The Republic of Dweladelfia announces today the discovery or an Island chain 1,237 Miles north of the Dweladelfian Islands. These islands are rich in resources. A number of bays and same gulf areas are located in the Sawney islands. There are positions were harbors can be constructed. Oil is found on the 2 main islands. Other resources can be found elsewhere. A unit of The Navy mobile Construction Battalions has compiled a map of the Island chain as well as a resource map. We have divided up the island chain into plots which we are opening for claiming.

A fleet of New Vantanians sailed into the bay, dropping off scores of marines, government sanctioned colonists, and penal wokers. Meanwhile, a steady river of private entrepeneurs, members of the New Vantanian Colonial Company, construction workers, frontiersmen, missionaries, the unemployed*, and many more.

While the outline of coastal ports started to form, the high supply of workers making the first city, Port Goldenshine, quickly taking form. Meanwhile, the navy published a statement to all nations with presences in the Sawney Isles.

News Report from the Minos Herald, a Shesharlie newspaper

In lieu with the recent developments in and around the Gerasimos Bay area, the Sheshan Company of National Expansion (SCNE) has set afoot on the northern shores of Crescent Island [OOC: I hope we can all adopt this name?] excited to begin their first colonization project. Supplies and manpower are steadily flowing onto the beaches of the tropical island and slowly turning the local area into developed land. The main port of traffic that the SCNE has establish has been named Port Rantsa. The port is still open for development and the government is encouraging eager citizens to bring their business and commerce to the island.

From what the surveyors from the SCNE have found, there are rich deposits of minerals to be mined and processed in Sheshan territory. The chief surveyor commented "This island holds great opportunities for the nation of Shesharlie, thanks to its mineral deposits in the rain forests. I hope that it is safe to say that there will be more than a few successful mining towns developing within the year."

The colony, officially dubbed Rantsa (after its chief port) has the Sheshan government on its feet and itching to get things rolling.

The Dominion of Emperor Pudu does not ask for "plot fourteen," we take it. Garrison forces are en route to this obviously vital colony. Our claims will not be disputed.

If you were to create a second thread, I would suggest simply adding on to the existing map, perhaps adding some islands to the north or west or something.

That way, people's colonies can be nearby, and they can claim it as one, and save space in their signatures. (For those people who still have room to list those kinds of things...)

New Grevestok

The 4th Battlegroup dropped anchor four miles off the coast of the plot of land now being called New Grevestok. The fleet was by no means spectacular, but then again, the Kroandan Navy was never known for it's prowess. The vessels however were overly busy, dropping off landing craft by the hundreds, for instance over 800 MHAV-24 Horns were dumped into the water, and they quickly sped onland, securing the coast. They were accompanied by scores of amphibious assault craft, and shortly after, massive landing vessels.

The first order of business was setting up some sort of base camp, Ft. Kanex, named after the commander of the force on the island, Marshall Kanex, was immidiately placed under construction. Thousands of pounds of concrete were unloaded from the transport vessels as fixed defensive positions were errected, bunkers created and trench lines dug out. There was not an idle man in the force, as sand bags were filled and gun emplacements erected. As SAM sites were brought online and mobile RADAR-LADAR Units set up. As thousands upon thousands of supply crates were hauled towards the camp. As fuel and ammo dumps were formed. As tents were errected. As the Terran Flag was raised.

Sorry, but the way you were talking, it sounded as if the thread was over, at least claims-wise. I really would have asked, had I thought it would have made a difference.

I was joking. One-line posts asking someone else for arbitrarily defined land are about as good as one-line posts about taking arbitrarily defined land are, I figured. However, That's understandable, and I'll just wait for the next bit to come along, as you did say you were going to extend the map.

I'll ask for some colonies over there.

"Hello, this is Michael Young reporting live from the SWN world news headquarters.

Our top story tonight is about an interesting development on the government's latest colony, Rantsa- located in the Sawney Islands.

Local colonizers have successfully established themselves in the Shesharlie-controlled colony on Crescent Island, and are producing substantial income in mining and lumbering the local area.

One mine in particular, the site of an ancient impact crater in the middle of the jungle has been reported to harbor uranium ore. "The discovery of uranium in Sheshan territory greatly increases its value," Claimed one government official, "...and the Confederacy of Shesharlie intends on utilizing this resource to benefit the nation."

Plans to build a refining facility are underway and the government insists that the facility will only be able to produce 5% enriched uranium, just enough for use in nuclear power plants.

A large fleet departed Aurum Domus to the new colonies of Torva Terra and Torva Insula. They carried inflatable buildings that they would use for initial setup and other building supplies. They were accompanied by a good sized military force even though a conflict wasn't expected. The initial amount fo colonists was aroudn 100,000 but if the colony was successful over a million would settle over the next year.

Herema Territory

The U.S.S. Eridanus was sailing across the Bay of Panaglotakis on official business. The Herema Territory had been acquired only recently and although the land was mostly desert wastes, they did make up in a rich mineral wealth.

Now all that was to be done was prospect the lands. The Battleship cast anchor just off shore and a boat with a company of marines was sent ashore. The landing party walked along a beach inland for a short while until they came upon a small hill.

A makeshift flag pole was made and the marines saluted as the Cookeslandic Tricolor rose and fluttered in the seabreeze.

With the establishment of an operational uranium enrichment plant, the nation of Shesharlie wasted no time building a nuclear power plant just outside of Port Rantsa. The power plant has the capacity to serve power to all of the territory of Rantsa and most of its adjacent neighbors. The power grid will be fully functional in 8 months [OOC- assuming 1 RL day = 1 RP year and 2 RL hours = 1 RP month].

With the masses of iron ore deposits found in the jungle-filled interior, a Sheshan company decided to establish the island chain's first steel plant, located just west of Port Rantsa. With iron so readily available, the islanders are able to create high-quality steel comparatively cheaply.

[OOC: Umm... no. First of all, you only asked for "package 24," not 5. Second of all, it was four minutes after AD did regardless of what you say about lag.]

The TPS Howell lll , Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carrier floated along with a couple of cruise ships taking colonists with developers to their colony. Also present was a Wasp-class Amphibious Assault Craft with 10,000 troops. And a Zumwalt-class destroyer. All for the defense of the colony.

Within the week Dealthy Hallows Corporation was expected to muscle into the VDB Oil Market, claiming all of the VDB's colony's oil. Ships would come within the week. DHC was also sending ships to take care of the gold deposits discovered. Other minor companies were expected to come to harness the hydropower for the colony's city, as well as uranium and tin deposits.

The Amphibious Assualt Craft landed, along with the cruise ships. Prince Thomas Vanek was there to inaugurate the VDB's new colony. A Vanek'ian flag was stuck into the ground. "This place shall be called Tiod!" said Vanek. "Hooray!" said all of the people there. "This is where the city of Tiod will be!" also said Vanek. "Let's get to work with a dock! Then, a city can arise!"

OOC: The city is expected to take NS 1 month to build, since around 25,000 people are working on it.

New Grevestok

And by what luck would the newfound enemy of Kroando have a colony directly to the south of Kroando? What luck indeed. The VDB was highly suspected of arming Hexonian Rebels, landing special ops. units inside the island, and even firing ICBM's at the island. [Mokastana did that... but I blame you.] And now there was a little island in the middle of nowhere in which the Kroandans could exact a little bit of revenge, and grab some land at the same time.

Ft. Kanex was up and running in less than four days. Built around (and on) a large oasis in the desert, it was fully equipped with sand bag walls, concrete trench lines, pill boxes, emplaced anti-tank guns, SAM Sites (24 Rotating SDCI Pods), LACI Launchers and several SteelFire Missile Platforms. There were over 10,000 Combat Personel stationed here, thus there were rows of tents, officer trailers, warehouses for food and weapon storage and outhouses. There was also a large communication tower, five mobile RADAR/LADAR stations and parking areas for the forces on the island.

And so 3,000 men mounted in humvees, riding on tanks and hanging onto the sides of APC's. There were a total of 150 Humvees, 100 G-24 Strikers, 25 Kraken II's, 25 ID-57's, 50 Puma IFV's, ten C-24 Big Guns, five Bofors 40mm's, ten 155mm Guns and five VL-7 Demolishers sent south, directly at plot ten. They would move into the desert, find the most habitable spot, and set up camp.

Corsica Minoris. Recently obtained in a rush to colonize the Sawney Islands. A scattering of tropical islands, lacking any important natural resources other than hardwoods and offshore oil deposits...but it was free land, and the Imperium was never too busy to let such a thing slide by unnoticed.

Major General Artican, commander of the 112th Legion, surveyed the site of the first Corsican city from the bridge of Bruttium, the recently-recommissioned Vengeance-class escort dreadnaught in command of Task Force Corsica's naval arm. It was a symbol for this whole expedition; just as the Bruttium utterly failed to compare to the Imperium's Apophis-class flagships, so the construction site was a pale imitation of the edifices of the rest of the Empire. There were palaces in Kregaia bigger than this whole nascent town. The general sighed.

It was impatience that fueled thoughts like these, he knew. He'd been deployed in Tiraeum when it had been colonized, and had spent the whole time being incredibly bored; it looked like he would spend the next few months in yet another semi-foreign hellhole, looking on as techs and engineers got the facilities ready so colonists and workers could begin arriving in the new province. Eventually it would be a thriving outpost of the Kregaian Empire, and plans were underway for the Sawney Islands: Kregaian Standard Oil, Inc., was in a bidding war against the Piraeus Extraction Company for the oil deposits in the area, and more importantly, word in the Palace was that more troops were going to be on their way to Corsica Minoris soon. A lot more.

Maj. General Artican, already bored as hell, could only hope the time was coming quickly.

Quickly word was sent back to the VDB that Kroando had claimed the colony next door to the VDB. An extra 10,000 forces were sent within the week as well as an airport built and 100 Abram tanks sent.

Pepperbox LSVs were quick to put out from mainland Manth carrying many of the supplies which would be needed to consolidate Manth's hold over its new claim. Engineers and soldiers soon began landing in the former Area 5, now rechristened Overseas Economic Zone 7 of the Greater Economic Union.

Bulldozers, drilling equipment, rollers, and supplies such as concrete and steel were quickly unloaded as work began on a makeshift dock and airstrip, which would in turn be used to bring in materials for more permanent settlements. Meanwhile, the borders were being marked off with buried GPS devices, barbed wire, and such to discourage any opportunistic neighbors. Land mines, SAM sites and artillery would soon follow once the logistics pipeline really got up and running.

Having been unable up until this point to establish much of a presence in the new colony due to logistical constraints, the USSC government swiftly puts its three new Ilyushin Il-76s to work, ferrying engineering equipment to the area to set up an airstrip for ease of use. As this work begins, plans are drawn up for the transportation of mining equipment to the area to begin setting up excavation areas, along with designs for basic seaport construction to enable access to the areas. The first fifty personnel to arrive - a mixture of infantry soldiers and construction staff - begin to construct portable buildings around the new airstrip.

At home, the USSC government declares the colony a 'protected territory' a names the area the Cynapsian Sawney Islands, before officially setting up the Sub-Kommissariat for Sawney Colonial Administration to task the development and exploitation of mineral resources in the Cynapsian area.

As the Port of Rantsa opens up for duty-free business, scores of trade ships and merchants dock. The trade industry immediately booms in the port city and a melting pot of cultures distant and near collide. Arms, vehicles, spirits, jewelry, steel products, and other commodities come and go within the small city's streets and docks. Although this has been a positive occurrence, crime has significantly increased in the port city, causing the Sheshan government to send F and G companies of the 51st Infantry Division of the National Sheshan Army to quell the criminals and to re-establish order and serenity.

The Cruiser WIS Leo bobbed ineffectively in the water as surrounding support vessels zipped about carrying out regiments of the Divine Legion and laborers who marveled in the sun lit shores of a tropical island. Waldenburg itself was a desolate desert place, where water was more rare then silver, and trees grow only artificially. Soldiers strolled up and down the beach taking in the view, the same had happened in the other colony, New Jerusalem it had been called, the soldiers had simply gazed at the canopy of leaves, the endless blue sky without a hint of industrial decay. The islands were named Paradise, and aptly so, as dolphins flitted through the waters seducing even the Officers to wiggle their toes in Waldenburg’s newest conquest.

“Why?” Colonel Seasons, a pleasantly bearded man with a faint smile asked as he stepped of his dingy, “why give us this for free ? No tariffs, no cash, no favors, I cannot believe that this is what it seems.” An aide de camp danced around him, either with eagerness to be dismissed or heat rash. The colonel waved him off when it ceased to be amusing, turning to scan his island paradise, they said it had mineral wealth, but he couldn’t even imagine the Waldenburger that could tear this up. “Such beauty, and I hear the north is even better.”

The colonel strolled passed soldiers, who for the first time in their military careers failed to salute, they swung on hammocks and threw sand at on another. Grown men who had tortured children in the name of the Bishops, were throwing sand at one another. The colonel wondered if that’s why this place had been free, it changed honest torturing bastards into this. His walk ended in a grove of mango trees where the laborers had set up a open air office for the commanding officer. A desk had been pulled ashore and a few of his personal effects were standing forlornly on a dresser.

Seasons eased himself into a chair, apprehensive, at any moment he suspected, snakes, or pygmies, or at least something. All he got was creak out of his chair which was molding already in this moist environment. Chester Seasons settled back and flipped out the letter h had been given, it was a standard you have done well card, with his name filled in, but he cherished more then any medal, any commendation of any lord.

Months passed by in Corsica Minor.

The site of Palma, once nothing more than the campsite of the 112th Legion and an expanse of mud and unfinished foundations, had become a thriving provincial town. Already over forty thousand civilians lived in the city; a prefabricated harbor had been sent over from Kregaia and was now the real center of the town, adjacent to the stores and the workshops that allowed the inhabitants to turn a profit. Fishermen would wake in the mornings, catch the bounty of the oceans, and sell them; transport companies were being contracted to take the exotic fish back to Kregaia, where they were sold as delicacies. Kregaian Standard Oil had paid the Imperium quite a few trillion dollars for control of the oil fields in the area; the Imperium, in turn, was skimming billions of dollars off of that amount to pay for not only the influx of supplies and personnel, but the massive military buildup in the area.

SAM emplacements had been built around Palma, as well as artillery of calibers ranging from 155mm to 460mm Colossus guns, plus a few hugely expensive 810mm railguns. Airfields had been cleared in the rainforest, lined with warehouses of ammo, missiles, fuel, and parts; beyond the civilian dwellings, a vast expanse of barracks had sprung up to house the thousands of KIAF personnel being directed there. Outside the bay where the fishermen teemed bobbed the massive hulks of hundreds of warships, with more arriving every day. The entire Seventh Fleet was on its way here, bringing with it more troop transports, more cargo ships. Major General Artican had received a dossier entitled 'Operation Zama' with strict instructions not to open it until an authorized commander arrived from the Empire.

Ships sat in the harbor of Palma. Minefields were set up offshore, as oil deposits were pinpointed and exploited. New towns sprang up around the island. Wave after wave of troops, tanks, aircraft, and artillery was delivered onshore, where they drilled endlessly. New guns and weapons emplacements were set up. Companies invested, immigrants arrived, and businesses sprang up. Corsica Minor was becoming an Imperial province...albeit one soon to be under the shadow of war.

The first few months in Torva Terra and Torva Insula were quite exciting times. A sprawling military base and port in northern Torva Terra was nearly complete and mines had been setup on the rich deposits of platinum and gold in TT and nickel in TI.

Around 150,000 citizens had made their way to these new colonies and some had already put up permanent houses. Most of them were still living in Kampferian inflatable houses that had come with the original colonial fleet.

The Aurum Doman navy kept up a large presence in Spiros Bay and around Torva Insula. They were making quite the profit taxing trading trading ships coming in and out of the bay.

The current plans for the colonies was to make Torva Insula partly a resort island and partly a huge naval base such as what had been done in Gart and Statand Island many years before. New colonies were just the cashcow The Armed Republic was looking for and now they were prospering again.

Drums thundered and trumpets played, as the sun beat down on Major General Artican, sweating in the tropical heat. He stood at attention, facing the gangplank of the Imperial supercarrier Winds of War, on a dock lined by ranks of Legionaries in full dress uniform. The bay had been cleared of fishing boats for today, and had been filled instead with warships; destroyers and cruisers lay anchored in formation, another recognition of the arrival of the man who would command Task Force Corsica in the mysterious Operation Zama.

That man, specially reassigned from Tiraeum, was someone Artican had worked with in the past and been quite surprised by. General Decevus Ctani, it was commonly believed, had been on somebody's blacklist during Lucifer's reign; not very hard to believe, given his irreverence and independent attitude. However, Artican believed, the new regime was giving him a chance to prove himself worth the annoyance of his attitude by giving him command of Task Force Corsica. It wasn't all that important, anyway: what mattered was that Decevus Ctani was capable and intelligent, and although Artican didn't actually know what Operation Zama consisted of, as he saw the General striding down the gangplank, striking an intimidating figure in his ceremonial armor, he could believe that whatever it was, General Ctani would do it.

They were back in the military facilities outside Palma, in the tent specially reserved for the commander-in-chief, enjoying a few drinks while Ctani briefed his subordinate on Operation Zama.

"Now, officially, I'm not supposed to tell you this until the major briefing tomorrow. But here's the deal on Operation Zama. What you have to understand is that this shitty little island was obtained in a deal with the Dweladelfian government. We didn't hear about it until quite some time after the offer was extended, so we could only get this. Now, Ishamael is normally a very civil man, as you've probably heard, but he's pissed that we get stuck with just this hellhole and nothing else. He wants land in the area, and he wants it now. So he's sent the troops and the supplies and all that, so that in a short time we can hop across the ocean and seize the target area." He took a long sip of his whiskey and leaned back.

"What is the target area?" Artican asked.

"Well, it's just southwest of here. Belongs to...Vanek Drury Brieres. Or I think that's the name. Never heard of them before now, but they're about to get their shit ruined, so they'll have heard of us. So...yeah. That's Operation Zama: wipe them out and do it damn quick. I'd say we'll move out in less than a week."

One week. One week before the Imperium poured out its wrath on its neighbor. Artican shivered with anticipation. He could hardly wait.

In the Maldorian colony, Marines scurried left and right. The region was brewing with activity as the regional fleet had just left their docks. Troops, tanks, and equipment were being loaded onto the docked ships. The new type of Maldorian tank, the Mirza Main Battle Tank, were also some of the tanks being loaded. After extensive research and development, designers came up with the Mirza. They would be a shock to the daft Aurum Domus soldiers.

The colonies founded on these sets of islands were named after the Crown Princess and heir to the throne of Jaredcohenia, the Protectorate of Kristinia was soon met by colonists who felt like hoarding the timber and assets that lied beneath, but failed to recognize that the colony and all property on it was the property of the Imperium itself.

With colonists came protection for said colonists, protection being around 500 Nakil tanks and 150 Cardinal fighters. With the settling of the colony, protection was needed. Protection for the colony, in more than fighters and tanks, came in the installation of missile silos and MOAR emplacements.

The capital of the colony, Ferransk, was fortified more than the other towns there. It stood on a large iron deposit, which would soon be strip mined.

The colony of Kristinia was small at the moment, yes. However, soon the colony would increase in size. If not willfully, then with the might of the small platoon which stood there.

As the weeks passed, more soldiers, construction materials and heavy industrial machinery flowed into the colony at an ever-increasing rate. Along with them came workers - not civilians, but convicts and prisoners. The newly designated Overseas Economic Zone 7 was to be the first overseas penal colony, where convicts and undesirables of all stripes - political prisoners, petty criminals, felons, and others - could work off their 'debt' to society. Now possessing a fully functioning port, airport, and several military airstrips and bases, the colony was beginning to kick into high gear. In a week the first shipments of oil and metals would begin leaving the colony, and the government's initial investments would begin to pay for themselves.

Manth wasn't finished with the colony, though - quite the opposite. A large number of troops had arrived along with the workers, and hardened artillery positions were being constructed in the southwestern mountains even as troops and armored formations massed in the southeast. Men and materiel continued to flow in, and within the week troop numbers on the ground would exceed a hundred thousand.

Their target? A secret, of course, but probably not a terribly difficult one to guess. There was really only one possibility - the so-called Darkstalker Empire to the south, which was sitting on large oil reserves that were just too tempting to pass up.

"Let all countries in the area know that Shesharlie means peace before war, but we'd rather war than be trampled due to passiveness."

As the months had passed, the little desert territory had come to life. The now territorial capital, Harbor City, was now the shipping, mining, and transport center with a growing population of 5,000 full of people seeking new lives, miners, and service men and women

Governor Mary Wu was talking with General Haran Wetanu, who was in charge of the base in the harbor and several of her advisors. The situation in the Sawney Islands had become...a bit more...well, she could really think of a good word for it.

What General told her was nothing new to her ears, she knew alot more than she let on. Basically, as far away as Herema was there was talk in Coricas of extending the territory, for Cookesland had grown hungry for minerals and land of late. Ans now with all the fighting going on in the region it's eyes were now shifting to the the tin-rich lands to the south.

"Well, let's hope it does not turn to that." she replied coldly

The Wehermacht sent Heeresgruppe B, which deployed the 268.Infanterie-Division, 269.Infanterie-Division and 232.Panzer-Division, 233.Panzer-Division, that patrolled the borders and built fortresses and other defensive buildings, maybe in the future they won't be needed but no one could be sure.

To support the building of facilities, the safety of the population and the protection of the 3 Military Airports ( 2 of them in hands of the Luftwaffe ) where the flow of building and war supplies arrived to support the defense of the Island from any foreign invader.

The Luftwaffe continuosly flew over the borders of the colony and kept close surveillance of the oil fields and the vast jungle.
The population meanwhile tried to live their lifes as normally as they could relaxing on the beaches and vacation centers, trying to ignore the more notorious military presence.

The Project for the Development of the Galbadia colony is to make it one of the best resort and vacation destinations on the Empire and the World, also it would be one of the research and industry centers of the empire, specially in the nothern part of the colony.

Hotels, spas, villas and restaurants were the common view on the southern part of the colony, where retired citizens and young students were usually seen relaxing there ,meanwhile on the north, cities and industrial and research compounds were the notorious buildings.
Companies were trying to build their facilities where theire employees were happy to be relocated with their families.

But it was easy to find military bases and airfields all over the territory.
The development of the colony was increasing as more people settled there to live and relax.
As the new crown jewel, it needed to be protected and the Government will do it.

With the university nearing completion, many are getting anxious to see its splendor. Some are already migrating to the territory of Rantsa to embrace the University's upcoming opening.

F and G companies that have been stationed in Port Rantsa to quell the crime have been reported to be suppressing the issue, with fewest incidents in five months. The Alfegos government notifies the contesting nations of the area that it is claiming 20 square miles of the sea floor starting 5 miles north of the northen cluster of islands.

This area is forbidden to other nations unless they have status indigo or higher, or express permission from the outpost there.

Any submarines and ships in the area are warned that they will be fired upon if they have not vacated the waters within 6 hours.

The 4 large transports, with only registration numbers, were parked in the centre of the claimed area. They began to lower to the sea bed the underwater station for the storage and delivery of oil, that had been dragged between two. The others began to edge to the perimeter, and started marking off the area claimed by Alfegos with red buoys. Once done, with sensor buoys deployed, the ships moved back towards home.

Behind them, a group of 10 divers had sunk below the surface, to check the unit, and to test out the emergency room: a pressurised airlock into a small, equipped interior, in case a diver ran out of air or otherwise, and wait to resurface.

SIC:

The war was not meant to be fought in Nova Europa for the nation of Kampfers. Instead, they would be concentrating on hitting Maldorians in their colonies. The resistance would be weak, as the Mandalorian troops were commited elsewhere. An invasion of The Northern Baltic and the defense of their homeland strained their troops such that they could not defend their colonies against true attack. Nevertheless, resistance would be futile. The colonies would fall under the mighty fist of Kampfers and its allies.

Through the aid of a massive airlift effort, Kampferian troops begin to pour into the Aurum Domus claim. The fleet said to be inbound on Maldorians was now headed here, and they would be arriving soon. It was a massive fleet, and would crush any Maldorian resistance. KM-180's ammassed at strategic spots of the border. When they time came, they would unleash hell along any Maldorian troops. Behind them, waves of Nakils and Eiko helicopters stood ready to make use of blitzkrieg once the bombardment stopped. Massive airliners from Kriegzimmer transported immense numbers of soldiers and tanks into the nation. Within a matter of days, Kampferian soldiers outnumbered those of Aurum Domus.

More importantly, air support was arriving. 50 TF-70's arrived, and would be vital in the upcoming conflict. 200 Cardinals arrived, and more would come with the arrival of the fleet. 50 B-22 Zeus' came, as well as 50 Sariels. The Zeus' would provide some heavy hitting, and the Sariel's strategic bombing. In all, the wave would push through the Maldorian colony with all speed, with aid coming from their Wagdian and Aurum Doman allies. Speed was of the essence, as they would quickly route the enemy, and if they held true, would not face reinforcements.

There was a single word that described what the Maldorians were in for - Hell, utter and total hell; fire and brimstone; the skys would burn and rivers would run red with Maldorian blood; the Maldorians would be scorched from this world and into the next by the purifing fires as the Kampferians unleashed hell. But for now, they stood. Not because they deserved too, but because they were tolerated. But that would only last for a time.

Torva Terra, Sawney Islands

As the Kampferians arrived the small colonial defense force was mobilised.
The airforce consisted of fifty recently built TF 70s and 100 old SuF Phoenixes. There were also 75 FA 16s on the carriers of the defense fleet but those were only going to be used if necessary.
There were around 25,000 Marines and 30,000 Army soldiers ready to fight. Between them there were 2,000 M1A2 Abrams tanks, not a huge number but sufficent.

A good amount of the civillian population was evacuated into the bomb shelters of the central rainforests and some others chose to leave Torva Terra on the large transport ships that had regular ferry service between Torva Terra and Aureus Insula.

The enemy would be crushed by the iron fist of the UFAN war machine.

As Fifteenth and Eleventh Fleets arrived in the Sawney Islands theater, after deciding to proceed directly rather than make any uncertain rendezvous with Clandonian forces that might need to be elsewhere for whatever reason, Admiral Renton Ivers stood ready to order his forces into action for the first time in this particular Combined Fleet's case. He knew it wouldn't be unduly difficult, unless of course the enemy had gotten enough reinforcements in to make good on more than just bombing the Aurum Doman claims in the area as threatened to prior; but for now it was thought that things were well-enough in UFAN hands in this theater.

As the ships formed up far over the horizon from the Maldorian claims, FA-15E navalized Cardinals zooming off on their rotating fleet-defense BARCAPs while the Priests took the closer-in work, strike munitions were being readied down below. Fenix antishipping missiles, bombs of every size up to 1500kg and every guidance type, and so on were being readied for action. Within the ten assembled supercarriers' massive well decks and aboard the assault ships, two whole divisions' of Marines plus their attached commando brigades prepared for action; the commandos ideally to helicopter in under attack chopper escort and begin seizing the inland perimeter of any landing zone just after beach recon signaled clearance. Speaking of which, some fifty Vladimir class submarines were creeping forward beyond the fleet towards any beaches that might be stormed, readying their human torpedo loads to dispense 12-man reconnaissance teams once operations were go. Fifty other subs in two independent wolfpacks, Akulas and Oscars, also crept closer until they could prepare for their part in the operation.

Ideally, once the hammer fell, a coordinated strike like few in UFAN had ever launched would commence. And once that hit, the Maldorians would learn all too well the price for threatening a UFAN member like they had several times over by now. Yes, they would learn indeed.

With a heightened sense of imminent danger, The Rantsa governor has put the territory in a Level 3 security. Out of 5, level 3 will tighten port securities, nullifying the duty-free trade temporarily, and increase boarder securities [minimally on the eastern boarder] so that any unwanted traveler may be apprehended. This tightened security measure is not expected to hinder inter-territory travel or is it expected to hinder trade, specifically at Port Rantsa. For F and G companies stationed in Port Rantsa- they have been ordered to increase their patrols; The rest of the 51st Infantry Division has been put on stand-by, ready to ship out to Rantsa, if needed.

The Shesharlie Navy has been put on high alert and has been ordered to make routine patrols of Rantsa's and Darkstalker's waters, as well as patrol its inland areas. Admiral Johan von Ismay, aboard his flagship, the SN-Radical is ready to make strictly defensive combat with any intruding forces.

With further expansion in Rantsa, officials have decided to construct a 4-runway airport 10 miles SouthEast of Port Rantsa. With the construction estimated at 10 months, Rantsa will soon be open to the skies on a large scale.

Half of the airport will be dedicated to the 9th Airlift Wing of the Shesharlie Air Force. 8 C-130J aircraft as well as 2 LC-130's and 2 KC-130's will be based at the Airport. The other half of the airport will be dedicated to public and commercial use, allowing commercial jets as large as Boeing 747's to land.

Local officials are anticipating a large increase in growth rate when the airport is completed.

Northern Section of VDB Colony

"HALT!", shouted a Kroandon Tank Commander, holding up his hand as an indication that the force should stop, and immidiately, it did. Though not as a direct result of his hand, but due to the order issued through the Helicon Battle System. Within seconds the entire force had stopped, just north of the VDB colony, and within a minute, it was setting up firing positions.

Spy satellites had picked up over 1,000 men seemingly walking right at them... and so it was expected that the VDB was going to meet them. The Kroandon force waited... and waited... until the enemy came within 50 miles of their location. And then bam. Five VL-7 Demolishers began firing 400mm 450lb high explosive shells at their location, as did 10 240mm guns from the C-24's, and the ten 155mm towed guns also joined in the barrage. Kampferian troops moved in to the formerly Maldorian occupied territory number twenty five. It was obvious they had left in haste, as they had not even taken the time to remove the infastructure they had built up. At the heads of all the columns, minesweepers made sure the path stayed clear. Within days, Kampferian settlers would arrive to replace those that had left. For the time being, the large Kampferian garrison would hold down the fort.

The Darkstalker Empire announced the building of a new 8 lane uber autobahn ( super highway )running across the colony to its northern border with Rantsa, we'll need Shesharlie cooperation with this project to build this highway all across the joint colonies.
