The Kingdom of Tristan Providence is a tiny, pleasant nation, remarkable for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working, intelligent population of 5 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often.
The medium-sized government juggles the competing demands of Law & Order, Religion & Spirituality, and Defence. The average income tax rate is 12%. A healthy private sector is led by the Uranium Mining industry, followed by Cheese Exports and Book Publishing.
Crime is a problem. Tristan Providence's national animal is the skylark and its currency is the USD.

The Kingdom of Tristan Providence is a small nation. Its widest part is around 225 miles. It is located on the coast of a gulf. The Geography of Tristan Providence is mostly plains. Some rolling hills. St. Augustine grass is prominent in the plains. The hills have such resources as uranium and coal. On the west side of Tristan Providence is a small range of mountains reaching 356 miles high.
On the coast of Tristan Providence it is mostly a tropical climate. Palm trees and sand are predominating. An island 10 miles off the coast is also occupied by Tristan Providence. It is mostly tropical. Beaches and sand dunes. A small volcano dominates the center of the island. It is inactive though.
Climate:
Mostly temperate, but tropical on the coast, semiarid in the west; low winter temperatures in the north are ameliorated occasionally in January and February by warm chinook winds from the eastern slopes of the Mountains.
Government:
The Government of Tristan Providence is a constitutional monarchy. A constitutional monarchy is a form of government established under a constitutional system which acknowledges an elected or hereditary monarch as head of state, as opposed to an absolute monarchy, where the monarch is not bound by a constitution and is the sole source of political power. The process of government and law within a constitutional monarchy is usually very different from that in an absolute monarchy.
The Head of State of Tristan Providence is the King or Queen. The Government is run by the Prime Minister and Parliament. The Prime Minister appoints his cabinet of minister’s incharge of the sections of Government. Parliament votes and drafts laws into being in Tristan Providence. There are a total of 10 seats in Parliament. 2 for each Duchy.
The Kingdom is divided into Duchies. Much like states the counties elect there own local officials. Except for the Duke or Duchess who is the Head of the Duchy. Each Duchy has 2 seats in Parliament.
