(this is my first RP, based on international terrorism, I read the rules and looked at threads to see how things worked, so I hope I don't fuck it up too bad)
FutureLight Research is an underground, illegal research corporation, widely known for it's extreme abuse of animals in experiments. It was outlawed in the FFSA after undercover animal rights activists exposed its brutal methods of vivisection. Further investigation by the government now shows that FutureLight was involved in the production of many new, unconventional weapons. These weapons, some of them highly dangerous, were traced, and found to have been sold for billions of *insert currency here* to Islamist terror cells, and to many rogue nations and dictators across the world.
More recently, FutureLight has scattered and relocated its operations, most of them to right-wing, pro-market nations. It is proven that they are continuing the production of weapons, many of them biologically based, and still heavily involved in animal cruelty and illicit arms dealing.
The International Animal Liberation Front, whose unofficial leader is operating in an unknown location within the Federation of Free Socialist Allies, has declared an all-out war against FutureLight. The leader, known by the media as EarthX, has ordered all animal liberation activists around the world to engage in direct action against the corporation.
Last week, bombs were set off at the area of 2 animal research labs, and at the home of a man believed to be within the inner circle of the FutureLight board, killing him and his wife. In response, FutureLight released nerve gas at an animal rights protest, poisoning many protestors, bystanders, and policemen.
FutureLight, backed by many lobbyists from animal test labs, has demanded that all governments legalize its operations, and jail all animal liberation activists. The ALF demands that the governments of the world take immediate action against FutureLight, and that any government who allows FutureLight to operate or purchases weapons from them will be legitimate targets.
The general media is treating this situation as a war between 2 terror groups, and with rising civilian casualties across the world, people are demanding their governments take action.
