Waters of The United Island States of Aurora Hoshino Stilleståndö Corona Animalpolis

It had been awhile since war had come to these islands. It had been awhile since four foreign powers had attacked it. Out of these four, the TSRT had been the most brutal occupiers. On Corona, people who resisted capture by Red Tidean soldiers and Intellegince-Commissarat Agents had been simply liquidated.

This had included the islands chief, Kino Turell, who, months before Red Tide decided to leave, had been captured, interrogated, and executed by the Commissarat. Kino's arrest and liquidation had never been made public.

Eventually, a peace was negotiated and Red Tide packed up and left. They had made no attempt to help the natives in the entire process, and had in fact destroyed what little infrastracture they did build.

Of course, peacekeepers came in and helped restore the island chain.

It was now a year or two after that event. Red Tide had mostly kept its distance. The only exceptions had been the ocassional ballistic missile sub on patrol getting close or sattelite passing through space.

Our story actually begins on a yacht a little ways away from the waters of Corona.

Commissar-80139321, simply named 'Ivanich' stared towards the small shapes of the island. He didnt know why, but for the past five minutes he had been staring at that precise island. As if in a memory. The yacht was officially owned by a Tech-Com Corporation Executive, on its way to some rival power, supposedly for the executive to go on vacation. In truth, it was going to be used to smuggle in Commissar Ivanich.

Like all Commissars and soldiers of the Red Tide Military and Commissarat, Ivanich had no thoughts, no feelings, no memories. His only purpose was to serve the State, whatever the State was at the time. The source of this purpose came from the collar around his neck. The precise details are a secret of the highest order in Red Tide, but it is publicly known that these collars inject some type of mind altering chemical directly into the body.

Then something happened, something that was a 1 in a 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 chance: The collar around Commissars Ivanich malfunctioned. Suddenly, as he stood looking at the island, emotions, memories, and even personalities flooded back to him. Commissar Ivanich stood stockstill for several seconds as he went over every last detail in his brain about who he actually was, what he had done, and all that.

Then he vaulted overboard and began to swim... swim towards the island in the distance. The island of Corona.

He did it for one reason, and only one reason:
He had carried out Kino Turrel's liquidation.

A small fishing boat was comming back with a net still in water, so far the fish had been a bust, to their sadness it seemed no fish, untill their net snagged closed.

"Shisho, we have a catch!" Said Azellia.

They struggled to pull the net up and to their shock and horror it was a man a live man.
