The Coalition of Allied Powers

The Coalition of Allied Powers is an alliance dedicated to preserving the right of its sovereign members to do as they please.

Charter of the Coalition of Allied Powers

1. The Coalition of Allied Powers (Coalition, CAP) is hereby established to defend and attest the sovereignty of its member nations.

2. The Circle of the Coalition of Allied Powers (herein the Circle) is hereby created.
a. The Circle shall be made up of no less than three Coalition nations elected by all Coalition members.
b. Members of the Circle shall be known as Councilors.
c. All decisions involving the entirety of the Coalition shall be decided by a vote held among the Circle.
d. The Circle shall have the ability of amending the Charter of the Coalition of Allied Powers if a simple majority of the Circle votes in favor of the amendment.

3. Any preemptive military offensive carried out against any member nation of the Coalition of Allied Powers shall be construed as a military offensive upon all member nations of the Coalition.
a. Coalition member nations are expected to provide military assistance to aid fellow Coalition member nations.
i. Essential defensive forces, policing forces, or otherwise engaged forces of a Coalition of Allied Powers member nation are exempt from this expectation.
ii. Member nations who neglect their duty in responding appropriately to a conflict in accordance with Coalition Charter § 3(a) are subject to sanctions and/or removal from the Coalition of Allied Powers.

4. The Coalition of Allied Powers shall not seek to mandate, control, or regulate the use of any weapons systems employed by its member nations.

5. The Coalition of Allied Powers shall not seek to approve or condemn the actions of its member nations.
a. Member nations which defy any section, § 5 notwithstanding, of the Coalition Charter are hereby exempt from the protection against the condemnation of its actions.

6. A multinational Coalition rapid response force (herein Coalition RRF) is hereby established to defend the ideals implied in this Charter and the sovereignty of member nations of the Coalition of Allied Powers.
a. Member nations may choose to contribute medical staff, logistics forces, combat forces, or any combination of the above.
i. Member nations may petition the Circle for exemption from Charter § 6 if their nation has a sufficient reason to desire exemption.
1. “Sufficient reason” shall be decided on a case-by-case basis by the Circle.
b. The Coalition RRF shall be commanded by a military official chosen by the Circle from the Circle member nations’ military commands.
i. The title of the Coalition RRF commander shall be “Commander-General.”

7. All member nations of the Coalition are required to provide aid to any other Coalition member that is in a situation such that aid is deemed required by the member nations of the Circle.
a. “Aid” includes, but is not limited to, economic and humanitarian missions.

8. The Coalition of Allied Powers shall not seek to mandate, control, or regulate the position of its member nations in any other alliance, regardless of that alliance’s political, economic, or other ideologies.
a. Alliances which have declared war with the Coalition of Allied Powers or have otherwise brought injury to a member nation of the Coalition of Allied Powers are exempt from the Coalition’s restrictions as outlined in Charter § 8.

The following nations are now Circle members:

Also, the following sections of the charter have been amended:

Section 3, clause B, which formerly read:

"b) The CAP shall not officially assist in invasions."

has been amended to:

"b) The CAP shall assist in invasions where there is legitimate interest by the CAP."

Following this, certain criteria must be met for the CAP to get involved in invasions.

Section 3, Clause A, which read:

"a) All forces of a nation in the CAP are expected to come to the aid of the attacked nation."

now reads:

"a) Nations in the CAP are expected to provide as many forces as possible for the aid of a fellow CAP nation
i) This does not include essential defensive, policing, or otherwise engaged forces of a CAP nation.
ii) Nations who do not supply forces according to CAP rules are subject to sanctions and/or expulsion from the CAP"

Unfortunatly I cannot lend my military to assist in BL's battle. AMF's involvement against BL was seen as acceptable by...well...me. I will not, also, get involved with BL. So, if you do I'll have to stay out. I respect both AMF and BL too much for that.
