Tpfian-Wanderjarian Border
It was all quiet on the Western Front. But not for long. The peace of Nova Europa would soon be shattered. The Sword of Damocles would soon hang over the continent. A conflict to rival even the most savage and brutal in history would soon break out, one which would culminate in hatred so severe, it would be unthinkable.
“ Echo-one-one, we are moving into position, over.”
“ Roger, Echo-one-one, uploading targeting data now.”
The formation of Sariel bombers flew miles apart, and at varying altitudes. Each carried a full payload of weapons. They were just the first wave, soon enough, the second would come, and then even more bombers and other aircraft would follow the gaping hole left in Wanderjar's air defense network. As the group of two hundred and fifty bombers crossed the border into Wanderjar, drones began to actively scan with their radars. Enemy air-defense sites would pick them out, fire at them, and thus expose their positions, allowing for the Sariels to make short work of them. Once the air defense networks of northern Wanderjar were destroyed, Wanderjarian troops would be subject to the mercy of the air force.
