Office of the Supreme Leader
The office was quite Spartan; and overly red; crimson red with gold plating; the floor was grey marble and artefacts like crowns, relics and pieces of armour occupied shelves while a book shelf occupied the opposite wall. The room was quite expansive and utterly opulent for the sole granite desk that stood at the head of the large room. The desk was rectangular decorated by some photo frames; a few file folders and a writing space. The touch screen computer was embedded inside the desk. The tall luxury leather chair was more akin to a captains chair on a cruise liner than an office; sat in the chair looking out over the city below behind 8 inches of re-enforced bullet proof glass was Sanctus Santoria. Dark skinned; balled, The Supreme leader of the Holy Empire, the epitome of purity with eyes as dark as the abyss of the pit. Said to be chosen by the gods themselves and the blood of Zaruel running through his veins. Lone man approaches dressed in gold armour breast plate, epaulettes, gauntlets, knee thigh and pelvic plates with crimson undershirt; the armour certainly more ceremonial and for exhibition than functionality dropped to one knee and bowed his head.

"Sir" he said eyes fixed firmly on the ground.

"What is it Telmanicus?" the man spoke never turning from the window; looking down at the sea of red tunics that awaited his speech. Telmanicus was the leader of the armed forces; a man of honour and loyalty to the empire. This was worrying to Sanctus for he knew Telmanicus was certainly more loyal to the high Priests of the gods and to the holy empire as a whole than to Sanctus himself. Sanctus knew he only led the Holy Empire for as long as the gods so wished it and for as long as the gods wished it; Telmanicus was loyal but gods wants could of course change on a whim

"They are ready for you; sir"; Telmanicus said eyes still downward; his lips compressing into a thin smile; Telmanicus served the empire in many ways but essentially he was a soldier.

"Excellent" Sanctus said standing from his chair and pressing his suit down with his palms to flatten it against his muscled bulk. A trait of all Genites regardless of field or profession be it soldier or priest was increased body mass; all Genites from the age of walking were taught to fight in one form or another until they reached the age of manhood; then they were tested. The Genites were a warrior culture born and tempered in the fire of a volcano with the heat of a thousand suns. Sanctus walked from his office through the long crimson corridors of the fortress to the podium where the people would be addressed followed quietly by Telmanicus. Thousands, tens of thousands maybe even hundreds of thousands of citizens gathered below to hear the words of Sanctus; it was a sea of Crimson tunics and half naked men and women for as far as the eye could see. Genite architecture was somewhat Spartan; more functional than aesthetic; it was akin to what the Romans or Spartans themselves may have come up with if they had survived to modern day with strong emphasis on functionality and tradition. Sanctus stood on the balcony behind the oak podium.

He ran his hands down it silently letting the cool polished and varnish wood slide against his palms; his eyes closed as if calm himself but in all honesty he wasn't nervous more excited. "My Fellow Citizens…our time of isolation by decree of the god of fear and terror is now over!" he began to loud cheers; "The God of Blood and Strength now speak and beat the drums of fire!" Sanctus rose his voice.
The cheers exploded across the sea of people loudly and excitedly; few would even remember the Genites, even fewer there power; the terror and nightmares associated with them. Flames, cold and blood would come and those few, those precious few that knew the name Genites would pray, pray that the Genites never came back.

Sanctus departed to his private chambers pleased that his short if somewhat important speech had gone well; in his chambers was Alexia Ryder; the beautiful head of intelligence; her wavy dark hair coming down to around her shoulders. She was dressed in a black and red tunic of the Interior Ministry, which was the politically correct term for 'spy agency' her lips contorted into a seductive smirk.

"That went well", Alexia spoke her voice like sugar and honey hiding the true manipulative nature of the praying mantis.

"Indeed" Sanctus said equally coolly as she handed him a file marked in blood red with words like 'top secret' and 'eyes only' written on its cover. Sanctus read over the report; he was not happy. It showed movements of nations calling themselves 'Hermagony' and 'British Londinium' both seemed enemies of each other but they were both starting to stray dangerously close to Genite outer territories; some of the Hermagony were even built on former territories of the Genites before there sudden departure by divine order. This would have to be stopped; this required retribution; this required the complete and utter annihilation of the Hermagony; its members and its leader; Genite land would be reclaimed and the weak shall perish.

"Tell Telmanicus to awake the dragon!" Sanctus spoke loudly; his voice dark and cold. And so with one order the beast, the mighty war machine of the Genites once again began to stir from its slumber. Ships that had been left in port for years but peak maintained would now be awakened for the mission of death

To The nations of the Hermagony
The Holy Empire hereby requests 25% of all Hermagonic nations land formally belonging to the empire before its disappearance. This land will be returned to the empire at once; or the Hermagony will face the consequences. This is not a negotiation. You have 24 hours to comply or face utter doom.

It has come to my attention that a warmongering fool dares to threaten some past allies of mine. If and when they were allies our Republic Library has yet to reveal, but nonetheless they are the allies of us now. Let it be known that the "Dragon", as it is so specifically called, will be utterly destroyed and decimated if the Tyrannical Genites do not call back. I will personally bring in all of the Republic's Military Might and expose your weak-minded nation for what it is.....Our Lands.

We see no reason for this blatant assault on a nations soverignty. If said land was your in the past, and it is not now, then I would suggest that you work out a deal to purchase this said land back and not threaten the people of a nation and/or alliance. Although if you continue to warrant an offensive military action that we feel threatens civilian life, then we will step in to assess the damages and force out any military forces that we feel are not applicable to the land and have no proper say in land ownership.

This means that you, the Leadership of the Nation of Genites should watch what you say. And if you do not wish the military might of the Shazbotdom Empire comming down on you for harming civilians, you should bite your tongue and watch what you say.

OOC: Caz, be realistic. You just formed your military, so a lot of it's going to be in the training/development stages. As well as the fact that they're currently engaged with the Cyconi you invented to get back all of Yarkai and have an excuse to form a military.

Official Government Response

We laugh at these outlandish claims. The only nations ever to exist that could possibly make such claimes would be the former Echo Empire, the former Holy Sound Empire, and the former Sound Empire. And those are long dead. Our nations have never extanged relations before, and I would like to keep it that way. We are very nationalistic and do not like such random nations claiming our territory. If it would satify you we would send a diplomat to you nation to discuss this matter further and possibly talk some logic into you.

Hegemony, Cazelia gear up for war yet again

SNN, Alexandria- It seems that the group of nations known as the Hegemony just can't stay out of trouble these days. Just recently in the headlines for their brush with disaster in British Londinium - when Lord Sumguy's overconfident assertions that his alliance could keep the Londinians in check were thrown embarrasingly back in his face - the Hegemony is now looking at a new foe in the Genite nation. Seeking to make good an old claim on territory currently occupied by Hegemony nations, the Genites have begun gearing up for war, and the question on everybody's lips is whether the Hegemony can escape from its legacy of poor decisions in international politics and questionable military actions in time to save them from the Genites. Fortunately for the Hegemony, however, the Cazelians have stepped in and drawn Genite wrath - political commentators mentioned the oft-repeated assertion that with the legendarily inept Cazelians in the fray, the Hegemony might be able to enjoy a counterbalance of good karma. Cazelia, Hegemony defiant in face of Genitian pressure

The small, third-world nations of the Hegemony, most especially Cazelia and Lord Sumguy, have refused to comply with Genitian requests asking for the return of illegally acquired lands.

The disputed land, spread throughout Lord Sumguy, Cazelia, Zoingo, the Far Echo Islands, and other Hegemony nations, was apparently seized by force whilst the Genites busied themselves with domestic affairs.

"It is inevitable that smaller, poorer nations will take advantage of a power's internal troubles to seize land and other goods," Dr Andrew Stark, director of the Cicero Institute, commented. "It's the only time that they are able to without being mercilessly crushed."

Many within the Londinian Parliament have vehemently argued for an invasion of the Hegemony due to continued defiance towards the Commonwealth and, now, the illegal seizure of Genitian lands.

"Hegemonic disrespect for the greater powers of the world has gone on long enough!" declared Conservative leader Sarah Halifax, MP for Pembroke Springs. "Perhaps a third - or would it be fourth? - invasion of their pathetic excuses for nation-states will finally teach them a lesson."

For now, however, Consul Dame Flavia Davidson has urged a less militaristic approach for the situation, and the Socialist-controlled Senate has been happy to oblige, passing measures detaining all Hegemonic citizens indefinitely and prohibiting trade with Hegemonic nations that refuse to recognize Genitian land claims.

International Land Crises Solved, or is it?

According to Zoingonian officials, after going through official Hegemony land contracts, purchases, and territorial claims papers, they found the document stating the given land that is currently disputed. The land in dispute was actually purchased long time ago by the Hegemony and other nations. But, upon a glance, only half of the document was found. .Apparently the side with the signatures is missing, and cannot be at this present time usable to claim that the lands our ours. So now we know the blatent truth, but we have no way to officialy prove it, but the question remains, where is the other half of the document, the more important half? How will this affect involved countries, like Zoingo? Which were some of the disputed land includes the lowland areas around Canalive City and Villezoingonia, the 2 most historical cities in our nation. And more importantly, what will happen next?

Official Decleration from the United Republic Congress and the Galactic Republic Congress, Through Unity by and in Anagonia

It has come to our attention that the Hegemony(Typo?) has perhaps falsely laid claims to a piece of land. We don't give a rats hoot about that. This situation started with one nation threatening another, as everything does. Then esclated to some stupid point that we really don't care about. What we DO care about is the future ramifications of such an incident and the possibility of the Hegemony's collapse.

The United Republic of Anagonia, bound by the Galactic Republic of Anagonia and it's seven Province-Nations, therefore declares that any attack against the Hegemony will be an attack against Anagonia. We will not tolerate any gameplay or hostilities to Lord Sumguy or his allies. We have found them satisfying and will continue to lend our ENTIRE military MIGHT, whether Space-bound or Earth-bound (FT or MT), to the Hegemony.

HOWEVER, let it be known that the Galactic Congress, along with the Republic Congress, passed yesterday the TERMS of this agreement. The Hegemony MUST NOT enter hostilities with British Londinium, Shazbotdom, Automagfreek(duh on that!!!!!), Red Tide(2), or any of our declared allies should they point that out(seriously). Anagonia feels the need to protect the Hegemony, as it's existance amuses and seems relevant to us. We will not, however, assist if the Hegemony initiates conflict within the grounds of imperialism.

Three conditions must be met to be qualified for full use of Anagonian Might:

1. Opposition must initiate hostilities first.
2. Opposition, if conflicting with 1st qualification, must endanger the existance of the Hegemony.
3. If conflicting with first or second qualification, opposition must not be in Peacekeeping initiatives.

These qualifications have been clearly outlined and presented in a manner appeasable and easily connected with any of the Hegemony's opposition. Therefore, this concludes our statement.

Also, according to our Chief of Foreign Affairs, Shazbotdom is God. All bow before him.
