Well, about the speed and range... high speeds will suck up fuel faster than a Vietnamese prostitute. That might explain the short range with the high speed, but at those speeds, that armour must be pretty thin.

No tank is three tons except for some old WWI-era models, usually lacking a cannon and relying solely on machine guns or flamethrowers. A good NS-grade light tank is somewhere between 25 and 45 tons, with a medium tank being 55 - 75 tons and a heavy tank being over 150 and sometimes close to 1,200.

Your vehicle is about the weight of a van. An 80mm gun, while maybe effective in WWII, is a piece of shit in today's field, where my own tank got panned for its 105mm ETC gun.
