The Socialist States of The World Soviet Party hereby announce the creation of a new elite corps inside their army, the Staat-Truppen and it's air wing, the Staat-Truppen Luftstreitkräfte.

These new units will be tasked with the protection of the capitol and major cities within the nation and, as such, they will be provided with the best training and equipment avaliable, which would basically be the same the "normal" army recieves.

It's still unknown how many men will form part of this special group, nor who will command it, but be sure we are working on it.

Furthermore, and in order to bolster diplomatic relations with nations around the world, an officer exchange program shall be initiated to obtain, and give, an insight on the different styles and organizations of foreign Armed Forces around the globe.

The Department of Defense would like to point out that we are, so far, completely unimpressed with the Staat-Truppen and the Luftstreitkräfte that accompanies them. Any Allanean elite unit -be it the Airborne, the Marines, or even the Eagle Scouts – is completely and undeniably superior to the Staat-Truppen in every respect. They are nothing but a unit designed to further Soviet oppression of their own people. We would like to express our hope that the Soviet government has a terrible accident.
