In Alfegos, the seafood considered delicacy are the rare greater black spider crabs. These, when cooked, turn a vibrant shade of red, like most shellfish.

The most valued meat is in the giant claws of the creature.

The dish is often served with a seafood salad, prawns and other shellfish.

In The Ryou Black Islands, the Ryous eat Roasted Fur Seals, Dolphin Steaks, Whale Chops, Boiled fish, and Giant Sqiud Soup.

In the Far Echo Islands, Arctic Salmon seared with Olde Towne wine and seasoned with Columbia City spices, is perhaps the best thing you will ever taste.

Here in the Holy Empire of Ordo Drakul, our favorite food is the great quaga, a carnivorous giant clam who's pearls are dissolved in wine to make dye, though the Voivode has a taste for the giant mutated crabs which make our beaches such a pleasure, so they can be found on finer dinner tables as well. Shark, eel, and octopus are also favorites for the commoners.

The most expensive and highest of delcacy would be shark fins or Lobster. Obtaning shark or lobster requires venture outside of Xanadou. Though Lobster can be found in the southern waters of Xanadou.

But more common is octopus which is usually fried and rolled into balls. They are very popular among teenagers.

The favored seafood dish of The Literate Elite is a mixture of clams and shrimp, marinaded for three weeks with white wine, and with a side dish of jellyfish and seaweed.

The masses however commonly enjoy dried haddock, smocked mackeral, and salted herring, as well as dried dulse all as common snack food which is imported from the Island territories.
