AURORA-In dark of night, with an approaching thunderstorm, Duchess Shino Nanao and Duke George Villa of AHSCA welcomed a healthy baby girl into the world. Marcella at 4 1/2 lbs, was born shortly after midnight according to the doctor who helped deliver the baby and cried instantly. "A very good sign." There were no serious problems with Shino. "She's tired but she's all right."

The other islands are rejoicing in the news and have promised gifts for the newborn. While Crona Island Leader Ayla Turell was not available, others put in their comments:

"It's a wonderful occasion for Milady Shino and her husband. They should both be very proud and grateful." Said Schala Laez, leader of Stilleståndö

"It's exciting, our leader now has an heiress." Said Miko Jirad of Animalpolis

"I hope for the best with their new baby, they should be proud." Said Yukiko Kimura of Hoshino.

Comment from George Villa and Shino are still pending, but we can be sure they are happy with their newborn.
