The Praetor of Vetalia and his staff arrived at Leonov International Airport along with a small honor guard of Praetorial Guards, assuming their position near the expected arrival point of the Novetan delegation. The Emperor would not be attending this meeting, as it was the duty of the Praetor and his staff, but he had personally provided transportation and lodging for the visitors during their stay in the country.
LIA was chosen, of course, due to its location near the city's industrial core. The area was clustered with hundreds, even thousands of manufacturing plants producing any and all variety of goods for the Vetalian economy and for export, and in the distance rose the massive arms production complex used to produce much of the equipment for the Vetalian Armed Forces. The plants were clean, modern, and massive, and the large number of construction sites suggested many new ones were under construction and older ones expanded to meet the high demand for manufactured goods.
Already, industrial utilization was running at 85%, and companies worked feverishly to expand their facilities to take advantage of soaring demand. The economy was projected to grow 4% this year, a significant acceleration that was fairly high above trend for the nation's mature economy.

The Journey
The flight from Daniel-Louis Gauvin International Airport, located in the western end of the Commune-City of Port-de-Révolution, to Leonov International Airport, located in the City of Vetalia, in Vetalia, was both comfortable and, at the same time, difficult, for the officials of both the FABPACUN and the EDBPACUN.
The reason why it was difficult for these officials was because this was the first time that they were actually engaging on the interregional stage. The kind of atmosphere that they were used to was the atmosphere of struggle and hardship that was induced by the Novetan Revolution.
Now the Novetan Revolution had won and, because of the importance that these individuals had obtained, they now had to deal with a new atmosphere, the atmosphere of constant negotiations with willing and developed Capitalist countries and deal-making with these willing and developed Capitalist countries. It was the only way to help open the path that would lead to both the total and absolute Communization and Industrialization of the Communal Union of Noveta.
Towards the end of the flight, the 34 year-old Chief Diplomat of the FABPACUN, Maurice Dumont, was sitting with the most notable member of the EDBPACUN, the 26-year old Henri DeMort, using Maurice's six-year old laptop computer through a process that switched the laptop computer between both Henri and Maurice, to send and confirm communiques with Bredford and other, developed Capitalist countries that were willing to help Noveta lift itself out of the destitute state of poverty that its French masters left it in when the Revolution defeated them.
While Henri was using the laptop computer, he said to Maurice, "How do you feel about this trip Maurice? Are you nervous like I am? Like the others are?"

basically, we loan you $100 billion USD, and after yearly %2 interest rate, we get $100 billion USD back from your goverment.
