A Nuclear detonation of that sort should collapse most bunkers, these Tunnels shouldn't be a problem for it.

What is eventually going to happen, is you guy's will probably have to deploy your special forces team into the Tunnel's and go to the lab in a sort of Aliens-esque theme.

No, There isnt time to blow up a bomb like that before it detonates, this thing hits the ground in less then 4 seconds after it is released, tell me, what do you have that can A)Find it B)Target it and C)Destroy it, in less then four seconds? Sorry mate, that only works with ICBM's and missiles.
Maybe the system's can take out the plane?
Just an Idea.
Remember, the Lab can withstand a Nuclear strike.

Another Thing, Maybe we don't want the thread to last longer, I certainly don't want zombie's crossing anywhere near my borders, this is eliminating a threat, I've dealt with outbreaks before, infact I have an entire branch of my military devoted to it, The bombs where dropped, if it Failed (Extremely unlikely, and my call to make) then I drop another.

Your post was a bit...'cheap.' You can't destroy his bomb. You should say that you hit it. It is up to him to decide the fate of it.
