The Last Stand of the Three Hundred (ATTN: ALL)

"CHARGE!" the militia man said, screaming a bloodcurdling war cry as he lead the other rebels in a terrifying bayonet charge on Embassy Lane. They had bayonet attachments on their semi-automatic rifles, and top of the line Worg leather armor, lighter and slightly stronger the kevlar.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the barricade, their blood completly curdled, the three hundred loyalists defended one of their last pockets of land in Golddale. If they could hold the embassies until the Free Empire retook Golddale and the rest of Riverrod, they would be heroes of the Battle of Riverrod.

Both sides called on the embassy security forces for assistance, the loyalists more persistent. If they all joined the loyalists then the rebels would be stemmed until the soldiers marched in victorious, bearing the flag of the Free Empire. However, if there were turncoats, then the defences could be breached and the scene would become filled with gore and blood. The fate of the Vantanians in the battle lied in the hands of foreigners.

OOC: For RP purposes, there will only be one embassy street. Also, if you don't have an embassy in my thread you can basically assume you have one anyways. This thread is tied to this one (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=538257) as a side story. Check my embassy thread for limitations on weaponry and whatnot, but know I'll be lenient as it is a war. I reserve the right to reject a few nations from participating/having an embassy in my nation for OOC and IC reasons respectivly.

OOC: The rebels support their own gov't. They're liberal capitalists working for greater democracy, improved human rights, and regulated businesses.

Vetalian Embassy, Golddale

Ambassador Pyotr Rodachenko stared out of the window of the embassy, watching as the rebel forces advanced on the remaining loyalist forces in Golddale. Behind him stood the Captain in charge of the Vetalian troops guarding the building as well as the Vantanian security staff.

"Comrades, the time has come for us to do our part in the fight for freedom in Vantanian. The emperor has authorized us to intervene in this conflict and defeat the remaining loyalists to aid our allies in winning control of the city."

"Captain, drape the rebel flag from the window and begin opening fire on the loyalists. I want the security staff to remove the weapons stored in the basement and begin supplying any and all rebels with that equipment. We've successfully hidden it for months now, and it is time to use it. Enough guns, ammunition, and explosives to supply these troops and tip the battle in their favor."

"Yes, Ambassador."

With that, the men set about their tasks, and the Vetalian troops began opening fire at the loyalist enemy. Since they were in an embassy, their weapons were limited to assault rifles and pistols, but they were nonetheless able to keep up a steady stream of fire from within the compound.

Message from the Home Country

Do what you find necessary to survive, but during this conflict, your
actions are your responsibilities, we are severing ties with you.

Everyone looked to the ambassador, a former Cnian Army Officer he looked into their eyes. "Our nation has done the best thing for our people," his fist slammed against the desk chair. "But we must do the best for ourselves now!" And icy cold grin came across his face, looking outside the window, at the ongoing battle just across the street. (Map/Schematics?) "We will sweep in at night, taking the dead men's weapons and ammunition, but for now, equip and train the civilian staff with the extra pistols we brought for them.

The initial reason for the weapons was similar to this situation. The troops quickly trained and showed the forty-one civilian staff how to use a gun, basic commands, and to use cover, suppressing fire, and other individual techniques. Several hours later Ambassador Arnold came downstairs to the shooting range, now a training facility. "Are we ready?"

A battle scared sergeant replied. "These poor sacks of shit aren't close to soldier, hell neither are the security, but they'll do, Ambassador." Saying the last word with a seething arrogance, probably not knowing the man's past service, proving himself an idiot, all Cnian males were soldiers at one point, even if they didn't see action. The only thing that separated the civilians from the security guards was that the civilians were random people, none from Buddha C.

"One, our security are trained. And two, it's Captain Arnold to you." His jaw line became clear as he clenched his teeth, a disdain was growing between the two. "Now, set them up, I want a ten man rotation guarding the embassy at all times, the rest of the time drill them." His sergeant saluted to him, and he saluted back, but there was no respect, just a boss-to-employee relationship.

OOC: NC, you're incredibly smart. The loyalists are loyal to the Free Empire.
