A message from PyThomas Olbracht, Chancellor of Overbecland:
I would like to welcome all our international visitors to New Burningman's annual Burning Man Overbecland Festival, a celebration of extreme individuality and the civil cooperative ethic, in the spirit of the original Burning Man festival, and with no sandstorms to hassle you, either. Enjoy the festivities!
---------------------------------
Festival Grounds Info: Located on the west side of the Greater New Burningman area on the shores of Lake Turner, the 3,000-acre Blackrock Park is capable of holding a good few million revelers. Tall oak trees ring the open fields in the middle of the park, where the Burning Base sits right in the center. There are thousands of campsites in the park, and those Burners who aren't big on "roughing it" can stay at the nearby 400-room Blackrock Lakeside Hotel adjacent to Blackrock Park.
A new feature was added to the annual festivities a couple years ago, for veteran Burners who were nostalgic for the old Nevada desert location: the Sandbox, a 4,000-square-foot transparent dome with a sand beach inside. The Sandbox serves as a regular indoor beach year-round, but during the Burning Man festival, huge fans periodically blow the sand around, re-creating the sandstorm effect.
The festival will run all this week until next Tuesday, the day after Labor Day.

OOC Notes: This is meant to be a peaceful gathering. Any bombings, hijackings, invasions, riots or other acts of war or violence will be ignored and/or regarded as hallucinations by the respective griefer nations. But by all means, party as hard as you want.
