Tpfian-Wanderjarian Border
It was all quiet on the Western Front. But not for long. The peace of Nova Europa would soon be shattered. The Sword of Damocles would soon hang over the continent. A conflict to rival even the most savage and brutal in history would soon break out, one which would culminate in hatred so severe, it would be unthinkable.

“ Echo-one-one, we are moving into position, over.”
“ Roger, Echo-one-one, uploading targeting data now.”
The formation of Sariel bombers flew miles apart, and at varying altitudes. Each carried a full payload of weapons. They were just the first wave, soon enough, the second would come, and then even more bombers and other aircraft would follow the gaping hole left in Wanderjar's air defense network. As the group of two hundred and fifty bombers crossed the border into Wanderjar, drones began to actively scan with their radars. Enemy air-defense sites would pick them out, fire at them, and thus expose their positions, allowing for the Sariels to make short work of them. Once the air defense networks of northern Wanderjar were destroyed, Wanderjarian troops would be subject to the mercy of the air force.

The Empress's jaw dropped. This was not good news. She was in a real bind, with Mannstein and the Grand Admiral gone she was left with just Derrick. The news of a TPF attack on Wanderjar made her be hesistant for the first time in her life. She didnt know what to do, she wanted to aid Wanderjar, a close ally, but didnt want to fight its other ally, The Peoples Freedom. The Shakal would remain neutral for the time. Until a better cours eof action could be determined.

"What the hell is this?!" Tsar Xavier II threw the briefing folder across the room, beginning to pace. "We have been working with the New Prussian Empire to form a lasting friendship, and right as they were about to get us to think we could lean on them if necessary, they crumble into shambles!" Minister of State Security Yuri Golovko picked up the papers from the folder and turned to the Tsar.

"Sir, we knew it was coming -- it was you, in fact, who said that the duel-Emperorship would collapse." Andropov, subdued now, nodded, returning to his chair.

"Yes, that I did, that I did. In Rome, it worked, as the Consuls were severely limited by the Senate. King Lear, however, learned that power, if divided, naturally wishes to come together again. Unfortunately, the New Prussians failed to learn from that mistake." Tsar Xavier II Andropov motioned for the briefing folder, and looked over some of the map, and after a few minutes, smiled.

"Minister Kabanov, make a statement proclaiming our neutrality in the conflict for the time being. However, Golovko, I want you to have your contacts in the militias of Derscon, as well as in the military, to start picking sides. Dismissed, I need time to think this over."
