The assasination of Lord Sumguy (closed, Sons of Sagacity) - Page 2

"Hmm, and is he a citizen of this country? If so, i can obtain the files of his children from his, and find out their locations of residence."
"Perhaps." She said, looking at her screen blankly, her eyes seemingly out of focus, scratching the mild spot on her cheek as it jumbled around softly, throbbing with life. Meanwhile, she asked. "So," She began, "I've never heard of you, Captain. Which division did you hail from?"
Lord Sumguy
16-10-2007, 20:46
"I was assigned here as captain immediately upon joining the Sons of Sagacity."
"Sounds quite unfair." The Leper said, stretching. "Well, whatever the Fox Lord does, I'll agree to it. He knows best for us all." She said, getting up towards the windows, the rays of light shining through to her. "I'll have to get in contact with Sedative to ensure that things don't turn out bad for us. Captain, can you come back tomorrow to the same place?" Looking at Unity, she frowned. "Oh, and Unity, stick with the Captain. I'll need some time alone to figure this scenario out."
Lord Sumguy

"It would seem so, but I caught the attention of the recruiters by killing or wounding a few high ranking members of the Sons Of Sagacity, that might have something to do with it. I can come back tommorow. It is just as well, i have personal matters to attend to." He turned towards the door and looked at unity. "Whether or not you will accompany me is your decision, I am impartial." He walked to the door, opened it, and continued out into the hallway.
Unity, unwilling to part from her duty, and her Captain, stood behind him every step of the way, like a malicious ghost that hovered ever so delicately. She gave off a frighteningly strong and eerie aura, her steps audible every time Zealot would stop, her breath felt slowly in the gust of air that flew around her. It was, unnaturally uncomfortable.

Zealot gave no sign that e was at all disturbed by Unity's presence. He opened the passenger door to his car and walked around, getting in the driver's seat. "We are going to the Sumguaia city hospital, if it is of any inerest to you." He said, waiting for her to get in.

OOC: bump
"Why is that?" She asked, blank minded, somewhat curious, a gray shade colored bleakly over her eyes.
Meanwhile, sitting down, the Leper looked at her screens, thinking carefully as another man stood before her, looking out the window from the lofty heights as his hair flowed gently down in thick, watery waves. Silver and elegant, it shined with a polished gloss that shimmered like his his. Standing silent, he finally broke his silence as words escaped from his mouth. "You don't have to act subservient to that man." He said, as the Leper chuckled, though somewhat morbidly.
"To judge a man's character and worth is how he treats his subordinates." She replied, looking at her laptop without bother to turn away, her eyes reflecting the flickering screen before her. "Though I'm surprised you didn't kill him."
"The Fox Lord wants him alive, and he wants him in the Rekrixua. There's little I can do, given that he commands more power and influence than I do, as well as being a more capable fighter than I." He said with a lack of triumph or enthusiasm. "I can't go against his word that easily without the backing of Redeye."
"Well, you can be sure that your brother will seek his revenge against Zealot for causing this whole ruckus." The Leper replied.
"Dollface understands his place, and knows that such a move will not be put in his favor. Just like you, General."
Sekai got up to the daze of the morning dew, his eyes blinking only twice in slow motion as he tried to stand but the searing pain in his stomach stopped him from doing so. Sleeping on the floor, drooling quite disgustingly, was Christina as she looked like she was drinking the night before, or whenever it was. The clock visible from the kitchen showed that it was already at least three days since he had passed out. Time flies, and he didn't want it to.
Trying to regain his composure, he turned around, his back facing up, his stomach face down, but it gargled painfully as he turned back, lying there silently, Christina getting up to the noise of the jostling blankets moving restlessly. "Morning." He said to her, though his eyes could not meet hers. She was still half asleep.
"Oh, you're awake." She said, walking over to him, standing over him, looming like some gargantuan shadow that arced and diffused darkness from her very being. Finally, she swayed slightly, trying to stand straight before she collapsed down onto his chest, her soft skin rubbing against his wound, a satisfying warmth emanating from it.
"You smell like alcohol." He complained.

"There is a patient there that I wish to speak with." Zealot responded as he started the car. Ten minutes later, they arrived at the hospital and he stepped out. He bagan to walk around to open the door for Unity, but thought better of it, as he did not want to repeat what happened the last time he had done that.
"Thank you, Captain." She said, rushing out of the car, slightly fumbling. It was odd that such a woman would be a vice captain, but it mattered little in such a situation. She was there for a reason, and it would only be logical to have it revealed in due time.

The woman in the hospital lobby looked up from the paperwork on her desk, and immediately looked down again as she saw the two enter. Zealot turned and walked down a hallway, leading to the room in which Nike was recovering from his injuries. When he reached the room, he knocked on the door.
"Come in." Nike said briskly, the noise of a television audible.
Lord Sumguy
23-10-2007, 00:40
"I would prefer that you stay out here, I wish to speak with ths person in private." Zealot said to Unity, and entered the room. He closed the door behind him and sat down in a chair near the bed. "How are you feeling?"
Unity frowned. "I understand, Captain." She said briskly.
Within, Nike chuckled. "Fine, as always." He said, turning to face Zealot, his left eye closed slightly. Opening it fully, he revealed a silvery glaze over it, bloodshot and fragile, chuckling slightly. "I was visited by a member of the Sons of Sagacity. Punishment for my failure is my eye." He chuckled slightly louder, almost in disbelief. Calming down, he looked at Zealot. "From the sound of it outside, is that Unity, I hear?"
Lord Sumguy
23-10-2007, 02:25
"Yes it is. You should be glad it was only your eye, If it weren't for me it would have been your life they took. Before I say anything further, I must ask you one question: Are you still loyal to the Sons of Sagacity?"
Nike chuckled nervously. "You know, I don't know. The Sons of Sagacity have always been my home, and what kept me going in times of destitution and desperation, but they're not the most loving of organizations nor the most merciful to anything they perceive as weak or fragile. In a way, it's a yes, and a no. My loyalties are not with the Sons of Sagacity, nor were they ever were. As an Exkrucia, I bow only to the Spring Demon, and he still has my undying faith." Nike turned to Zealot. "Not the answer you were looking for, huh?"
Lord Sumguy
23-10-2007, 21:28
"No, not quite." Zealot responded, dissapointment barely visible in his expression. "That will make our conversation somewhat shorter." He lened back in the chair, rubbing his eyes for a moment.
"In case you didn't already know, I am now a captain in the Rekrixua. I agreed to join partially to save your life, but mostly because I was blackmailed. If i didn't join, the Sons of Sagacity would have kept trying to kill Lord Sumguy, and i could not have protected him forever. As such, he is now without a bodyguard, and I wish for you to take that position, as a partial payment for your life. You are the only man capable of such a task that i feel i can ask this of. It is the only way to ensure Lord Sumguy even a small chance of survival should I fall out of favor with the Sons of Sagacity." He had taken the small cross his former employer had given him out of his pocket and wrapped it slowly around his palm as he was talking. "So, what say you to this request?"
"I guess I do owe you my life, don't I?" Nike said, chuckling. "Alright, I'll take up your offer." He leaned back slightly, jolting back up in slight pain. "Damn wounds." He groaned in disapproval.
Lord Sumguy
23-10-2007, 22:31
"Good, then that is all i wished to speak to you about. I just hope you aren't too fond of any of the Rekrixua." Zealot stood up and walked towards the door. He opened it, stepped out into the hallway, and closed it behind him. "Alright, lets go." He said to Unity, and proceeded down the hallway.
"What's the next course of action?" Unity asked, following step by step, her face somewhat blank.
Lord Sumguy
24-10-2007, 19:15
"I need to visit a jewelry store, to make a few purchases." Zealot said, not elaborating any further on what those purchases would be. As they got back into the car, his cell phone beeped. He opened it, and a look of disgust came over his face. "I am afraid we must make a detour, AL business. They would get rather suspicious if I refused this for no apparent reason." He put the cell phone on a holder next to the car radio, there was a text mesage on the screen:
407 Liberty St.
Caucasian male, 6' 2", serial murderer, rapist.
Eliminate immediately.
God's will be done.
He started the car engine. "You may want to stay in the car while I take care of this, it will be bloody."
"What's going to happen?" Unity asked.
Meanwhile, the Spring Demon sat quietly, upon his plane, drinking his tea with his eyes staring across at the man smiling from him. He had a flock of long, messy hair, sleek and shaded in blue and crimson orange, his smile wide and auspicious. He had razor thin slits for eyes, a sharp nose and wore a black nylon coat-like overshirt, a long silver necklace at his neck as his pants were faded turquoise. He chuckled loudly.
"What?" The Spring Demon asked, drinking his tea. The man moved his face dangerously close, moving back, looking at the emotionless, soulless minions that sat beside the Spring Demon, their hands on their handles. He chuckled again. "Fox Lord, why are you so upbeat today?"
"Because there isn't a single thing to put me down today. Behemoth is on the prowl, and Redeye has finished fixing up Slabwringer. It's a good day for the Rekrixua and the Sakrianda."
"But I don't get a single recruit, don't I?" Serego asked, emotionlessly. The Fox Lord chuckled again.
"Damn right." Long gone was his broken, colloquially ridden speech, replaced by utmost malicious elegance, malevolent formality. A bipolar opposite of his usual tone.
Lord Sumguy
25-10-2007, 02:07
"Look at the message on the phone." Zealot said, pointing at the device as they drove towards Liberty St. "I have been assigned a criminal to kill by the Abrahamic League. He will pobably have a few others with him, it's suicide for a wanted man to be alone in the Empire thanks to the AL. I advise you to choose wether you will go with me or stay in the car within the next thirty seconds, as we will be arriving in less than two minutes and i must adjust my tactics accordingly."
Her face became stern, almost robotic. "I will go with you, Captain!" She somewhat shouted in blind loyalty.
Lord Sumguy
25-10-2007, 02:45
"Very well." He replied, giving her a handgun from out of his cloak while keeping one hand on the wheel. I will have to kill them quickly to ensure her survival. She appears to actually be loyal to me, that may prove usefull. The car slowed, and stopped in front of an abandoned hotel. Zealot picked up a shotgun from the back seat, and got out, walking towards the front door.
Unity quickly moved into action, swift, powerful, experienced. Long gone was her attitude of foolishness and idiocy, but replaced with a staunch, stern expression of cold cruelty and extremity. She dashed with utmost speed following Zealot, and it became apparent on why she was of such a rank.
Lord Sumguy
26-10-2007, 20:28
Zealot stopped just in front of the door to the lobby. Contrary to most hotel entrances, it was wooden and had no windows. He listened for a moment, and heard the click of a gun being cocked. He fired four shots into the door, behind which the sound had originated, and was rewearded with a scream. Gunfire erupted from within and a bullet whizzed through the now gaping hole, burying itself in his arm. Zealot stood motionless for a split second, focusing on the pain from the injury and using it to enter into his trademark beserker state almost instantly.
He let out an unearthly roar and drew his sword, ramming himself through the door and dissapearing inside, blood spraying out onto the ground as he encountered his first victim.
OOC: gah, bad post. ah well. Get on yahoo at some point, i have story details to discuss. RP the criminals they are fighting if you wish, i intend them all to die anyway.
Lord Sumguy
29-10-2007, 06:23
Gunfire and screaming could be heard within the building as Zealot carved a bloody path through it in search of his target, killing any who tried to stop him. After about a minute and a half, a man fitting the description Zealot had been giving burst out of a side door near the fron entrance, running for a nearby car. He was stopped halfway when a bullet went through his kneecap, and fell to the ground, writhing in pain. Behind him came Zealot, covered in blood, and holding a smoking pistol. he picked the struggling man up with one hand, his eyes completely red.
"How many of them tried to run!?" He was talking to his victim. "Do you feel their pain yet? Their fear?"
"I'm sorry! Please, don't kill me, I'm sorry!" His victim cried, sobbing in terror. The captain became quiet for a moment when he heard this.
"Sorry, are you? You feel remorse now? You repent? It's funny, how men can suddenly seek to change their evil ways when faced with death." He held his still struggling target by the throat, and began tightening his hand. "God will know if you are sincere in your regret."
His free hand became a blur as he punched his victim in the chest, his hand passing through the man's body and coming out his back. The man struggled for another second, then fell limp. Zealot dropped him and stood for a moment, calming himself. After about five seconds he walked back towards the car.
Unity gave her usual cheery, jovial, excited thumbs up. She nodded with approval, though nothing escaped her lips. Finally, the tiniest ring came from her cell phone, as she flicked it out, clicking noisily into her hand. Immediately, she turned into a frowning face. "Captain, there seems to be a change of plans."
Lord Sumguy
30-10-2007, 21:14
"I hope the new plan doesnt require me to look neat." Zealot said, noticing that his clothing was covered in blood. He opened a car door and took out his medkit. He selected a pair of tongs and ripped the shoulder of his shirt open, revealing a bullet wound. "So, what is the new plan?" He asked as he pulled the bullet from his arm, unflinching.
Unity took on a serious, frightening expression. She stare was of retribution, judgment, execution. She looked bloodthirsty, dark, and her eyes were like cat eyes - a thin black slit ran down their center, upon it was revealed she was heterochromic. It was only when the blood began to truly run through her eyes did they show shade. "Ninth Division Captain has rebelled. We have orders to eliminate him."
Lord Sumguy
30-10-2007, 22:06
"Now that is a mission that I would be suited to." Zealot replied, smiling. And why chose my division for this, testing my loyalty? "But surely that would be a task for the Exkrucia?"
"I'm confused too. I don't know what's going on." Unity shrugged, her hands flailing up wildly in wonder. She was strange girl, but it was nonetheless vital that she stay in one piece.
Meanwhile, Sekai was trying to make pancakes, though the machine had burnt them to a blackened ring and crisp, with Christina sitting with her head in her arms, moaning and groaning in hunger. "How about we go out?" Sekai asked, as she shook her head. "Delivery?"
"Sure." She said, sighing, as Sekai went to get the phone. He had changed visually almost completely - long gone was his dangerous, scornful look, his eyes thin and snakelike, revealing a pair of emerald gems behind the lids. He still wore fake glasses, mostly since it assisted in his disguise, and eventually, Christina came to like it. She stood up, wrapped herself around him from behind, her short stature only reaching to the bottom of his large shoulders. She sighed, smiling gently, politely, blissfully.
"What is it?" Sekai asked, as she rubbed her face slowly into his back, tightening her hold. He waited silently.
"I love you." She whispered, barely audible, her fingers locked together in a grip, as if he was to leave her any second, about to escape at any moment, never to be seen again.
And it was quite prophetic. That night, Sekai Hamruun resumed his duties as Dollface, out in the blackness, his bombs readied.
Jormungand was displeased.
Lord Sumguy
31-10-2007, 03:08
"Very well, did they give you a location, or way to find out where this rogue captain is?" Zealot replied, applying a bandage to his shoulder, which was now bleeding much faster than it had been, as the bullet as no longer keeping blood from escaping. Unity did indeed seem a puzzling individual. I suppose having so many personalities at a time can make one a bit unpredictable afterward.

Sumguaia City Hospital:
A man dressed in a black suit with a preist's collar opened the door to Nike's room, and walked in. He sat down in a chair, regarding the man on the bed with curiosity. When Nike woke up, he began spoke:
"So, did you accept his offer?"
As he awaited a reply, the man, apparently in his early thirties, eminated an aura of goodwill and confidence. He always had a slight smile on his face, as if whatever he was looking at was admirable and worthy in his eyes.
Unity looked at her phone, browsing through it quickly and carefully, her eyes running slightly as the noise of the teal screen shivered and crackled. "It believe it's Central Park." She said, turning her cellphone, pointing it to Zealot as it showed a series of roads, with a turquoise block labeled 'Central Park'. She remembered. "Wasn't that the park that we just came from?" She asked, trying to remember.
Nike smiled. "Are you going to kill me?" He asked in return.
Lord Sumguy
31-10-2007, 04:18
"Yes, it is. Somehow i doubt that we are being told the entire story." He took off his mask, rubbing the scar on hi face absently. I hope to God this has something to do with him, I have yet to repay him for getting me involved in this whole evil affair. "Still, I suppose there is no point in standing around and wondering, so i think we should go scout the area. We wouldn't want to just waltz in, especially if we encounter anything unexpected. Do you have any suggestions? I am afraid i know nothing of the ninth division."
_____________________________________________________________________________________
"Now why on earth would I want to kill you?" The man said, laughing. "I only wish to know if you feel you are up to the job. What are your thought upon it?"
"I'm in a debt. I have to repay it somehow." Nike said pragmatically.
"Ninth division? I don't know much about them either." She said. "But I heard they have a cute captain." She smiled, and it was odd to know whether it was a joke or not.
Lord Sumguy
01-11-2007, 02:43
"Indeed. Well, I am satisfied. There are some things that i would like to make clear though: While you are protecting me and on duty, you are to show nothing but goodwill to all you encounter. I may be Emperor, but i am still a servant to my people, and while I am your employer, so are you. Also, i have a wife and two children, you are to place their safety before mine at all times. And finally, I am not some defensless old bureaucrat. I'm no stranger to combat, and am quite capable of defending myself should the need arise."
Lord Sumguy stood up, holding his hand ot for Nike to shake. "Try to be in the office by next thursday, if you can manage it."
____________________________________________________________________________________________________
Zealot laughed. "Well then, at least we will have a pleasant veiw while we are attempting to kill him. Do you know if there is anyone els in our division who is close enough assist us in this?"
"I might not be able to." Nike jokingly said, chuckling. "But who comes first; your wife or your children?"
Unity frowned, turning around, looking at the dark sky that shimmered brightly. "The reapers are coming." She spoke cryptically. "Tonight, the black men come. The gods of death that dance upon the velvet sky." She kept her face still, silent, cold and ready. "Your army will come tonight." She spoke assuringly.
Lord Sumguy
01-11-2007, 23:20
"I am afraid i cannot choose between them, so I ask you to judge if such a need should arise based upon who you would most likely be able to save. Hopefully, such a decision need never be made. If that is all, then I will be going. Being a ruler of a nation, head of an alliance, father of two children, and preist of a church does not leave much time for idle chat."
Lord Sumguy headed for the door, and stopped as he remembered something, turning around. "Tell me, are you religious in any way?"
____________________________________________________________________
Zealot was silent, trying to decipher what Unity had just stated. My army? What on earth is she talking about? Gods of death? Velvet sky? It's poetic, but not entirely helpful.
"I suppose you cant elaborate further upon that statement?"
"No, I do not believe in the worship of deities and spirits. If such a God existed, then he is no worthy of my respect." Nike said, smiling.
Unity looked at Zealot, her eyes different, glazed over, almost as if it were visible that something was wrong with her, her teeth seemingly fang-like, her aura deep, dense and dark. "What do you mean?" She asked him, looking at him. "There is little to elaborate. Only time to dance." She spoke, maliciously, evilly, a void of life and expression in her words, almost speaking mechanically.
Lord Sumguy
03-11-2007, 21:59
"Well then I am afraid you will be very bored every Sunday from ten to eleven in the morning." Lord Sumguy replied, laughing. "Cheer up Nike, the world ain't all bad." With that he walked out of the room, cheerfully whistling a hym as he walked down the hall.
______________________________________________________________________
Fine time for her to start acting like a nut... Zealot thought, watching Unity warily. He flipped the safety off of a pistol under his cloak, to call her behavior unnerving would be an understatement. "Well, you seem to know a hell of a lot more about what's going on than I do, so please, what should we do, o poetically cryptic one?"
Nike slumped back down into his bed, his eyes up at the ceiling before a thin, frowning woman walked in, her eyes emotionless, soulless, her face cold and her stare like knives; piercing and cold. Her left side carried a mass of dirty flesh, wrapped up in a brown-stained gauze-like bandage wrap, looking down at Nike with utmost apathy. "Nike." She said, looking at him with a small sliver of a smile. "How are you?" She asked.
"G-General?!" Nike asked, surprised, the heart rate monitor beeping slightly quicker.
"Don't increase your heart rate now, otherwise it'll attract attention." She said, looking down at him. "Unity has mobilized Zealot's army. The reapers are going to make their move. The majority of them will come tonight, when they have caught the plane over to the Hegemony and into Sumguaia." She explained, her fingers tapping on her clothes. "What was he asking you?"
"Protection." Nike said, as the Leper laughed loudly.
"Do you think you can even protect? You're an Exkrucia. You're meant to destroy. And you've failed in your prospect to do so." She said, smiling, her fingers running smoothly along themselves, her flaky skin falling down gently as she ran her finger along the mass of her face, skin breaking easily to allow a thin jet of blood to be greedily gobbled up by the absorption of the gauze. "Do you want me to teach you a lesson?" She asked, looking at Nike, her eyes nonchalant, monotonous. "I remember distinctly that I am in fact the last of the Eight Generals to exist in this country. And before I leave, I can be rid of you from my sight."
Nike gripped tighter on his sheets, looking up with disdain, ready to retaliate, but the Leper merely smiled, before dipping down her lips onto his, Nike trying to force himself away as he struggled, but she kept him down, her knees crushing his forearms. The position they were in seemed quite provocative, but it was not long before she let go and turned around, headed towards the door. She stopped quickly. "Nike, the General Kerrek isn't happy." She said, with Nike grasping his throat. "Welcome to my living hell."
In his body, the seeping saliva of the Leper slowly filtered its way into his blood, drenching his veins in unknown flames.

Lord Sumguy paused in walking as his cell phone rang. He opened it: "Hello?"
"There is someone in the patient's room." said the Royal Guardsman on the other line, as he looked into the room through a rifle scope from a nearby building. "It is a woman, with some strange deformity on her face. She appears to be doing something to him, i cant makeout what."
"Very well. Take no action nfor now. Watch him closely for the next few days and make sure that he is thouroughly tested for anything that she may have done to him.."
"Yes sir."
Lord Sumguy closed the phone, looking back down the hall to see Leper closing the door. He smiled, and continued whistling.

Sgt. "Mike Johnson" looked at the figures of Zealot and Unity through his own sniper scope, as he had been doing for nearly a day. I do not like this, something evil is afoot. he opene his cell phone, and typed a message into it.
Zealot velt a vibrqation in his pocket, and opened his phone to look at what had appeared on the screen:
He is like a tree planted by streams of water
which yeilds it's fruit in season
and whose leaf doesn not wither.
Whatever he does prospers.
Michael, due north
Zealot laughed mirthlessly, and turned north, spreading his arms wide. "Not so with the wicked!" He shouted, seemingly to no one. "They are like chaff which the wind blows away. Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgement, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous!"
Sgt. "Johnson" smiled as he saw Zealot shouting, reading the man's lips. Zealot had just answered the summons, and given permission to call forth the rest.

The Holy Empire of Lord Sumguy, Southern Coast:
Rev. Thomas Shmidt stood, holding an ornately decorated steel cross with a four-foot wooden handle, wiping the blood off of it. "And so dies a man who dared to call himself a drug lord." He said to himself, looking down upon the corpse at his feet. his cellphone rang, and he opened it, smiling as he saw the message upon it. "First time the summons have been issued in ten years..." He commented to the bodies surrounding him as he walked out.

The Holy Empire of The New True Cross, New Salem:
Lt. Mohammad Al-Omari walked through New Salem with a squad of men, looking for any enemy forces that were still in the city, when his cell phone rang. He looked at it, and cursed. "I doubt there could be a more inconvenient time for that." He said, putting it away. He turned to his squad. "I must travel back to the Empire, AL business. Lt. Wolf, take over here."
The men nodded, each of them was a member of the Abrahamic League, and had always known that their leader was far more than just another Royal Guardsman. They continued their patrol as Lt. Al-Omari made his way to speak with General Stevens, who could get him access to a plane home.

Unkown Third World Nation (OOC: yes, I am too lazy to think up a name.):
Jacob Smith grunted as he lifted a beam that had just been cut for the church that he was helping the locals build. He had been running a free elemtary school in this community for six months, as the people here were desperately impoverishe and few had known how to read before his arrival. He put the beam down next to the foundation, where it would be lifted into place using makeshift pulleys, when his phone rang. This startled him, as he had not used it in months. He looked at the screen, his expression unchanging, and approached the nearest local to tell them he needed to leave. They could hardly have stopped him if they wanted to, the man was a giant, and could probably break any of the villagers, who were fit and strong themselves from constant hard work, like a twig. He walked ten miles to the nearest bus stop, and got on a bus heading for the nation's capitol, where he could catch a plane.
OOC: more characters to be revealed later.
Unity, as always, had a blank look on her face. "What's going on?" She asked.
The Leper was the last to leave the country, but she was one of the first at the meeting. Here, at this meeting, the compilation of all eight of the masters of the Sons of Sagacity stood in their positions, looking at each other with both nostalgia and malice. Only one was missing; Jormungand. Tserax looked at them all. "So, is this council prepared for the next mission?" He asked, as they looked at each other, the meeting silent, the blackness encompassing. "It's a fairly logical path to take." He argued.
The Spring Demon spoke. "I believe Zealot should be executed immediately. A ransom member is more dangerous than any other kind." He said, as one of them nodded appreciatively; a monotonous, nihilistic-looking woman with silvery white hair bunched up in a neat and short ponytail at the back, her clothes in nothing but black. "His execution, and the execution of Dollface is of utmost importance."
"No, the execution of those two would be a hamper to the reinsertion of Jormungand into the council." The Leper spoke, with Tserax looking at them the two intensely. "The mind path of the Exkrucia is nothing more than rampant warmongering."
"You sound alot like a coward, General." One of them spoke, a snow-white haired man with slightly droopy eyes, a perpetual scowl on his face. "If the execution of Zealot and Dollface is required, then so be it. Wasn't Sepulchre killed a while back?" He asked, as Tserax chuckled loudly. The man looked at Tserax. "What's the matter, Redeye?" He asked.
"We will focus on one thing first. The reinsertion of Jormungand within the council, then we can focus on the dealing with Dollface and Zealot." Redeye proclaimed, as the Fox Lord wheezily chuckled.
OOC: Sorry to interupt, LS, you have a telegram

Zealot laughed again. "Funny, wasn't it just I who was asking that question moments ago? The Wrath of God has been awakened, to purge the wicked from this earth." He turned to her, smiling. "And to get any further explanation you will first have to explain these reapers and this army to me."
"It's exactly as I say it is. Each Captain is entitled to the use of military might." Unity explained briefly. "Your army is coming tonight."
Christina sat quietly, her eyes at her cell phone as the tiny words were there upon he screen: Jormungand. She was being called, being summoned, but it was of no use. There was no way she would rejoin a clan of murderers and destroyers, and she would have no part in it. No, possible way. But, Sekai complicated things. Redeye never let anyone leave the Sons of Sagacity. And she was a slave to their damnation.
Lord Sumguy

"Well now, was that so hard to say?" Zealot replied, laughing again. "The Wrath of God is a secret group of men within the Abrahamic League, the very best killers and fighters in the organization. Groups of criminals found dead, revolutions in nearby oppressed nations, enemies of the League assasinated, these are the works of the Wrath of God. Each is a machine of destruction, never slowing or allowing distraction until their goal has been acheived or they are dead. I am a member, and the summons have just been issued. Michael has called them and they will assemble in this city, for what purpose i know not, beyond that it has something to do with me."
Immediately, a phone call came from Unity's cell phone, as she picked it up, nodding profusely and quickly before handing it over to Zealot. "The Leper wants to talk to you." She held it out.
Lord Sumguy
06-11-2007, 22:10
"Alright." Zealot took the phone, putting it to his ear. "Yes?"
OOC: one-liner!
"This is the Leper. You are hereby ordered to bring yourself quickly to the point I have designated. It's an Eastern harbor, but you should be more than familiar with your own country than I am." She sighed, the noise of thudding audible in the background from the cell phone. "There has been a new mission, and I require your native assistance in this, Captain." Her tone was authoritative, powerful, and dominating.
Lord Sumguy
06-11-2007, 22:24
"Very well, what is it you would have me do once i reach this location?" Zealot asked, his tone now that of a soldier addresing a commanding officer.
"A council is being held on the issue. The mission's detail will be further provided once you have arrived." She replied.
Lord Sumguy
06-11-2007, 22:37
"I see, I will go to this location immediately. Is that all?"
"That is all." The Leper commanded, before she hung abruptly. Unity stood there, waiting, her toes tipping slightly forward, before slinging back.
Lord Sumguy
06-11-2007, 22:49
"I am to go to the city's eastern harbor, apparently we have yet another new mission." Zealot said, turning to Unity. He paused for a moment, and opened his cellphone once more, dailing a number: "Michael, I have need of your eye. The eastern harbor. The usual signal. God's will be done." He hung up, and walked to his car. "Will you be coming as well?" He asked Unity as he opened the door.
"I have to go." She smiled. "I'm your observer."
Lord Sumguy
06-11-2007, 23:06
"As expected." He said, waiting for her to get in.
Several blocks away, Sgt. "Johnson" picked up his sniper rifle and walked down a flight of stairs, outside to where a motorcycle was parked. He got on, slinging the rifle over his back by a strap, and headed for the city's eastern harbor. Needs my eye, does he? Here's hoping that's just more of his usual paranoia.
The Leper was not blind, but she might as well have been. Although her eyesight was fine, her sense of smell was uncanny. Blood only drenched upon her, and it was distasteful, horrid, and disgusting. On her arm, an odd insignia was branded upon her like cattle; the Sons of Sagacity and their wretched eight pronged sun. Quietly, she waited.
Lord Sumguy
06-11-2007, 23:20
The Captain's car stopped next to the location that had been given to him, and Zealot stepped out. He began walking, looking around him and noticing that there were far fewer people here than usual. The civilians kept their distance out of fear, not so much because he was an Abraamic League member as much as they were afraid of being caught in any firefight that may occur, as occasionaly did between the AL and the sole remaining street gang of this area.
"Yo." The Leper said, turning to Zealot, revealing her left eye - it was a ghostly silver shade, without life, her disease already moving towards her cornea and her iris, coloring it a milky white. "Perhaps I haven't introduced myself properly. I am Janice Selven. Rekrixua General, codenamed The Leper." She said. "I am one of the eight Generals of the Sons of Sagacity."
Lord Sumguy
06-11-2007, 23:31
Zealot looked sincerely shocked for a moment. "Oh? I had a feeling you were more than another member of my division. What is it you would have me do, General?"
"There are eight Generals within the Sons of Sagacity. Obviously I am one of them, and obviously you have met another one. The Spring Demon, and your own real superior, the Fox Lord. We are scattered throughout the world and only assemble when the strongest of us, RedEye, summons us for whatever reason. Currently," She closed her eyes, opening them back up, "there are seven. One spot is empty, and the former owner of that spot lives within this country."
Lord Sumguy
06-11-2007, 23:43
"And you need my help to locate this former general?" That shouldn't be too hard, If I use what influence I have within the Abrahamic League and Royal Guard.
"No. I am a General for a reason." She said, holding out a picture of a girl with long straight golden hair, watery eyes and a round, though thin face. A girl who was not incredibly beautiful, but obviously well above average in terms of aesthetics. "Christina MacDonald. University student, 3rd year. My beloved friend, General Jormungand." The Leper looked at Zealot. "I want you, by any means necessary, to convince her to return to the Sons of Sagacity. Additionally," she took out another picture with Sekai's image in the nearby window. "she is with this man. former 3rd Sakrianda, Dollface." The Leper spoke. Slowly, she moved to Zealot's ear, her lips so close as the wafting air from her mouth could be gently felt.
"Jormungand is very dear to me." She whispered. "I don't care what happens to Dollface - I'm not the Spring Demon. But if you harm Jormungand in any way, nothing will save you from the full brunt of the Sons of Sagacity. I will appeal to General RedEye to eliminate all traces of everything you hold dear." She leaned back a bit. "I hope this is a fair proposition?"
Lord Sumguy
07-11-2007, 00:22
"Yes." Zealot said, his mind racing furiously at this new information. So she is the one who has been hiding that scum. "I will do as you ask."
"I look forward to seeing the results." The Leper said with high expectations.
Lord Sumguy
07-11-2007, 00:31
"Indeed." Zealot said. "If that is all then I will take my leave."
Several blocks away, Mihael relaxed his finger from the trigger of his rifle, which had been aimed at Leper's head during the entire conversation. So it was just paranoia, same old Captain Wall.
"I'm getting tired of being aimed at." The Leper said loudly. "Do you expect me to assume that I won't be targeted? And what happens if you pull the trigger? You can't kill me at all." She spoke, mostly to herself, though perhaps a bit to whomever still lingered. "Be glad I exist, or else you'll see alot more assassins."
Unity followed Zealot. "So, what's the plan?" Unity asked.

OOC: he's several streets away, in a building, in the middle of a city. If he didnt have a sniper rifle he wouldnt be able to see her as more than a dot in the distance, so how did she detect that he was there?
IC:
"We are to convince Christina McDonald, formerly the general Jormungand, to rejoin the Sons of Sagacity. She is a student at the University of Sumguaia. The school is primarily funded by the AL, so we will have access to her schedule."

OOC: It's not a matter of whether she knows if somebody is there or not, but rather the fact that she assumes somebody is there. Being a General of the SoS puts one in a lot of danger when they go out into the open as much as the Leper does. so, she doesn't really know if there is a sniper or not, but she assumes there probably is one around, given that the other Generals likely won't let her speak as she wants and get away with it. So she's speaking out of experience of being targeted, you may say.
IC:
"And where will we go from there? Wouldn't it be easier to just show up at her house and talk to her there?" Unity asked blankly.
Lord Sumguy
07-11-2007, 02:05
"Yes, and I intend to do so, i was just stating alternatives should that not work for one reason or another, a violent reaction to my presence by her guest for example." He replied as they got into the car again. They began to head toward the University campus.
He dialed a number on his cell phone as he drove. "This is Wall. I need the address of Christina McDonald. Yes, it is AL business. I am afraid i am not at liberty to say. Thank you. Goodbye." He hung up. "I can still pull a few strings when I need to." He said, turning somewhat sharply as he altered course.
"But, aren't you a wanted man?" Unity asked.
Lord Sumguy
07-11-2007, 03:35
"No, I merely resigned and dissapeared. I have commited no crime yet, with the exeption of those criminals i killed today, which i was unnoficialy expected to do anyway as a member of the AL." He laughed, and continued. "The Holy Empire has a police force, but it is the AL which really does most of the law enforcement."
"Ah." Unity said, drawing her sword in the car, looking at the azure blade. "I have to return this sword anyways, so I guess it would be good to meet with General Jormungand."
Meanwhile, at the University, Sekai sat in the cafeteria, drawing the attention of a few female fans, his eyes looking at his lunch as he waited for the lectures to be finished. Christina was right now within engineering, and her face he last saw was one of dread and horrid portent.
Lord Sumguy
07-11-2007, 03:49
"Did she give that to you then?" Zealot asked as the car stopped in front of Christina's apartment building. He got out, looking at it. He spotted her apartment, but saw no lights on inside. "It would appear as though no one is home, perhas they are still at the University."
Unity smiled. "Yes. Do you know the name of this sword? They called it the Mhresh. Any avid sword collector would know of this sword. It's a beautiful sword that's known to be unable to cut through anything but other swords. Some say its cursed, and nobody knows how its done, but I have to return it."
Lord Sumguy
07-11-2007, 20:40
"Quite a blade, I can see why she'd want it back." Zealot said as he stepped back into the car and started it. "Well, to the campus we go then. Perhaps I should remain somewhat out of sight until we locate her, as I am somewhat conspicuous."
"Heh, I guess." Unity said. "What's the more specific plan of action to take, though?"
Lord Sumguy
07-11-2007, 21:40
"Would you be able to impersonate a student?" Zealot asked, thinking as he drove. "The university has a very large campus, and we would have little chace of finding her if we just went looking. I need you to ask around, see if anyone knows where on the campus she is."
"Alright." Unity said, stretching slightly. "I haven't impersonated anyone in a long time, but I'll see what I can find." She offered, opening the car door. "Anything I should know about first?"
Lord Sumguy
07-11-2007, 22:18
"The society of the Empire is moralistic, but not strictly so. Most citizens are devoutly Christian, with Muslims and Jews making up almost all of the remaining population. Drug use is almost unheard of, and alchohol is not widely consumed. It is perfectly legal to say most anything you want about the government, but it is frowned upon by most to speak against either Lord Sumguy or any religion. If you hear people conversing in another language besides English, it is most likely the native language of the Empire. Also, make sure you treat any member of the Abrahamic League you may encounter with respect, as the AL funds the University for the most part. That should be more than enough information, unless I have forgotten something." He sighed. "Its been nearly twenty years since i attended that school, makes me feel very old."
Unity chuckled. "Twenty years? You're too old, Captain." She was beginning to lighten up, to heartily open herself from her cloistered mindset. Standing up, she looked with a faraway stare. "Alright, I have to find General Jormungand."
Lord Sumguy
07-11-2007, 22:42
"I'm thirty six, not a geezer yet." He fished is breifcase out of the backseat and removed a small cross-shaped pin, giving it to Unity. "It has a microphone in it, in case something should happen that i need to know about. It will also help you fit in a bit better."
"Alright, thanks." She said, pinning it onto her breast, tapping it gently. "Is there an on / off button, or does it just send my voice? And how will you hear?" She asked.
Lord Sumguy
07-11-2007, 23:04
"Squeeze it, and it will turn on and a light will flash once." Zealot said, and pointed to an identical cross sewn into the end of one of his sleeves. "They contain both a speaker and a microphone, so i will be able to communicate with you as well. I will be visiting a nearby church if you should have need of me."
OOC: whoa, almost 24 pages..
"Alright." Unity said, clenching her fist in utmost self-exhilaration and excitement. "I will find her, and I will convince her to come back!" With that, she was off. It was an odd feeling for her, to stroll through the gardens and the long winding pathways of the university, the glittering of glassy windows shining down with faces swimming in all directions. She tried to stay calm, but the itchiness of the sweat already developing on her face was strong, and she frowned in slight discomfort.
Right behind her, Dollface stood, neither of them seeing the other, not knowing of the other, both of them in Zealot's line of sight.
Lord Sumguy
08-11-2007, 02:59
Zealot leaned back for a moment, then jumped upright when he saw Dollface.* He turned on the pin on his sleeve. "Her guest is behind you. Do not move yet, I am exiting the car. If he attempts to flee, try and incpacitate him." The speakers were not powerful, and the sound would not carry for more than two feet. He opened the car door, standing up and walking calmly towards Dollface. Now this is a convenient occurence.
*if he is unrecognizable, then i can edit this post
Unity continued walking, her hand lightly gripping the bottom hem of her shirt, her eyes shocked though finely veiled. Dollface. It ran through her head. Dollface. She wanted to kill him so, for his actions against her family many years ago. But on her Captain's orders, she had to be patient.
Although his disguise was uncannily effective, his smile and his voice was what truly changed. Chuckling slightly, he looked at Unity with a warm smile, before his eyes showed an icy twinkle. Sekai walked up to Unity, his hand on her shoulder. "Hello miss, but can you show me where the engineering department is?" He asked politely.
Lord Sumguy
08-11-2007, 03:31
Zealot quickened his pace, drawing a handgun as he approached Sekai from behind. "And why would you want to go to the engineering department?" he asked as he casually walked up behind the man. Why indeed? That should narrow our search a bit...
"Am I being threatened with guns now?" He asked back politely. "I heard that a man used to use bombs to kill people a while back, didn't he? What if he said something like 'shoot me, and every single bomb I set in this university will go off'? How does an upholder of the law handle that?" He smiled, his plastic grin unnerving. "I hear you have been associating yourself with some bad people, Zealot."
In the Arts department, Christina finally stood up, her eyes thick and baggy, walking down the seemingly endless stairs into the massive lounge before walking out into the brisk and strong sunlight. The basking rays flowing through her veins, she took out her cell phone as she looked through her numbers, before flipping it closed, walking towards the entrance.
Lord Sumguy

"Cowering behind your explosives again i see. Indeed, the Sons of Sagacity found my price, namely the life of my Emperor and the stability of my nation. Do not worry, you pathetic little man, killing you is not our main objective here. We wish to speak with the one who kept you from dying after your failure: Jormungand."
"Jormungand? She's been dead a long time." He spoke silently, coldly, his usual voice as Christina walked up and slapped in the back, chuckling as she stood there, smiling. Sekai regained his usual composure. "Ah, Christina. How are you?" He asked calmly. "Apparently some people don't have the manners."
Christina's eyes did not move from Unity, nor did it move towards Zealot. She knew something was going on, though she did not say anything about it. "Who are these guys, babe? Your friends?" She asked, leaning on Sekai's shoulders.
Sitting across the university, underneath the shade of a maple tree, the cobblestone pavement having his bench slightly tilted, the Lazy Dragon sat, his eyes almost quite difficult to keep open, his mouth in a perpetual frown as a woman ran up to him, a coffee in her hand as she handed it to him. "Thank you." He said courteously, paying no attention to her. She stood there, silently, as he turned his head slowly to face her. "Yes?"
"My reward?" She asked, as he sighed in return. He nodded, and she smiled brightly, turning around and walking off. As she walked off, the Lazy Dragon took out his cell phone, pressing the buttons quickly.
"A woman with copper brown hair, blue eyes and red lips. Figure identification are 56-32-66-16-43. Flower shirt." He said, his eyes still on the seen across the street at the university. The woman whom had delivered his coffee would not live to see the end of the night.
Lord Sumguy
08-11-2007, 21:52
"Oh, I wouldnt say that." Zealot said, laughing. "You may have heard of me in this nation as Captain Wall, commander of the Sumguaian Royal Guard. It was I who stopped Sekai from killing the Hegemon. The Leper has sent me to speak with you, I am sure you know why."
"Um, I'm not sure what you're talking about." She lied steadily, her eyebrows rising up in disbelief.
Lord Sumguy
08-11-2007, 22:31
"I see, I must have the wrong person then." Zealot repsonded, his expression unreadable. "In that case I think i will go visit the campus chapel. I hope we meet again soon Sekai, at a time when you can't cower behind the lives of innocents." So she doesnt want him to know her identity, interesting.
Christina stood, as Unity stood there as well, her eyes fixated upon her. "Yes?" Christina asked Unity, who only held out her sword towards her. "What is this?"
"Your sword, General." Unity stressed, his thumb on her own blade in its sheath dangling upon her waist.

"No Unity, this is not the right person, our intel was mistaken. Come, I wish to visit the campus church." Zealot said, turing to walk away.
Sekai stood, as Jormungand flicked on his forehead. "What's wrong with you?" She asked, standing up straight, before leading herself and her head upon his arm, her somewhat short self unable to arc over his shoulder. "Hey, guess what?" She asked him, as they walked.
"What?" A voice said at the front gates, a woman with a half-infected face, her left side throbbing with violet and her mouth torn into a slow frown. "What is it, Christina Macdonald?" She asked, as Jormungand smiled. Taking out her hand, she yelled to the woman behind her; Unity, who was following Zealot. "Unity, arrest, these two."
Unity, immediately, turned around and sped towards them, as Sekai dodged in front of Christina, his sleeves rolled up as he braced himself. Immediately, Unity grabbed her hand forwards, but Sekai blocked, the indentation of Unity's hard hitting fist etched as a small plateau of broken bone and flesh on the other hand of Sekai's hand. The Leper stood, watching as Christina turned around in horror.
"My dear friend, don't grow soft." She warned, as Unity swung her hang up, carrying Sekai high into the air with only one arm, her strength incredible.
Lord Sumguy
09-11-2007, 22:22
Zealot arched his eyebrows, impressed at Unity's skill. He drew his sword, walking calmly towards Jormungand as his breathing began to quicken and his eyes grew slowly bloodshot. He smiled as he watched Sekai be picked up, but did not attempt to interfere, as to do so would likely endanger both himself and Unity.
OOC: man, i had planned out a long speech that he would make in the church if Christina had taken the hint and met them there, and a way to make her go there if she didnt too...ah well, this should be just as interesting.
PS: i may not be able to post as much as usual this weekend, as i am going to be traveling.
Eight years ago, it was a quiet morning, the blood splashing upon the surface of the straw mats, the men dead, the women dead, the children and all in between, dead. Save one; a tiny girl of miniature stature, still wearing her clothes with pristine neatness, her body standing still as tears welled up in her eyes. Standing in the center of the room was a long haired, cherry coloured woman with black eyes and a pale face. She wore a regular shirt, blood seeping all over, as in her hands laid an enormous axe, twice her body length, the blade three times the side of her head.
She stood there, looking at the little girl, smiling and kneeling down before a door opened, the corpses falling onto the ground, as walked in two men; one of them a long haired, handsome silver haired doll-like figure with soulless, monotonous eyes. The other was a thin, fox-faced man with a mess of hair atop his head, a rainbow of shades as every flick of her seemed to be a different color. "General." He said, chuckling, walking in, whistling as he looked at the carnage before him. "Ya did a number on this, damn, Jormungand. You need ta trust ya army mo'. I hee ain't got lots ta do when ya gone off a'take all the jobs from 'em." He spoke in a sly, cold, and heavily accented voice.
"Who are you?" She looked at the man beside her, her axe gripping tightly.
"I am the Spring Demon. From now on, I am the leader of the Exkrucia." He said silently, monotonously, a long sword hanging at his side. "It's a pleasure to meet you, General Jormungand." He spoke courteously, his head nodding slightly.
She raised her axe near his face. "What happened to The Sieve?" She asked, as the Spring Demon closed his eyes. Immediately, he slashed, his blade unnoticed, his movements so fast it was barely enough time for Jormungand to lift her weapon in defense. Gritting her teeth, she pushed back before he stabbed, allowing her to easily dodge. However, immediately, he was only a hair's width away from the tiny girl that remained, forcing Jormungand to dip and push her out of the way, the stab smashing her axe into pieces.
"Oh? Ain't tha a little fucker, ain'cha say so?" The Fox Lord said, as the Spring Demon watch as Jormungand fled out of the building through the shadows. "Lettin's a victim live when she shoulda dun the whole job. Can't trust her no more." The Fox Lord turned, and the Spring Demon followed.
"Though she is fast." The Spring Demon said, feeling his top lip, as a cut was felt, blood running smoothly. It stung a bit, but he could handle it. "I didn't even notice it."
"Ain't she? A damn strong bitch, eh?" The Fox Lord laughed.
It was causing a bit of a scene, with a man sitting there, his eyes concentrating on the incident, the Leper standing there, her arms crossed as Sekai was smashed into the concrete pavement, a shard of his fake glasses cutting deep into his left eye, before Unity picked him up with a single arm with inhuman ease, rising him up high before not long smashing him down again. Christina was torn; if she acted, she would give her identity away. If she didn't, the man she loved would be likely killed by the ruthlessness Unity portrayed.
Getting up, the Lazy Dragon turned as a limousine stopped, the door opening as he walked into his limo, closing the door as it sped off. Sitting in his car, he closed his eyes, thinking to himself, sighing. "Looks like more of a hassle than I thought. I don't know why the Spring Demon doesn't agree to just killing off Jormungand. She can be replaced." He spoke to himself.
Meanwhile, Sekai got up, his back arcing forwards, his face smashed apart, his eyes barely capable of seeing anything as blood dripped out of his nostrils, his lips cut and his face showing a massive gash upon it. Taking up his stance, he braced himself, as Unity charged, slashing with her hand, the side of her hand smashing into his side, his ribs cracking into thin shards as he flew over to the nearby concrete wall, a splash of blood revealing his trail of movement. Trying to get up, he coughed up blood before not long Unity charged again.
"A long time since you've seen Unity, haven't you, Jormungand?" The Leper asked. "You know, when you left, she was hurt. To her, this man is nothing more than a hindrance to prevent you from returning."
Lord Sumguy
10-11-2007, 02:13
"A hindrance? Perhaps not." Zealot said, stading several feet from Jormungand. "I, a man who despised and and hated this organization and everything it stood for, joined readily enough to save that which i love. As much as I hate to say it, perhaps Sekai need not die today. I suggest you make your choice quickly, I doubt he will last much longer."
Sekai continued to get up, his body a jumbling mess, though he stood strong, his arms raised as blood spurted from his body. The Leper smiled. "If he was so weak, his brother would have killed him a long time ago. It's not that easy to take down Dollface. He has uncanny endurance and will to live." She said, smiling. Jormungand turned to Zealot.
"You hate the Sons of Sagacity as well?" She smiled in her question. "Looks like we're two alike." She chuckled slightly, before raising her hand in surrender. She spoke with a powerful, overwhelming, charismatic voice this time, one without wavering thoughts or opinions, but of a strong, unbreakable conviction. "Leper, I will submit to my renewed entrance to the Eight." She said, closing her eyes. "Please, vice-Captain Unity, do not harm him any more." She said.
Clapping came from across the street, as a mini-army of medics rushed to the scene, flowing out of a small black car that jumbled him up, putting him in an odd, plastic-like container, and rushed him off down the street. From the clapping hands, came a tall, young man with a wide, brimming smile. He had a moderate build - he was not a plate of muscles, but he carried a powerful, lean body without a doubt. He was dressed casually, without any difference amongst him, but hidden within black wraps was a long, disguised sword. Walking over to them, he looked at Zealot, his hand out. "Captain Zealot, I presume?"
Lord Sumguy
10-11-2007, 19:13
"Indeed." Zealot replied, shaking the man's offered hand. "Please forgive my ignorance, but I am not as knowledgable of your identity as you are of mine."
"No need for the formality." He chuckled, slapping Zealot on the back, chuckling. "We're the same rank. I'm the 2nd Division, 2 department Captain and Strike Team leader, Fireblood." He smiled, before looking at Unity. "Haven't gotten your promotion yet, Unity?" He asked, as Unity frowned. "You're too unstable, that's why."
"What are you doing here?" She asked, as the man chuckled.
"I need to talk to Zealot here in private. On orders from the Lazy Dragon." He said briefly.
Lord Sumguy
10-11-2007, 20:22
"Very well, I am willing to speak in private. Lead the way." And what on earth can this be about?
"Let me be frank; I don't care about the well state of people and their livelihoods. In fact, I'm a supporter of the elimination of the weak to further fuel the strong." He spoke with a frank, brutally honest tone. "However," he continued, walking, "a job is a job. Recently our movements in Saileus was successful, so now with the broken infrastructure in the city, we're going to be mobilizing. To be frank, your people and your government has won a victory against us." He smiled, the leaves falling into his hands.
"The Generals are on the move. We congratulate you on pushing our efforts to focus on the regaining and elimination of Dollface. However, a strike force mobilized by the Lazy Dragon is going to for one last attack. You will be part of that strike team. And so will Dollface and I."
Lord Sumguy
11-11-2007, 01:25
"I see, and what will this strike force be attacking?" Zealot asked, mildly suspicious.
This will include 2nd department 5th division vice-captain, 2nd department 8th division vice captain, 1st department 7th division vice captain, 3rd division 8th and 9th squadron, and me." He summarized it.
Lord Sumguy

"I see, although i am afraid you misunderstood me. I was asking who we would be attacking and what our objective would be."
"I thought it would be obvious. Your former employer." He replied.
Lord Sumguy
11-11-2007, 17:41
"I joined the Sons of Sagacity on the sole condition that the Hegemon and his family would not be harmed." Zealot replied, anger visible on his face. "I will die before i allow an attack upon them." He laughed. "It would fail even if you had my help, the Royal Guard is far more than a match for your little strike force. Even if ou did somehow defeat hundreds of the best soldiers within the Empire, there would still be the Wrath of God to face, as well as most of the AL forces within this city. You think the Hegemon doesn't know of this organization? That he hasnt been preparing for just such an attack?"
OOC: will Jormungand continue to attend that school? I need to know for what im planning.
"We had believed that the Spring Demon's orders to lay down our goals against them sufficed, but it seems that the Lazy Dragon has gotten support from the Medium to veto that decision. As for the competency of the your country's defensive force, that will be dealt with appropriately. Size matters little. Nuclear capability matters all." He summarized. "The Sons of Sagacity is an indestructible organization. It cannot be harmed, killed or deterred. It won't be soon before warheads detonate in downtown streets. The only one who can veto this decision is either Jormungand or RedEye himself."
He smiled wider. "Are you going to betray us, Zealot? Because even if the Fox Lord finds some use for you, you're nothing more than a hindrance to the Lazy Dragon. However, let me tell you something you might find interesting. I came from a country called the Generic Empire. It was a powerful behemoth of a nation in its time, and I picked up the skills of it. I have a few kids and a little friends." He tapped on the tiny bug-shaped pendant on his shirt.
It soon became obvious; nobody really wanted to set up an entire nation in flames, to detonate nuclear devices into blasts of acrid radiation; but they were being monitored, and he had to play along to not arouse suspicion. Play along. The man thought, tapping his pendant gently, hoping that Zealot would understand the hint.
OOC: Yes.
Lord Sumguy
12-11-2007, 05:42
Zealot was silent for a moment, noticing the man's tapping of the pendant and in turn fidgeting with the small cross on his sleeve, a tiny light flashing twice on it, unnoticable in the sunlight. "Very well, the lesser of two evils then, I shall join this 'strike force'."
OOC: im still slightly confused, maybe ill understand it better once i get some sleep.
"We'll need to continued." He said, smiling brightly. "I will reach you in - " Immediately, a phone rang from the captain's uniform, as he pulled it out, flipping it open as he held it close to his ear. "Yes, he's here." He gave the phone to Zealot. "General Spring Demon."
OOC: The man is bugged. The divisions he has stated are those who are against the nuclear bombing of the Hegemon. As a cruel irony, the Lazy Dragon designates those divisions to do it.
Lord Sumguy
12-11-2007, 13:51
OOC: I see, i was correct then.
IC: "This is Captain Zealot." he said, putting the phone to his ear.
It was the Spring Demon. Though he didn't sound elegant, cold or piercing as he usually did. He did not sound like a wondrous god or an elegant demon as he always seemed to portray himself through his beautiful voice; this time, he sounded weary, weak, and tired. He sounded human. "The procedures are being watched over carefully. I apologize for being unable to keep my promise. I will do whatever is in my power to make sure that this will postponed until the Lazy Dragon can be properly subdued." He sighed. "How is the situation with General Jormungand?"
Lord Sumguy
13-11-2007, 05:49
"She has agreed to rejoin, on my suggestion that Dollface be spared from death."
"Alright. I need you guys to have her ready and suited up in preparation for the last move."
Lord Sumguy
13-11-2007, 23:12
"Very well, I will do as you command. Is that all, sir?" Zealot said, slipping into the role of a soldier speaking to his commander, a habit left over from his military days.
"Oh, a last little bit of information that I was able to get. The Lazy Dragon is on the move, so be careful of a man with absurdly long and messy hair. He may or may not decide to attack, but he's a front man who isn't scared to duke it out in the open." Long gone was his accent, but he still retained his voice. "Though I believe he won't bother, this is a precaution for the just-in-case. General Jormungand should serve as a good rallying point for any questions if you have any queries left unanswered."
Lord Sumguy
14-11-2007, 04:09
"I see. I thank you for the information." Zealot said, and hung up. He turned back to Fireblood. "You were saying?"
"I'll reach you tomorrow when I my men have arrived into this country. Have you mobilized your army yet?" He asked in return.
Lord Sumguy
14-11-2007, 12:40
"Yes. They are to arrive tonight."
"Alright, I guess I will contact you later." He said, smiling brightly as he usually did, before turning around and walking off.
Lord Sumguy
14-11-2007, 22:17
Zealot walked back to where Unity, Jormungand, and the Leper were. "Unity, where did you instruct my army to assemble?"
"The Central Park." Unity said, as the Leper turned around, walking off. "The Generals are leaving this country, so it's just General Jormungand left here." She eyed Jormungand, who looked back with a slightly blank look.
Lord Sumguy
15-11-2007, 00:06
"I see. Myself and my division are at your disposal, General Jormungand." Zealot said, waiting for the Leper to leave.
She wrapped her arm around his shoulder. Although her frame was somewhat slender and small, it was able to swing around without much trouble, leaning on his shoulder as she looked up at the sky. "The clock says it's too early to do anything worthwhile. Do you want to get a drink?" She asked.
Lord Sumguy
15-11-2007, 12:44
"I would not be adverse to that, ma'am." Zealot said, looking sincere with great effort. Not the best cover she could have chosen, as i don't drink, but it will do.
"Good, good." She said, smiling. "Captain Zealot, huh? You know, I had to write a paper on you in high school, Mr. Wall. I failed that paper." She chuckled, walking down the pavement. "Though, not too fond of the Sons of Sagacity?"
Lord Sumguy
16-11-2007, 04:02
"I am afraid not. I despise the organization, both it's goals of destruction and chaos as well as the evil it commits to acheive such ends." He replied, wincing slightly as she lifted the pressure off of his shoulder, where he had received a bullet wound earlier that day. "I must serve it though, to protect the Hegemon's life and the stability of this nation." He paused for a moment. "My reasons behind my hatred of the Sons of Sagacity are based entirely upon my moral beleifs, why do you object to it's existence?"
"You know, alot of people ask me that." She said, being her usual goofy, unpredictable self. "Hmm, let me think." She frowned heavily, as if in great mental pain. "A classic tale of blackmail would be the proper scenario, I think."
Lord Sumguy
16-11-2007, 04:17
"I can relate to that." Zealot said. "How were you blackmailed?"
"My family wasn't good financially, and I was born into a terrible part of the world, like most tragic heroines are now." She chuckled, her story carrying a beat of its own. "When I was young, my parents left me one day to escape creditors. They hoped that the loan sharks would take me and forget about them. I didn't what to do, like most seven year old girls didn't." She yawned. "Long story short, the Sons of Sagacity took me in instead. I was immediately placed under the care of your boss, the Fox Lord. He taught me how to survive, how to live, how to act, and, in the end, how to kill."
Lord Sumguy
16-11-2007, 04:39
"I can see how that could breed resentment." Zealot said, nodding. "You are no doubt familiar with the Abrahamic League, but have you ever heard of the Wrath of God?"
"What, like some sort of divine wrath? Like a bolt of lightning the shape of a fist or something?" She asked. "Because I don't otherwise."
Lord Sumguy
16-11-2007, 04:53
"Not exactly. The Wrath of God is a small group of men within the Abrahamic League. It numbers at forty, with the greatest and most skilled fighters of the AL as members. They are a sort of antithesis to the Sons of Sagacity, though much smaller. They have been called to Sumguaia in response to my joining the Sons of Sagacity, and the first are arriving tonight. If you really hate the Sons of Sagacity, they will be more than willing to assist you in any way they can." He loked around again. "What bar did you have in mind?"
"Stebby's?" She asked. "It's a bit shabby of a bar, though I know the bartender and I always get a discount on the alcohol there." She chuckled, her arms stretched high. "How about it?"
Lord Sumguy
16-11-2007, 05:04
"Very well, although I hope you realize that I don't drink. One moment." Zealot flipped open his phone, calling a number. "You and Saul need to be at Stebby's bar as soon as possible. No, we are not hunting a murderer. Alright. That will do, goodbye." He turned back to Jormungand: "A couple...colleagues of mine. They will be interested to meet you and discuss your future relations with the AL."
She yawned loudly. "I need my morning coffee." She complained, large bags swelling under her eyes. "Well, nothing a little alcohol can't fix." She said, and so she was off. It was not a long trek; only a few minutes, being so close to the university, as the door clanged loudly as she walked it. It was much better than she had made it out to be.
A soft blend of mahogany and burgundy wooden floors and wallpaper gave a splash of easy, appealing brown shades that bordered on tan, the railings deep oak and the gloss impeccable. The seats were low-quality cushion upon pine standings, with the tables being made of glassy plastic that carried intricate edges without sharp ends. At the front, the bar was a long slab of wood with a multitude of glasses, pouring taps giving it a fairly old-fashioned feel. Walking up to the bartender; a man who fit the every description of a bartender - a medium sized, well clothed man with a neatly trimmed beard and silvery eyes, smiling and high fiving Jormungand as she walked up to him. "Rum as usual?"
"Heavy cane, please." She said, as the bartender chuckled, eying Zealot with interest. She gave thumbs up, smiling. "My boyfriend." She said, as the bartender clapped in response.
"I'll get something special." He said, walking to the back. Turning to Zealot, Jormungand smiled.
"If I was caught talking to a man other than who is supposed to be my significant other, there would be quite a bit of rumors floating about. So don't worry about it."
Lord Sumguy
16-11-2007, 05:29
"I see." Zealot said. "So, what are you plans? I hope you don't intend to allow the attack upon the Lord Sumguy to happen." As he spoke, a man dressed in red and white walked into the bar, sitting down at one of the tables.
"Nah, I'm not going to let that happen. Though," She pointed at him, "to clear things up, I am doing this to make sure that the Lazy Dragon doesn't get what he wants." She drunk down a glass, a frown on her face. "I want that little brat to understand that he can't dick around and expect to not get burned."
Lord Sumguy
16-11-2007, 22:32
"I see." Zealot said. Just then the door opened again, and a tall man wearing a preist's outfit walked in carrying a huge steel cross with a wooden handle. He walked to the bar and sat down next to Zealot, taking the glass of rum that the Captain had yet to touch and drinking it.
Zealot looked slightly amused. "Did you have to bring that with you? A bit conspicuous, don't you think?"
"I carry it with me everywhere, you know that. These folks will think im just another AL missionary." The man replied, looking at Zealot. "You've gotten bigger."
"It has been more than ten years." The captain replied, chuckling. "Ah, where are my manners?" He continued, turing to Jormungand. "This is the Reverend Thomas Shmidt. Tom, this is Christina McDonald."
"A pleasure." Rev. Shmidt said, extending his hand.
She shook his hand firmly and vigorously, with life. "Christina McDonald." She said, smiling. "You can call me Christie for short."
Lord Sumguy
17-11-2007, 00:01
"Very well then Christie." Rev. Shmidt said, pouring himself another glass. "What can the Wrath of God do for you?"
"I know absolutely about you guys, nor do I think I even need your assistance." She replied with brutal honesty. "So, I think it might be better to ask Zealot."
Lord Sumguy
17-11-2007, 20:13
"Well, I agree with you, you dont absolutely need our assistance, you might be able to succeed without us. However, we would make it far easier, especially considering that in the conflict you are about to engage in with the Lazy Dragon, it will be the quality, not quantity, of those under your command that counts. Having us helping you grants several advantages man-for-man over your average Sons of Sagacity member." Zealot replied. "Firstly, we know the land and the city, and can move freely about it with the cooperation and in some cases aid of the populous and government. Secondly, we do not work for our own self interest, as many in the Sons of Sagacity do, so our loyalty can be relied upon more should we choose to assist you. Thirdly, each of us is a match for any captain within the SoS. Am I missing anything?" He asked, turning to Rev. Shmidt.
"Death. We do not fear death, and would give our lives without hesitation should the need arise." The Preist said, and drank another glass of rum. "We are also experienced in functioning...out of the public eye in this nation, myself having done this sort of thing for nearly twenty years, and that may prove valuable."
"That puts up a very good argument." She noted thoughtfully. "I guess that could speed things up a bit. Though, how many can be committed, and for a war that you don't have anything to do with in the first place?" She asked them back.
Lord Sumguy
18-11-2007, 05:17
"I dont think we'd need more than five or six for this." Zealot said, as the Reverend nodded and replied: "I'd say you, myself, Michael, Jacob, and Al-Omari should do it. Any more might be overkill, as most fighting will be inividual. As an answer to your question Christina, we beleive that the best way to serve our nation and humanity at this point would be to aid you in this conflict, as you seen to be somewhat less malicious than your opponent."
She had a faraway, glazed look on her face, almost as if she didn't hear much of it. "The enemy is a man who broke my friend through and through." She spoke with a dangerous, bloodthirsty tone. "Are you aware of our enemy?"
Lord Sumguy
18-11-2007, 20:43
"Only that he is some murderous nut known as the Lazy Dragon who is organizing an attack upon the Hegemon. The Captain didnt give us any more information than that." Rev. Shmidt said, looking accusingly at Zealot.
"I'm afraid i don't know much more than that myself, other than that he is a general within the Sons of Sagacity." Zealot replied. "Would you be able to enlighten us, General Jormungand?"
"The Lazy Dragon is a blunt man. He will almost never reply with fear tactics, propaganda or any sort of lies to reach his goals. He's a cruel, distasteful individual, though he doesn't fall into the trap of arrogance."
Lord Sumguy
18-11-2007, 21:54
"I see. What would you have us do to counter this foe?" Rev. Shmidt said, as the man wearing red and white walked to the bar and sat down next to him. "Who on earth are..." The Preist began, then stopped as he slowly realized who was in front of him. "You know Michael, it is very hard for me to recognize you when you keep making yourself look like completely different people."
"Well, that's the point, isn't it?" the Sgt. said, laughing. "Need to keep in practice, espionage isn't nearly as easy as it looks." he continued, holding up Rev. Shmidt's wallet, who took it, mild shock and annoyance at his wallet having just been taken without him noticing showing on his face.
"We wait." Jormungand summarized. "The Lazy Dragon is exactly what his name entails: lazy. We'll cause him to go insane, and force him to make the first move."
Lord Sumguy
19-11-2007, 12:26
"Very well, we will wait." The Reverend said, stretching. "If you need to contact us, do so through the Captain. Are we finished here then?"
"We're done here." Jormungand said, stretching herself. She yawned loudly, before taking another swig of alcohol into her hands. "When do you think he'll strike?" She asked Zealot.
Lord Sumguy
19-11-2007, 22:10
"Probably at some point when the Hegemon and his family are all in one place, if he's as cruel as you say. I think Michael may be able to help decrease the time that it takes to force his move."
"How will that be done?" She asked curiously.
Lord Sumguy
20-11-2007, 00:43
"I'm a marksman." The Sgt. said, turning to Jormungand. Rev. Shmidt snorted into a drink. "Is that all you can say about yourself? You can shoot a gun better than anyone in the Empire!"
"That is an exxageration, and besides the point." Michael said, continuing: "Would it not be somewhat irritating to this Lazy Dragon if some of his subordinates were...incapacitated by sniper rounds at random intervals?"
"How do you propose we find out his supporters? It could be any trash scumbag that lives in this country." She said.
Lord Sumguy
20-11-2007, 22:16
"I was hoping you would have the answer to that." Michael said, shrugging. "If there is no way to locate them, then I will wait as well." The three men got up to leave, Zealot and Rev. Shmidt heading towards Central Park while Michael slipped down an alley behind the bar.
At the park, a large gang of men had gathered, their eyes meeting the three. They snickered and smiled widely, grimly, sadistically, Jormungand frowning at the lot, numbering the low hundreds. "The Lazy Dragon must be impatient indeed, and to send low level rabble." She boomed her voice. "Are you children of the Red eyes?" She asked, a coded message to determine whether they were members of the Sons of Sagacity. They only returned a confused look. "So, they're just junk. He's sending us junk. He really underestimates us." Her fist tightened.
From the crowds, a single figure walked forwards, his hair messy and long, his eyes thin like fox eyes, his mouth a large, knife-like slant in amusement. He wore a set of long, flowing robes, slightly dirtied at the bottom by the flowing dust that flew in the wind, though he paid no attention. Tied to his back was an absurdly long blade, 4 meters, from the looks of it. He smiled, a black tattoo on his left eye of a snaking black serpent. "What's the meaning of this, General Jormungand?" He asked politely, smiling his fake and plastic smile.
Jormungand frowned. "My apologies, General Jormungand." She replied.
Lord Sumguy
21-11-2007, 22:45
Zealot stopped, looking confused for a moment, then chuckled. "Ah, your replacement. Why bring a mob along though?"
"The Lazy Dragon has relayed that he wants you eliminated." The current Jormungand sat down quickly on the park bench. "So, what's going to go on now? I hear that you're unable to put the pieces together unless you've the approval of the Fox Lord. I hear Dollface can convince his brother to look the other way, but what about you?"
"What do you mean?" Christina asked back sharply.
"These men are here because they've been hired here. Additionally," He stood up, stretching. "They're getting paid for your blood." Immediately, the men prepared themselves. "I'm not against you guys, but I'm not here to help. I'm just here to watch."
Lord Sumguy
23-11-2007, 01:53
"Oh dear, now i will have to get my clothes washed." said Zealot, drawing his sword. "At least they are all petty thugs, to slaughter them will be a public service."
Rev. Shmidt laughed, looking at the crowd before them. "...not so the wicked, for they shall be as chaff before the wind." He walked forward five paces and stopped, standing motionless, waiting.
"For old time's sake?" He asked, the current Jormungand standing up, stretching. Christina frowned menacingly, her eyes fixated on the absurdly long sword hanging tied to his back. Immediately, his slung his hand back, conjuring up a sword wrapped in cheap linen as he threw it to her. "This'll be fair now." He said, smiling. Christina unwrapped it.
"W-What?!" She said in disbelief amidst the chaos, looking at Jormungand. "How, where?!" She continued, flabbergasted. He only chuckled back.
"Red Eye found it when he was taking a look through the remains of Hogsweat a while back. He said to me, 'I really want to see you two duke it out one day'." He pointed to a camera on the pole nearby. "So, we have to put on a good show." He grabbed long sword, raising it up, handling it deftly like some sort of brandished spear.
Christina hadn't held a sword for a while, and what once remained of her indomitable capability had diminished into nothing more than slightly above average power. Still, she prepared herself.
Meanwhile, there was a monster of a fighter hidden within the rabble of thugs. Of the bloodthirsty Sekrecka, the fifth Senbo was ready, his sword brandished under woolen cloth, and immediately, he prepared himself, ready to strike, his sword giving off a wondrous ring. His name was simple: The Cannibal.
Lord Sumguy
23-11-2007, 17:24
Zealot and Rev. Shmidt walked slowly towards the mob, the former expressionless, the latter somewhat amused by the rabble before him. "Well?" the Rev. said as they walked, "Are you all just going to stand there?"
The gangs rushed. Within this spray of men, Cannibal unleashed his short sword, aiming at Zealot with a furious temper, his smile twisted and turned.
Meanwhile, Jormungand was fighting off against Christina with utmost skill. Although she herself had not fought in a while, to have squared against a General was still a feat thought impossible within the Sons of Sagacity. Immediately, Christina slashed powerfully against his sword, almost like an extension of his long steely finger. It pushed her back a few bits, before she shoved it around, turning quickly before another smash came at her hilt.
Instantly, Christina's battle instincts flared up, her blade running along the edge of the enemy's, General Jormungand pushing his sword up in a furious flurry with incredible speed, pushing her high into the air as he waited before jumping. At her height, his arms were high, and he swung, the blade crashing down upon her sword as she landed on her feet, her back concaving against the unbearable force. Immediately, he leaped away, rushing towards her, immediately jumping in mid-step (once thought impossible) with incredible tenacity and skill, Christina caught unaware but she immediately braced herself for impact. Standing strong against the relentless speed and superhuman strength of the current Jormungand, Christina slung up once again, unable to land a hit on him, and he on her. They were at a stalemate. In terms of offense, he was superior; in terms of defense, she was superior. In terms of technique, they were similar.
Immediately, they continued; a flurry of strikes by Christina immediately set Jormungand on the defensive, but as she took her final stroke he spun around with centrifugal force, her head touching the ground as the ends of her hair were sheared off neatly in the swift slash. Grappling the ground, her rose up and smashed a fist against Jormungand, but it was easily blocked. Once more, they tied, unable to break each other's defenses. "I expect nothing less from a General." He said, smiling, as Jormungand frowned. "Lighten up, Jormungand."
"General, if you are going to interfere, I must make sure you can't anymore." She spoke seriously, before a tiny clapping was heard from the park's benches. Sitting nicely, a patch covering one eye, her hair long and wavy with curls running down at certain parts, she smiled, much like the current Jormungand did. Christina frowned, unaware of who she was, but immediately, the woman disappeared, and in a flash, punched Christina's stomach with unbelievable force.
She staggered back, looking at the woman who seemed to have just arrived. "Who the fuck are you?" Christina asked, frowning, as the woman cutely chuckled.
"You shouldn't frown like that, former General Jormungand. It'll crinkle your face, and then your boyfriend won't like you." She said, ready for it again, but a slab of steel blocked her fist.
"Please don't paint me as shallow." The familiar voice said, as Sekai emerged from the other end of the park, his sheathed sword on a long chain as he called it back with a tug of his wrist. "It looks like you for, Christina, I'll have to take this woman on." He said, looking at the woman. "Who are you?"
"Sadauck." She replied briefly. Christina returned her sights to the current Jormungand.

Rev. Shmidt stood his ground, waiting until the first man reached him to swing his cross, cleaving his first victim apart. He did not stop at this but continued swinging, his strikes becoming faster as he encountered each new enemy.*
Zealot's blade swept up to block that of the Cannibal, it's owner smiling as he saw the source of the attack upon him. "So he didn't underestimate us as much as I'd hoped." He said, laughing as he parried the blow and stepped backward to counter with a heavy horizontal slash. He noted with suprised approval the appearence of Sekai. So he isn't entirely selfish or evil, killing him wil be less of a priority then.
*OOC: he is using the same momentum-based fighting style that Zealot uses. Shmidt however focuses more on speed and accuracy than power. Sorry for the short post, I may revise it once i get some sleep.
Christina felt the full brunt of the enemy swing, as General Jormungand did not slash and pull back - instead, he pushed and pushed and pushed, and no matter how tiny that frame of a body he carried was, it continued to put Christina on less favorable grounds. So impressive was the current Jormungand's display of brute strength, that even Christina's arm began to give out, bending unreasonably under the immense pressure. She held it steady, before pulling back and quickly dodging the fast sword, leaving Jormungand open. Instantly, she launched her sword for a quick thrust, but of all attacks, it was immediately blocked. "Damn, you're strong." She complained loudly, as the man smiled back.
"You're not taking me seriously, are you?" He asked. "That's not nice." He pusehd further, not a single drop of sweat falling from his head.
"I'm taking you seriously. Looks like I've gotten rusty." She frowned, continuing to hold.
Sekai fared quite well against Sadauck. Her swift attacks were instantly a dangerous opponent, but he himself had an unmatched speed that rivaled hers, his sword allowing him to overpower her eventually. Instantly, a flash of knives danced from her dress, long blades ejected in a spider-web fashion as they glided through the air, the cold metallic feeling still lingering. Block the first bit, then dodging the second, he charged immediately as his scabbard swung down with impetuous fervor. She blocked quickly with her gauntlet. "You Sakrianda are so incompetent. Why the hell's the leader one of you trash?"
"If you have a problem, take it up with your General." Sekai replied back calmly. "Because my finger might slip on a detonator one day."
"In the name of the Lazy Dragon, I must have your head." The Cannibal spoke politely. "I bear no ill will against you, but for the sake of spreading the ideals of chaotic evolution, I must see that those who pose a direct threat to my General will be eliminated without hesitation." He had a theatrical tone to his voice, and it ebbed and flourished at parts to give it extra drama and emphasis. "Please surrender."
Lord Sumguy
26-11-2007, 22:24
"A direct threat to a General? You flatter me." Zealot replied, smiling. "I'm not much for chaos though, so I will have to respectfully decline your request." He stood, waiting for an attack.
OOC: what time is it? it seems to have been a very long day...
He did not charge. Although many loved to take the initiative in a fight, he did not, and only held his ground. He was skilled countering and defending against opponents, and he waited silently, carefully, without fault.
Christina swung down, her sword pushing heavily against the Jormungand, her teeth clenched tightly as she pushed further and further, her blade feeling the stress as it began to cut down into even the enemy's sword. Jormungand immediately ran his blade through, swinging it back like a whip before slashing down once more.
Sekai, on the other hand, was gripping his sword. "I'll get rid of you immediately." He said, unsheathing his blade, the usual rusty, smelly, chipped but incredibly dangerous sword shining in the dim streetlights. "Those that don't wish to die so horribly, move away." He warned to those around him.

Zealot stood for a couple of moments, tapping his foot to some unheard beat. The tampo in creased, as his eyes slowly became bloodshot. suddenly he charged foward, his sword a blur as it swung around to strike the Cannibal with crushing force. He was still several feet from his opponent, meaning to use the difference in weapon length to it's full potential.
Force was met with force, and only powerful men existed within the leagues of the heartless army of the Lazy Dragon. Swinging against the enemy's swing, the Cannibal held his ground firmly, unwilling to move, a deep stone knife that was adamant in keeping his position. Pushing forwards, he did not even parry the blow, but continued to hold onto it.
Lord Sumguy
28-11-2007, 20:20
"Stronger than I expected. Good, I like a challenge." Zealot said, speaking almost too quickly for comprehension.* He struck again witha sereis of quick and light blows, trying to find a hole in his opponent's guard, as mere power would not be enough.
*OOC: his entire body is functioning faster than normal
Moving back rather than bracing the attacks, the Cannibal opted to simply crawl back at a steadier rate instead of attacking head on or defending the multitudes of strikes that came towards him. It saved him time and didn't require the need to gamble his defenses against such swift strikes. He merely bided his time, before one of the swings came down, where he immediately blocked it with all his might, his legs locking into position.
From the short distance, the clashing of swords were heard, but more disgustingly, a horrid stench, a terrible stench that made the air terrible. At Sekai's fight, Sadauck was on her knees, blood spraying from her mouth, running down her legs what seemed to be blood, and most disturbingly, a mahogany-colored liquid that was smelling terribly. Sekai stood there, watching her, his eyes emotionless, his stare cold and without mercy. On Christina's side, Jormungand swung down, and immediately lifted himself up, kicking her in the shoulder as a crack was audible, her hand locking up as she fell onto the ground.
Trying to get up, she was unable to move her hand, using her sword to carry her up, Jormungand standing there, smiling. "Looks like I finally got a hit him." He smiled, looking at her suffering, only silent, like a statue.

Zealot smiled as the Cannibal blocked, and stepped closer, his sword sliding along that of his foe. As he did so, he seemed to trip and stumble, apparently vulnerable to attack for a moment.
The Cannibal held his sword up, directing the enemy thrust vertically rather than horizontally towards him. He strengthened his position, his legs deep into the ground as he held his position, his eyes beginning to glaze over into some sort of automatic pose. Pushing back, his strength began to grow immensely to an inhuman capability.
Meanwhile, Sekai turned to the current Jormungand, his sword brandished as the General smiled back, blocking magnificently with a single arm, standing straight. "You have a good sword hand, you're fast, and you're no novice." He complimented Sekai, before flicking his wrist, sending the blade jolting up as Sekai was lifted off the ground, then kicked squarely in the jaw, his body flying into the ground. "But you lack striking power." He noted. "When fighting, you need little power to cut, but when your enemy is also armed, it boils down to direction, strength, and defense. You have two of them, but you lack strength." He held it in a horizontal thrust, his long blade only a few centimeters away from Sekai at its farthest tip, leaning slightly down by the heavy weight of the sword's blade.
Sekai got up, clean, bloodless, without wounds. He charged.

Zealot pushed back, and the two combatants came to a standstill as he pushed his foe's weapon to the right. Suddenly he released the pressure on his opponent's weapon, spinning around and mustering all of his strength to perform a heavy slash on the Cannibal's other side.
OOC: man, it is very difficult to accurately describe how he is fighting. They are probably going to be in a stalemate if things go the way they have been until the Cannibal goes on the offensive.
Normally, one would have been unable to have reacted quick enough to have defended, but he seemed to have reacted quick enough to have not been cut in half. Although some of Zealot's edge did sink into his skin, blood trickling out gently, the Cannibal's blade was swift enough to defend him from it puncturing his stomach or smashing his ribs. How he held his sword, however, was odd, pointed downwards towards his feet with his left hand hovering above his handle. "I had researched your swing against Dollface in your first confrontation. I made sure not to be caught off guard with such an attack." He spoke formally.
General Jormungand smiled, standing there, watching the two as the brawl began to come to close, with Christina on the ground, her shoulder searing pain, dislocated and broken, Sekai unable to move with his left smashed leg.

Zealot looked over at Sekai and the two Jormungands, and his brow furrowed. "Unfortunately I don't have time for this any longer, it seems i am needed elswhere." He said casually. He blinked, seemingly arbitrarily, and behind the two Rev. Shmidt, now covered in the blood of hired thugs, nodded and ran forward to swing his cross at the Cannibal's back. At the very same moment Zealot swung again, his foe could not block both strikes at once.
Smashed between the two, Cannibal's sword dug deep into his skull as his blood sprayed out violently through his head. His body flailed for a little bit, his arms still grasping his sword, his head unrecognizable, his hands giving out before they finally crumbled apart. Still, his body quivered and shook, but it finally gave out. Jormungand stood there, smiling and clapping in impression as Christina was on the ground, her shoulder shattered, and Sekai was near her, his leg shattered.
"As expected from one of the Rekrixua Captains." He clapped. "That Kebbobruxua man was no match." He smiled. "The Lazy Dragon sure is incapable of picking strong guys, isn't he?"

"Keep your commentary to yourself, please." Zealot said, as the two began walking towards Sekai and Christina. "Are you going to attack us, or may I tend to their injuries?"
The Reverend opened his cell phone, looked at a message on the screen, and closed it again. "Al-Omari* will be here momentarily, Smith is a few minutes away."
*OOC: There is a man on the AL high council also named Al-Omari, they are brothers.
"Go ahead." He turned, smiling. "There is no need for me to continue fighting when I have already proven that the former General Jormungand has been slacking in her ability. I guess I was right to have taught her her place." He began to walk, before stopping. "Although I don't really like you, or your General, Cap'n Zealot," There was a hateful, though sadistic tone in his voice, "You need to watch out for yourself. Because there is another General in this country besides me, and she ain't gonna be no fair fighter."

"As if I care what kind of odds I'm up against at this point..." Zealot said to himself as he kneeled down to examine Sekai's leg. "I need the scabbard to your sword. Will you be able to stand the pain of me moving your leg, or should I knock you out first?" Rev. Shmidt walked over to Christina and offered his hand to help her up.
Meanwhile, a man carrying a pair of long machetes walked into the area, and sheathed them, looking dissapointed as he saw the lack of activity. He approached Zealot and the Reverend. "Sorry I missed the fight, quite a mess you lot have made."
Christina got up, pulling herself up with he tug on the Reverend's arm, slinging into fashion as she dusted herself, slightly poking the throbbing purple shoulder that was her arm. "I need to get this fix immediately." She said, looking around. "Does anyone have a cell phone so I can call an ambulance?" It seemed as if she didn't really take her injury seriously, but quickly rushed over to Sekai, where she softly laid her hand atop his head.
She smiled gently as her eyes met his. "Hey, are you alright?" She asked, grinning brightly and speaking deftly, almost like a gentle whisper as she ran her fingers through his hair. It was silent for such a moment, an invisible string of co-operation and expression between the two that was such a wonderful thing, a blissful and idyllic feeling. She only looked at him, and he looked back, smiling back.
"Just help with the leg." Sekai told Zealot, apparently not seeming to be phased by the injury in his leg at all, steadily gaining an azure hue. "We don't have much time." He said.
"Goddamn right you don't have much time." A familiar bolted, the clattering of feet and the shuffling of legs allowing the noise to reveal a series of men and women, emerging as a steady stream in militia-like fashion, trickling into the park where they were. Men and women, from all different sorts of fashion, nationalities and style, all walked in, though they carried a common set of equipment; upon their backs were swords, machetes, or sabers, while in their hands were well concealed firearms or outright sawed off shotguns hidden in their long cloak-like coats. Most of them looked at Zealot with cold penetrating stares, and although not malicious, was enough to make anyone nervous. Two hundred or so people stood, a tiny crowd, looking at the scene before them, Unity at the head.
"Your army is here." Unity said, rushing over to Zealot's feet, bowing lowly before him. "What is the next plan to move?" She asked.
"I'm pretty sure we could all use some sleep first." Sekai said, sighing.

"Indeed, it has been a long day, and several of us need to visit a medical facility, myself included. I thank you for your diligence in assembling my army, Unity. For now, spread out throughout the city and remain out of the public eye, stay in groups of five or six at most. Any criminal activity may attract unwanted attention and I therefore forbid it. I will kill any who violate this order myself if necesary, although the AL would likely get to you first." He crouched down again as Rev. Shmidt brought him a medical kit from his car. He took a length of gause out of it and after examining and manipulating Sekai's leg, used his scabbard and the gause to create a makeshift splint. "We are far to conspicuous to be seen at a hospital, therefore we must travel to a nearby AL clinic, which will have adequate medical supplies."
He leaned close to Sekai for a moment and whispered in his ear: "I could easily have killed you you and Christina here if i had wished it, remember that." He and Rev. Shmidt then picked the man up and began carrying him towards the car they had arrived in.
Meanwhile, Al-Omari was sizing up the members of Zealot's army with a look of contempt upon his face. "Murderers, thugs, and the like, wonderful. There isn't a proper soldier among the lot of them, is there? You are really hanging out with the wrong crowd these days, cap'n, use'to be we'd kill people like these on sight."
"The enemy of my enemy, Lieutenant." Zealot responded as he walked. "We may yet use them to acheive some good."
OOC: Italics denote that they are speaking in Sumguaian.
Sekai made no expression, though it was obvious he lusted for Zealot's head. There were those who wanted everyone to stay alive, however, and the Spring Demon was one of them. If Sekai made a move on Zealot, he would not live to see the next morning, and vice versa. The movement began.
Meanwhile, the council was underway. Jormungand sat upon the airplane, sipping coffee as bags developed under his eyes, his face a deep and cavernous smile that was almost a melancholic frown literally upside down. In front of him were seven monitors, upon which they were all covered up by a black star drenched in a white blanket, the symbol of the Sons of Sagacity. He smiled as the droning of the monitors died down. "Ain't no improvement, Leper." Jormungand said, as a silence was heard. "Christina McDonald isn't the woman you'd think she'd be, what with being the former General Jormungand. Her title and her style isn't impressive at all."
"A'see." The Fox Lord lamented, though seeming to suppress a bemused stifle. "Well, they's a being a real problem if we spent a'that money ta sen' them on th'way and ain't notin' come from it. Whatsa next attacka?" He asked, as another voice from another monitor spoke.
"Our situation is simple. We eliminate Christina McDonald for her incompetency. Additionally, we eliminate Dollface and Unity for their transgressions. On top of that, you will need to be disciplined properly, Jormungand." The voice spoke harshly and pragmatically.
"Your bloodlust isn't welcome here, Lazy Dragon." Jormungand said, his fingers tapping on his long sword impatiently. "But something distresses me; where is the Crow?"
The largest of the monitors, a golden plate embroidered screen, lit up in response. "She is doing what you refused to, Jormungand. She is also rectifying the error of having the Leper here in this situation."
That night, a woman visited Nike as he was beginning to leave the hospital. Perched upon her shoulders and flying above her head, were a murder of crows.

Zealot and Rev. Shmidt lay Sekai in the back of the car. Zealot turned to the rverend and spoke to him quietly. "Stay here, we will be far safer in the clinic than my...army will be out in the open. Therefore stay with Vice-Captain Unity and ensure she does not come to harm."
"Any particular reason why?" The preist replied, raising one eyebrow.
"She is loyal, more so than any now under my command, and she is neccesary to maintain a firm control over the rest."
"I see, will do. By the way, are you married yet?"
"No."
"Why on earth not?! You will be old soon, you are running out of time."
"You know very well why not." Zealot replied, his face hardening.
"She died sixteen years ago, it is past time for you to move on. What about this Unity woman? She seems pretty and nice enough."
"She used to have twelve personalities, and is member of the Sons of Sagacity."
"Bah, minor things like that can easily be worked around, how do you think my wife can deal with me?" The Reverend said, waving his hand dismissively as he walked away.
"The man is two years older than me, and he thinks that gives him the right to be my life coach.." Zealot grumbled to himself, opening the passenger-side door to the car for Christina.
"He's right, you know." Al-Omari said, leaning agaisnt a building. "You are the only one of us original lot who doesnt have a family yet. The only reason I'm still doing this is to make the world safer for my kids."
"Shaddup."
OOC: if you are wondering, the main purpose of that dialogue was to establish them all as being old friends.
Christina chuckled lightly. "Usually I would preach that political marriages were paramount to maintaining order, I can't imagine you and the vice-captain Unity in any other form of a relationship other than a Captain and his immediate subordinate." She rubbed her shoulder gently, the swelling hardening, though slightly receding, but nowhere near over. "But then again, I would never imagine that I'd meet the younger brother of the Spring Demon, let alone be willing to stay with him." She said lightly and quietly.
Sekai didn't hear much, as he was already fast asleep. Christina looked at Unity, who stood there, wandering left and right within the same spots, smiling softly. "She's a damn good kid, from the looks of it."
Nike stood there with wide open eyes, his face in a scowl. He frowned, looking at the woman standing before him, his face in distinct fear. "Let's see what you're made of." He said, smiling, charging at her as she grabbed the end of the pole, smashing it effortlessly with incredible strength, before grabbing his hair and smashing his face against her knee, sending Nike reeling back as his nose burst with blood.
She unsheathed her thin, long sword, rushing immediately without words as she slashed him squarely in the chest, before another thrust into his bicep, the blade writhing through his muscle and nerves. "D-Damn it, General. I just healed..." He said, literally pinned to the ground.
The Crow made no sound, she merely turned around as she checked off Nike's name on her list. Unity came next.

"Don't you start, I tolerate those two because I've known them for more than a decade.." Zealot began, but stopped as his cell phone rang and he put it to his ear. His face paled, and he slammed his fist on the dashboard. "Thank you for telling me, Please inform the Hegemon." He hung up, and started the car. "That was a nurse at the hospital, Nike has been found stabbed to death just outside the entrance. All the more reason not to go there, i suppose." He opened the window of the car. "Omari, would you mind going with Shmidt?"
"Sure thing." The man said, walking casually towards the Reverend and Unity.
Zealot closed the window again. "I only hope that those three will be able to fight off anyone who should attack them. The clinic will have AL guards at the entrance, we will be safer there, if only slightly." He pulled away from the park, and the car headed towards the east side of the city.
Sekai frowned. "Is there any specifics on the death of Nike? His body condition or how exactly he was killed?"
"Are there, Sekai." Christina said to him, correcting his linguistics.
"Sorry." He nodded. "Are there any specifics?"
Meanwhile, with Christina, Sekai and Zealot gone, Unity still continued her patrol, stretching slightly as her back crackled gently. She was really pretty, and in the basking moonlight underneath the dim golden hue, she had a very soft, subtle sense of beauty to her that did not give off waves of extreme aesthetic wonder, but she did have some sort of subdued, obedient flare to her that made her all the more desirable. She looked around, the number who linger still patrolling, the park a human fortress as soldiers clad in normal clothing silently scouted in the middle of the night. Walking up to Shmidt, she nodded in appreciation, bowing lowly.
"It's an honour to meet you, friend of Captain Zealot." She said nervously, with a strong fervent tone.

"His nose was broken, and there was a deep gash across his chest. His arm was also stabbed, the bicep shredded. He bled to death before the hospital staff found him." Zealot said in response. "We will be arriving in less than two minutes."
He continued in Sumguaian. "I never imagined I'd actually be helping Sekai seek medical treatment, or be a captain in the Rexcixua for that matter. Quite a number of unexpected occurences have been taking place lately."
"I assure you, the honor is all mine." The man replied, smiling brightly. "I am Reverend Shmidt, though you may refer to me as Mr. Shmidt or just Shmidt, as i hear you SoS folks arent much for religion." He chuckled to himself. "So he is Zealot eh? A fitting alias."
Christina tried to shrug, though it was an irking pain that stopped her. "Neither did I expect anything so unpredictable, but looking back at the chapters of my life, I can't say I've regretted any of these things. Do you regret doing what you do?"
Unity nodded. "I do not know much about Captain Zealot, Mr. Shmidt, so I can't express a truthful opinion on his words. However, I can say that I've tried to understand Captain Zealot and what he is trying to do, but he does not leave any openings for me."

"Yes. I cannot begin to list the things that i regret having done, and having not done." Zealot replied, stone faced as they pulled up to the clinic. He stepped out of the car, and the two guards at the entrance walked over to help move Sekai immediately upon recognizing Zealot.
The Reverend sighed. "He devotes all of his energy trying to make up for what he sees as his failure during the revolution, and trying to forget what happened to him during that time. He's never really been open or cheerful with anyone since, so don't take it personally." He paused for a moment. "From what i can tell he is attempting to make the best of a bad situation, to use his new position within the Sons of Sagacity to do some good for his nation, or at least minimize any harm. Honestly, i think he'd like nothing better than to see your organization completely destroyed and everyone within it dead, with the possible exceptions of yourself and Ms. Mcdonald."
"The situation is getting more violent." Christina said, looking at the puddle of blood outside the clinic. "It's a lot more violent than I had originally thought it would escalate to. With 2 Generals on his side, General Lazy Dragon is really getting more bloodthirsty." Christina covered her nose to rid her nostrils of the strong smell of blood.
"How sweet." Unity said, though with little life as she saw the figure of the crow walk towards them, her hands in her pocket, her stare unwavering, ribbons tied to the back of her coat. "G-General." Unity said, bowing lowly. "It's good to meet you, General Crow! What might you come here for?" Unity asked.
Crow pointed at Unity, before running her finger along her neck. Unity turned a pale shade. "Surely, you must be joking, right?!" She asked frantically, her fingers crouching to her handle, as the Crow's eyes shifted to her hand. She shook her head. "How did you get past the guards?" Unity asked.
"My authority overrides yours." General Crow said gently. She had a wonderful voice, beyond angelic.

OOC: they arent at the hospital, they are at a free AL clinic.
IC:
Rev. Shmidt and Lt. Al-Omari moved to stand in front of Unity, making it clear that they would defend her. "The Captain and Smith will be here momentarily." Shmidt said quietly as he pressed two small iron crosses on his sleeve.
Once they had set Sekai down on a bed Zealot sat down in a nearby chair, rubbing his eyes. The tiny cross on his sleeve flashed a red light and he swore loudly. "There is a situation at the park." He said to Christina as he walked quickly out of the door to his car. Once inside the vehicle, he started the engine and slammed down on the accelerator, not letting up as he passed the speed limit.
"I have no qualm with you." Crow said politely. "Can you please move? I would appreciate it." She spoke gently, almost like a whisper - soft, sultry and careful. It was as if every word, although sweet, hurt her throat.
Unity frowned in reply. She prepared herself, her knuckles crackling in anticipation for the bloodshed to come.

"I'm afraid not." Shmidt said, smiling. As he spoke Zealot's car skidded to a halt some yards away and he exited it, sword drawn, walking quickly towards the scene of the confrontation. Behind them another man, so huge he dwarfed even Zealot, emerged from the trees and also walked towards the four. He had no weapon, but wore a pair of steel gauntlets.
OOC: Zealot was travelling at about 140 mph before he stopped, hence why it only took him thirty seconds or so.
"What is this?" General Crow asked Unity, who was looking back at her with furious eyes. "Vice-Captain Unity, please explain to me what you are trying to accomplish here."
"What are you trying to do, trying to get rid of me, General?!" Unity asked in frantic tones, as General Crow shook her head.
"No, I'm not trying to get rid of you. Somebody else wants you dead, and General Medium issued the order to have you killed." General Crow spoke softly again.
"General Lazy Dragon's sister?! Why?!" Unity had her hand on her handle, and she prepared herself.
"A brother complex, I think." General Crow spoke, before looking at the situation around her. "I don't like to fight a fight with multiple opponents, so can the others please move away? I have only one target."

"Again, I'm afraid not." Al-Omari said, stepping forward and drawing his machettes as the other two joined them. The men readied themselves.
General Crow nodded softly, snapping her fingers as entire murders of crows flocked around her, forming a feathery blanket that spun and twisted with her every whim. She stood there, amidst the blackness, as the soft glitter of the light danced softly on their ebony plumages. Instantly, General Crow struck. She charged in an instant, covering the distance nearly instantaneously, avoiding the men defending Unity as she smashed into Unity's stomach without the girl even realizing it.
Sending her flying on the ground, General Crow continued her pursuit, her sword not even drawn out as she continued her advance upon Unity, her fist coming down upon the girl. Immediately, Unity blocked it, but her forearm smashed into the ground, blood spraying from a whitened and hardened chunk of flesh, leading to believe her own humerus had pierced her skin. Unity swung back, but was effortlessly blocked, her fist stuck in the increasingly painful grip that General Crow had mustered up against her.
"If you wish to attack me, do so now, because I will break vice-captain Unity here and now." General Crow spoke.

Zealot was instantly driven into a rage at the sight of Unity bleeding and ran at General Crow, preparing to slash at her back. Al-Omari got to her first, Bringing both his machettes up in preperation to stab the General.
General Crow frowned. Immediately pulling out a knife from her sleeve, her gripped it tightly as it extended, the blade shooting out at a swift rate that it pierced through Al-Omari's skin, blood splashing out before the blade had ripped out through the back, stabbing through his chest.

The man stood motionless for a moment in shock as he stared at his chest, then grabbed General Crow's arm in a deathgrip, trying to impede her movement. With one hand he held her hand and the knife, driving it further into him, and held her shoulder with the other. Zealot ran past the two, sheathing his sword and picking up Unity, then proceeding to run towards his car. The other two followed, Smith at the rear.
"I'm sorry." General Crow whispered solemnly. "I wish it wasn't like this." She quietly waited, before lightly grasping herself free from Al-Omari's quickly dying strength. Turning around, she waited silently for the man to finally let his grip go, before she continued her search. "Where would they go?" She asked herself, looking at the army gathered before her, the men of Captain Zealot.
"On my orders, I want you men to scout out and find your captain, and your vice-captain. Bring Unity to me." General Crow, as they nodded in response and hustled out into the darkness. Zealot, Unity and Smith were already long gone, and General Crow rubbed her wrist slightly. "That man had a strong grip." She stole a glance back to Al-Omari.

Zealot put Unity in the car's passenger seat and got in, the toher two men cramming themselves into the back. The car pulled out, and sped away from the park. "We will go to the clinic, they wont dare attack us there, that is if they want to keep this whole thing out of the public eye." Zealot said, looking over at Unity. "How are you injured?"
Lt. Al-Omari lay on the ground, laughing as he died. "Now this is a good death." He said to himself as he lost conciousness.
"My humerus is sticking out of my arm, Captain." Unity said, wincing slightly, touching the skin as it ran red before white, and back to red again. "I don't want to touch it, but it hurts, alot." She added at the end.
Meanwhile, General Crow looked at the footprints, waiting silently before a woman emerged from the darkness, unarmed, though without a doubt a member of the Sons of Sagacity. "What news?"
"The Lazy Dragon has issued that everyone must fall back. RedEye has fallen ill. We must tend to him." She said, as General Crow's eyes became wide with shock. Immediately, she dropped her soft, subtle tone, into one more frantic, desperate, and human.
"Lord RedEye?!" She said, turning around as she rushed past the woman. "I'll be there immediately."
Meanwhile, Jormungand sat upon the plane, smiling as he fiddled around with a vial of greenish liquid. "You can thank me later, kids." He said, smiling. "You've got 1 week before all hell breaks loose."

"Well if it isnt broken then it shouldnt be a very long-lasting injury." Zealot replied, breathing a sigh of releif. They stopped in front of the clinic and he sat motionless for a moment, then gave Rev. Shmidt a debit card and a scrawled note from out of his wallet. "I need to help inside, please transfer half of the funds in my account to his family."
"I will" The preist said, nodding as he took the card.
Zealot got out and opened the door for Unity. "Can you walk, or should I carry you?"
"I can walk." Unity insisted, getting out of the card, her arm quickly becoming swollen. "Damn arm." She said, frowning. "Thank you very much for the consideration, Captain, but I cannot waste your time with such requests!" She tried to bow, but a small crack was heard before blood ran down her arm.

"Yes you damn well can." Zealot said, losing patience as he opened the door to the clinic for her. "Now get inside and sit down."
Her movements were robotic in nature, as she stiffly and mechanically trotted over to a chair, before sitting down. Across from her, Christina sat with her usual hat atop her head, smiling brightly as a white cast-like object was wrapped around her arm, wires tying to the other end of her other arm onto a white strap. She waved at Unity, only a few feet away. "Yo!" Christina said cheerfully.

05-12-2007, 05:02
"My army is no longer under my command." Zealot said to Christina as he walked inside. "Al-Omari is dead." He sat down next to Unity, and a pair of nurses came over to inquire as to their injuries. "I have a bullet wound in my shoulder, it is bandaged and is not actively bleeding. She has injured her arm, and is in need of immediate attention." He told them, leaning back and closing his eyes as he was overcome with weariness.
It wasn't much of a night, when only the noise of rushing and shuffling feet clattered on the floor, people talking, but like Wall, Christina had a rough day. It was already 3 in the morning, and much bloodshed had come from this one day. Only did the break of the morning light briskly warm her up, the smashing of the leaves still bustling gently amongst the chattering of the door.
People walked outside, from work, to work, with their significant others, and students, trudging to and fro. It was as if all that killing never happened only several hours ago, and everyone was complacent and cheerful. Al-Omari was dead. Only a few hours ago, he was a man doing his job, with bills to pay and a life to lead. One thing only led to another. It was noon, and here, Christina stretched slightly, a soft crackling noise audible. She walked slowly to Sekai's room to accompany him. As she walked, she turned to Wall's sleeping form. "Wake up." She said once, before walking off.

Zealot woke up, rubbing his eyes. He sat for several minutes, reviewing the events of the previous day in his mind. After a short while he opened the medical kit laying on the floor next to him and changed the bandages on his shoulder. Once this was done he got up and walked out of his room. Not wishing to disturb Christina and Sekai, he went to check on Unity.
Unity was a fast healer, and although a cast was strapped onto her arm, she had no problem moving her fingers as she flipped the pages of a meaty, lengthy book in her hands labeled as the Old Testament. Unsurprisingly, she found it quite interesting, though nowhere was she a Christian. Turning her head up to the noise of the shuffling door, she saluted Zealot fervently with her face in a stiff, attempted-professional stare. "Captain Zealot, vice Captain Unity reporting."

"There is no need for that anymore, our army is now hunting us, remember?" Zealot said, sitting down. "Our ranks mean little at this point. How is your arm?"
"It's healing nicely." She said, flexing it slightly, a few cracks heard, though she seemed unaffected. "What brings you here, Captain?" She asked quickly.

05-12-2007, 21:54
"Just checking up." Zealot replied. "I don't really have much else to do, Shmidt took my car and I'd rather not disturb Christina and Sekai." He laughed to himself. "This is the first time I've had nothing to do in years."
"In years? Quite a rap record." She looked around at the scenery. "Well, we have time to kill, so if you want, I can answer any questions you may have on the Sons of Sagacity."

"Very well, what do you know of the Generals Crow and Medium?" Zealot asked. "It would seem that for a Captain, I am rather ignorant of the organization's structure."
"It's understandable. Information on the Generals are usually hearsay and rumors, so there's nothing official that can be used. However," she said, looking at the wall across from her, "being a former member of General Leper's Intelligence army pays off." She sighed, preparing herself for a long haul.
"General Crow and General Medium are polar opposites of each other. General Crow is humble, polite, understanding, and when she isn't doing her job, she is taking care of children, working at charities, and doing everything that normal women do in their communities. But underneath, she carries a dark personality. General Crow is physically the strongest of the Sons of Sagacity Generals, with more muscle power in her body at any location than even The Lazy Dragon, whom is said to have the most brutal crushing power. Her speed is unmatched by anyone within the entire organization, and she's proficient in split step attacks. She's proficient in martial arts and swordplay, but her main danger is her capability in the use of improvised weaponry. Anything is a weapon to her, and she can manipulate things at will to suit her needs."
"This is in stark contrast with General Medium. She's loud, boisterous, arrogant, and doesn't given enemies a second chance at anything. But, unlike General Crow, she'll never show her face, and more dangerously she likes to use high powered weaponry to deal out her damage. It isn't uncommon for her to be using sniper rifles or portable miniguns to eliminate us, and if she truly did go on the offensive, alot would be destroyed before we can actually do anything." Unity closed her eyes, before sighing and breathing gently.
"Honestly, we never thought that Medium and Crow would ally themselves. They never did get along with each other, and in fact, it looked like they were ready to kill each other. But when two opposites of such extremity ally together, it's pure destruction. This is what makes us wonder; why are they on the Lazy Dragon's side?" Unity frowned again.

"I see, why indeed?" Zealot replied. "What i don't see is why Lord Sumguy would be such a high-priority target as to involve so many generals, so I am led to beleive that this is just a venue for competition between them for power."
"Recently, the Leper's condition is getting worse. She's likely the reason why the Generals are so active right now." Unity said, looking at Zealot sadly. "The Leper is the leader of the intelligence army. For a long time, she has maintained a fairly neutral stance regularly following General Fox Lord on his side, but lately her body has been giving out. She's named the Leper for a reason, and eventually someone will have to replace her."
"It's likely that with the movements of the Generals, the one who can eliminate the most enemies within the Sons of Sagacity will gain General RedEye's favor, and because of that, they'll be able to appoint someone to the intelligence army. Someone on their side."

"I see, and we are caught in the middle of this manuevering." Zealot said, frowning.
"Bad things at bad times. Just the wrong place at the wrong time." Unity said, chuckling slightly. "Well, look on the bright side, Captain. We would have never met if they weren't maneuvering." She tried to force a smile upon her, but it was a bit too laborious so early in the morning.

"Well, there is that." He replied, laughing as well. "I suppose I can't complain of boredom either now. More has hapeed to me in the pas three days than would in any three months before all of this started."
"Life of the Sons of Sagacity. The Captains get put under this kind of stress as well, I've heard." Unity said, stretching slightly, before scratching her head. "How many points do you have?"
Lord Sumguy

"Points? I'm not sure. I've only killed Woodson, the Cannibal, and some hired thugs, the first when i was not yet a member, so I'd imagine not too many."
"Woodson, I never liked. He was worth 48 points, I last believe. Sepulchre was worth 143 points, I believe. Cannibal had 779 points. Thugs whose names aren't mentioned aren't worth points. You currently have 1970 points, since a Captain automatically carries 1,000 points.

"Oh, i see, interesting. How many would you happen to have?" Zealot asked.
"356,387." Unity said smoothly.

Zealot's eyebrows raised in suprise. "Shouldn't you be a General then, if you have so many?"
"My father doesn't want me to be one. I was slated to be a General, but he preached that subservience for me is best, especially when my personality disorder has only healed. Can't get too stressed out so early." She replied.

"Understandable, he probably won't be too happy aout the events of yesterday then." Zealot said. "Was it...unpleasant, having mutiple personalities?"
"I don't remember any of it. It's like going to sleep, and closing your eyes for only a second, but when you open them again it feels like only a second has past, but time flew hours past you. Physically, it didn't feel odd, nor did it affect me mentally, but as time went on, I could only wonder what my other selves were doing. Now I'll never know." Unity whispered.

"I see, It could have been worse for you then." Zealot's expression hollowed as he fidgited with a ring on his right hand. "Much worse." He shuddered. "I was never able to withdraw from conciousness."
"That's quite terrible, Captain. Surely you've lost it now and then? To be completely unable to understand your surroundings? I'll tell you this now, but the current General Jormungand is a genius. He fell into a coma at the age of six, and only two years ago did he awake from it. He had no memory of his coma, and it felt like he had just closed his eyes for a second, but twenty nine years passed by before him. Three decades, gone. And yet, he became so powerful that he became a General in two years. A prodigy fighter. But how much did you think it hurt him?"
Lord Sumguy

"He was in a coma, i doubt he felt much of anyhting." Zealot said. "Would that i could have been in a coma, but no such luck. I was captured and tortured for twelve days during the revolution, forced to eat and drink and kept barely alive. On the thirteenth day I broke the bonds holding me and slaughtered every living thing in the building where i was being held. I remember every moment of it, it was as if i was just watching, a helpless observer as I watched myself kill everyone there. I hate to think what the experience did to my mind." Zealot said. He appeared in control of himself at first glance, but anyone who looked closely would discover that his entire body was now shaking slightly as memories flashed through his head.
Unity got out of her bed, her sheets shuffling as she wrapped her arms around Zealot's head. She wasn't tall enough, but the bed provided the extra elevation she required. "You know, they say that a man isn't supposed to show his feelings, but what constitutes a man? His body? His mind? His history?" She tried to calm him down. "You speak with a lamenting sorrow, Captain, but your body well remembers the pain. What is the real you?"
Lord Sumguy

"I am not my past." Zealot said, Unity's words reassuring him as his shaking slowly subsided. He returned Unity's embrace. "Thank you."
Unity's clasp did not loosen, though she did finally stop her hold when she saw Sekai standing at the doorway, his eyes glazed over disbelief. Behind him, Christina hung onto his arm, smiling mischievously as only a playful chuckle escaped her lips. "My, workplace relationships." Sekai said monotonously. "Unity, are you that inexperienced with men to have fallen for the first guy you talk to? I had thought you had an Oedipal complex."

"The pot calling the kettle black." Zealot said, laughing to hide his anger at the intrusion. "You aren't exactly one to preach about such things." He continued, ignoring Sekai's last statement. "After all, you two have hardly known each other for more than a week."
In the hallway, Rev. Shmidt passed by the room and stopped, looking at the scene for a moment with an warm and unsuprised smile. "Don't you think it is rather rude to be intruding like this, ma'am?" He said, walking up behind Christina.
"You're right." Christina came to the realization, tugging Sekai by his sharp hair. "Let's go." She said, as Sekai walked back slowly, groaning in discomfort and pain with his feet clashing loudly on the floor.
"Ow, ow, ow." Sekai said, being dragged off. With the mood broken, Unity lifted her hands up high and quickly, moving back away from Zealot with a sincere apology under her belt.
"I'm sorry, Captain!" She said, reverting back to her old self.
Meanwhile, Redeye sat gently in the bed, watching television as General Crow walked into those doors. "General Crow reporting, Lord Redeye." She said, bowing lowly as Redeye nodded appreciatively. "Nike is dead, and Unity will be soon."
"Though you failed to kill her in the allotted time." Redeye said calmly, not taking his eyes off of the television before him. "Unacceptable. Perhaps I should have assigned someone more capable to this job, Crow." He said, as she stayed low.
"I implore, give me another chance!" She implored.
