The Odin Satellite Weapons Platform - $15 Billion
Description:
Space based weaponry has always been somewhat of a feared force. Hwoever, the vast possibilities in space based weaponry have only very rarely been utulized. We here at Ottomautics Weapons Inc. have always wished to embrace new technology, and have therefore expanded into space based weaponry. To you, we present our very finest creation: The Odin Satellite Weapons Platform.
The Odin system is completely self reliant. It functions simplisticly. In the center of the system is the major "Odin" unit, pictured below. Circling it in close orbit are 6 outlying "Raven" satelites. Within each Raven unit are 10 kinetic energy missiles- 3 meter long tungsten spikes. Upon receiving a deploy command, these rods are fired, one by one. The drop through the atmosphere at excesses of 36,000 feet per second. Upon impact, each of these spikes does damage similar to a bunker busting nuclear missile, minus the nuclear explosion. The spikes can be refilled at any time by any satellite recharge capable spaceship.
The Odin System comes complete with 60 spikes, and, should you request it, a team of Ottomautics specialists will launch your satellite free of charge. Your satellite can be refilled by a team of Ottomautics specialists for the small charge of 1,000,000 USD.
Statistics:
Weight: 34,500 Kg (Odin unit), 30,560 Kg (Raven units)
Energy source: Solar panels
Life span: 25 years
