Introduction:
Black Rain Munitions Incorporated was created when three of the up and coming arms dealers in the world merged under a new name. Pearce Weaponries, Kampferian Weaponries and its subsidiaries, and Republic Defense Industries all merged to sell their weapon systems in collaboration with one another, rather than in competition. This follows in the wake of the Imperial Aerospace Corporation signing deals to market alongside of GEM Aerospace and TPMI/EC. The corporations believe that this unified front is the future of all weapons sales, and have banded together in order to better compete with the behemoths that are already well established in the world.

Kampferian Weaponry S-25

Design History and Overview

For many years, the Grand Kampferian Army relied soley upon the Heckler and Koch MP-5 as its submachine gun. While the MP-5 was a great weapon, it had numerous problems that the Grand Kampferian Army believed could be easily addressed. As such, the Grand Kampferian Army commisioned a team of scientists from the government owned Kampferian Weaponry to design the submachine gun of the future

One issue of the MP-5 was that it had a muzzle velocity of only 270 meters per second, which lead to the very short range of only 200 meters. While this range was ideal for special operations, it's other uses in the army believed this to be far too short. For example, the rocketers of the Grand Kampferian Army carried the MP-5 in addition to their SMAW. This presented issues, as while it gave them a good gun in close quarters, someone with a gun that had a range of over 200 meters could easily take them out.

The last major issue that the team was to address was the small capacity magazine of the MP-5. The design team was commisioned to design a larger capacity magazine that was still as light and accesible as the MP-5's original magazine. With all this in hand, the design team set out to "modernize" the MP-5.

Overall Design

There are many things to the KW S-25 that make it unique. However, it is best to delve into the common features first. The barrel of the S-25 is threaded, which allows for many different attachments. The most popular of these are the sound and flash suppressor, both of which come packaged with the gun. The suppressors, while unneccssary for a grunt in the army, come in extremely handy on special operations missions.

The rifle is of bullpup design, meaning that the magazine and action are located behind the trigger. This unifies the accuracy and firepower of the traditional assault rifle with the compact size of the submachine gun. For a nation such as Kampfers, it is also important to have the bullpup design as the common Assault Rifle used in Kampfers is also of the bullpup variety.

The gun is extremely durable, yet still retains its exceptionally light weight. The gun is not prone to having the barrel overheat or jam, and is an engineering marvel in that it despite its weight, recoil is not a major issue. This is due more to the location of its weight than the weight itself. With the weight concetrated at specific points, the S-25 experiences low recoil despite the light weight. To reduce what the shooter feels, the S-25's cushion has a pad on top made of memory foam, which conforms to fit the shooter's profile, easing any kick-back he might feel.

The fire selector located on the side of the S-25 allows the user to select one of four fire modes: SAFE, SINGLE, BURST, or AUTO. It is easily in reach of the shooter when he has his hand on the trigger, and can be switched without hassle. If preferred, the fire selector can be manufactured on the other side of the rifle for a left handed shooter.

The iron sights of the S-25 are among the best in the world. The red is clearly distinguishable from the backdrop in both daytime and at night, and allows for quick aiming on the target. The red gives an added benefit, as the mind automatically distinguishes red as "enemy", allowing the soldier to haver faster reflexes. This is thanks to the many generations of computer games where one's crosshairs would turn red if you moved them over an enemy. As such, their mind has been trained to see the red and fire, which adds to the soldiers already good reflex capacity.

The magazine is the typical magazine seen these days, however it is slightly larger. This has increased its capacity to 45 rounds rather than the typical 15-30. If size is a concern for a specific mission, magazines can be swapped a normal size of 15-30, but this is rather rare. The magazine can withstand a physical beating, as was neccessary when designing it. It can be dropped on the ground, droppend in a pond, even stepped on and still be fireable. Magazines must be purchased from Kampferian Weaponry however (included) as they are specially designed for the specific cartrige used.

Cartridge

The MP-5 used the 9x19 mm pistol round. Through many tests, it was determined that this would be inadequate to fire at a high velocity. As such, they began testing oddly shaped cartridges and were suprised by their results. With a 9x24yeah mm round housed in a necked down 10x24mm case, they were able to acheive muzzle velocities of around 600 m/s. As a 9 mm round, it retained the same width as the previous round, but it simultaneously increased its range and lethality by immensly boosting the muzzle velocity.

In all, there are three common rounds. The first is the Extreme Penetrator Round (EPR), which was designed soley for the purpose of defeating armies who believed in dressing their soldier in the best battle armour possible. The tungsten tipped round rips through just about every known battlesuit with ease from a long distance. This round is only lightly used, but can be used more heavily if the Grand Kampferian Army is matched against a known battle armour wearing foe.

Hoewever, when fighting mass groups of gun weilding civilians, penetration is not as neccessary as expansion. The second bullet was designed with this in mind. It is known as the Maximum Lethality Round, or the MLR, and is designed with lethality in mind as opposed to penetration. If this round comes in contact with a person, it can rip an exit hole greater than 5x the size of its entry hole.

The final and most common round is the Minor Penetrating Expansion Round, or the MPER. This round, similar to the Doomani Armor Piercing Fragmenting Jacket, can penetrate the averages soldiers armour, but begins to expand upon hitting soft material, most oftentimes flesh. This allows a great combination of expansion and penetration, enough so that its lethality against the common soldier is one of the best in production for a submachine gun.

Kampferian Motorworks 180 Bestrafener mk II

History

The KM 180 Bestrafener was borne out of a time of nead. Systems such as the Pzh-2000 were just not cutting it for the Kampferian military. As such, they contracted Kampferian Weaponry subsidary Kampferian Motorworks to build them a better self propelled artillery. The result was the KM 180, but after numerous years of service, the results were just not up to par. The world had changed, and the KM 180 needed to change with it. As such, Kampferian Motorworks got to work on a new version of the 180, changing many items from the original.

The first item changed by the designers was the primary armament. The original KM 180 packed a 155mm gun, but it was simply to small for todays generation of heavily fortified positions. The designers tested a number of calibers, ranging from 175mm all the way to 245mm. Their results were clear, and showed that the 210mm cannon provided the most bang for it's buck. They were able to sustain a maximum rate of 3 rounds per minute, a very good rate for a caliber that size. By adding a new autoloader, they also removed the maximum number of crew members necessary by one. This was not a major change, but it had immedeate impacts in the testings. The new autoloader very much contributed to helping the KM 180 acheive its substantiel rate of fire. The only drawback to the bigger gun was a loss of range, but the loss was not great enough to discourage the developers from using it.

The other major change they made to the KM 180 was they changed its suspension from a torsion wedge to an 8x8. This allowed them to put in a much smaller engine, shave off numerous tons, and increase the top speeds. The wheels are perhaps even more mobile than the original suspension, allowing the KM 180 to go more places. The only drawback to this was the likliehood of blowing out a tire, but the risk is low, and the problem easily fixed.

KM 131 Beschützer

History

For many years, the Grand Kampferian Army relied upon the M998 HMMWV as its multipurpose wheeled vehicle. As time went on, it became obvious that the HMMWV did not have the neccessary firepower nor horsepower to be well suited to the battles of today. As such, the government owned firm of Kampferian Motorworks was contracted to produce a multipurpose vehicle of the future.

Their end result was the KM 131 Beschützer. It can function as a cargo/troop/armament carrier, or as an ambulance. It is a mainstay in the Grand Kampferian Army, as it easily moves troops into and out of hotzones while providing adequate firepower.

To solve the issue of limited horsepower, the designers at Kampferian Motorworks took the easy route. They installed a turbocharger on the V8 engine, and also added a few more air intakes to boost the horsepower. By gaining more horsepower, the Beschützer is now able to climb steeper slopes. It also has gained the ability to accelerate faster, which can be the difference between life and death when evacuating soldiers from a hotzone.

To solve the problem of the meager armament, the designers left the main gun, which can be switched for heavier weaponry if neccessary, but they added two gun ports on the sides, as well as one machine gun in the back. The designers originally toyed with the idea of having machine guns in the sides that are electronically controlled by buttons on the steering wheel, allowing the driver to press them when insurgents flood the road in front of him. They quickly realized that this was incredibly over complex, and pretty much worthless as they had proved to have no accurate deployment. Instead, the designers added in two side gun ports, where the soldiers being transported could fire out from. The top mounted gun still requires a gunner to expose his uper body, like on the original HMMWV. The back gun is contolled by a rear gunner, also partially exposed, although less so than the top gunner.

All totaled, the Beschützer is a much more effective way of fighting the battles of today than the outdated HMMWV.

The Prestonian Armed Forces had long searched for what they could consider the "perfect" rifle. However, none had met their expectations fully. Desperate for a solution, they contacted Republic Defense Industries in 2009 with a simple request: create an assault rifle to define the military. Within 16 months, and with the help of the Odinian military, this dream was realized. The E19 Series combined all the best elements of several weapons, and introduced some of it's own. The rifle is expected to serve proudly in the Prestonian and Odinian militaries for several years to come.

Technical
The E19 Series Assault Rifles combine the best aspects of the AK47, HK416, and FN SCAR-L. It has the modularity of the SCAR, the reliability of the AK, and the look and feel of the HK416. The rifle operates on a gas-operated, rotating bolt mechanism, making it highly resistant to dirt and fouling. In tests, the prototype was put through 20,362 rounds without a failure. The E19A4 comes with a quick-change barrel system, available in 14 inches (seen in the first picture), 16.5 inches, or 20 inches (for use as designated marksman rifle or light support weapon). Also included is an adjustable position stock, allowing for soldiers of different sizes.

The Prestonian High Command had long recognized that the old 5.56x45mm NATO round was simply too small to do significant damage in these days of Dragonskin armor and high-tech battlesuits. On a similar token, the 7.62mm rounds were found to be too inaccurate in sustained full-auto fire. The compromise was achieved in the 6.7x53mm Doomani round, widely regarded to be the world's best. The round was set in copper jacketing and given steel tips for advanced armor piercing capabilities. The steel tip is further reinforced by a lead core. This round has demonstrated an average ability to penetrate Dragonskin armor, penetrating fully or partially in 6 out of 10 attempts.

After the disastours loss of the Vetakan Defence Force 2rd Naval Battlegroup during the Vetakan-Clandonian War the Vetakan Research Cabel which consisted of the Vetakan Defence Force, Pearce Weapons Inc, The University of New Theeb, The University of New Helgan and most recently the Wagdog University of Tailville DR identified that the Vetakan Naval Anti Shipping Capacity needed to be seriously upgraded and updated as a result the Vetakan Government secured Anti Shipping Weaponary from nations around the world such as the Preatonian built Lance and the Questarian Built Sovereign however in order to further develop Pearce Weapons Inc as a respected International Arms Manufacturer and Developer the Vetakan Government instructed Pearce Weapons Inc to design a Vetakan Built Anti Shipping Weapon that could be fired from both an Naval and Air Asset as a result Pearce Weapons Inc designed and tested the Fenix Class Anti Shipping Missile it was the intent that the Fenix would become the primary Anti Shipping Missile within the Vetakan Naval Defence Force within a period of 5 Years.

Test Firing:

A number of tests where carried out both within a bench test enviroment and within a battlefield enviroment the most notable test took place within the Bay of Light just south of New Theeb the Vetakan Defence Force successfully sank 4 ships using a total of 5 Fenix Class Missiles. The Ships that where used within in the test where 2 Decomissioned Ships these where an aging Iowa Class Battleship and a recently decomissioned VDF Interceptor Class Destroyer. The Vetakan Defence Force Naval Ship (VDFNS) Dauntless a Dauntless Class Heavy Battleship fired 3 NLM Fenix Class Missile at a distance of 250 kilometers South of the Target the missile test was successful with the Iowa sinking some 16 Minutes after the launch. At the same time at a distance of 75 Kilometers North of the Target a Vetakan Defence Force FA-15 Cardinal GEM Aerospace Fighter fired 2 ALM Fenix Missiles at the Destroyer its test was successful and the Destroyer sunk within 9 Minutes.

The Surface launched NLM Fenix is larger than its smaller ALM sister the NLM contains 2 Pearce Weapons Inc solid Rocket Booster Systems these Boosters provide the initial power to physically launch the weapon from the firing mechanism on the the Ship and accelerate the missile to its supercruise speed and volecity once it reaches this maximum and optimum speed the Solid Rocket Boosters drop away allowing the second phase of the weapon to activate this being a single Pearce Weapons Inc liquid rocket fuelled Booster this liquid booster continues to propel the weapon to its target. Once the missile comes within 30 Meters of the target the Missile rapidly injects all fuel into the Exhuast Compartment of the weapon and thus propeling the missile at very high kinetic volecity striking the target with maximum power.

Within the smaller Fenix ALM Air Launched Variant of the missile the missile is fired from its launch asset for example the FA-15V Areospace Cardinal the weapon fires away from the launch asset by a small Solid Rocket Fuel Pearce Weapons Inc Booster once the Missile has again reached its maximum speed and has acquired its Target the solid fuel booster drops away and 2 small Liquid Rocket Fuel Pearce Weapons Inc Boosters engage and propel the weapon to its target again once the missile reaches within 30 meters of its target again all remaining fuel is rapidly inserted into the Exhaust Compartment and again the missile is propeled at maximum kinetic volecity striking the target with maximum power thus improving the chances of a more destructive outcome.

Guidance and Taregeting System:

The Fenix Class Missile is provisonally guided to its target via a Pearce Weapons Inc GPS Tracking and Targetting System as the Fenix is locked on to its target the system locks the firing Co-ordinates using OBSAT GPS Prediction technology the weapon tries to predict the evasive course of its Naval Target as well as this technology the missiles GPS Targetting System is constantly updated from the launch asset be it ship, plane or the OBSAT System. The Fenix from the moment it is launched to the minute it hits the target recieves a constant stream of target and firing data the data takes into account all possible factors be they enviromental or man made thus the missile constanly makes course corrections to ensure maximum accuracy is achieved Pearce Weapons Inc defined accuracy as not just hitting the target ship but hitting the ships vital areas and systems.

Should the missile fall subject to GPS jamming technology it will continue on its last known GPS target co-ordinate and attempt to connect to the OBSAT Multi Purpose Guidance System if one is avaliable over the battlefield. As a full scale back up contingency protocal the missile will switch to its Infa Red (IR) Search and Destroy System and in conjunction with its last known target data stream will continue on to its target and hopefully hit the ship. As part of the launch assets target system the missile will be primarly be locked onto vital systems of the target vessel.

Protectional Defence and Countermeasure System:

Of the key problems identified during the Clandonian-Vetakan War and the various naval skirmishes undertaken by the Vetakan Naval Defence Force around the world it was found that having Anti Shipping Capacity was only part of the problem with the current state of the modern military force on the modern battlefield Anti-Missile Systems had become standard practice in any naval force as a result Pearce Weapons Inc had to build a missile that had a capable defence and countermeasure to ensure a Fenix Missile Attack was not lost to enemy countermeasures before they where able to hit their targets.

As a result the Fenix first of all contained its own Radar Jamming Capacity whether the missile operated this system during its flight was up to the launch asset a second defensive capacity was the fact that the Fenix in both variants was a highly maneuvrable missile with 360 Vector Thursters combined with its tracking sensor packagae the Fenix had the capacity to dodge inbound Anti Missile Missiles and CIWS Fire it and thus further increase the accuracy of the Fenix Missile.

Using OBSAT Defensive Technology the Fenix Class missile also contains the same Emergancy Evasive System as OBSAT Satellites thus allowing the sensors to more easily and quickly alter the course of the Fenix Missile and again increase the accuracy of the Fenix Missile. Under the Vetakan Defence Force Military Doctrine it was assumed that over any battlefield the VDF would have OBSAT Capacity as a result Pearce Weapons Inc designed the "Stone Co-ordination Attack System" (SCAS) which in co-ordination with the OBSAT System and the Firing Assets would actively co-ordinate Fenix Missiles to work together to maximise damage on a target for example Fenix 1 through 3 would engage enemy Anti Missile and CIWS Positions while Fenix 4 through 6 would attack and engage vital areas of the ship.

Warhead:

As the Fenix reaches its target it will be at a speed of around mach 3.5 and it will strike the target at around 3.6 this amount of kinetic energy will propel the Tungsten Bullet Warhead and hopefully penertrate the ships Armour if this is the case the Tungsten Bullet will seperate from the Missile and move through the ship causing further damage. Once the missile hits the explosive device will engage a 1 second countdown fuse ensuring that the explosion takes place within the ship itself causing destructive internal damage if the Tungsten Bullet fails to seperate then the explosion would turn the Tungsten Bullet into shrapnel causing yet more destructive internal damage.

Should the Fenix fail to penertrate the targets armour this is more relavant to Capital Ships and some Battleships then the device will register the hit co-ordinates and relay it to further incoming Fenix Missiles thus ensuring the same place can be hit twice so that maximum damage can be achieved with as few Fenix missiles as possible. Should the device fail to penertrate it will detonate as usual hopefully causing damage to Armour and minimal internal damage.

Above is the Ganguts old orignal 1911 specification. Below is a spec of the new Gangnut Class Battleship that Black Rain Munitions Incporated decided to implement. After research Black Rain Munitions Incporated decided to take the orginal Gangnut design and extensively modernize it. Using modern shipbuilding technologies and ideas. Black Rain Munitions Incporated brought this old design through history and turned it into a modern day surface combatant. Overview
Often refereed to by the yard boys as 'the floating VLS' the Sier Class is named In demonology, Seir, also known as Seire, Seere, or 'Sear, is a Prince of Hell with 26 legions of demons under his command. The Seir Class holds to its name, with many, many missiles under its command. The Sier Class began as Project 2501C in the Defence Analyses Research Project Agency (DARPA) as a request for a new Guided Missile cruiser to supplement the existing fleet and replace the ageing Ticondoraga Class Guided missile cruisers with a more modern platform.

Weaponry
There is a reason that the Yard Boys refer to the Sier Class as a 'floating VLS system' primarily because it is. The ship is very light on gunnery and bar six Combo 25mm CIWS, Roiling Airframe Missile Combo mounts the ship has no main guns or duel purpose weaponry but the ship is packed with three 10 by 12 VLS Launchers. Two fore, one Aft for a maximum of three hundred and sixty (360) Missile available for immediate launch with space for one Reload for a full compliment of Seven hundred and twenty (720) Missiles of either Ship to Surface, Ship to Air, or Ship to Ship. The vessel also comes with Eight 18 Cell 220mm Multiple Rocket System Pods which operate like MRLS system and can be fitted with medium Anti-Ship Missiles or Theatre range Surface to air Missiles.

Crew Quarters
The Ship is actually quite cramped and very Spartan with little to no luxuries and four crew members to a room bunked up and shared showers and head; privacy is not something one should expect outside of ones bunk. Its clear the ship was built for war and every aspect of its cramped living space extrudes this greatly.

History:

By the end of the 20th century, Labhekistan had emerged from a bloody civil war, united under a democratic government for the first time. With the emergence of Labhekistan as a world power, a new front-line main battle tank was needed to replace the aging, crippled fleet of Soviet tanks in the Army’s inventory. However, in the late nineties, Labhekistan’s economy was only starting to recover from the five years of bitter fighting which had brought many industries to a standstill. This new tank, manufactured by Labhekistan Design Bureau, would be known as the T-96. The T-96, while a capable enough machine, was developed on a shoestring budget, and lacked many of the sophisticated systems of its contemporary tanks in other nations. It lacked the advanced fire control and active protection systems which benefited the other tanks of that era. Thus, although the T-96 met the Army’s needs for a main battle tank, it proved to be woefully ineffective on the battlefields of the 21st century.

By the year 2015, the T-96 was an absolute relic. The wide proliferation of vastly superior tanks, such as the Sumerian MCA-7B Urbara Tirak, the Macabean Nakíl 1A2, and the Aequatian M20A1 Mackall, left the Army with a main battle tank that was simply unable to compete on the modern battlefield. Thus, a new main battle tank was needed once again. This time, however, the Labhekistani Army would benefit from more than a decade of combat experience, as well as the most advanced technologies in current development. Within the past decade, the population of Labhekistan had skyrocketed, and with that had also come a defense budget that had increased more than a hundredfold. On June 1, 2015, the Labhekistani Army Tank Replacement Program (LATRP) was initiated. More than a dozen designs were submitted by various contractors, each of which featured radical new advancements in defense and armaments technology. Out of the LATRP was born the M5A1 Stormcrow.

The M5A1 was truly an effective and deadly machine. The Army’s requirements for the design, including a newer, more powerful gun, and much more effective armor, were all met and exceeded. However, the M5A1 had one fatal flaw which became apparent during combat trials. The large gap between the turret and the glacis became a “shell trap”; an incoming shell would ricochet downward off the turret – directly into the crew section. Seeing this flaw, the Labhekistan Design Bureau began work on a modified version of the original design with an entirely reworked turret - the M5A2. The M5A2 used a hull that was essentially the same as the M2A1, but the turret was entirely redesigned. The “shell trap” was eliminated by sloping the armor of the turret nearly to the hull, preventing a possible ricochet. This new incarnation of the Stormcrow was now ready to take its place in the Labhekistan Armed Forces.

Overview:

The M5A2 was designed with two things in mind: firepower and survivability. Designers went to great lengths to create a tank which could provide heavy firepower, and upon sustaining damage, could be easily repaired in the field by the crew. Although enemy tanks were one of the main concerns to Labhekistan’s designers, it was also noted that in the 21st century tanks faced increasing threats from attack helicopters and low-flying aircraft. Early tanks, which lacked the weaponry and sophisticated fire control systems to engage aircraft, but a new tank would have to be able to counter this threat without compromising its ability to combat land vehicles. The M5A2, in addition to being well-suited to combat enemy tanks, is also a potent anti-aircraft platform.

With survivability in mind, designers incorporated many features which would allow the M5A2 to survive and excel on the modern battlefield. The tank’s armor comes in “modules”, which can be disconnected and replaced if damaged. The M5A2 also features Enhanced Durability and Manuevaerability Tracks (EDMTs), which are constructed out of high-strength materials to allow for maneuverability over almost any terrain. Along with the EDMTs, the M5A2 features a new, adjustable hydraulic suspension, which further enhances the tank’s effectiveness over a wide variety of terrain.

The M5A2 also features a new Avtomat United BD-6670 engine, which is set between the crew and the tank’s frontal armor, granting them additional protection. This also served to create an empty space near the rear of the tank, which can be used for additional storage. The BD-6670 is contained within a module (much like the armor), allowing it to be replaced with ease in the field, should it sustain damage.

Armament:

The original Rheinmetall L55 120 mm gun of the T-96 has been replaced by the much more effective Labhekistan Design Bureau E2 125 mm ETC gun. The gun, which used ETC technology, actually takes up less space than the original gun, because the liquid propellant tanks up less space than the solid propellant of a standard round. The muzzle energy of the L55 (7.5 MJ) has been almost tripled to 20 MJ, and the range increased to 5000 meters.

The M5A2 is armed with a wide variety of ammunition, but its main “punch” comes from the new TA-500 Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized Discarding Sabot Ramjet Assisted (APFSDSRA) round. The TA-500 is machined from high-density depleted uranium with a tungsten core for maximum penetration at long range. The TA-500 is just 60 centimeters long, but extends during flight to 85 centimeters. During flight, the TA-500 can achieve a velocity of more than 2000 m/s, which has proven to be uniformly lethal against a wide variety of armor. Finally, the TA-500 is assisted by a small ramjet engine which helps the round to maintain a consistent lethal velocity during flight, as well as boosting the overall range of the projectile. The ramjet does have some maneuvering capabilities, which can actually help to “steer” the round, making it more effective against moving targets at long range. Because of these features, the TA-500 has actually been compared to a kinetic “missile”, rather than a tank shell.

The M5A2 is also capable of firing a wide variety of ammunition, including the A-500B High Explosive Anti-Tank (HEAT) round, the A-500C Anti-Infantry Saboted Flechette (AISF) round, and the A-500D Tank-Fired Anti-Aircraft Missile (TFAAM), as well as smoke and illuminating rounds.

The barrel of the LDI E2 ETC gun is manufactured from high-strength steel, which has a longer survivability versus more traditional solid-propellant guns. The gun is fed by a “revolver” type system, which holds ten rounds in a rotating drum. The drum is armored to prevent premature detonation of the rounds; however, because HEAT rounds are rarely used and the liquid propellant is non-combustible, the threat of an ammunition cook-off is negligible. The drum is constantly fed by an advanced autoloader, which eliminates the need for a fourth crewman to load the gun.

The M5A2 is armed with several additional weapons. The first is a 12.7 mm machinegun mounted on the turret, which can be fired remotely or manually by the gunner when unbuttoned. Within the turret is also contained a 60 mm remotely-fired mortar, which has proven to be highly effective against enemy infantry. Finally, the M5A2 has 12 dischargers (six on either side of the turret), which can fired a wide variety of grenades, including smoke, aerosol, flares, and anti-infantry fragmentation. This system is controlled by the tank commander. The M5A2 is also able to mount two additional 7.65 mm machineguns; however, this is rarely done because of the additional space needed to store the ammunition.

Protection:

The main physical protection of the Stormcrow comes from two layers of highly advanced armor which is designed in small, modular sections to be easily replaced. The first layer; furthest from the hull, is a layer of an advanced Chobham derivative, known as Safeguard. Safeguard consists of extremely dense ceramic (a combination of boron carbide and synthetic diamond) tiles, contained within a hexagonal steel matrix. The ceramic tiles are held in constant compression by the steel matrix, which vastly improves their ability to disrupt kinetic penetrators. Between various layers of ceramic tiles are layers of a highly resistant resin combined with high-strength polymer fibers, which further boosts their stopping power. Backing the armor matrices are a layer of depleted uranium and a layer of steel, which acts as a “mirror”, reflecting the force up impact back into the ceramic tiles, dissipating the energy and preventing the ceramic from cracking. Safeguard is designed to act alone; however, it is coupled with a second layer to even further boost the protective capabilities of the Stromcrow’s armor.

The second layer of armor (closest to the hull) is a newly developed technology known as Electrically Reactive Armor (ELRA). Electrically Reactive Armor is designed with the principle that a very powerful electrical charge will full disrupt a conductive projectile, such as a tungsten penetrator or a molten-metal jet from a HEAT round. ELRA consists of two thin conductive layers, which are separated by an insulator. The inner shell acts as a ground, while the out shell contains an extremely powerful electric charge. When an incoming projectile penetrates the outer shell, a bridge is formed and the massively powerful charge runs through the projectile, either disrupting it, or vaporizing it entirely. The layer of ELRA acts as a final line of defense, proving to be highly effective against a wide variety of ammunition.

The Stormcrow, in addition to its armor, comes with the latest in active protection systems, of both the hard and soft-kill varieties. The soft-kill system, known as Vanguard, is based around an electro-optical jammer, which is located near the main gun. Vanguard detects an incoming missile using a very precise laser detection system, and then activates the pulsed-infrared jammer, which is designed to “blind” an incoming anti-tank missile. The Vanguard system also includes twelve aerosol launchers located around the turret, which can deploy a “screen” which further masks the tank from incoming missiles.

Coupled with the Vanguard system is a hard-kill system known as Tower. Tower uses a millimeter-wavelength Doppler radar mounted within the turret to detect an incoming projectile, such an anti-tank guided missile, shaped charge, or rocket propelled grenade. Once a projectile is detected, an explosive interceptor is launched. The interceptor is designed to explode in close proximity to the target, destroying it or disrupting its flight path. Only the blast effect of the explosive is used, there is no fragmentation because the interceptor is created from combustible materials. Because there is little danger from fragmentation, infantry are able to operate in close proximity to the Stormcrow, most often a necessity in modern warfare.

Any components which are damaged or rendered inoperable in a situation not resulting from combat or training may be returned for replacement, free of charge. Due to the dangers associated with modern combat training, Labhekistan Defense Industries cannot extend the warranty to damages sustained during training.

Tampering with the M5A2 Stormcrow by replacing or modifying components without the permission of Labhekistan Defense Industries is permitted; however, doing so will void the warranty. Labhekistan Defense Industries recognizes that many situations may arise on the battlefield which could necessitate the modification of military hardware to better suit the needs of a given situation, but due to the unreliability of battlefield modification or “jury-rigging”, Labhekistan Defense Industries cannot extend the warranty to cover modified vehicles.

Background:
Following the production of the massive Indomitable, it became apparent that she, like all other battleships, would require air support if she was to be effective. While the Prestonian Navy was by no means lacking in carriers, the ones they had were form various sources and of varying quality. Clearly, this was unacceptable. As a result, the tried-and-true St. Andrews Ironworks was given a new commission: design a fleet carrier capable of being produced en masse to bring the air component of the Navy up to speed. The shipyard accepted and production began at a rapid pace, with the first of 20 planned vessels to be delivered in 2012. As this vessel was to be exported to any UFAN nations who wished to purchase her, it was appropriately named Federation Class.

Technical:
The Federation Class CVN was planned from the start to be among the largest of her breed ever to sail the high seas. However, the final product amazed even her designers. At 1,764ft. long and displacing 420,000 tons, she was four times the size of the Nimitz class. She was capable of carrying well over 200 aircraft within her massive hangars, and had eight elevators and four steam catapults to get them all off in a timely manner. To staff this behemoth, 14,000 men, air compliment included, were needed. This vessel was to be a floating city in every sense of the word.

Powerplant:
It has been said among Prestonian sailors that without the best equipment, a vessel is nothing but a block of steel. This adage was taken into account when deciding what powerplant would be present in the vessel. The carrier had always been envisioned as nuclear, but the question remained as to what type of reactor it should use. After much deliberation, the revolutionary new "pebblebed" design was chosen. The PN-110 reactor produced to fill the requirement was capable of producing 536 MW of power. This gave the vessel enormous speed, capable of cruising at 30kts. As an emergency measure, three smokestacks were installed to perform blowouts of areas in case of contamination.

Electronics:
The Federation Class was planned from the very beginning to utilize all the state-of-the-art technology she could get her hands on. To accomplish this, the best and brightest civilian contractors from Prestonia were conscripted to make her a floating computer. Software and technology giant Microtech Systems provided the computers as well as their new prototype radar, the Mk. 25 Sentry. This RADAR, affectionately nicknamed "The Penis" by the sailors due to it's phallic appearance, has a maximum range of 250km in air and on the sea. With this ability, enemy vessels and aircraft can be quickly and effectively targeted and eliminated. Underwater, passive SONAR allows Federation to track any enemy submarines without them knowing they're being watched. And, as the icing on the cake, SatCom Incorporated integrated their satellite radio system into the vessel. The vessel in UFAN configuration uses OBSAT frequencies which enable it to communicate to any friendly ships in-theater. The export version features the same radio, capable of being configured to similar satellite networks. No longer would the Prestonian Navy need to worry about jamming or storms inhibiting their communications.

History:
For many years, the Visby Class Corvette served, and did so admirably, in the Kampferian Navy. However, as time progressed, it became apparent that the systems on the Visby and the missiles it was designed to carry were no longer current with the world’s standards. As such, the Kampferian Government turned to long time contractors Kampferian Weaponry for a new product. At the time, Kampferian Weaponry did not have a naval division, so this lead to the creation of the Kampferian Nautical A. After a year of labor, the result was back, in the form of the “Schweigsame Nacht,” or “Silent Night.”

Purpose:
The K19 was designed with a multi-faceted role in mind. First, it was designed to conduct anti-aircraft warfare. Secondly, the K19 was designed to combat larger ships at range, either through VLS missiles or through mines it had laid. Finally, the K19 was designed to combat submarines and counter the potential danger they pose. But above all, the K19 was designed with the ultimate in stealth in mind. The K19 is designed to minimize all signatures: optical and infrared, above-water acoustic and hydro-acoustic signature, underwater electrical potential and magnetic signature, pressure signature, radar cross section and actively emitted signals. With the latest technology equipped, the K19 can remain invisible to enemies for an extremely long interception range before counter-detection is even possible, although it remains hard even in the counter-detection zone.

Main Armament:
The main armament of the K19 is its 20 VLS missiles, 10 of which are designated as Surface to Air Missiles (SAMs) and 20 of which are designated as Anti-Shipping Missiles (AShMs). It is through these missiles that the K19 achieves its main goals. With these missiles, the K19 is enabled to discreetly engage its enemies from afar. These missiles are hidden on the hull by specially designed hatches, and are fully integrated into the stealth features of the ship. The SAMs are fully integrated into the aft of the hull, whereas the AShMs are fully integrated in the fore. Also integrated into the hull structure of the K19 is a stealth cupola that houses the 65mm General Purpose Gun.

Secondary Armament:
The K19 has many tricks up its sleeves for those lucky enough to survive its main armament. For starters, it houses 4 400mm torpedo tubes. Any torpedoes that fit can be fired, and Kampfers relies on a variety of types. As such, special torpedoes need not be designed for the K19. Also on the K19 is an array of mine rails. With the stealth advantage factored in, a small pack of K19’s could quietly slip in behind a fleet and lay a good number of mines in the shipping lane they had just passed through, where crippled ships would return to wait for the rest of the fleet after the battle and where the fleet would return through if defeated. These ships would be caught unaware by the fresh minefield, and devastating losses would be felt by the retreating foes. Also contained on the K19 are numerous decoy dispensers. If ever detected, the K19 can make use of these decoys to escape safely, regroup, and regain its stealth advantage.

Stealth Features:
The K19 features many specialties that aid the ship in the field of stealth. For one, the hull is built from sandwich construction carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP). The material provides not only high strength and rigidity, low weight, good shock resistance, a low radar signature and a low magnetic signature. The material dramatically reduces the structural weight, which results in a higher payload carrying capability, higher speed, and longer range. As there is no steel in the hull, the magnetic signature is also extremely low for a vessel of this size. The hull is fully non-magnetic and the same applies to all onboard equipment. Just as the hull is built out of a special material, it also has a unique design. The hull is designed on stealth principles with large flat angled surfaces. Every feature that need not necessarily be located outside the hull has been built in or concealed under specially designed hatches. For example, the gas turbine exhausts have been concealed in hidden outlets close to the water surface at the stern of the vessel. The extremely flat, outward-sloping CFRP hull results in controlled and favorable reflection of radar waves, as seen in Figure 1.

When you combine all these stealth features, you have an end result of a ship with the largest “Stealth Advantage Zone” in history. The “Stealth Advantage Zone” is the area where other ships, planes, and submarines can not detect the K19 but it can detect them. This is shown admirably in Figure 2.

The outer reaches of the K19’s weapon ranges are not covered by the sensors of the K19, but this is not an issue in the end, as the sheer size of the area where the range is covered and the K19 is undetectable covers for any flaws in the sensors. With such an advantage in detection and stealth, one effectively negates the stealth benefits of feared fighters such as the TF-70 Shukusei and easily gains an advantage over other feared but non stealth fighters such as the FA-15 Cardinal. The helicopter compliment is stowed away in a hanger while not in use, as to not disturb the sanctity of the stealth.

Propulsion:
The K19 relies on 2 waterjets for propulsion. These are quieter and have a smaller signature than propellers, and add to the overall stealth of the K19. At low speeds, these waterjets are powered by 2 KNW “Schildkröte” diesel engines which produce 2,800 kW combined. At higher speeds, the waterjets are propelled by 4 KNW “Hase” which have a total rating of 18,000 kW.

Overview
In Demonology; the Danu Asura is a water goddess of great power; which sees its routes in Hinduism. This battleship does her name well; as a great power of the sea able to project power anywhere in the world in hours notice thanks to its onboard nuclear reactor and slug it out with heavy combat ships thanks to its impressive gun systems and heavy armour. Though technically it should be classified as a BBGN due to its carrying of guided missiles the design board felt that the ship was more gun centric than what a BBGN should be so it was classified as a BBN instead.

Armour:
The Armour is triple layered re-enforced Structural Ballistic Steel with Rolled RHA; supports; with space steel/RHA honeycomb and aramide lining for anti spall. The Belt: 12-16 Inches tapered from bow to stern with the heaviest of armour around the reactor for protection; the magazine uses individually armoured cells and firewalls to prevent ammunition cookoff. The deck is Deck is 6 Inches of ballistic steel and can withstand flack, and iron bombs as well as counter fire; the Bulkheads 10-12 Inches and spaced for maximum defence against torpedoes. The turrets are 12-14 Inches of Steel and RHA with 10 Inch Barbettes the towers are 13 Inches of steel. The rear of the boat is 8 inches-12 Inches of ballistic steel and RHA with 3 Inches of steel armour plating on the VLS cells; each Cell is independently armoured and fireweed


Weapons
The main weapon of the Danu Asura is undoubtedly its primary battery of big guns; nine 18 inch Electro-thermal-chemical guns over three turrets firing ramjet assisted shells that can reach speeds of five times the speed of sound. The secondary batteries are eighteen 12-inch Electro-thermal-chemical guns over four turrets; with twenty four 6 inch rapid-fire duel purpose Electro thermal chemical guns. Ammunition of both the secondary and primary batteries consists of Ramjet assisted solid SABOT Penitrators for anti-ship and anti-coastal bunker operations; High explosive airburst and cluster rounds for both anti-light surface combatant and surface bombardment with 1200 rounds of each. Tertiary batteries include two 40mm High Explosive DU heavy 8 barrelled auto-cannons for dedicated air defence; and twelve 25mm tandem CIWS/RAM Combination mounts for self defence against incoming projectiles.

The primary Missile battery consists of two 10 cell by 10 cell VLS systems; capable of firing Ship to surface, ship to ship or ship to air missiles with up to 3 reloads depending on missile length for a total of 600 missiles in the primary battery. The secondary battery is four 4 by 2 VLS systems for ship to surface, ship to ship or ship to air capable missiles with up to 6 reloads using a rotary loading system for an additional 192 missiles at maximum capacity

Crew Quarters
Like on most Animarnian designed ship's crew quarters are fairly cramped and Spartan with four sailors to a room and one should not expect privacy outside ones bunk with shared showers and head facilities. OOC: After much discussion, I have decided to continue selling the K19. Any plagarism from Dartia's design is non-evident, and only one paragraph remotely resembles anything in the sources I used, that being the stealth paragraph. It is hard to word the definition for a certain type of construction material differently. Dartia is not fully in support of this move, but I would prefer that he refrain from posting in this thread. I am attempting to be civil about this, but it is extremely frustrating. Overview
As the states need to project power with alliance commitments grew ever more it started to outgrow the Royal Navy's main ability to project it in sufficient numbers to break defences without uses a large combined arms fleet ranging in the hundreds of ships. DARPA initiated the Nexus Project; to build a carrier capable of supporting a very large air wing for the purposes of land bombardment of multiple targets from one carrier vehicle.

The Nexus is the Carrier equivalent of the Super dreadnoughts that roam the oceans from various nations with a positively gigantic capacity of 700 tactical sized aircraft and 50 helicopters or vertical take off units gives the carrier and unprecedented carrying capability perhaps even the largest in the world. Able to hold up to 20 full squadrons of fighters, though in all but the extreme conditions the Nexus would only carry around 520 tactical aircraft and munitions and generally relies on other smaller fleet carriers to cover it while it launches its air wing into battle.

Weaponry
For Self-defence the Nexus carries 30 VLS cells over two 10 by 3 launchers; and ten 25mm CIWS/RAM Combo Mounts. As well as Eight crewed 12.7mm Big Fifty guns to repel boarding craft but over all weaponry is light after the Nexus's entire main weapon is its air wing.

Carrier Capacity
As mentioned earlier the Nexus has a gigantic capacity for 700 aircraft via 10 Elevators with five per side of the main hull each 45 meters long by 40 meters wide with a lift capacity 58,000kg each. These industrial elevators making the Nexus able to launch and recover Medium range strategic bombers as well as fighter aircraft though naturally this decreases the aircraft capacity overall. Aircraft are launched via 10 Electromagnetic Catapults grouped into pairs and recovered via 10 Arresting wires.

Fenix Class Anti Shipping Missile

After the disastours loss of the Vetakan Defence Force 2rd Naval Battlegroup during the Vetakan-Clandonian War the Vetakan Research Cabel which consisted of the Vetakan Defence Force, Pearce Weapons Inc, The University of New Theeb, The University of New Helgan and most recently the Wagdog University of Tailville DR identified that the Vetakan Naval Anti Shipping Capacity needed to be seriously upgraded and updated as a result the Vetakan Government secured Anti Shipping Weaponary from nations around the world such as the Preatonian built Lance and the Questarian Built Sovereign however in order to further develop Pearce Weapons Inc as a respected International Arms Manufacturer and Developer the Vetakan Government instructed Pearce Weapons Inc to design a Vetakan Built Anti Shipping Weapon that could be fired from both an Naval and Air Asset as a result Pearce Weapons Inc designed and tested the Fenix Class Anti Shipping Missile it was the intent that the Fenix would become the primary Anti Shipping Missile within the Vetakan Naval Defence Force within a period of 5 Years.

Test Firing:

A number of tests where carried out both within a bench test enviroment and within a battlefield enviroment the most notable test took place within the Bay of Light just south of New Theeb the Vetakan Defence Force successfully sank 4 ships using a total of 5 Fenix Class Missiles. The Ships that where used within in the test where 2 Decomissioned Ships these where an aging Iowa Class Battleship and a recently decomissioned VDF Interceptor Class Destroyer. The Vetakan Defence Force Naval Ship (VDFNS) Dauntless a Dauntless Class Heavy Battleship fired 3 NLM Fenix Class Missile at a distance of 250 kilometers South of the Target the missile test was successful with the Iowa sinking some 16 Minutes after the launch. At the same time at a distance of 75 Kilometers North of the Target a Vetakan Defence Force FA-15 Cardinal GEM Aerospace Fighter fired 2 ALM Fenix Missiles at the Destroyer its test was successful and the Destroyer sunk within 9 Minutes.


Propulsion Systems:

The Surface launched NLM Fenix is larger than its smaller ALM sister the NLM contains 2 Pearce Weapons Inc solid Rocket Booster Systems these Boosters provide the initial power to physically launch the weapon from the firing mechanism on the the Ship and accelerate the missile to its supercruise speed and volecity once it reaches this maximum and optimum speed the Solid Rocket Boosters drop away allowing the second phase of the weapon to activate this being a single Pearce Weapons Inc liquid rocket fuelled Booster this liquid booster continues to propel the weapon to its target. Once the missile comes within 30 Meters of the target the Missile rapidly injects all fuel into the Exhuast Compartment of the weapon and thus propeling the missile at very high kinetic volecity striking the target with maximum power.

Within the smaller Fenix ALM Air Launched Variant of the missile the missile is fired from its launch asset for example the FA-15V Areospace Cardinal the weapon fires away from the launch asset by a small Solid Rocket Fuel Pearce Weapons Inc Booster once the Missile has again reached its maximum speed and has acquired its Target the solid fuel booster drops away and 2 small Liquid Rocket Fuel Pearce Weapons Inc Boosters engage and propel the weapon to its target again once the missile reaches within 30 meters of its target again all remaining fuel is rapidly inserted into the Exhaust Compartment and again the missile is propeled at maximum kinetic volecity striking the target with maximum power thus improving the chances of a more destructive outcome.

Guidance and Taregeting System:

The Fenix Class Missile is provisonally guided to its target via a Pearce Weapons Inc GPS Tracking and Targetting System as the Fenix is locked on to its target the system locks the firing Co-ordinates using OBSAT GPS Prediction technology the weapon tries to predict the evasive course of its Naval Target as well as this technology the missiles GPS Targetting System is constantly updated from the launch asset be it ship, plane or the OBSAT System. The Fenix from the moment it is launched to the minute it hits the target recieves a constant stream of target and firing data the data takes into account all possible factors be they enviromental or man made thus the missile constanly makes course corrections to ensure maximum accuracy is achieved Pearce Weapons Inc defined accuracy as not just hitting the target ship but hitting the ships vital areas and systems.

Should the missile fall subject to GPS jamming technology it will continue on its last known GPS target co-ordinate and attempt to connect to the OBSAT Multi Purpose Guidance System if one is avaliable over the battlefield. As a full scale back up contingency protocal the missile will switch to its Infa Red (IR) Search and Destroy System and in conjunction with its last known target data stream will continue on to its target and hopefully hit the ship. As part of the launch assets target system the missile will be primarly be locked onto vital systems of the target vessel.

Protectional Defence and Countermeasure System:

Of the key problems identified during the Clandonian-Vetakan War and the various naval skirmishes undertaken by the Vetakan Naval Defence Force around the world it was found that having Anti Shipping Capacity was only part of the problem with the current state of the modern military force on the modern battlefield Anti-Missile Systems had become standard practice in any naval force as a result Pearce Weapons Inc had to build a missile that had a capable defence and countermeasure to ensure a Fenix Missile Attack was not lost to enemy countermeasures before they where able to hit their targets.

As a result the Fenix first of all contained its own Radar Jamming Capacity whether the missile operated this system during its flight was up to the launch asset a second defensive capacity was the fact that the Fenix in both variants was a highly maneuvrable missile with 360 Vector Thursters combined with its tracking sensor packagae the Fenix had the capacity to dodge inbound Anti Missile Missiles and CIWS Fire it and thus further increase the accuracy of the Fenix Missile.

Using OBSAT Defensive Technology the Fenix Class missile also contains the same Emergancy Evasive System as OBSAT Satellites thus allowing the sensors to more easily and quickly alter the course of the Fenix Missile and again increase the accuracy of the Fenix Missile. Under the Vetakan Defence Force Military Doctrine it was assumed that over any battlefield the VDF would have OBSAT Capacity as a result Pearce Weapons Inc designed the "Stone Co-ordination Attack System" (SCAS) which in co-ordination with the OBSAT System and the Firing Assets would actively co-ordinate Fenix Missiles to work together to maximise damage on a target for example Fenix 1 through 3 would engage enemy Anti Missile and CIWS Positions while Fenix 4 through 6 would attack and engage vital areas of the ship.

Warhead:

As the Fenix reaches its target it will be at a speed of around mach 3.5 and it will strike the target at around 3.6 this amount of kinetic energy will propel the Tungsten Bullet Warhead and hopefully penertrate the ships Armour if this is the case the Tungsten Bullet will seperate from the Missile and move through the ship causing further damage. Once the missile hits the explosive device will engage a 1 second countdown fuse ensuring that the explosion takes place within the ship itself causing destructive internal damage if the Tungsten Bullet fails to seperate then the explosion would turn the Tungsten Bullet into shrapnel causing yet more destructive internal damage.

Should the Fenix fail to penertrate the targets armour this is more relavant to Capital Ships and some Battleships then the device will register the hit co-ordinates and relay it to further incoming Fenix Missiles thus ensuring the same place can be hit twice so that maximum damage can be achieved with as few Fenix missiles as possible. Should the device fail to penertrate it will detonate as usual hopefully causing damage to Armour and minimal internal damage.
