The Bloody Sunday War Update

The Bloody Sunday War as it has been dubbed is between the Ryou black Islands and their allies including the Mandolorians, and the Grestonians who have tried to invade the Confederacy of the Far Echo Islands. Fordock, Zoingo, and the Kiravian Empire have responded to try and help defend the Confederacy of the Far Echo Islands.

Recently PR insults have been hurled back in forth with competing movies showing the other side committing atrocities. It is believed the Ryou Island's movie is in-factual and heavily edited.

Recently a Fordockian Prisoner of War was beheaded which clearly violates the rules of Engagement. Fordock realeased a statement saying it will atempt to hold to honour but if the Ryou Islander's continue this Fordock will have to respond in kind.

The Allied Forces assisting the Confederacy of the Far Echo Islands have made individual statements planning on invasion to help the Ryou Islander's out from underneath their oppressive Government.

Shark Tooth Oil Conflict

Recently the Ryou Black Island's national company Shark tooth oil has come under attack be mysterious elements. Who has done this is unknown but the motivation is clearly to protect world markets from the oil. As one economist elaborates "They are selling so cheap they are going to drive the world out of business and then Jack the price up. The only way to do this would be to have the government back them up meaning it is clearly a state owned company." More on this as the Story Develops

British Londominium Comes up with New Ship

The good people at British Londominium have come up with a new type of ship for sail. It is called a Davidson Class ship and seems to be a super dreadnought. The retail price is somewhere above 1 trillion. They are currently advertising a 50% discount for a good photo for marketing. This ship is the latest in their bigger=better campaign as one Fordockina economist put it. No major change to naval warfare is expected. Just one more ship that has bigger guns.

Praetorial Ball

A ball is being held in honor of of the new Praetor of Vetalia. It is open and nations have been encouraged to attend to get to know the culture and establish friendly relationships. Security is being provided but you must RSVP your diplomat now if you wish to attend. The new Praetor is Valerian Kosyachenko.

Mondothian attacks on British Londominium

Mondothian's have hired mercenaries with letters of marque to attack British Londominium. The Mondothian's attack might be a heavy blow coming on top of the changing of the guard in British Londominium. The Mondothians clearly seem to be the aggressor and the charges are little to none so it can be concluded this is an imperialist attack upon a socialist Nation looking to reform their once Evil ways. More on the story as it develops.

Letter to the Editor

The Bloody Sunday War got especially bloody this sunday, casulities have now numbered into the millions, and neither nation seems to be backing down. What is your opinon to what the Echoese response to the chemical attack on Neo Savannah should be. Quite frankly, I say we have nukes, why don't we use them? But there is perhaps a better alternative, and I ask you, Editor, what would you do, without using WMD's, do now if you had command of the Far Echo Islands?

Sincerely,
John Stozzel

Dear John Stozzle,

I am sorry to hear of your Casualties and I am sure Fordock is too. In regard to your question in my humble opinion if I were in control of The Far Echo Islands I would try to step up continual bombings against their leader. The Ryou Black Islanders appear deluded and cannot think for themselves. If you kill the head the body will die. Other ways in which I might respond would be to find out their national taboo and practice it openly.

Sincerely,

Letter to the Editor:

Dear Sir,

The Ryou Black Islands has recently been cheap and has tried to take the back way out of everything we through at him. We have been counteracting the situation, but with no luck. We have heard that TRBI is also related to Hateria or something like that, which everyone else claims is a big wimp and is a godmoder. Should we continue to put up with this, or should we create a thread about him already loosing the war and his teritory being divided up?

Thanks for the advice,

To whom it may concern:

I find myself disagreeing wholeheartedly with your brief article regarding the new Davidson-class superdreadnought. These supercapital vessels are integral to the dominance of any blue water navy. Contrary to what your reporters think, the LNV Sir Alistair Davidson and her sister ships have not been built simply to fulfill a "bigger is better" philosophy. Indeed, the Davidson serves to assist in the creation of what some naval strategists call the 'fleet in being', a naval force that extends a controlling influence without ever leaving port. This allows the Londinian navy to exercise sea denial without actually deploying vessels from port.

Just because your reporters cannot grasp military strategy does not mean the Ministry of War cannot.

Sincerely,
An Indignant Londinian

Dear Indignant Londinian

We respect your opinions but disagree. It is not that the Davidson is a bad ship but the cost for upgrading to what we see as being only minorly bigger and not worth the cost of say using that money and building 10 other ships. For example the point being if you stuck a Davidson in the 19th century and you were against everyone eventually you would get mobbed and defeated. Quality is good and mus be exercised but if it is at the Expense of most Quantity than it is useless. I hope this manges clarify our opinion.

Dear Roland J. Massaquine,

The Ryou's must make a decision. Do they wish to role play in one way or another. They can do the fair way where everything counts and everyone is equal and it is all decided on skill. Or they can chose to do it the realistic way in which sometimes you get dog piled and wiped out and other times you get lucky and destroy your opponents. Thus if he tries to do both and continues with his ignore cannon rampage as evidenced by the Shark tooth oil conflict he will have to be dealt with. The best way to do this is to present an ultimatum and clearly talk it out in fair and just tones so that there exists no bad blood. Behind every n00b lays a good poster. It is the job of those who know much about the forums to help that player come out as the investment of that time is worth it in the outcome of a nation which it is enjoyable on a tactical level to fight against. I hope this helps.

Hataria... errr... Ryou Black Islands is not a n00b. He is far to old to be a n00b. He was here noobing it up before you kids were in elementry school. Unfortunately, unlike 99% of noobs, he never developed into a decent RP'er, and is now using the ignore cannon as if it were an actual IC weapon. I believe the only way to counter act this is for a massive, unilateral, global ignore bombardment of Hataria once and for all.

All the News that Effects everyone. What FIN is all about.

War Games

War games have been announced on an international scale. They are ongoing. The situation is an imperialist attack garnering support and dragging in a series of alliances similar to what happened in WWI. The current participants
are Faxanavia, Noctiana, Jenrak, Cookesland, Orzio, Barage, Coliformia, Vanek Drury Brieres, New Brittonia, NC-Oakwood, Antigr, Versus Mokastana, Uiri, Hurtful Thoughts, Alfegos, NeoAztec, Soulforge Cathedral, Bull Horns Rule, and Orbath. It seems to be a good training exercise but is sad that in a world such as ours, Militaries must be constantly trained and ready for combat.

Hegemony Alliance Returns From the Dead

The Hegemony aliance has been reborn by Lord Sumguy. He stated "The Holy Empire of Lord Sumguy is officialy re-creating the international organization known as the Hegemony. Currently, nations are needed who wish to assist in writing the charter. The organization will be nearly identical to the first Hegemony, with the only change being the overall intent of the organization, which will now focus less upon the military aspects, and more upon humanitarian services and aid". This organization apears to be peacful and to try and hope new nations that arise however we wonder aloud if it realy just is going to turn out to be another EVIL. What happens is very much up to the new leader Lord Sumguy.

Tigerlan-Spectare Alliance?

Tigerlan and Spectare have created an trade agreement. These are two large military powers and also right wing heavily Government controlled. The people know no freedom. Despite stating public goals this looks like the next EVIL to many as evidenced by these quotations from people off the Street."

"Two Powerful nations form an Economic alliance? They are both right wing shit holes? Sounds like EVIL, Imperialism and war to me. I think someone should just nuke them now."

Others are more confident:

"Really it isn't that bad. Give peace a chance. I mean you have to change sometime and maybe now just happens to be that time. We should really let it play out to see what is going to happen and give them some time before we react."

More Coming as the Story Develops

Film Festival of Sijitalatirikimidateme tani

In lighter News the film Festival of Sijitalatirikimidateme tani has begun. This is a friendly competition in a nice warm climate. Many nations have films being judged. You can still enter Films as well. Just provide some information and they will take a luck at your film and judge it. We will give you the resaults when the film festival Concludes.

Alfegos Makes New corporate Ventures into Other nations

Alfegos has been spotted making many new corporate ventures in other states. The example can be seen in AIM their new phone line which they hope to sell in other countries. They have begun to sell their satellite channels world wide. This is called Sunrise. They state themselves "Sunrise, the Alfegos Satellite Network, is looking to expand into other nations." They have also built a new port probably to ship out their goods. This port is massive having 22,000 hectares, and 100 dock areas. They are even selling some of their space!

This is suspicious. Why are they trying to export their own communication industries? Are they trying to present some sort of giant propaganda. Or are they simply trying to gain more money. However efforts like this seem like they have a purpose. Could this mean war is brewing?

Shark Tooth Pressured to Raise Prices

After the Shark tooth conflict threatened to expand and the Ryou's were being attacked on all sides they eventually backed down. The price of oil was raised to a market Acceptable level. Government economist John Smin had this to say "It is not wrong to have some state supported markets but these should only be for the essentials. If the Ryou's subsidize everything they have essentially said "screw the world market I want profit" which in fact is very bourgeois and capitalist. In this the very rich benefit from the poor. We do not want this. What we want is people not dieing in the streets from easily curable things. We also do not want people not doing anything. There is a medium that must be struck and that is socialism. With this Withdrawal back to more standard prices the Ryou's are back on track to a better world.

Civil War in Bjornoschkodel

Civil war is ongoing in Bjornoschkodel and conditions are deteriorating. Several governments are supporting one side or the other or sending humanitarian aid. The nation to rise our awareness of this was Solenial. If you wish to help FIN recommends setting up a donation collection in your own nation. Remember we can make a difference. Send humanitarian aid. Killing people doesn't help a conflict medicine does.

Noveta Trying to Industrialize

The Nation of Noveta has been trying to Industrialize and is looking for materials. This seems rather ridiculous as most nations are. Several people maintain that they are just trying to gain more materials possibly to start a war. It is also despicable that one should beg for materials. Nations should have dignity. If you rely upon another nation you lose your sovereignty. Government economist John Smin returns to help explain this.

"Basically" he begins "If you have to rely upon aid from a nation to make your products they control you. They have the ability to destroy you. Because of this you don't really own your nation. It is the same reason you are not independent as a kid because your parents give you food. You may claim independence but until you are self reliable you are not really independent. A great man once state "Control is the ability to destroy something" and by doing this Noveta allows another nation to destroy it's economy at will. And an Economy is the life blood of a nation."

Montaskan Socialist Crisis

Montaka has been having recent problems with so called socialist Uprisings. They have executed members of parliament and done other despicable acts and revocations of justice. The socialist leader is currently holed up in an unknown location. He had given a short broad cast asking for aid. This situation goes worse by the day and Fordock has officially classified it as Civil War and Montaka as a war zone.

According to John Smin, a governmental economist and frequent guest, this could destabilize the whole region. He puts it in plain terms here "Well see the problem with this is the impacts. In todays small world everything is interconnected. Every economy has effects on others. Now lets look at the Conflicts and problems that arise because of one nations failure to take proper legal action and allow legal protest.

The First thing to consider is the Montaskan Drug cartels. Now they are a major part of the world industry. They sell pretty cheap and have a good reputation. What happens though when the price of drugs rise? What happens when addicts can't afford their fix due to cartels restricting prices to pay for government protection? Riots or mass Deflation of industry. All countries that rely upon Montakan products for a certain industry can face an economic depression.

And those are the luck ones. If you get them mad enough what about riots? Then the order in your State is disrupted too. This can create a ripple effect. It is reasons like these and that any government cannot allow major trade to exist between themselves and any government that is subject to not being stable. The other way to prevent this is the increase or rights. Rights would allow peaceful protests. Something must be done soon thought or else the effects can be deadly to many a nation. The effects are too dear." Ladies and Gentlemen that was John Smin a government economist on the Montaskan Crisis.

Socialist Alliance Being Formed

Microkovljerakistan a micro-nation is attempting to form a socialist alliance. Their stated goals are to "We may see fit to make our own region, a noble southern bloc, a shining example to the world!" They advocate violence. However they have come under fire for their policies and have been criticized as a tin pot dictatorship that has nothing to do with socialism. A worker from the Fordockian department of Foreign affairs is here to explain.

"In socialism the point of the system is simply to make life better. It is mostly democratic. The difference being in socialism the poor don't starve. This is due to the fact that critical industries are controlled by the Federal Government. This means if worse comes to worse the government can take a hit to ensure the civilians survive. Obviously this doesn't' cover your more expensive tastes. Now the way to pay for this is a high tax that is a percentage. That way the rich pay how much they need to and everyone can afford it. There is still drive to compete though if you want luxury products. Again the goal of socialism is to bring the Very poorest food and help them by taking just a percentage of the Richer citizens money through taxes. if the Tax is 70% for your class because you are very rich then that isn't really a problem. If you are making 100 million a year then you are now only making 30 million. Boo hoo. However that can feed about 100,000 people for a year who otherwise would starve and die.

Communism in the other hand is a system proven to not work. In it the Government controls everything and because of this there is not drive to succeed. This is why Microkovljerakistan is wrong. They support an overruling dictatorship as is customary of Communism. Thus they just abuse their people and do not give them rights. We cannot allow this Tin pot Totalitarian dictaitorship to form a potentially deadly alliance. Thank you for your time"

Bloody Sunday war UPDATE

Just a quick update on the Bloody Sunday War front. Recently Stevid has attempted to shut the war down claiming that Ryou soil is sacred as they are part of some sort of holy Empire. They state the war may continue as long as no one attempts to invade the Islands. Fordock has sent a response trying to reason with them. The response argues that it is unfair as they will not surrender until they are totally beaten. Thus we can never end the war. The story will be updated as more info come in from that area.

Arts in the World

The new nation of Endopolis is trying to create an alliance based around cultural exchange. They propose creating a multi-cultural museum in every nation that belongs to this alignment with each section devoted to another nation. It remains to be seen how the nations of the world respond to this.

However a representative from the Fordockian state department is here to explain why this would be a good thing to join. "This is a good step to a better world. Through cultural exchange we can learn more about other and decide to stop needless wars. It is also a good way to transmit values to other nations. Maybe they have never heard of socialism and wish to try it out. To join it really isn't that hard either for a government and requires little commitment. Fordock encourages all parties to join it."

Civil War in PPP

In the state of Pro Patria Puritania there has been recent civil war. This war was started when the pope took control of parts of the armed forces and declared war upon the emperor who is regarded as holy. There has been rapid breakdown of law and Genocide is increasingly common. The War has been condemned by several nations. Humanitarien aid is also being sent by several nations. The emperor has namely leveled his own capital to attack killing many innocent civilians. The war grows nastier by the day. More on the story as it develops.

International village

In an attempt to bolster foreign relations and international village where various leaders could take a break to learn of local customs and such and further political understanding. It has been described as a "noble goal but unattainable" by Fordock. The village is open to accepting new leaders though and at the vary least it might be a nice break.

The Foreign Affairs Board (FABPACUN)

Dear Editor,

It is the opinion of this board that your "Socialist" press has committed the irrational act of intentionally misrepresenting the reality of the Communal Union of Noveta.

Your "Socialist" press says that we are looking for materials. Therefore, your "Socialist" press makes it look like to both the people your country and to the entire world that the Communal Union of Noveta lacks the natural materials needed to industrialize and thus we are selling ourselves out just so we can be loyal servants of Capital in some point in the future.

No, we do not lack these materials. We have untapped reserves of Uranium, Iron, Coal, Oil, Silver, Copper and Aluminum, in addition to the wine, foodstuffs and sugar cane industries that are currently providing us our income. In other words, we have the materials necessary.

What we are looking for is the industrial manufacturing machinery needed for us to build the industries that will tap into these vast natural resources and that will allow us to provide a life for our people that is at the same level as that of the countries that are in this world and that are industrialized. Moreover, we are only looking for (primarily) the opportunity to purchase the machinery, for our intention is to become independent of using the foreign machinery that we have purchased within a period of at least six years of us obtaining this machinery.

It is not like we are inviting foreign Capitalists into our country, giving away vast swaths of our land, allowing them to violate the sovereignty of the Communal Union of Noveta and destroying our attempts to achieve an industrialized real Communist society. That's what the neo-colonial Capitalists of the underdeveloped countries of the world do. And that is totally insane in our eyes.

It is also the opinion of this board that your "Socialist" press distorts the ideals of real Communism and that it is reflective of your "Socialist" government. It is disgraceful.

Sincerely,
Maurice Dumont
