The door into the Empresses throne room burst open suddenly. A small man came running towards the Empress tripping over himself. He came up and whispered in her ear. She dropped her XBox controller and looked straight ahead. This was not a good thing at all.

Baikov Corporation Headquarters, New Eden

Sasha Baikov was bored. Incredibly bored. His 'good friend', Aleksey, had managed to escape to go to a Human Rights Conference. Bah.
Sasha himself was attending a ceremony tomorrow, but that seemed so far away-
He was drawn out of his contemplations by a synthetic beep as the door to his chambers contracted and opened. A young man quickly bolted through. Sasha sighed.
"What do you want now, Vladmimir?" Sasha regarded his companion with some disdain, as his appearance was usually followed by some beaurocratic procedure.
"Director, we just received word that a nation named 'Cazelia', has encountered......extra-terrestials." Sasha had made the mistake of continueing to drink his red wine, as it now sprayed onto the carpet, leaving stains like blood spots.

Sasha finished reading the message aloud that he had just dispatched to the Cazelian Government. He was already halfway there when he had sent it. They would not be refused. Even if it meant war.

The President Jack Kreiger of the Imperial Union of Japan and Korea was sitting in his office playing his new game Gears of War 2039. As he reloaded under cover and took out a few Guard the door of his office flew open. His aid ran threw the door and shouted 'Sir, Sir look outside' Just as he said this the office went pitch black. 'Sir are your still there?' his aid asked. 'Yes now get that bloody light on Jenkins'. The aid did so just as Security burst threw the door. 'Sir you have got to see the news'. The one aid went over to the telly and turned over to JKN news.

On screen was the sight of a huge Spaceship over neighbouring country Cazelia. 'What the hell is that a new kind of weapon?' asked the President. 'No Sir that is a genuine Space Craft. Its Extra Terrestrial Sir' his bodyguard answered. ;Get Cazelia on the line I want a meeting with him within the hour'.

As it came to their attention, a well-oiled machine clicked into gear...

0800hrs - Barronian Air Service Base Compendiensis West

"Fuel lines detached!"
"Engines prepped!"
"Personnel: clear!"
"Pushback in 3...2...1..."

This scene was happening across the airbase as countless fighters, transports, and refuellers prepared and taxied to the runway. Average waiting time on the tarmac - 45 minutes.

0830hrs - Barronian Ground Service Facility Parthenon North

"Get me some info on that ship - I want OBSAT on it now!"
"Sir, OBSAT's just gone offline. No response from our orbiting stations either."
"Damnit...alright. Prep the Phoenix's for launch. I want them post-atmospheric within 24 hours."
"Yes sir."

1050hrs - Port in Barronian-controlled Cazelia

"I need the 1st Armored over there, 34th Mechanized down here...and where is my coffee!"

The port was bulging with Barronian Naval Transport Auxiliaries, moving armor and men to the shore. This "invasion" of sorts was being met with caution, and in the only way Barronia knew how - by getting ready to fire any ammunition possible at it.

News reached Barronia fast from Cazelia - the Council for Defence and Warfare had been keeping close watch on that particular nation.

Greal fighters took off to invesitgate the new "ships"coming from outer space, a few Greal satelites got destoryed after acdiently crashing onto the alien ships.
"I have a bad feeling somthing will happen."said a general.

Hausilous and Colonel McBride stood together in the empty temple-like sitting area of the Citadel of the Consulate of the Toori, both reading the same newsbrief that read: "Nations Stunned At Arrival of ET Spacecraft Over Cazelia!" Hausilous couldn't help but chuckle. "Where in the blazes of Char do they think I come from?!"
