Kraigel Faction Captures Crookedfin Atoll



0953A.M, August 30, 2134: With the Reformer South Lizasaurian civil unrest, also known as the "Winged Wars", comming to an all time high agression rate, Toori High Consulars deployed 5 Dreadnaught heavy assault cruisers northward toward the South Lizasaurian capitol last Tuesday, to ensure arial supremicy over the wartorn urban settlements south of Midnight lake. Though swift progression came early to the task group, military officials claim the Reconaisance Islands are now being targeted by the Kraigel Faction. Led by Muraard Kraigel, a Lesbanian born, former SL citizen, the Kraigel Faction sought out Wednesday night to capture the volcanicaly formed islands known as the Crookedfin Atoll, just southwest of the Reformer South Lizasaurian coast of the mainland 8th Continent.


Many Godhavic settlers that came to seek refuge from the war on the mainland, and making new homes in the Reconaisance Islands were dismayed today to see squadrons of Gunships scrambling about in the air, beachhead fortifications being erected, and noisy armor units deploying to defend key positions of our homestead.


Military officials state that all defencive measures are being used to protect national embassies on the core islands, and urges national representatives, ambassadores, and negociators to remain calm, yet be prepared for evacuation.

KRAIGEL ADVANCE LEADS TO CAPTURE OF OUTLYING ISLANDS

2053PM, August 30, 2134: Due to unknown difficulties currently being investigated by military officials, orbital sensory has been unable to detect incomming Kraigel air units incomming toward the north western outskirt islands this evening. Consulate members suggest it is most likely sensor jamming technology, and ensures that orbital sensors will be fully opperational later this evening. Though strong effort is being made to counter this threat to the homestead, Kraigel Faction forces have just recently captured the outlying islands of Rainstead Atoll, Stickhenge Island, and the Sarade cluster. Though little tactical information is avaliable at the moment, officials state Prelate Hausilous is mobalizing a small task group to penitrate deep behind the Kraigel offencive by using our own jamming technology. Security is said to be reassured for the core-islands this evening as lines are currently being held, and are expected to be held indefinetely for the time being.
