OOC: Since the last thread didn't really generate any traffic, I'm going to start a new thread to get more embassies.
Ministry of State
By order of HRH, Emperor Valerian I, the Ministry of State is hereby authorized to begin the process of offering new plots for the construction of foreign embassies in our country. Even if your nation already possesses an embassy in our country, please reapply so that Imperial records can be updated and consolidated for future use. In order to expedite the process, we have streamlined the requirements to ensure that all requests are approved quickly.
All standard embassies will adhere to the following regulations:
1. Maximum of 2 square kilometers in size.
2. No armed vehicles. Armored vehicles are permitted.
3. No weapons heavier than standard infantry weapons.
However, nations we consider our close friends will be allowed to customize their embassies as they wish. These trusted nations will have special privileges, including full diplomatic immunity, that go above any beyond those granted to other nations under Vetalian law. In addition, our government will provide plots for alliances so that they may send emissaries to our nation.
Trusted nations:
British Londinium
Wagdog
Vontanas
Akimonad
Maldorians
New Manth
Lord Sumguy
Pan-Arab Barronia
(OOC: If I miss your nation on the friendly nations list, apologies. I'm doing it from memory, so the most recently active nations are the ones I remember. If this is the case, remind me and I will add you.)
Embassy List:
Rodachenko Prospekt: Named after one of the greatest Praetors of Vetalia, this long avenue runs along the coastline and provides a beautiful view of Kazlova Bay and the skyline of Vetalia City. It is also home to a number of major corporations and the Monument to the Conquerors of the Atom, dedicated to the men who developed Vetalia's first domestic nuclear power technology and its first nuclear weapon in 1959.
1 Rodachenko Prospekt: Alfegos
2 Rodachenko Prospekt: United States of Cookesland: Ambassador R. Edward Pilking
Vetalia Prospekt: Originally the terminus of the Imperial Highway, this major transportation artery is home to the majority of the city's remaining Imperial-era architecture as well as the main entry point to the Imperial Palace. In addition, it is also the entry point to the 9th April Square, more commonly known as Revolution Square, where military parades are held every year to commemorate the 1955 revolution.
1 Vetalia Prospekt: Republic of Steel and Fire: Mrs. Ludwiga Henderson
1st. Automobile Ring Road: The main transportation corridor around the city, this was also the boundary of Vetalia City until 1975, when the 2nd Automobile Ring Road nearly doubled the city's boundaries to help contain the effects of suburbanization, a plan which ultimately revitalized the urban core and prevented the decline seen in other cities.
Kalograd Prospekt: This rapidly developing region of the city was formerly an independent town before joining with Vetalia City in 2002. It is home to VARPA, the research agency of the Vetalian military, as well as VASA and the Institute for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics. This high-tech hub is home to many of the country's intelligentsia and a major bastion of Imperial support.
1 Kalograd Prospekt: Republik Vandaheim: Honorable Peter Fuller
