((ooc: i've thought and thought about how to officialy intro my nation race and finaly decided on playing out major events in there history focusing on there development into there curence FT form

this thread is designed to cover there first introduction to interplanitary/inter system traven and there first conquest of an alien race. these events are the true beginings of the Kratnen Empire also covering the final unification of the race under one leader for one cause

This will esentualy be a war between the Kratnen empire and the Arianthis. the Arianthis are a relitivly peacefull technologicaly advanced space fareing race who after discovering the ever fighting People of the planet Kratna and out of the goodness of there hearts decided to civilize the Kratnens

the global leaders at the time decided to accept there help and one was named emporer of Kratna several years later after learning all ther could and finaly haveing enough of the Arianthis slightly condencending additude turned on there benifactors and are not bent on there compleat subjegation as a race

if you would like to join please ask and state how you would like to participate. if you want to Join the Kratnen side your more than welcome to if you want to play as the Arianthis or one of there allies you can just be sure to keep the tech low as well as the numbers for the time being energy weapons are very rare and only equiped on the most powerful of capital ships

i hope i get enoigh intrest otherwise i'll have to think of another way to intro my race

Ragoris sat in his desk in his private study, his eyes fixed on a viewscreen flashing statistic after needless statistic on the frustratingly slow Water Purification Project; that ever since the Republic's bombing had plauged their world.

"There's just not enough money..." he sighed, half afraid he'd have to actually deal with the Republic now and take up their demeaning offer to trade -them- for water. As if that would ever occur, the Kharanai people had more of a spine behind them than that. The trade with Serenno was running quite efficiently, but Serreno itself had little fresh water to spare, and everyone knew would in the end be a futile effort.

The door behind him beeped, indicating that someone wished to enter. "Come in..." he said a bit annoyed.

"My lord," one of the messengers from a minister spoke quickly, "I wished to consult you on a most intruiging matter. A message has been forwarded to us by a nearby race - known as Kratnen, who are planning a revolt against another race who has abused and belittled their people. They request the assistance of all in the region."

Ragoris's green eyes narrowed for a moment in thought. They were certainly not Kharanai - not even human from the sounds of things, and as such were no doubt of lower innate value. Still, the prospect for profit won out in his mind. Their demands would be seemingly simple and cheap - water, one of the most basic of all substances on most worlds.

"Very well," he said at last, "Have Foreign Minister Motki send them a letter stating our demands of water and prospect of alliance."

To: Whom it may concern in the Sovriegn Kratnen Empire

We, the people of the Interplanetary Federation of Kharan-Serenno have heard your plight and have decided to come to your assistance in driving off the most horrific of all beings which have so abused your people. We stand pledged to send our warriors to join your noble cause, and have but one simple request in return.

Our world itself was recently devestated by a people much like the Arianthis, and though we eventually drove them back, our world's water supplies have been contaminated. We ask, in return for our military support, a supply of fresh, pure water to our world until such a time as our natural water supplies can be fully purified.
