Sawney Island Land Plot Fortified
In a recent news conference, the Director of State Affairs spoke about why the Federation of Theoroshia claimed the plot on Sawney Island.
"The Federation feels that claiming this plot [#12] is in the best interest of the people of Theoroshia."
The Director also mentioned that the plot had numerous resources located on it.
"It [The island] has resources such as tin, ore, and timber...The government is planning on gathering these resources while not damaging the enviroment on the plot."
Additionally, the Director of the Military spoke on the matter of defending the island.
"The plot has numerous areas where military installations can be erected, and as we speak engineers, builders, and supplies are being sent to the plot to build ports, air fields, and army barracks. Also, the Federation is contracting numerous companies to start building communities in this plot."
The Military Hero, who earned the status in the Battle of the Shoelz, also talked about how the military is fortifying the area.
"[We are] erecting a fence that shows where our borders lie, and are placing anti-aircraft guns and launchers in a variety of places, in particular in the army installations. Also, we are fortifying the coast and ports with huge guns and missile batteries."
The Director wished to assure the neighbor plot holders that they wished no harm to them.
"It is simply a matter of homeland defense", he said.
