By the authority vested in me by my father, Lord Damien Dreadfire of Automagfreek, I come to you all today concerning the CAD alliance, its status, and its future.

For those who were not following world events some time ago, the alliance known as CAD was one of several power blocs contending for power on the global stage. Alongside their foes turn allies in the Sovereign League, they formed the union known as APOC in an attempt to consolidate their power and stand against the dominant NATO/Gholgoth/GASN bloc. Due to infighting and differences in ideals and agendas, APOC crumbled and soon thereafter both the League and CAD began to rot away into obscurity. The more moderate minded nations in both alliances began to gradually shift towards the Gholgoth/NATO bloc, since by this time GASN had disbanded its ranks.

Since this statement concerns CAD and Gholgoth, I will refrain from further mention of NATO and the Sovereign League.

Over the years, the nations that made up the foundations of CAD began to slowly, one at a time, make their way into the Gholgothan camp. The mighty Generic Empire was the first to grow tired of CAD and the Doomani tyranny that began to corrode the alliance. Then Generia's allies in the Borman Empire made the shift, followed by Freudotopia, and finally The Warmaster. Other member states in Shenyang, Jipleastan, and Nation of Fortune departed for the United Defense Directorate, and effectively CAD was rendered completely impotent.

One cannot deny that CAD has now crumbled and fallen.

What I come before the world and the remnants of CAD to say is this, I have an offer most interesting for you all: Join us.....join Gholgoth.

Your past wrongs against our regional brotherhood will be forgiven, and all will be granted a fresh slate within our diverse and stable regional alliance. You have an opportunity to become one with the most dominant power bloc in this modern world.

However, concerning the nation of Doomingsland, whom we are fighting: there are conditions should you take us up on this offer. Maximus must be dealt with in some way, shape, or form. Either he must be executed, go into exile, or retain an honorary power position. We would not think of stipping the Doomani of their national pride should they and their leaders choose this new beginning, but we cannot stress enough that Maximus is a liability to all. Those within Doomingsland who are oppressed and long for an era of stability should rise up and take control of their own destiny. Do not let Maximus bring your nation to ruin just he lead CAD into ruin, be rid of his influence while you still can.

While we do not expect this offer to be taken up by any still within CAD, the offer has been made regardless. We know that three of the member states are largely isolationist and have not taken part in world affairs for many years, and if they wish to remain so then we will not press the issue. But, if any want a fresh start and new opportunities, then you will be welcomed with open arms.

The Kahanistanian Military Command wishes to know if what we in Kahanistan call the "British Londinium Precedent" will be invoked against the Doomani should they come to the negotiating table.

If the reference is lost, it refers to the treaty conditions by which British Londinium was required to withdraw from lands it had unjustly invaded and occupied; despite invasions by both your nation and Kregaia, Doomingsland continues to invade our land and butcher our people - and without the flimsiest of casi belli.

While we do not seek a protectorate status for reasons of national pride, those who have suffered at the hands of the murderous Catholic tyrant Maximus must be remembered and helped to whatever extent the international community can. Many millions of our people have been sold as slaves by the Doomani, or are held in Doomingsland itself as slaves. Others are dead, wounded, displaced, or missing, their fates unknown.

We believe that with the Doomani threat removed, a negotiated peace with the Questarian Commonwealth may become feasible.

OFFICIAL IMPERIAL STATEMENT

I myself have taken the time to personally support, second, and applaud the offer extended by the Freekish Imperial Regent; such words are based not only in wisdom, but in the facts of recent history. I would like to add what weight I may to the Freekish offer by addressing those in the CAD directly.

We were once brothers, bound together by the closest of ties. But the tides of global politics are powerful things, and in the last few years, the CAD and the Imperium have parted ways. We are secure and satisfied now, in Gholgoth; we are part of a lasting and mighty brotherhood. The CAD was never equipped to be a great power, not with so many of its nations dormant on the world stage; Gholgoth, by contrast, is the most powerful regional alliance in history. Once we of the CAD strutted across the world, in a time before Gholgoth made its presence truly felt, but since the fall of APOC the CAD has withered and shrunk. It no longer has the power to influence events in the world as a first-tier power, and if you truly would shake off the chains of neutrality and take up the seat of power, come to Gholgoth. You are welcome here.
