The Emperor sat in his palace in Rio Villa, going over some datasheets. "Yes." he murmered. "Send messages to all these nations. It's time." The aide bowed and ran off with the orders.

The following message was sent out to a select few nations:
Greetings, fellow sentients. I am Emperor Foxfire Rose, inviting you to Rio Villa, Xiscapia, for a diplomatic confrence on a possible alliance between our and a few other nations. The date is set for (date). Please limit your guard amount to no more than 10, excepting for large groups, of course. Thank you, and hope to see you soon!

Kash had got his weopons and gear back after he heard of his homeworlds burning. he managed to work up enough money in Alversian trading, and was able to buy a transport, he also hooked up with 50 of his men that were also released, they boarded the transport and headed towards the meeting.

the presidential transport landed just outside the capital city. Walking Slowly out toward the transport was Sean Roberts III With him was his Personal Assistant Jorr-Ucch a member of the Algol race. Behind them marched a Presidential Escort of 10 Schwullunde Special Forces Troops. Just before they entered the president turned and looking out at the rest of the government officials he spoke. We will remain in Contact with you at all times, and our friends the Algol have upgraded the Transport so I will be safe. Never fear I will return.
with that he turned and entered the transport.

as the transport streaked out of system, it rippled and slowly vanished as its cloaking system was activated. just as it had cloaked it made the hyperspace jump toward the secret location of this meeting.



ooc i am using a few of my characters from g1 as well, saves me time trying to think up new ones.

The Emperor Foxfire Rose and his delegation waited for the arrivals. His party consisted of his wife, Jade, his personal ambassador, Vanadict, and several Black Guards. He saw the Schwullunde President, Sean Roberts III coming towards him, along with his guard. As the President came towards them Foxfire and his entire party bowed as though you would to an equal. "It is an honor to have you here." said Foxfire, noticing the blue katana on the President's belt from the last time they had met.
OOC: In my timeline this is after our RPG where I gave you the sword. I'm an now trying to think up another gift.

The Alversian Light Cruiser APS Impregnable burst out of space with it's destroyer and fighter escort. Aboard was the Prime Minister of Alversia, Herman Jacobi. He peered from the bridge at the magnificant sight of Xiscapia and Rio Casa. Impregnable glided into the atmosphere as the three XX-30's and two destroyers APS Apple and APS Appendix backed off to maintain orbit with the fighters. One of the Officers walked over to the Prime Minister and saluted "ETA 10 minutes, Prime Minister"

The bulky former Field Marshall nodded and turned to return to his quarters in order to get ready for his arrival. On the way down he stopped at peered one of the portholes as the trees and buildings near the port got closer and closer. He smiled at spoke quietly to himself, over the whine of the manouvering engines, nobody nearby could hear him

"Back at last"

An aide rushed up to Foxfire, giving a quick bow. "Sir, the Alversians are almost here." As he said this a huge shadow fell across the delegates. They all looked up to see the Alversian Light Cruiser gliding elegantly though the air. Foxfire smiled. "So I see." He turned back to the Schwullunde party. "I have a gift for you." he said, and signaled behind him. An aide came forward, a small black box in his hands. Foxfire took the box from him. He handed it, arms outstretched, to the President. "This box contains a stone. On the stone is enscribed the Xiscapian symbols for air, fire, water, and earth. If you carry this stone, the elements will bend to your will. Use it wisely, and not in anger or malice, for if you do the stone will never work again."

The message tower transmitted up to the APS Impregnable. "This is Xiscapian Ground Control to the APS Impregnable, you have been authorized to land in docking port 4, slot L. A hovercraft will meet you there to take you to the Emperor. Control out."

the President returns the bow with equal respect. He accepts the gift from the Emperor and says, think you Glorious Emperor for the magnificent gift. he then motions for one of the soldiers to bring over a small intricately carved sealed jade urn. Presenting it to the Emperor he says, we have brought you this. From our studies of such objects we have discovered that this object seems to contain the ashes of a great hero of old. It also seems to have the uncanny ability to sense danger in the presense of its owner. It should aid you in keeping your personage safe from any malace that should come your way. We have had no luck in discovering who is withen this urn, but from the writing on the side it would seem that they are from your Imperial Highness's people.


ooc thought this one up real quick. I will leave it up to you as to this objects possible history and how it could have turned up in a dig on a planet withen my sector. As you know i am always digging up planets looking for lost tech from before we arrived in the sector. we do occasionally find lost objects with mystical power(though some such objects are better left unfound, see one of my earlier threads lol) I just wouldn't get to currious about the contents of the urn as who knows what else it may contain:rolleyes: again left up to your own devious imagionation.

OOC: Thanks. As for your own gift, it's powers are slight. No tidal waves or earthquakes, put you can change currents (in both air and water), make instant fire, and make rocks move by themselves. Now I must think up gifts for the others.
IC: The Emperor bowed again, and he read the script on the side. "Xiomith suisom thiem, foso yuni quinm..." The script went on for about a paragraph, in Xiscapian language. The Emperor nodded to himself. "This is the urn of an ancient warrior, on known as Jryan. He went off in one of our first FTL ships ever invented, but was never heard from again. That was at least a thousand years ago...He was a great servant of Qonn, our God, which explains the mystical powers. His spirit is speaking from beyond the ashs." He bowed over the urn, then handed it to the aide with instructions to take it back to the palace. "If you'd follow me, our reception is in the palace."

Sensors blared and automated targeting systems came online. The two Battleships which had been in orbit to protect the delegates came to live, moving slowly forward. A message was sent to the isan fleet:

APS Impregnable glided slowly and carefully towards the dock before a sighing and a small jolt confirmed that they had docked safely. The door around the gun deck was opened as the crew poured out into the sunlight for some well earned shore-leave. They split up, laughing and joking, down the seperate alleyways which surrounded the Naval Dockyard.

Herman Jacobi stepped out behind four Democratic Guards to greet the emissary sent to collect him. To his left, he noticed the Flight Officer chatting to the Xiscapian Ground Crew about the ship and what she needed. It was stange that she could be abandoned so quickly but at the same time it was inevitable. Most of the crew had appartments or Family in the Xiscapian Capital and so they were keen to take advantage of the good weather before they had to return to the Alversian Monsoon season.

Jacobi walked down the gangway, escorted by no fewer than two dozen Democratic Guards, towards the Greeting Party. He grinned and saluted

"Alversian Prime Minister Herman T. Jacobi, here in your wonderful capital to meet the Emperor"

The party sent to see him, an aide and several guards, bowed. "He is now holding reception to the Schwullunde President in his palace. A speeder will take you there." A small blue speeder pulled up and the Alversian delegates were put inside, off to the Emperor's palace.

OOC: Define "near". Tell me how close you are and I will figure out if my sensors would detect you. If you are in the system or in the next system over, we control both systems and would see you. The reason we don't requnize you is that Galactic Spheres is entirely unrelated to this thread. I said isan fleet so NC wouldnt think I was talking to him, but ICly I don't know who you are. Lastly, only two battleships are in orbit because we don't expect any hostilites, and Protector can easily defend Xiscapia by itself long enough for ships to come to the system or be launched from the surface. It dosen't matter if you are near the meeting or not, we'll still pick you up.

The transport docked and out popped Kash and 10 GOU troops, the rest tended to the ship. He was amazed at how the Xscipians didnt destroy his weopons. He saw other ambassadors of different backgrounds, he made a almost holler towards them: This is the meeting right?!

IC: The aide turned and saw Kash, stifining slightly. North Calaverans were still intensly disliked on Xiscapia, due to war crimes and a NC regard as to all non-humans being "inferior" and "animals". Still, aide had a job to do. "Yes it is. Your speeder is here." Another speeder, bigger than the first, pulled up to take Kash and his guards to the palace.

The aide nodded. "The Emperor is meeting with the President of Schwullunde at the moment, you, the Alversian party, and all others will be greeted momentarily in the reception area." The aide bowed and strode away.

He looked at his men: Lets not do anything stupid.: he could tell the desire for his men to take this animal out and shoot it.

IC:Thank you for the information, we were having some difficulty with the translation. I beleave that I will send a bigger expodition to the planet that was discovered on to discover the fate of your people. we would be most honored if you wish to send an archiological expodition to th planet as well. I am glad that you have asked me to attend this meeting. I certainly hope that we can create a closer community among the nations of the universe.

The Emperor nodded. "Things have been well here. Come, we must get back to the palace to meet the other guests." he led the party back into the reception hall, talking all the while about Xiscapian acomplishments.

IC: Foxfire spotted the North Calaveran delegation. He strode over to them. "You were foes before. Now you come offering friendship." He took out a cloak from under his robes. "This cloak has the power to heighten your speed, strength, senses, and mental abilities for a short time. It is like a portable adrenaline rush. Use it wisely, and think of it as a gift from us to you."

Kash took the gift: it seems so, thanks: he put it away: first of all, is there anyway i can see my ship, it was once called the Lenin, no doubt you have it under your control.

Foxfire nodded. "Yes, we still have it. It has been extensivly modified, but is still mostly the same ship. If you want it back, you will need to trade another ship like it to us. Remember: We took it from you, it's ours."

Kash: May i see it? a visit perhaps?

The Emperor nodded. "I suppose." he called for a speeder to take Kash to the docks where the Lenin, now renamed the Freedom, was. The ride took about 10 minutes. They got there and there was the huge Observer ship, docked and being worked on by dozens of mechanics and techs.

Kash walked the corridors, the empty cells, and the virtual reality room where creatures were put into. He made his way to the bridge.

The President of Schwullunde nods politely to the North Calaveras Deligation.
Jorr-ucch seems to be engrossed in taking notes on a small device. he slowly strides around taking scans of several wallhangings. After he finishes he returns to his position behind the president. Speeking to the Emperor after Kash walks off, It would seem that that one is always angry.

The cells had been removed, now only a series of rooms stood in their place. The operating room had been fully removed. Many techs were inside the, busily outfitting the ship. Two Black Guards flanked Kash.

The Emperor nodded. "We warred with them in the past, and he was a captured General. He reguards all non-humans as inferior and animals, like the others of his race. We were preparing for a final assualt on their homeworld only to discover it had been destroyed by an unknown force."

One guard spoke. "We are here to escort you against any Xiscapian who may harbor bad feelings from the war." He didn't say it, but they were also here to make sure Kash did not attempt to resume control of his former ship.

Kash taped a few holograhpic buttons, a screen came up, it showed blue dots across a galaxy: that is locations of what is left of my people fleet, no doubt they kept away from Celestis after hearing of its fall, and if i press this button, i could alert them of my position. (30 Oberservers are what left of the Calaveran space fleet.

Kash pressed the button, seconds later the dots slowly began moving towards them.: They will be here in a week or two.

The Guard nodded. "Is that what you came for, then?"

Void Ship, this is Xiscapian Ground Command. You are authorized to dock at Space Station Protector, docking bay 9, slot G. Please bring along no more than 10 people or droids in your party. A shuttle will take you from the Station to the Meeting.

The cruiser pulled into the space station, and Commander Rok'atu's son, Sgt. Rok'atn, readied his accompaniment of one HK-47 grade droid. The droid was nicknamed 'Hachet', and had served Rok'atn since his birth. They awaited the shuttle that would take them to the meeting.

The stations ambassador met them there. "Your shuttle awaits." he took them to it. They boarded it and it took them down to the palace courtyard. "I believe the Emperor, the Alversian Party, the North Calaveran party, and the Schwullunde party's are already there. Just though those wooden double doors." said the ambassador.

"Thank you." said Rok'atn, nodding to the assistant. He walked through the doors, his guard droid following him.

The Alversians moved through the streets of Rio Casa on their way to meet the Emperor, they were enjoying the warmth of the capital in comparision to a washed out Illesia back home. Soon they arrived at the Palace and were ushered in to wait for the Emperor's invitation. John hoped it didn't take long, he wanted to get out and meet a few of his Veterans living on Xiscapia, there were few left but he would enjoy reliving the glory days with them anyway.

"Excellent!" John laughed before turning to the other Parties and bowing "An honour to meet you. I am John Reynolds, new Prime Minister of Alversia" he grinned at Foxfire, "Elections were yesterday, I am the new boss of Alversia!" He looked outside into the dusk and his grin slipped a little "I hear that there are a few NC's here for the talks" he said quietly so the others couldn't hear "You sure you can trust them?"

The Emperor grinned. "Congratulations, Mr. Prime Minister!" At the questions of the NCs, Foxfire's face fell. "No, I don't think we can trust them at all. However, their not in any sizable force, just Kash and ten guards. He's summoned what's left of his people to here, as a reunion place. Gods know what will happen next."

He continued to whisper "Would you like a task force stationed here, just in case? We have one nearby in military manoeuvers should you need them?" he looked around again to ensure no one was listening "Have any of the survivors settled here?" he was refering to the large groups of NC survivors who lived on Alversia following the destruction of their homeworld. Most had settled and raised families, many now served in the Alversian Armed Forces. A few had left the planet soon after their arrival however and so it was these he was worried about.

Foxfire shook his head. "Thank you for the kind offer, but we need no protection. No North Calaverans have settled here, it would not be allowed."

John nodded his acceptance of the decision "They will be there in case you need them" he smiled again "I don't know about you but I'm starved! I had barely a scrap to eat during my arrival here so I wouldn't say no to a little grub if there's any going" he looked around hopefully.

"Good job." said the Emperor to the aide as he ate a sausage on a stick. "Dinner, I'm afraid, will not be served until Kash gets back. Also we are waiting for the other delegations. But we will not wait much longer."

But we will not wait much longer."

John looked as though he was about to kiss the Aide. Instead, he took a snack and ate hungryly. He nodded at the news that dinner would be some time yet but that didn't matter, he was enjoying the company of an old Comrade again and so did not really mind the wait. "What's brought this whole treaty thig about then?" John asked between mouthfuls.

Rok'atn bowed to the Alversian. " Greetings, Prime Minister Reynolds. I am Sgt. Rok'atn, and this," he gestured to his escort, "is my protocol droid, Hachet." The droid nodded, then got back to looking around, his head swiveling.

The Emperor sighed. "This is a big, cold galaxy we live in. Threats press in from all sides. One in paricular worries me and many of those who are here. The Chronosians. A branch of the Imperuim of Man, servants of Chaos. They are agressive, xenophobic, and powerful. Not to mention the regular Imperuim of Man, Seprioth, and others." The Emperor looked sad. "This whole treaty was brought together in hopes that we would be too large for any one nation to attack. I am rallying all the help I can get. Someday we may even go on the offensive, try to wipe the Imperuim of Man and the forces of Chaos from the Universe. But that day is long in coming, and we must think about now."

John looked at Kash with an intense dislike. He and his people stood for everything the Alversians hated. He was not looking forward to signing any treaty with them, however it had to be done. Foxfire had been right, there were many threats out there in the cold universe. An Alliance was never a bad thing.

He turned and acknowledged Rok'atn's greeting with a bow of his own. He looked at Hatchet with extreme interest "Hmmm" he said looking over him "You use Robots as Bodyguards?" he asked this as he couldn't see anybody else to protect this man.

"Most of my race do not, but Hachet has protected me from birth. He also has a number of good features that organics do not. Thermal Vision, Metal Detector, Radar, even a brain wave scanner. He's never let me down before." Rok'atn shrugged.

John nodded while still looking over the robot. He had alsways had a fascination with machinary and was dying to look at the workings of this Robot. He forced himself to stand up "We use these" he said pointing to the four men behind him. Each was well over 7 foot and heavily built. They looked as though they were ready to draw their pistols in a microsecond.

"They're the Democratic Guards" he said proudly "Not once in a 150 years of history have they failed their mission to protect a Diplomat"

The president and his cadre are patiently mingling through the crowd. busy greating the people he has met and taking the chance to meet those that he hasn't Jorr-Ucch spots Kash and remembers the previous fun he has had. he decides not to bother kash yet because this is the Xiscapian Emperiors terf and because it would be best not to have kash drooling on the floor. The Emperor stepped back for a moment and looked around. Everyone more or less seemed to be enjoying themselves, save Kash, who was always angry and spitful around non-humans. "Please follow me to the dining room." he called, turning on heel and walking towards a heavy set of wood doors.

The Emperor lead the delegates into a magnificant dining hall. A huge table, made of pure crystal with seating for fifty, stood in the center. The chairs were made of metal, with soft cusions on the seat. The Emperor turned. "Please be seated. I ask that you leave all guards outside the dining hall. The servants will be with us shortly."

Kash was a little suprised, but agreed, he nodded, and his guards left, he sat down: thanks.

Rok'atn said to Hachet, "You have to wait outside." Hachet whispered, at least spoke as quietly as a robot could speak, something about 'meatbags'. Rok'atn smiled, shook his head then sat down.

Upon John's nod, the four Democratic Guards turned and marched out of the room. It took alot of training to do that at the exact same time. John turned back to await Emperor Foxfire's announcement.

Though greatly belated, the Avalas Exarch was said to have only recently landed outside of the Xiscapian palace. Ignoring traditional pleasantries of diplomatic airs, the Tintibulus Armed Forces arrive with a nearly vulgar display of force; bearing The Most Exalted not in the luxurious courier vessels of peacemaking, but in the lumbering behemoth that was served as their staple Troop-Carrier. Unloading a full regimen of seventy-five heavily armed and armored men and women immediately beyond the Emperor's Threshold, Avalas' figurehead seemed content to idle and wait for an appropriate greeting party to be forwarded.

The Emperor rose from the table. "Excuse me for just a moment." he said to the delegates. He strode out into the courtyard to the Avalas party. He bowed low. "Greetings, most Honorable Exarch. Allow me to invite you inside for our dinner. Your guards must stay outside the dining room, though assure you you are quite safe here."

John watched curiously as the heavily armed group arrived. It was quite an entrance by any means. He turned back to eat while at the same time pressing a button on his belt. It placed a unit of Marines on duty back at the Impregnable on alert to respond immediately

Rok'atu went to call Hachet at the sight of the troopers, then relaxed and pressed the button marked 'Possible' on his wrist armor instead. He turned to John and whispered, "That's rather above the allowed guard, isn't it?"

John nodded slowly all the while staring at the new arrivals, it was far too accessive for a peace treaty signing. His own Marines would probably be too far away to help and he doubted the bodyguards would hear anything through the thick palace walls and doors. He hoped Foxfire knew what he was doing.

Two patrol craft came down and hovered over the 75 guards, weapons primed. At the same time about 20 Black Guards walked out and formed a permiter around the Avalas guard. The Emperor smiled. "We don't take such thinly-veiled threats lightly, Exarch. Now please, come inside and have something to eat."

Clad in strangely humble attire for one holding the title of "Exalted," Kyouka, a man of perhaps aged to his late forties, was a relatively new arrival to the diplomatic field. Bearing a white robe - frugally embroidered with golden sequins - draped over the bulge of ceremonial armaments, he bore an air of obvious authority, though it was wielded with care. He bowed. "Lord, you will forgive the slight, but you must understand that it is strictly forbidden that I travel without escort. No more than a handful, however, shall enter the palace - Should it please you. The remainder shall stay in the courtyards."

Disembarking from the armored sanctum, he awaited the emperor at the foot of a metallic ramp.

The Emperor stepped to the side. "I'm sorry, but no guards are allowed at all for the meal. Once the meal is over guards are permitted, but we're trying to keep an, ah, friendly atmosphere during dinner. We have delicious food prepared for you, and, I assure you, between our guards and other delegates guards, you are quite well protected."

His brow twitched. He was already nearing the common-man's threshold in age; but one didn't live that long without learning to make accommodations. Sharing a look with a nearby guard - A higher-up, judging by the engravings upon his armor - a conversation swift, silent, and concise wordlessly passed between them. Neither of them seemed more the relaxed for it - But an imperceptible nod from both ends seemed to settle the matter; whatever it may have been.

"Very well, Lord-Though I pray we do not waste our time too long over sup."

"We won't, we're half done already. If your Exarch pleases, we will seat you and serve you our finest food. Please, take a little time to enjoy yourself. Soon we will get to the treaty and signing."

He leened and whisperd: Isnt that a bit much?

The Emperor turned and led the man into the dining hall. He waved his hand to the other delegates. "The respective delegates of Alversia, North Calaveras, Void Templar, and Schwullunde." He sat the man next to Kash and immediatly a servant appeared with a seafood platter, some rolls, and wine. The Emperor resumed his position at the table and continued eating.

Panic over, John pressed the button again on his belt, allowing a group of knackered Marines to settle down for night. He too continued eating. The food was good and the company minus the Neo-Racial Calaverans was good. It was looking like a good Alliance and John praised Herman for his decision to attend.

The man cast a benign - yet ultimately indifferent - nod towards the other delegates, seating himself before a small plate of rolls, butter, and weak wine.

Kash tried to keep a straight face.

John nodded and sighed. he supposed they would have to get into the legal crap at some point or another, but that didn't make it any less boring. He was hoping to get this out of the way he could get hime for the first time as Prime Minister.

Looking over the text of the treaty the president handed the scroll to Jorr-Ucch. Jorr-Ucch read through the treaty completely, several times.After a bit he handed the scroll back to the president with his impressions and his advise.

John took the treaty and laughed. It was as if the treaty had been written by Alversians themselves. He happily scribbled on it for a second beofre passing it around to the next group. He then settled back and relaxed after a hard day. Soon it would be time to return to Alversia and the jobs of Government. What a fun day that would be!

When the document came around to him once more, the Exarch of Avalas simply signed as "Kyouka."

The Emperor clapped his hands. "Excellent! I believe that's everyone. This diplomatic confrence is officially ajorned." He looked around. "I already know that the respective North Calaverans and Alversians are staying, but if any of you wish to stay here in Rio Casa or even on-planet, that would be fine."

The Exarch is immediately deported back towards Tintibulus.
