Zamper, in the last few decades has run low in Gold and Silver, so mining companies turned to Coal and Iron Ore. A mining grouo had found a oil field on the coast while searching for coal, a week later a government team found out the oil field is bigger then orignally throught. The 1.5 trillion oil barrel field is the largest oil find in Zamper ever found. Since the government is short on money after a war with communsits, the Zamper Government will auction it off to any oil companies. half a million Zamper troops have been sent to protect the oil field.

It sounds like someone is ringing the dinner bell for the CA/Blackhelm mob.

I would suggest a rider on the contract to supply your country with oil at a set rate for 30 years. That way you won't be at the mercy of market spikes and wack-o terrorists of the religious or cooperate kind.

That said, we regret to state that Terra's energy giants have declined to place bids, following a statement from Prime Minister Talus Karn that our armed forces would not be able to guarantee the safety of commercial drilling operations.

As far as the rest of the world was concerned, Ancient Terra had said their piece and excused themselves from the bloodbath that was about to occur in Zamper. Indeed, were a satellite to peer down at Terra's docks, they would notice nothing unusual. Nor would a peek at the several deployed Terran Battlegroups reveal suspicious activity. As far as appearances were concerned, Terra was content to sit this one out.

But very few knew about BLUE Fleet. Deploying from the Blue Aegis submarine pen, drilled into the continental shelf, BLUE was known only to a select number of Terra's closest allies. Following a direct order from Emperor Kamiya himself, the Sango had been dispatched to just outside of Zamperian waters in order to "monitor the situation" and, if necessary, "take appropriate actions to safeguard national interests".

As a result of these rather vague orders, Captain Iga essentially had the authority to do anything he judged necessary. He stood up at the sound of approaching footsteps and turned, just in time to see Commander Yuri Maiakofski step onto the bridge.

"Captain Iga, sir. SIGINT has pieced together the message we intercepted an hour ago. It appears to be the Blackhelm Confederacy, they're demanding a significant tribute in order to avoid bloodshed."

Iga took the print-out, scanning it quickly. Standard procedure while gathering intelligence was to unreel a number of highly sensitive (and fairly undetectable) antennas and float them to the surface, while the submarine remained at approximately 400m below. Although they had yet to ascertain the position or force composition of potential combatants, one antenna had intercepted a faint message and Signals Intelligence had set to work decrypting and clearing up the data. In the meantime, Iga had ordered the vessel to 800m, far below the crush-depth of most other submarines.

"Interesting. Standard strong-arm tactics for Griffincrest. If we're to secure supply contracts from this field, we can't have it falling into enemy hands." Iga turned to his left. "Communications, prepare a message for Vice Admiral Inoue; request that she pass this up to Lord Admiral Ishida. Indicate our intention to locate and track the assumed Blackhelm battlegroup; we will take no further action until given orders to do so. Attach the intercepted transmission and transmit over ELF as soon as possible."

"Aye, Captain." confirmed the Lieutenant in charge of communications. Iga turned back to the front of the boat, directing his gaze at the two helmsman. "Helm, make your depth 600 meters, shallow ascent. Engineering, give me maximum speed for silent running." The two departments nodded their understanding and a slight thrum ran through the deck as the MHD drives came online and began displacing water.

Satisfied, Iga sat back down in his chair. "We're hunting an enemy battlegroup. They're bigger, slower and heavier than we are. There are more of them. If they see us before we see them, we're in trouble. If we don't locate them, potentially millions of people will die. So find those ships. Now."

+++Adygea had no satellites at the present moment—a problem which it was rapidly working to rectify—and so could not monitor the situation in such a way that the Adygean Ministry of Defence could see for themselves the fleet that Griffincrest had, predictably, deployed to force yet another nation to bow under its muscle.
+++However, a call placed to the Adygean Foreign Ministry from the equivalent Zamperi agency alerted the Black Sea power to the possibility that its commitment to the defence of the suddenly oil-rich nation would be called upon. In reply, the appropriate sailors and Naval Infantry were called up from their peacetime activities and loaded aboard ships constituting what was dubbed 'Maritime Task Force A', one of three battlegroups of the Adygean Navy. It was made up of two Lyov Bacherikov-class TAKRs (the first appropriately christened the Lyov Bacherikov; the second christened the Gromoboi), an updated model of the Admiral Kuznetsov class of Soviet design, three H/K submarines running on diesel, three anti-ship cruisers, two anti-aircraft cruisers, three destroyers and two frigates [ed. note: bear with me on the classes and specs of the ships—I haven't gotten them down yet]. Isidor Consortium of Corporations raises the bid to 34 trillion USD, half of which will be payed by Maldorian Oil, and notifies the Zamper Government that it is the ICC's policy to hire mostly local workers and adhere to any local labor laws.

Right now the Isidor Consortium of Corporations has the high bid, thoguh some government officals are prefering Jones Energy Company order. The bid is closed tomorrow night.

Upon recieving the hail from the fighter planes overhead, the stealth vessels unleashed a salvo of several dozen Skynet missiles, ensuring that the flight would never make it back to base. This was immediatly followed by over one hundred Tomahawk missiles being launched into what seemed to be the largest nearby naval base. Before the missiles would even make contact with their targets, the ships would be gone, and the government of Zampers would be left trying to figure out what the hell had just happened.

The ships bore no markings, and so accusing Griffincrest, although logical, would not be a definite hit, and Griffincrest lawyers had already had mounds of paperwork (albeit falsified) to prove that no such vessels are operated by the Griffincrest Corporation, and that there were no Griffincrest ships nearby.

This was going to be the beginning of a really, really shitty day for Zampers.

The anti-missile launchers quickly fired at incoming missiles. ships were also firing their missile launcher at the Tomahawk missiles, half of the missils were hit, the other half blasted a couple of destoryers.

"Looks like we need to land, Jack" Claudius said as he watched the television report of the sale of oil in Zampers. Within the hour, the Griffincrest Second Fleet, still somwhat sore over never getting to engage the Tocrowkian fleet off of the Free Furry Islands. Hopefully this time, they would get to see some blood shed.
