OOC:

Okay, I have updated the map. I need opinions on it before we continue the RP. I want it to have enough information so that anyone can jump in and start RPing along with us.

Here > http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/dd150/PDRG/UpdatedMap.png is the updated map. Look at it and tell me what else needs to be added. Thank you.

EDIT:

Thanks to everyone who has participated so far, check the map and if it is okay let me know. I have to go for a couple hours but I will be back on tonight sometime to continue the RP. Again thanks to everyone who has participated thus far.

OOC: Excellent. This is all I really need to plan our forces' movements.

OOC: Looks good enough. The rivers extending into rebel territory will make decent smuggling routes. Especially the one with the city of Mintersburg next to it. ;)

Let first forces arrive... Tagharad will provide extreme long range artillery bombardment for your guys. Just be sure to provide correct coordinates or the port facilities will go bye-bye.

Should armies be posted here?

OOC: I got done with what I had to do in the RL World faster than expected...
Anyway. Thats great. We just have to work out a few other things and we will be ready to roll. One of the first things we need to figure out is the order of battle, which cities come first. I think we should RP a battle for Aebsbourg first since it is a port city and holds the National People's Airport as well as several armories. Plus it will give allied forces a better vantage to take control of other cities.

You should post detailed descriptions of the forces you will be sending.

I think most of us are. But this will probably be an extended thing and I don't want to get screwed up. I am confident the first IC War RP post will be made sometime tonight.

K, I know I'm new to the forums, game, etc but I figured I'd throw in my 2p anyway. (And if I say something already covered previously I do apologise, it's late and I'm suffering from sleep deprivation).

Useful stuff to go on a map:
A description of the climate & terrain outside of cities.
Main road & rail links throughout the country.
Location of all Airfields/Airports capable of taking military traffic.
Known rebel positions/concentrations.
Suspected rebel headquarters.

I know most of this stuff is not necessarily needed to make this RP work particularly the details of rebel positions as that'd give the game away. It's just that I like to be thorough.

Tagharad Expeditionary Force, Gaellecia

Datafile: 64773-8757-A

Commander: N. Tagaziel

Contingent size: Moderate

Mission profile: Reclamation, anti-guerilla warfare

Size:

Infantry: 2,000 Shock troopers, 2 Divisions: XVII "Forgotten Ones" and VIII "Angels"

100 officers, 1900 regular soldiers

Divisions carry assault, recon, demolitions, anti-tank and suppression specialists.

Armor: 250 main battle walkers, organized into 50 deployment units. Suggested infantry support: 4 soldiers per walker.

Each MW-569 Seraphim walker is a hexapedal war machine. Heavily armoured, they resemble crabs and can wrap up into something resembling a massive rock. They are primarily equipped with twin hi-power autocannons on one arm and a tank cannon on the other. Exceptional at all terrain navigation and urban combat.

Artillery: 150 "Divine Wrath" extreme long range artillery units.

Each unit carries either an LRBM launcher or a massive caliber siege cannon designed for long range area saturation. The missiles can be swapped appropriately for smaller types, with less payload. These weapons are primarily designed for destroying areas and saturating them with explosives.

Special forces: Tagharad's elite. These 350 brave men and women are trained to be the most dangerous and capable soldiers. No further information can be disclosed.

Special forces can be deployed at the discretion of Commander Tagaziel and only with his approval.

Overview: Primarily designed for storming, the Tagharad expeditionary force is to be deployed where the fighting is most fierce and bloody, primarily for assaults and overwhelming the enemy.

Long range bombardment platforms are designed to be used against enemy stationary targets: camps, stockpiles, command centers, overrun city districts.

Special forces are tasked with attacks against rebel infrastructure and command hierarchy.

Post updated with a statement from the Caelapene Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Also, since I'm going to open up a cartography service here in the near future, I figured I'd use yours as a test. It's made to look like the CIA World Factbook maps.
