What's up with the Islamic terror threads on NS???

I was looking for some people (preferablly Haven residents) to RP an action to attack on some Lorican city buildings by an Islamic extremist group, the justification behind it being they had not revieved fair treatment by the government. I could maybe use some people to fund them, also.

The attacks would involve a suicide bombings and the destruction of a building.

I know nothing about arabic, so I'm open for name suggestions from those who've studied it.

As we have a mutual defense pact ICly, I'm up to assist your government if necessary.

Also, I can provide the terrorists if you want. The Tolvanic Mauritan Islands have a pop of about 100 million and are about 60% Muslim, albeit rather moderate, but I suppose I can RP a few financiers and disgruntled youths to wreak a little havoc if you want.

Indeed they do: they are funded, trained, and otherwise supported by the highest levels of the Imperial Xeraphian government. They were originally created as a small group of anti-terror specialists and evolved into a full-blown division of combatants with multi-stealth capabilities. They have their own squadron of aircraft, two platoons of armor, and are directly linked to a naval battle-group whose sole purpose is to act in conjunction with the mercs.

As a side-note, they are considered mercs only because they are not part of the regular Xeraphian armed forces. They are the ultra-elite fighting men and women of the Empire. Their existence is known to a relatively few upper level military/governmental officials.

Not likely, most of Tolvan's Muslims are rather moderate Muslims of East African decent who live in the Mauritan Islands. The only radicals are mostly very poor Arab refugees who live in Palestinian style slums and camps in the Mauritans. I've been planning a RP where I crack down on them anyway so this would give me a good excuse.

Sorry for the late reply, I was busy with a Halo tournament and other RL stuff all weekend.

I've been developing an Islamic terrorist plotline for awhile as an excuse to engage in some urban fightin a la the Gaza Strip and this gives me an excuse to curb stomp my refugee population and throw them out. That fits in more with the isolationist "Tolvan First" politics I've been RPing lately than the current situation.

When can we expect an IC thread?

Maybe a retaliation is taken upon your ally (moi) by these same terrorists when I give Tolvan my support in the conflict?

Sounds workable, it'd be very difficult for terrorists to launch a major attack in any of my major cities (the failed attack on Commerce Minister Burke in the now defunct A Little Revolution thread notwithstanding) so pissed off radicals wreak some havoc in Lorica.

If you want I could have an IC thread up in a day or so.
