The nation of Sijitalatirikimidateme has decided to host the first film festival in seleken ground in the history of the rejistanian island. The 2 week-long event will provide an international audience to films from all over the NSverse - as well as the chance to win a Silver Snake.

The country and city
Sijitalatirikimidateme (or Siģtagtikiĝmdəğmı in ĥağnvŭĝ transliteration) is a nation in the association of free nations of Rejistania. It is located in a tropical climate, the city has the charm of the seleken (Seləgkeģn) tradition which manifests in many overt ways like the architecture and the friendliness of the people and in many subtle ways. Sijitalatirikimidateme is the biggest and most beautiful seleken city and one of the places, which combined municipal infrastructure with the spirit of community normally only found in small owns and villages. The cinemas of this city often make up in flair annnd quality of the equipment what they lack in size.

Plot Outline: Grand Prince Vladimir Adenski, ruler of Kulikovia is on a crusade to unite the city-states. After several years of campaigning, he finally unites the major states. His rival Prince Gregor of Kiev plots to overthrow Vladimir using his sister, Katerina, a seductive and cold woman to create tension within Vladimir's court. Throughout the course of winter, away from the capital, Vladimir stays in Kiev, a recently conquered city. Vladimir and Katerina begin to come together but he his hesitant, due to already having a loving wife, Anya who stays in the capital with his young son. Katerina entrances Vladimir and corrupts his views on marriage, loyalty, and religious pious. Long-time friend Count Yuri Orlov begins to suspect Katerina and Gregor's motives and confronts the two. Katerina returns to Vladimir and states that Yuri attempted to rape her, enfuriated, Vladimir kills Yuri and returns to the capital with his entourage, encluding Gregor and Katerina but they are disguised as mere nobles and Vladimir meets Katerina in secret away from Anya. The nobles in court suspect fowl play upon hearing the death of Orlo and begin a secert investigation into their king's life. He becomes more and more infatuated with Katerina who wants to marry him. Smitten and frustrated, Vladimir searches for a way to free himself of Anya who remains a faithful wife. He neglects the matters of state ans the rising influence of King Stanislav II of Poland who threatens their borders. Finally, disillusioned and blinded by his love for Katerina, Vladimir poisons Anya in her sleep and instantly regrets his decision. Distraught he questions himself and his motives. Meanwhile, Gregor continues to skillfully manipulate the nobles into believeing that Anya was murdered.

Vladimir comes to terms with his actions and concentrates on raising his young son. Gregor sees the child as a threat and decides to have him killed. Vladimir thwarts an assasination attempt and is nearly killed. Now, he suspects Gregor and confronts him, before Gregor can enact his final stage of the plan, Vladimir kills him in a fit of rage and imprisons Katerina. He contemplates suicide but decides to live so that his son may have a father and a nation may have its' leader, redeming himself. The movie ends with him riding off to confront the Poles.

Plot Outline: Several centuries in the future, Hoffman is a decorated member of an secret police organization known as the Timekeepers. They travel back and forth in time in order to make sure that the past plays out in such a way leading to the existence of their reality. This generally involves the protection of important historical figures. However, Hoffman is given the assignment (from the Timekeeper leader, Ward) to guard a suicidal teenager (Traverse) from a couple centuries earlier [that is, our "current" era]. Indignant that someone of his caliber should be wasted on such a mission, he is nevertheless forced to go.

He does his best to follow Traverse as closely as possible, often with comic effect, and learns that she is an amateur filmmaker with little appreciation. Her desperation grows until finally Hoffman intervenes to spare her life. Naturally, she demands an explanation as to who he is: thrown off-balance, he admits the truth (violating the Timekeepers' edicts) and hurriedly returns to his own time, where his infraction is already known (and has always been). He is dishonorably discharged from the group.

Silently vowing revenge, he returns to Traverse's era, and offers her the chance to film a documentary of his futuristic group. She accepts, and the film ends with the two of them stepping into the time machine.

Plot Outline:
Alternative historical story of the heroic defence of Nicksyllvanian shores against Communistic UFAN invaders. After a musical number done by UFAN leaders, represented as sweating obese men, whose furniture is made out of human skeletons, the UFAN concludes to commence the invasion of Nicksyllvania after signing a contract with Yakov (Lord of the Demons according to Nicksyllvanian Religion) to assure themselves victory. As the battle procedes millions of Communists fall dead to the few brave squads of men until the Nicksyllvanians run out of ammunition, they procede to charge with bayonets and slay millions more until they finally fall themselves, mere hours before the Nicksyllvanian counterattack which utterly destroys the Communists. As a final note, the soldiers find themselves greeting the gates of Heaven, but refuse to pass through until one more fight, in which they procede to travel down to hell and beat/torture Karl Marx, Lenin, Castro, Che Guaravera, Mao, and various other communist leaders done to a light hearted musical number.

Plot Outline: Family in the military is bad at the best of times, it's even worse when an older brother is your commanding officer. Life for Charlize is hard and embarrasing. Particularily when your fellow soldiers believe that nepotism was the only reason that you got to the level you're at.

However when David her elder brother gets kidnapped by a terrorist group calling themselves "Heaven's gate" she soons find out that despite all their issues family means so much more than she could ever think. Taking control of her brothers team she leads her best friend Louise in a rescue attempt proving at the same time her ability to the team.

Plot Outline:

Revolutions

The film begins with a mysterious epilouge setting up sceen for things to come. Several gems of power are formed together for the greater good of mankind, but one more is made for the evil intentions. The Gem however is lost, and falls into the hands of an unknown character, who is reveald as Masashi (Ami's brother) in Fantasy Quest VI: The Last Stand but the gem weilds him into a creature of undesireable tolerance and power.

After the prolouge we are intorduced to our main heroin, Areana Morito who is a plain girl from a small island, living with her grand mother and little brother. While attending a merchants fair, she is given one of the powerful gems described in the prolouge. And one stormy night her island is taken over by the forces of evil. Areana and her brother need help from the Capital City and Lady Kitanah to help liberate them. After fleeing to sea and washing up, they are intorduced to Ami, the trusted advisor of Kitanah. After some discussion that night we meet a new character known as Lee who is a Wavemaster (One who performs Magic) who is seemingly after the X-Gems for his own reasons. But inturn he becomes an ally to them all.

But as Kitanah contemplates what to do about the situation, her loyal body guard plots against her and in a brut attempt to assasinate her, ambushes her on the Royal Sky Way but is killed by Areana.



The Battle Begins
After spending time in the Azar Forest Kitanah returns to Capital city, but danger is all around her, as her train explodes. Fortunatley Lee manage's a protection spell on her in the knick of time. The hunt begins for the mysterious assasin, fearing further attempts on her life, Kitanah, Amie and Lee, flee to the safety of the Azar Forest, and the welcoming arms of Lady Florah. They meet a young wavemistress named Kirah, who will prove to be a great ally.

Meanwhile we catch up with our mysterious villian and learn of her past, and her name. From her early days to her days as an assasin in traning.

Back in the Azar forest Soon a the dark armies render a major battle. Kira and Lee must step up to the plate to elminate the enemies by doing a risky stunt of conducting lighting and sending it to the ground.

Meanwhile Areana and Golden Knight search for the mysterious BlackRose, chasing her all over the city, and getting into a few spars of the sword. Eventually Arena and BlackRose dual which leads to a bond of freindship when Areana spares her life. Pretty soon the armies are gone from the forest, and Kirah and everyone else depart as new freinds.

War of Shadows

The story begins in the Capital City where Lady Kitanah is being honored as the great leader she is. Instantly we are introduced to a new character named Kajio who as it turns out is Kitanah's uncle. Kitanah retires to discuss further affairs of the nation and the war brewing against the nation of Tiatania. She finds Lord Orca of the Azure Sea is being vastly uncooperative and not willing to help the Capital City. We soon find out The Azure Sea is infact with the enemy.

To try to negotiate Amie is sent to the Azure Sea to see if she can talk them into join unawhear of the betrayal already comitted by the Azure Sea. Orca soon turnes hostile against Amie and severly beats her up, and Ami being a pacifist not carrying no weapons, is unable to defend her self and is put at his mercy.

Meanwhile Kitanah begins to worry about Amie and decides to search for her. Taking a massive battle to the Azure Sea and combats Lord Orca and rescues Amie from the clutches of Evil.

Trust Attack and Betrayal

In this chapter we begin to get greater insight to many characters. First we learn more of Areana's history and who her parents were and what happend to them. And Kajio (Kitana's uncle) begins to show his true colors as his plot thickens to assasinate his neice. Meanwhile BlackRose finds love and perhaps a new rival all in one.

As Kitana and Amie tale to a retreat in, an ambush plot sets up and Arena is mysteriously taken by the enemy. Kitanah still unaware of the plots

Journey Into the Black Forest

With Arena presumed dead Kitanah tires to make assaults onto the Taitania however, a mysterious creature in the Dark Forest (The only method to sneak into the guarded country) prevents it killing all who trespass.

Meanwhile Two WaveMistresses Roxy and Anaka Mashimo make a fleeing attempt for their lives and escaping servatude. They may have made an amazing discovery that no one else knows about. But paying no further attention they make their way into the black forest, where Lee, and Kirah all meet up after being ambushed by the Black Mage. Tragically Roxanne is killed.

Kitanah while at her private retreat is suddenly ambushed by a masked assailent, in a final struggled and plot twist Areana shows up, saving Kitanah from ceritan death. It's revealed that Kajio was the one in the hood.

The Final Stand

We are given insights into Amie's early history, and we learn what happend to create the dark lord from her big brother. It's soon discovered later on by BlackRose that the enemy has held a mysterious subject that may be of Great intrest. Terajima Ryoko is the grand daughter of the creator for the X-Gems and holder of an extremly powerful one is rescued by the allied forces in time.

now the War begins, the final showdown with the Dark Forces. Will good triumph?

(Indeed I had a lot of inspiration from The Lord of the Rings movies though there are many many diffrences)

Plot Outline:

Set in the fictional town of Saint Bernard, Iesus Christi, the plot centres on Captain Patrick Stewart (played by John H Harrow), an Officer in the Iesus defence forces, who finds people in his local town are acting strange. A former sweetheart of his; Miss Angel Hart (Kate McPherson ), tells the Captain that her and her Mother are both concerned about the strange behaviour of people in the town, also that her Mother has noticed that the people acting strangely don’t receive communion when they attend Mass!

Going to his commanding officer about the strange behaviour of the towns folk, Captain Stewart finds General Matthew Von Lipwig (Gary DeWater) most unhelpful. The General tells Captain Stewart there is nothing to worry about, Iesus Christi is perfectly safe and that Iesus has nothing to fear from metahumans.

The Captain soon discovers, with the help of his friend Doctor Smith(Andrew King) that the townspeople are in fact being replaced by Metahumans - perfect physical duplicates who kill and eat the human who they are replacing. The Metahumans are indistinguishable from normal people, except for their utter lack of respect for God and the state. The metahumans together to secretly summon more metahumans from Hell via the demon Brain in order to replace enough of Iesus Christi so it can be invaded by the liberal nations of the world.

The film climaxes with the Captain and the Doctor sacrificing themselves at a military award ceremony in order for the conspiracy to be unmasked – Dying as they Kill General Matthew Von Lipwig and thus making him revert to his true demonic form…the Elven El’as ithal - Warmaster of the metahorde!

Thus Iesus is saved by the blood sacrifice of these two heroes ….Iesus is safe from the metahuman peril…for now..

Plot Outline: This film is a dramatisation of the rise of Heinman Heinman, Speedball's most famous centre-forward. Signing on as a rookie with a team called Dren's Dragoons, he wins over the smooth-talking goalkeeper von Doppleganger and the stern team manager Althaus with his dedication and skill. The film follows his career in his first season, in which he became the highest-scoring rookie in the history of Skorrian Speedball. The climax of the piece is the State Finals in which Dren's Dragoons face off against the Army All-Stars for the coveted Confederate Cup. Heinman scores the winning goal after a tense and low-scoring game.

Plot Outline: Battle for Planet Earth takes place in the modern day but in an alternate future where an alien power has invaded and conquered the entire world after a devastating world-wide nuclear war. Promising freedom and peace, many nations offered these newcomers words of welcome until the invaders began to conquer the world. These invaders are similar to human in appearance and size save that the invaders, called R'sKan, have red skin and yellow eyes. The R'sKan are led by Admiral Nuurnberg who repeatedly promises the humans freedom but instead continues to opress them. Hans Beckenbauer takes up the role of Storm-General Beckenbauer, one of the few surviving officers in the Skgorrian military who continues to fight the R'sKan, freeing captive humans and taking them out into the wastelands where the R'sKan have little power. Jefferson Pinkswill escapes one of the alien labour camps with his girlfriend Ingrid Gorobets and they meet up with the Resistance, who by now are planning a major offensive against the R'sKan. A large portion of the film is given to showing the grand offensive against the R'sKan main complex and other uprisings by the humans that have been inspired by it. The film ends with Beckenbauer, Jefferson and Ingrid marching up to Nuurnberg's throne room and shooting him whilst he sits on his throne, weeping that all has crumbled around him.

Plot Outline:
Mrs. Anna O’Shea(Anita Paterson), a widow from Iesus Christi arrives in the fictional Nation of Elftonia with her young son(Timmy O’Shea played by Arthur Turner) to teach the children of the royal household. The Elven King (Elron Ar Leogoles played by Donald David) is cruel and dishonest, his royal household is even run by human slaves who he treats sadistically.
Yet for all his cruelty of the evil King is absorb by desire for Christian knowledge and with lust for Anna.
Anna refuses his advances and instead takes it upon herself to educate the King about the truth of God and the true place of Metahumans in the world. Many comic and musical scenes follow including Young Timmy singing the song “You’ll never go to heaven because you don’t have a soul” to the Royal children.

In the end the King counsellors Prince LeoNi of Golgar Seven (Shamus O’Donald) and Princess Volgar of the lower Pit of Hell (Mercy Jones) fear that the King has seen the truth because of the words of Anna.
They kidnap Timmy in an attempt to convince Anna to leave the kingdom. The king hearing of this villainy has Timmy rescued and falling to his knees he rejects his metahuman upbringing, confesses his undying love for Anita, and begs her marry him

Anna rejects the King, saying she cannot marry an animal. The King promptly throws himself out of a Castle window in despair, leaving Anna to take the human slaves and Timmy home to Iesus Christi to live happily ever after.

Yet again, we join the decent people in the world to call for a world-wide boycott of Iesian diplomats and trade until such a time as Iesus is a democracy again.

"Ridiculous. Free speech also implies the right not to listen to, or endorse, a given expression. We, as movie makers, do not endorse Iesian propaganda, not because it is propaganda - propaganda is not wrong in and of itself - but because it is Iesian propaganda. The questin is not the form or quality of the film, but it's content.

It is not that it is propaganda - it's the fact it claims elves have no souls and are animals.

It is not in fact any kind of free speech issue - in a free society, the government doesn't fund movies."

While we do not endorse these views and will before showing these films explain that we will not endorse the message of these films, we think that you are overreacting. I am sure that you know bookstores which sell books of Marx or Mein Kampf of Hitler. They often do have reasons which is not at all based on their respective ideologies but on the free exchange of ideas (or on profit, but we do not need to talk about that). We do think this film is good on showing propaganda in action and there is surely a public interest in watching it. Laghi, Həģhi, as selekens say.

Plot Outline:
Hammer and Sickle is a biography of the Soviet dictator Josef Dzhugashvili, more commonly known as Josef Stalin, as he changes from an abused child to one of the most infamous men in history. The film begins at Stalin's death bed, after having suffered a stroke. The Man of Steel opens his eyes and stares about, raises his hand slightly, before finally succumbing to a cerebral hemorrhage. The camera pans to a smiling Lavrenty Beria, standing next to Nikita Khrushchev, thus following the theory that Beria poisoned Stalin. The camera then zooms into the motionless eyes of the deceased dictator, going back in time to the eyes of a young boy Stalin waking up.

The rest of the movie follows Stalin's brutal childhood, before moving on to his ambitious political career and the Russian revolution. Here, the film also branches out for an overview of the members the Communist Party, going on to World War II and the peak of Stalin's reign, before finally ending in 1952. Stalin reviews the "1952 Stalin Note for German reunification and Superpower disengagement from Central Europe", before an aide comes through to tell him he is required. Stalin places the note down, before slowly following the aide out of the room.

Monologuing is kept to a minium throughout the production, with a majority of it being done by a disembodied narrator and the smaller share being done by Stalin himself.

As they find clues the five member party flashes back in history as if they were experincing it. Leading upto the global war that ends with the last northerner and Southerner killing each other.

This is compounded by a conflict that builds throughout the movie between the captains and the Corporals and it was only the Lt Commander who was able show them that in the end they wanted the same things

Plot Review: Tybalt Bram gives a commanding performance as Aaron Jurriaan in this 2007 Film of the year (in USB). Tybalt leads his family through the chaos of the Brinkian Civil War, fleeing from the carnage and catastrophe (though the story has little to do with the war). As the war is drawing to a close and safety is just around the corner a roadside bomb kills his family and destroys his sense of reality.

Broken, lonely, and having trouble staying in reality he creates and alter ego of himself (Brenton Arvel). Arvel takes him to a secret location within his own mind which he calls ‘The Elephant Castle’. Arvel tries to convince him that everything happens for a reason and that things like that create compassion. However Bram, in order to fight back against fate, vows to take on the entire world’s sorrow.

Under this new found weight he struggles to survive. His mind slowly begins to wither but consequently he sees his family more often. With the thought of seeing them again he gains the strength to finish what he started. He ventures back to the Elephant Castle and throws against its walls the sorrow of the world he carried with him. As the walls break down he is able to finally meet his family again and forever.

Aðalbjörg Maria directs this masterpiece both visually and emotionally. As an underground film the budget was low however the visual effects are both stunning as they are moving. The movie is raw, intense…an emotional rollercoaster. Sigur Ros, an Icelandic band, leads the soundtrack with numerous songs which alone will bring you to your knees. It takes aim without mercy against religion, politics, and the point of life itself. Tybalt Bram, a new unknown actor, drives the movies intensity from the outset.

They are unaware as to their relationship and form a bitter rivalry for each other as they compete for leadership of the orphanage's children through more grandiose and extreme schemes, culminating in both Josef and Francine bumping into each other outside of the orphanage's Direktor's office in the middle of the night, Josef carrying a box of matches and some gasoline, Francine carrying a large axe. They both shout at each other for having a stupid plan and get into a fight, ending up with part of the orphanage burning down. Luckily no-one is killed and the twins' role in the blaze is not discovered but the orphanage is gutted and the orphanage must be rebuilt by the orphans. As the construction work begins, the twins learn of their connection thanks to the Direktor and then they begin to establish a rapport. The more that they work together to build the orphanage, the better their relationship becomes and the other children become more responsive to their leadership. The film ends with the twins finally embracing each other in a hug as the orphanage is opened.

The place, where the award ceremony was taking place had a name no sane person could pronounce without knotting his tongue. Thus, the Selekens once again temporarily assigned a name in English to the place: Sijitalatirikimidateme Central Hall. While this omits the references to flowers and mirrors, it is far easier to pronounce than the Seleken name.

The hall was decorated in various shades of green and blue, the colors which nearly universally indicate yearning and the desire to be in another place. The reporters from different nations waited eagerly for the stars to enter via the red carpet (which was decorated with an orange text in Seleken alphabet saying 'reaching excellence'). Moderator Li Ehn-Kav was preparing backstage for moderating the show, which was about to start.

As the Bazalonian stars for the three movies strolled down the red carpet with what they had been told it translated into. Addressed the media, their fans and each other, Wolfgang going back to his comedic roots joked around with the other co-stars of Gate to the Heavens.

On the Carpet they came across the hosts of Bazalonians most respected and watched movie review show in Bazalonia; Johanna and Ed from Movies@Home.

"I have no idea, all I know is that I think this movie is great and I just hope that the judges see that too." Wolfgang

As everyone pased they al had a couple questions asked tailored for each individual before wishing them luck.As for the Foreign films only perhaps some of more well known people where asked individualised questions but for Ed and Johanna it was a long Red Carpet that never seemed to end.

Minister for Christian Art James Venture arrived at the event with the two Iesus directors and the heroine from ‘The Elf and I”.
Following behind them was an Iesus film crew, recording the event for delayed broadcast back to Iesus Television – already the film festival had been reported widely in Iesus Christi…Iesus citizens being informed of the great success that had greeted the two Iesus Christian film
The Minister wore the dull grey dress uniform of the interior ministry, as did the two directors, while the actress wore a delicate flowing dress of pure white – a representation of Christian purity.
The Minister and the Actress smiled warmly and looked at home on the red carpet, while the two directors looked nervous and out of place.
The Iesus reporter who hovered next to the camera gave a running commentary as the Iesus delegation entered….

"'For seeing is believing pictures lie so reliably' that was what our first lentine... errr, the first lentine of Rejistania, our first lentine did not have such good lines - yet. While it might be a bad thing that images tend to lie, nothing is better for immersion into a story than good images and good visual effects. Which brings us to the next category: Visual effects!" Li Ehn-Kav happily announced. "So? Can I have the envelope with the name of the winner in it?" Something flashed over the picture - or didn't it? Li herself seemed to be stunned that an envelope was suddenly in her hand. She opened the envelope with a quick movement and it seemed smoke poured out of the envelope and rose upwards. Rising upwards, it formed a series of words in the seleken alphabet. Li looked sideways to a nearby screen and read them: "And the winner is: South side, North side!"

Li seemed to be slightly confused now, as if forgotten her text - or maybe as if tired by the tricks of the people behind the scenes without knowing them first: "After we talked about using images to tell a story, we now use it to show real life. This will happen hopefully a bit less flashy now. We are talking about real life here." an aide in the orange clothes of a construction worker entered the stage and handed her an envelope. "And the winner of the əğmıg dəğmağl in the category: Best Documentary is... Gentle Giants!"

Selat Atidi, the KaMaRian director of the film (which is about turtles) entered the stage. She was small, even for rejistani standards and her brown skin showed her kireshi ancestry. "I want to thank the caveĝndəğĵa kignuģ Seləgkeģn, I hope I pronounced that at least partially correct, of course thanks go out to the great team which made this possible. Texiki!"

Larrity Donohue, the director, came up and received the award.

And with the short but sweet speech he crawled back to his table wondering about the next awards.

"Okay, after that was dealt with, let's hope the organizers didn't have any more weird surprises, but seeing the next category is Best action movie, I guess we will see a lot of it. I do not need to emphasize the importance of action. Even those who normally only watch Ariddian movies have their guilty moments with Kekeken and Nininin or Sahaxila Days. So... What have the good people of behind the scenes prepared now?" A small child enters the stage in order to deliver the envelope, but a group of karelan monks attempts to stop him. In a beautifully choreographed sequence of Advanced Techniques fighting, the child defeats the monks bows in front of Li (who replies the bow as politely), hands the envelope and runs off. "And the winner in the category Best Action movie is: Battle for Planet Earth!"
