Kansiov's Hostage Crisis [MT, Open]
Highway 16, Kansiov City, 1700 hrs
Juliev Kabad, was sitting in a bus, but this was no ordinary bus ride to work, and it is most probally his final one. In the bus there were 32 others, all carrying weapons, ready to stage one of the biggest Terror plot in Kansiovian history...
Juliev was born in the State of Prochyna, in a town called Glensbil. Prochnya had been long in civil war, mainly between Government (Kansiovian) Troops and Prochnyan Independence movement. The wars left Prochnya to be the poorest state in all of Kansiov, and also the most neglected. In 1998 in thrid Civil war which lasted for 2 years came to a close, with once again, another Kansiovian victory. Upset, the remaining Independence movement leaders had no choice but to use the period of 9 years (from 1998-2007) to rearm and reorganize themselves. By Mid 2007, they were ready to stage another war, whatmore to start off a war with rampaging havoc right in the heart of the enemy.
Juliev was assigned overall commander of the Operation. He is experienced and fought with the Kansiovians in the 2nd and 3rd war, where both his parents died after a rocket fired from a helicopter accidently hit his house when he was on the way out to work. Now its payback time.
"Right turn, yes Right turn."
The busy highways of Kansiov was abit frustrating for his driver, who was only getting use to the such heavy traffic as there were never so many cars on the roads in Prochyna.
"Exit 14, 400m"
Juliev looked at his map again.
"Yes this one keep on the left."
He went back to the bus to look if the other car was still following him.
Yes it was.
Now it was him to give his final breifing to his men...
"Alright when we move in, only 5 of you will remain in the lobby. The rest go up to the rooms and get everone out of there and forced them into the lobby if you have to. The lobby is located at the second floor by the way. Farblas and Shiekisev, guard the main entrance, use anything as cover, watch for any Kansiovian law enforcement units trying to get in. The 5 guys in the car behind will stay at the car park for the 1st 7 minutes, holding back any police officers. They would fall back when the Kansiovians bring in heavier firepower. Oh yes, just before i forget, fill up as many bathtubs and sinks with water. We will need it. Any questions?"
"No Sir!"
The bus and the white sedan approached the parking lot of "Crystal Jade Hotel"...

Juliev jumped out of the bus first, quicky put on his mask, and slammed into the hotel entrance, firing his AK rounds into the air. His men followed calming everone down, telling them to proceed to the lobby. His men did as they are told, checking each door telling anyone that is in it to get down to the lobby. He went to the accouncement room, yelling through the PA system.
"THIS IS A RAID! EVERONE GET TO THE LOBBY NOW!"
In just 15 minutes the rooms were clear, men were now filling up the sinks and bathtubs with water.
Juliev picked up a magazine, "Crystal Jade the 5 Star Hotel" he laughed and tossed it aside. He went down to the lobby, addressing to all who are there.
"Do not worry, remain calm, should you panic and run off we will open fire, so do not. Now we will ask the Government to accept what we are going to request, if they do, you all will be released. So better pray they do."
Soon, 3 men in masks started setting up a video camera...
OCC: You may, but the Kansiovian Ops are well trained as well. Yea up to you really...
A Kansiovian police car came to the scene, 4 officers came out and started firing their Bretta 9mm and shotguns at the terrorists in the carpark. One was shot in the arm just 20 seconds in the firefight and went down.
" Officer down! Officer down! Im hit! Im hit!"
Another officer was soon shot in the head, and went down. He was dead.
"500078 and 500079 pull out immidately. Help will be on their way to help them."
The remaing officers pulled back, running across the street under a hail of automatic fire. Soon a second police car arrived, this time the officers were carrying AK-74s and were wearing arymid Body armor.
Juliev was shocked, he didn't expect the police to bring up such heavy firepower in such a short period of time. He told those at the car park to pull back. The military could be here any minute, he told the men to quickly set up the videocamera.
"FASTER! FASTER!" he screamed at them.
Presidential Palace, 1735hrs
"Sir, terriorists have gained full control of the Crystal Jade Hotel in Downtown Kansiov. Permission to call in the military."
"Yes, carry on, but do not do a rescue Operation yet, we don't want it to be another blood bath."
"Yes, of course."
Soon Guliev ran back to him.
"Sir, they are asking for a request, watch."
He grabbed the remote and turned the television on,
"My name is Juliev Kabad, we request that all Kansiovian troops are to be pulled out and an offical Independence to be declared to Prochyna by the Kansiovian President. We will give you, Mr President 30 minutes to respond, should you not respond or not give in to our demands, we will take the nessary measures to do so."
"What the hell? A hotel? What are they going to do? Kill the tourists?"
"Um, yes this might bring our tourism Industry to its knees."
"Goddammit, this agreement can't be given to them over a short period of time!"
"Yes, I suggest we buy some time, let them reconsider their actions."
"Who do you think is up for the job?"
"I have an Old friend of mine, yea, leave it to him."
"Hello? Ah, Guliev! Nice to talk to you again. Yes I have been following the news, if you want me to go in, i would be willing to. The bet these guys would be a hard nut to crack though. Yes, I will try."
Rishekov immidately put down the phone and grabbed his car keys. Off he went...
Crystal Jade Hotel, 1740 hrs
"Juliev, main entrance is mined."
"Well do.."
Juliev was interrupted
"SIR! SIR! We have a hostage at the 3 floor, we missed him earler but now he is trying to jump out of the window! Akmad is still up there telling him to get off the window."
"Well, tell him to get down! If he doesn't shoot him. Take another guy with you."
"Ye.. Yes sir."
By this time, news of the Crisis have already spread to all parts of the world, and almost every news agency is having ground crew filming the man in the edge of the window.

"Right here I am standing at the Crystal Jade Hotel in Downtown Kansiov City, a man who seemed to have evaded the terrorist checks in the hotel rooms is trying to make a break for it. We can see here as he... Oh my god, he is falling and he just hit the ground, im not sure if the camera man got him, but he fell just seconds ago. Medical teams getting to him are getting sprayed by automatic gun fire coming from the same window he fell from... and oh... and that gunmen got hit as well! We are not sure if he is dead by it is comfirmed that a Kansiovian Officer shot him..."
Back in the hotel...
"Sir, Akmad is dead, shot by the security forces while firing at them."
"Fucking hell!, get any one of those hostages here right now!"
They grabbed a hostage, and placed him right infront of the Video Camera.
"M..My name is Rick Dannes, Im from The Principality of Damirez, Im aged 42 and fa...father of 2..."
Just before he could finish his sentence, Juliev opened fire, killing him instantly.

Our Nation mourns with you for the loss of one of your citizens, his death will not be in vain, for the people who commited such acts on him, they will be killed or put to justice in court once the ordeal is over. As compensation, the Kansiovian Governemnt is willing to pay $250,000 USD to his family for the loss of their husband/father.
"Alright," said Juliev in front of the Camera, live in front of the whole world, "first guy to die, reason, the Kansiovian security forces shot one of our guys. However soon in another 5 minutes another will, unless the Kansiovian Government would give in to our demands."
Guliev quickly called Rishekov.
"When are you arriving? They are about to shoot the next hostage!"
"What they shot one already? Why?"
" *sigh* never mind just hurry!"
"Yes I have already arrived."
Rishekov walked out of the car, basically all the military officers knew who he was, a highly regarded negotiator. He pulled out a white handichief, and walked towards to hotel. Seconds later he entered it...
20 minutes later
"We are standing right here at the carpark of the Crystal Jade Hotel, what seperates us right ahead of us is the no cross zone, which someone 20 minutes ago had crossed, and it was Rishekov, one very well know negotiator, and its taking abit too lon.. and he is coming out now! With serveral hostages! Mainly children, there are about 14 of them coming out now."
The reporter dashed towards him, along with many others.
"How are the talks progressing?"
"Well the good news is they are willing to stop killing to hostages for about another 7 hours, which is till next day morning. But they are still going to keep them at the hotel, till we sign the agreements that they were looking for."
"What deal brought these children out then?"
"Oh thats, er.. classified."
he said with a laugh.
Rishekov walked back to the car, ignoring all the other questions. He immidately receieved a call.
"We done!"
"Thanks, Mr President, however the deal that I got the children out is not under your approval."
"Um, what you did said we offer?"
"At 600hrs we would deliever 3 million dollars to the hotel."
"Thats fine with me, if we get the hotel back, we would also get back the money. Do you think they have a reason for it?"
"Well, they fell for the trick."
"Oh.. haha"
the President said with a laugh.
0211 hrs
"Hey..." whispered one of the hostages.
"About 3 of them are awake, only 3! Tell Dannis, should we proceed?"
Dannis nodded.
"Move, Move!"
Outside...
*String of Gun Fire*
*BOOM!*
"What the hell was that? What the fuck? All units Уран, I repeat Уран!!!"
Mil-Mi 18s circling around the hotel went nearer, will great skill, the pilots hovered next to a window on the 4th floor, Spetsnaz soldiers quickly broke the windows and went in.
*Another string of gunfire*
A BRDM, drove straight through the glass entrance of the hotel, activating the mines, however the vehicle was able to withstand the explosion. Troops in it quickly disembarked. Farblas and Shiekisev opened fire on the BRDM, despite having armored piercing rounds, they failed to inflict serious damage on the Armored Carrier, before they themselves got chewed up by the 7.92mm Machine gun mounted on the carrier. Massive waves of Kansiovian Troops blew up backdoors and entered them. Terrorists returned fire from the windows, however seconds later they stopped after Kansiovian snipers took out about 4 trying to do so.
Juliev was shocked, what the hell happened? He thought to himself, the other 2 who were in his room grabbed an AK-47 and followed him out of the hotel room. As soon as they got out, they were greeted by a glaring torchlight, then a hail of bullets. Instantly all of them went down, dead.
By 2017 hrs, it was over. All 37 terrorists were dead. Medical teams along with serveral permitted news crews went into the hotel. In the lobby the damage of the explosion that wrecked the hotel before the troops moved in were clear, body parts, blood and dead bodies were everywhere.
Even a chunk of the ceiling collapsed in the explosion, crushing 4 hostages underneath. The death toll could be in the hundreds...
Dr. Ibesliev walked out, immdiately surrounded by a public wanting to know what were the losses.
"So far we have counted 37 Terrorists, 89 hostages and 23 badly mutilated bodies, which were are confirming if they are either terrorists or hostages. We have counted a total of 567 hostages who are alive, some of them are badly injured."
"Doctor, any military dead?"
"Yes, 6 soldiers and a police officer was killed and over 23 are seriously wounded."
Presidential Palace
Anttotov was awaken by the rining of his phone.
Quickly we stood up straight, terrified by the loss of human life in the Crisis. Immidately he changed his clothes and ordered his chaffeur to rush to the scene.
