An oversized carriage, that is all these tourists rides were. Obviously with no motor vehicles how does anyone see the sights? Aboard was [name of your character] one of the many tourists who flocked to Kurona, to see if it really was a nation semi-locked in time, or just had family there. "Over there is the Sonomi Memorial, it gives memory to the two greatest natural disasters that ever struck Sonomi. First the great flood in the October Storm Crisis of 2005, the second in the tornado that tore through this city. Many died in the disasters and many died trying to help thoes that could not be helped themselves. The memorials stand where a statue of her royal highness once stood. Her majesty demanded her statue be replaced with a memorial.

Meanwhile Tomoyo changed from her profesional royal attire into some sports wear. "I'm going down for a game. Be back before too long."

"Enjoy your self your majesty."

She entered the tennis court. For now she was all alone. She was reminded suddenly of when a tourist girl beat her several times. Now that girl was a citizen of this country. It made Tomoyo chuckle to her self. She began practicing

Charles Weaver was an Anglophone citizen of Latin Byzantines, his parents descended from English settlers of past centuries. He was a handsome young man who hoped to visit Kurona after hearing of a good offer from a travel agency. After exploring the city of Sonomi for a while, he went to the tennis court and found a young lady. Coming towards her, he extended his racket and calmly began talking to her.

"Would you like to play a game?"

They played a couple of games, with Charles coming out victorious in each one. After the last game, he looked at his opponent and smiled. "Thank you for the games, you are a good player you know."

"Your Grace!" Called an attendent. "Your grace, you forgot your personal racket."

"Thank you." Tomoyo said. She gave a bow and the attendent bowed as well.

"Well I guess it's obvious now, I am-"

Charles was amazed to see that his opponent was a princess, the reigning princess of Kurona and that he played with royalty without even knowing he did. He gave a bow before getting another look at his royal opponent and then, after thinking for a brief moment, asked Tomoyo a question. "Do you think you could.....show me around the city?" He was a bit nervous after that, after all he just asked a royal princess to be his tour guide.

It was more of an honor, Charles thought, that he'd be eating in the dining room of Kurona's reigning princess. The dining room looked splendid with all its decorations, typical of royalty. He took his seat, thanking Tomoyo and then waited to see what else she had to say to him.

(Yeah sorry for being so slow)

Tomoyo abrubtly turned and blushed. As the days passed on Tomyo's feelings for this person were growing. It was intresting but Tomoyo wasn't sure about them. It confused her and frightend her a little. A princess and a commoner? As old fassioned as it was the relationship was very regarded in a taboo fassion. Tomoyo's life and her crediblity as a Princess could be threatend. She went to the Shinto Shrines and prayed, meditated and conversed with her self. "I know it's wrong," She dictated outloud, "But my heart tells me something...My heart tells me he could be the one. But I have the honor of my father and my mother to think about. But I am the daughter, if I marry, I mark the end of the Mikanu family. Oh Mama, Papa, this would be so much easier if you were with me." Tomoy wrestled with her thoughts through the night. Her dream was facinating, she was conversing with her self. An exact double of her self.

"What is it your heart tells you?" Asked the double Tomoyo.

"That he is the one I love." Tomoyo responded.

"Your hear never lies. Put aside your thoughts, and put your heart where it is."

"I will. I will. I WILL!" Tomoyo shot up from her bed. She spedily raced to the hotel. She remained proper, tonight, she would propose.

"Hello Charles....I have a treat for you tonight...Dinner, and a special show of my appreciation for being a wonderful person. You will be the first non political figure to uhh well..." Tomoyo felt awkward. It wasn't her proposal but it was going to be where her proposal would be. The Royal Bath. A large almost swimming pool like sized tub where Tomoyo bathed. Onsen would be packed, otherwise she would take him to the hotsprings. "You get to use the Royal Bath. With me. I know it's strange but it's a Kuronan culture norm. Bathing together with close freinds is a culture norm."

Perfect, how could he refuse a culture norm?

When Charles was told he could be the first non political figure to use the Royal Bath, he accepted it and soon the time came for them to get in the baths. The minister went through all the things necessary for this marriage to be binding and true. Both Tomoyo and Charles gave their vows and oaths to each other in front of the many people present...and perhaps those watching this wedding on television if it was televised. It took quite a while for the wedding to be finished but for the newlyweds it was worth it entirely as they sealed the wedding with a kiss and as they went to where the after party was being held, everyone cheered and celebrated this occassion, this marvelous marriage.

Tomoyo's lips locked his and they gave the longest most pationate kiss they have ever had.

The private After party began, guest began to dance and eat and have fun. Still no alcholic bevarges were served (with Kurona's outlaw on it).

There was fashionably late and then there was stupidly late, David and Michaela Conroy were most definitely stupidly late. A terrorist alert had caused havoc at the airport and with the Prime Minister ready to take off no one knew what was going on but the PM’s safety had to be assured. Take-off was delayed for hours and thus he and his wife missed the wedding ceremony by a wide margin, however the party afterwards would be easily attended too despite the delay and it wasn’t long after the private had landed that the couple were whisked off in a saloon car towards a grand stately home where the party was being thrown.

“This is a really nice change.” Said Conroy to his wife while staring out the window out into Kurona. “Three wars plus this new one starting to get out of control and devolve into chaos and here I am on my way to a wedding.”

“I love weddings.” Said Michaela with a soft and sensual tone, obviously remembering her own. “It’s a shame we missed the ceremony because I would have liked to attend to that. But still, our safety had to be assured.”

She sounded sarcastic in her last sentence and it didn’t take a nuclear physician to see that she was really disappointed about not being able to attend the service. David took her hand smiled, something that always seemed to comfort her whenever she was down.

“Tomoyo is a woman of many words and today is a day that will live with her for the rest of her life, I bet she can’t wait to tell people who weren’t there about the ceremony. She’ll tell you everything you want to know. I’m here for two reasons really, this wedding and those blasted peace talks over this quite absurd Bloody Sunday War, I’m glad the population don’t really care at this stage… sorry. We’re not here for politics. Let’s just enjoy the party when we get there.”

Less than an hour later the car had pulled up to the building and Conroy saw a sight that he had learned to take calmly now, the flag of Kanami at the front of a car. The sight of such a flag filled him with dread only several months ago- now there was pride that two nations had found away around their obvious differences. He gave a half crooked smile, took his wife’s hand and walked into the building.

It took several minutes to make out Tomoyo amongst the crowd plus the fact that security insisted on identification before they proceeded. Several minutes later he saw Tomoyo and her new husband, a dashing man- from Latin Byzantines he believed, talking to none other than Eleanor Romany from the Republic of Kanami. Michaela sensed he was nervous and tightened her grip on his hand and guided him forward somewhat towards the couple, he regain some confidence and strode with and stopped a short distance from Tomoyo. She didn’t notice him at first but caught a glimpse in her eye and turn seconds later to be greeted by David and Michaela each wearing huge smiles on their faces.

“Congratulations milady.” Said David and both he and his wife bowed to both the Princess and this new chap she had married. “Terribly sorry we missed the ceremony, terrorist security at the airport held us up for several hours. I was not amused but none more so than my wife Michaela here whom you have not had the pleasure to meet yet.”

“Congratulations on your wedding milady.” Michaela said realising her cue had come.

“Michaela is quite passionate about weddings and so was sorely hurt when we missed yours. I assured her that you like to talk and that you would be more than willing to tell her about it, if that is alright with you ma’am? It is your wedding day- we’re all at your service today.”

Charles gave Elenore a handshake and smiled at her. "It is an honor to meet you." He talked to Elenore for a while about how he did not expect himself to be here, to be married to the monarch of Kurona, who he then complimented as being very pretty and charming. He then noticed Michela and David Conroy who he greeted casually and politely. "It is nice to meet you both." Charles said to introduce himself, knowing they already knew Tomoyo. Soon, other people caught Charles' eye.

A man dressed in a tuxedo with a beautiful young woman at his arm stepped into the room, flanked by some younger people. Those people were none other than Charles' family. "Charles!" the woman said, embracing her son as any mother would. "You must be Tomoyo. It is an honor to meet you." she said to Charles' new wife, bowing respectfully before the others did so too.

"Tomoyo, this is my family." Charles said to her as his family began to talk with the others. Charles' father studied Tomoyo and commented that Tomoyo was a lovely young woman. Charles' mother, who got a lot of looks for her own good looks, being a model and all, talked to Elenore and asked questions about how it was like to run Kanami.

Tomoyo soon found herself surrounded by three young people. The first was a young woman of around her own age and quite tall too. Her auburn hair tied up at the end and wearing a beautifully exquisite dress, she bowed to Tomoyo and then made way for a younger girl, about fourteen, who was similar in looks and wore a Victorian style dress and finally, a girl of thirteen (it happened to be her birthday today) came up to Tomoyo and the three girls, all Charles' siblings, told their new family member their names: Juliet, Violet, Amelia.

The party seemed to be going well and everyone enjoyed themselves. Charles went to talk to Tomoyo, he was curious about how they would live together. "Tomoyo, may I ask about my responsibilities, etc as a Kuronan monarch? What is the coronation like?"

(Kurona, I can edit this if Tomoyo wants to talk to Elenore or Michela/David)

Tomoyo was shown to her new family. Tomoyo's memories of her own parents were faded but Charles' mother beard resemblance to Tomoyo's own mother in some fassion.

"It's wonderful to meet you all. I'm very glad to be apart of your family, your son, he's wonderful. And I guess this will make us sisters now. I've never had any siblings before."

David Conroy was announced as he entered. "Will you excuse me please?" Tomoyo took a bow.

"Mr. Conroy," Tomoyo said with a bow. "I'm so happy you could attend. I was a little worried."

“Terribly sorry we missed the ceremony, terrorist security at the airport held us up for several hours. I was not amused but none more so than my wife Michaela here whom you have not had the pleasure to meet yet.”

“Congratulations on your wedding milady.” Michaela said realising her cue had come.

"Oh I understand, it's quite all right, I'm more than happy to fill in the details. Oh here he is, Charles, this is Prime Minister Conroy, my freind. Mr. Conroy, my new husband Charles. Please why don't you two, get some food, have a dance and I'll fill you in later. I would like to talk with Charles for a bit."

"Tomoyo, may I ask about my responsibilities, etc as a Kuronan monarch? What is the coronation like?"

"Well I don't want to overwhelm you right away. Your duties will be mainly to assit me, and should anything happen to me, you would take over as Prince in my place. Your coronation will be when we return from our honey moon."

Later on They sat down. David chatted with Charles while Tomoyo chatted with Elenore and Michela.

"Oh the cerimoney was wonderful Madam Conroy." Tomoyo was polietly urged to call her by her name. "If you insist madam. People lined up along the isles, each of us taking the owth of marriage. I also had a few Shinto presists here to give it my native touch."

"Her Majesty, Subaru Akoowa of Aqua Anu."

Subaru entred. "Thank you."

"Tomoyo-chan." Subaru gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I'm sorry I'm late, the weather was awful at sea. Six storms in a week. And Xanadou, wow, they aren't kidding. You must be Charles, I'm Subaru Akoowa, I'm Princess of Aqua Anu."
