Open Communication to Nations of the World

The Minor Nation Space Coalition (MNSC) is being formed by Fordock. It is an alliance of smaller nations (Under 300 Million at join) in which the goal is to get a space program running. Being small it is hard for nations of our size to denote enough resources to get a program but if we unify and persevere we can soon have a space program. That said the Terms of joining the Coalition are

Terms to Join

25% of your Annual Transport Budget

Willing to pay for and establish a MNSC base in your State

Agreement not to declare war on any other member

Agreement not to take over the Space program

Having a population of under 300 Million

Aims and Goals

To successfully launch a Multi-national manned Space Craft

To have each member state launch national manned Space Craft

To build a Functional Space Station for Long Term Residence

When All Goals Are Achieved

The Coalition will dissolve

The Space Station will be auctioned off

National programs will continue to exist

Sincerely
Kichler

The Allied States of Faxanavia, having examined your offer thoroughly, has agreed to join this coalition. 20,500,000,000 USD will be allocated towards this coalition upon approval, and this income will continue annually.

We of the Empire, as we have 3 billion people, and a state-of -the-art space program and station of our own, are unable to join. However, we will gladly provide funds or consultation to the MNSCF.

We thankyou for your recognition of our application.
OOC: Can I make a suggestion? Why are we auctioning off the space station? we should just keep it as a join coalition space station.

Understood. Possibly, when the MNSCF is ready, we could launch a joint scientific program between the two stations.

OOC - Because I am worried someone will nationalize and the whole point of this alliance is something lose and not to binding.

We thank you for your concern but at this time would prefer to the finical liberty of not accepting. We appreciate the offer though.

Even though we do qualify for joining the MNSC, we prefer not to.

however, we are willing to donate $50 billion USD yearly for the organization.

Thank you,

How can you launch a space craft in this game? It doesn't seem to be written into it?

Neither is war, or trade, or anything we do here. The stuff on your nation page is quite different from what goes on here. This is where you can add more to your nation than a few drop-down fields, and where you can intereact with other nations, economically and militarily, and build up a culture and technological mainspace for your country.

It's all completely written out. Almost every logical interaction that would take palce in the real world is written out on these boards as a story.

Up, up, went the vast unending structure. After much plotting and thinking, the new Faxanavian Space Center was being constructed in West Faxanvia, just a few miles from the capital. Parts were being flown in and air dropped. Several tiny nuclear reactors were being brought in for power. The design teams were already hard at work, building and designing the space station.

Charles Vedder had always dreamed of working with astronauts. Now, his dream had become true. Vedder had started his political career as the Sub-minister of External space based defense. But he had rien quickly through the ranks, and was now in his newest job. He had been appointed the Faxanavian Minister of Space Based Programs. He smiled. This was a dream come true...
