(( For more information on why we're wiping out a city of 60,000 people... Go here: Here! (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=536925&highlight=Antanjyl). Any and all people who want to play the part of civilians or police, go for it. Just know how to spell and not do anything unbelievable. ))

South-West of Antanjyllian City, Antalia
Mercenary Garrison of the Valgrind, Valhalla

Commander Jared looked down at the extra piece of paper he had been handed which contained the mission specifics. Antanjyl was ordering a covert biological attack on the island of El Diaz, located somewhere in Brazil, and it was down to Valgrind to carry it out. The shadow government was likely testing Valgrind's willingness to follow orders.

Jared ran a gloved hand across his shaved head and breathed a sigh.

Ground Squad Commander Jared Bellichik: This doesn't look hard at all... seems to be set up for us already, just have to go in and execute. Will there be any resisting civilians?

Communications Officer: No, none that we know of. Should be a walk in the park really, very little chance of failure or a deviation from the plan.

The soldiers in the Ground Squad seemed to be quite happy that their first mission was to be one with very little pressure. They could, for the most part, take their time with the exception of the razing of the Communication Grid which would be a top priority lest they face an angry Brazilian Army.

Ground Squad Commander Jared Bellichik: Ok boys, lets head downstairs into the War Room. We got some planning to do.

The group, in their olive green drabs turned and travelled down a flight of stairs to arrive outside of the war room, a room containing various geographical instruments, white boards and various other items that made planning for operations easier. The squad entered and took seats beside the long black, marble table that ran the length of the room.

Ground Squad Commander Jared Bellichik: Lets get down to business...

(( To make things interesting, lets say its the tourist season! ))

26 Kilometers off the Brazilian Coast, International Waters

Like clockwork, the mercenaries were stowed away aboard one of Antanjyl's many ocean-going trade ships heading towards South America. Due to their need to import for much of their fruit, vegetables, and other tropical merchandise, it wasn't too uncommon of a thing for a ship to be heading past Brazil, this one heading towards Chile to receive a shipment of Cocao Leaves for one of Antalia's labs back at the capital. It was a relatively small and inconspicuous trading ship, the submersible piggybacking on the ship's hull.

As soon as they reached the targeted area, a loud series of banging coming from the ship's hull alerted the Mercenaries that they were at the assigned drop-off point. The crew and mercenaries had no contact physically with one another, to preserve their anonymity. However, the crew themselves were so exceptionally poor that they could easily be taken care of after the assigned mission was over. Once their job was done, the submersible would have to piggyback on another one of Antanjyl's numerous trade ships!

El Diaz, 2000 Hours

The city was mostly quiet by 9:00 PM, though being that it was the tourist season, some of the streets still had small groups of drunkards wandering around. The city was very modern, but aside from the ferry system, closed by this time, there was little contact to the outside world except for cellphones and two communication towers located halfway within the city limits, one on each end of town. Little did they know that their dream vacation would soon become...

A nightmare.

Bang Bang

A series of loud bangs echoed through the ship's hull alerting the Einhander squad of their impending duty. Still groggy from hours of sleep they were lucky enough to indulge in while transportation took place, the group managed to change into the Scuba Suits supplied by Antanjyl. Many found the suits more comfortable than the clothing they had slept in due to the distinct, pungent odour of the area they were in as well as the near freezing temperatures. As Einhander squad had several minutes before the expulsion of the SSV's were to take place so they were free to take their time arming their rifles and transporting the equipment needed for the operation into the tight confines of the Submersibles.

Mikhail, the second in commander of the group, stood at guard by the hatch leading down in the hull to prevent the untimely arrival of their hosts who were unaware of the groups sinister mission and were under orders by the Antanjyllian Government to stay out of the way which suited Einhander group quite well.

The minutes passed quite quickly and soon the mission commencement was upon them. The squad had divided into two, four man miniature squads for the 25 kilometer journey toward El Diaz island. Upon arrival the groups, staying as they were, were to launch simultaneous assaults on the Communication Towers at opposite ends of the targeted town in order to achieve radio silence. After this, they would regroup in the town center and continue on.

Einhander Commander Bellichik: ((Squad Com System)) Alright listen up. After we are launched we are to proceed towards El Diaz at a depth of about 200ft. We will arrive in approximately two and a half hours from now and until then everyone is to sit tight and refrain from radio communication. Rosario and Garrick are to remain on their respective submersibles and await their team's return. Good luck, Bellichik out.

The Commander ended the communique and turned to address the crew aboard his submersible.

Einhander Commander Bellichik: We are tasked to assault the Southern Communication tower. Stay silent and use deadly force should we encounter anyone within the compound.

Elias Rosario: Sir, is this mission right? I mean we are going to initiate the slaughter of countless innocent civilians for the sake of testing a virus developed by two of the most sinister government's to ever exist. Why?

Bellichik looked at the young soldier with a hint of malice in his eyes.

Einhander Commander Bellichik: Soldier, you come from a disbanded special forces group renowned for it's reckless and callous disregard for human life. I believe you are in no position to question morality with the background you come from. Your obvious morality issues is why you're staying on board for this mission.

Elias was silent as were his fellow comrades. Nothing was said further about his outburst and the team settled in for a long, uneasy journey towards the point designated where the teams would disembark and swim the remaining distance to the beach.

El Diaz Beach
2246 Hours

The two squads of four had dragged the large crates containing their weapons, several clips of ammo, the virus canisters, a fresh set of Scuba suits as well as the required NBC suits to shore and were busily changing and discarding with their old wet suits.

Dominic Williams: Isn't it strange that they'd supply us with two sets of Scuba Suits? Why would they not just evacuate us via chopper for after the Communication Towers are knocked out, the element of surprise is lost.

Ginovaef turned to Williams, zipping up his NBC suit in the process.

Mikhail Ginovaef: The Antanjyllians are quite worried about her enemies knowing about our presence here so they requested we evac the way we got in. As for the extra set of suits, it's much quicker to get into a dry suit than a wet one and time will be of the essence.

With Dominic now being slightly wiser the group started to retrieve their personal weapons and the explosives required to take down the towers and while doing so Bellichik again addressed his troops.

Einhander Commander Bellichik: Ok, after we finish here we are going to drag the crates up into the trees, leaving the canisters where they are for now. Nicholai and Jeff I want you both to stay to guard the cargo, shoot on site and shoot to kill. Our second objective will be to take out the towers. Should be no problem, just remember to stay out of sight and move quickly. Use burst transmission for any required communication. Any questions?

The group answered by slamming magazines into their weapons.

Einhander Commander Bellichik: Right, let's move out.

2300 Hours

Just through the dense jungle surrounding much of the side of the island their landing zone was situated on was an unforeseen problem; A raucous group of drunken locals and tourists were having a party just outside of the city limits. Standing by the small grills and massive kegs, the twenty or so people seemed to be oblivious to the arrival due to their loud music and drunken reveling. Antanjyl was obviously hoping to use the jungle as cover for their landing, not expecting such a party to take place during the week, especially at this hour.

"Hey Tod, man! Catch the frisbee!" One of the teenagers drunkenly shouted, obviously a tourist as he tossed the disc towards the jungle, in the path of the camouflaged mercenaries before another foreigner grabbed it, "Woah dude! Nice catch!"

Aside from the two men with the frisbee, most of the others were situated around the grill cooking, or at one of a series of large rectangular tables eating and talking. The table was covered in a half-eaten spread, including a fully roasted boar and a bowl of cheese and nachoes, which was partially tipped over, leaking its cheesy ooze onto the wet grass.
