People's Sovereign Dominion of the Atlantian Isles

"Today, amidst a Londinian restoration of the monarchy, Empress Elizabeth IV officially announced the union of the Atlantian Isles and British Londinium," a smart-looking news reporter said into her microphone, in front of the backdrop of downtown Atlantis City. "Here we are, live at Atlantis City, viewing the official extension of Londinian sovereignty over the Atlantian Isles."

A column of Londinian Royal Army soldiers marched proudly down a broad, tree-lined avenue in the Atlantian capital, the medals and decorations pinned to their dress uniforms glistening in the early morning sun. Their destination: the Atlantian Constitutional Tower.

At precisely 0745 hours, the Atlantian flag billowing at the top of the tower was lowered by a squad of soldiers, replaced by the proud Londinian standard, and, beneath it, the yellow ensign of the new People's Sovereign Dominion of the Atlantian Isles, the latest addition to the Empire.

I wish to personally congratulate the Empress on her successful ascension to the throne of British Londinium as well as her dominion over the Atlantian Isles. This will be a promising development for the country and we hope to see the territories of the Atlantian Isles integrated as a prosperous and powerful region of the United Kingdoms.

Moments ago, former Atlantian Crown Prince, Emperor William III of British Londinium arrived and began speaking of the Atlantian citizens.

"The Atlantian Parliament took a census yesterday to see how many Atlantian citizens approved of this unification, and who didn't. These were the results: 97% approval; 2% abstain; and 1% against.

"The Atlantian Parliament will continue meeting in the Atlantian Constitutional Tower and will hold the legislative powers of this new Londinian Province. I would also like to announce that The Atlantian Isles has taken a new name:
The Londinian Imperial Province of The Atlantian Isles, commonly called, 'Nova Atlantis'."
