Dr. George Thread sat at a desk in his office building. He was shuffling through papers when he came upon a document that was at least three years old. It was a contract to assassinate the Anvorbuodan governor. He had once been part of a terrorist organization that had cells in more than 70 countries and headquartered, allegedly, in Sel Appa. It had been active for a time before disappearing from existence around May 2000 and then resurfacing, as if nothing was wrong just months later. It had continued operating without pulling any jobs for five years before vanishing again. No one had heard from Lead Phoenix in almost two years.
George sat back while reading the contract and remembered his days as a soldier in the group, eventually rising to the rank of Captain and running his own local cell. Without warning, Lead Phoenix apparently went defunct. It's leader, Vizier Mark Alexander was allegedly killed in a gunbattle. George wondered, Maybe I could get it all back together and run a more mercenary organization...
