Name: Anti-Torpedo Netting

Model: ATP-01

Purpose:The purpose of the Anti-Torpedo netting is to provide extra protection against hostile water based explosives- Torpoedos, mines, etc.
The netting is also usable for other non-military purposes such as keeping a local beach free from predetorial and dangerous aninmals such as sharks, sting rays, etc.

Construction: The netting is constructed in four parts:
1. Float : The float is created mainly from water-proof nylon and other fabrics that have a high tolerence for use and wear. The inside of the Float is created from boyancy gel which negates the need for re-airing or the need to fix or patch holes in an inflatable unit.

2. Netting: The netting is created from super polished steel to avoid rusting and othe ill-effects of salt water. The steel also gives it a high tolerence to damage it may received from impeding a torpedo or intercepting a water mine. Making it useable during prolonged combat

Netting ( fabric mesh ): The fabric mesh around the netting also gives the unit an added sense of stealth as it will retain alge and other sea plats that grow in the area making it hard for the enemy to see and counteract.

Weight: The wieght at the bottom of the netting is designed to keet the netting in place while in operation while not allowing much room from give, reducing the chance of a torpedo of ramming its way through the netting

Development: The netting was in development with Weapons-tech Industries as a means to protect Ally ships from hostile vessels and to protect shipments of products produced by WTI. The nettings development took approx. 5 years through serises of tests and tweaking.
Development costs to date: 5.6 million USD

Current cost of production:
$120,000- small unit
$510,000 for large unit

Current total development costs of the system has reached 5.6 million USD. The average cost of Research and Development per unit is around 10,000 USD. These costs have yet to be off set by sells. We would be delighted to accept your help in furthure development of our system. As of now we are struggling to continue development due to funding.

We offer 10.2 million for the DPR rights. We have nations with off shore assets as well as our own and feel this is good deterent to foreign enemies as well as fierce predators.

We like the ships design, and this ship would be feasbile to deploy and recover the nets. But I also want us to begin development on a tube luanchable system so it can be deployed from a distance.

I am working on a model now.
