I. History
The Kingdom of Orzio was founded after a long period of hardship, war, and servitude. The area encompassed by the Kingdom had once been a single republic, but was conquered by a powerful neighbor. This period is known as the Oppressed Time. After several hundred years being a conquered nation, the bonds of slavery were finally loosened some. However, the people felt they deserved more, and started a long rebellion against their overlords, who in the end felt that it was not worth it to stick around. But the damage was done because, due to the meddling of their conquerors, the people did not trust one another. The once proud people split into different groups, and founded several independent regions that constantly feuded with one another over resources, land, or perceived political slights. This way of life continued for several hundred years more, until The War. How it started has been lost to history, but some believe that it started by arguing over land rights. At first, it was just like other wars between the regions, but it escalated until it consumed the whole area. The damage was like none that had happened before. Millions died in horrific attacks, millions more were left visibly scared and homeless. The land was devastated. When the end finally came, it was more due to exhaustion of people and resources rather than actual peace or one side victorious. A few brave leaders had emerged though, and worked to put together the regions into a harmonious group again. Their efforts led to the Kingdom of Orzio, named after a mythical king in Orzi history.

Terrain: Varied. Along the western border runs a long mountain chain. There are two other ranges located in Orzio. The land itself is mostly flat or small rolling hills. The Orz River divides north and south Orzio.
Climate: Temperate.
Natural Resources: Iron, Copper, Silver, Gold, Silicon, Cobalt, Nickel, natural gas, some lumber, fisheries, small amounts of oil (all domestic), & Uranium.
