A great thread like this was posted some time ago by Southeastasia, so credit to him. I figure that a few new characters have been introduced to us since 2005 though, so it would be a good time to take stock of our surroundings once more!

So - there's a bizarre space-time disruption effect that tears a hole through the quantum fabric of the subspace thingamajig, and sees you hurled from the world of normality and straight into the bizarre universe of NationStates. You could bump into any character from any nation here - how would you react? What would you say to them? What would you *do* to them...? What would you think? Would you shake their hand? Slap their face? Kick their gonads? Fluffle their sexy bod? Run away very, very quickly? What?!

well anything of chronosia's I'd probably run away, because most of them are horribly mutated by the chaos gods.

I agree. Chronoisa = Disfigurement + horrible, painful death.

Oh, I'd like to meet BL, just so I can discuss the best way to take out terrorists and the like.

And also, it'd be fun to see the faces on the UC when I annoy them. It just isn't the same over the internet.

I'd throw things at them from a helicopter so they can't get me.

if i saw LS, i'd accuse him of being my clone, as the character is basically an idealized cersion of myself.

I would have little choice but to chastise them for being unoriginal.

And then I'd tell them that I'm their master, since I made them up.

Well, if I were to meet any of my characters, then I think we'd have a lot in common. Almost every single character I've created is either an extremely exaggerated version of one of my personal character quirks, a hyper-exaggerated version of my personality as a whole, or a twisted version of one of my quirks.

Now, physically I'd probably freak out, because meeting any of my characters would be amazing. Then I'd see what they were like in the lulls between their missions or other appearances, since I only really thought that out for one or two characters.

Given that 95% of my nation's leaders are brutal, coldhearted bastards, I'd probably run.

If I met some of my NS characters I'd run away FAST. Most of them range from crazy to insane, except for a few who are mostly deer in the headlights to the freight train that is NS politics.

There's Atal Amner, who's like Hitler, but not as smart and slightly harmless....
There's Alexander Kathii, who would probably sell the rights to my organs after I died....
And Elizabeth Firenza.... O__O well, she might be fun to hang with, in a morbid sort of "hey, I design things that are intended to wipe out all life in a star system, here's my card- :D" way.... and her daughter is hot

Well, if I was to meet Vladimir Gorlokovich, leader of my former nation, i'd give him a pat on the back and buy him a Vodka considering I based him on my Communist-Authoritarian ideals.

But if I was to run into Sasha Baikov, i'd probably run the Hell away before he called for me to be executed for having blonde hair.

Not everytime, I've done so in the past, take your time to dig through Jolt and then you can find them. But back to the point of this topic, since I was the original creator.

I've already met most of my characters, since I've largely based them off both RL leaders and people I know. For example, Neo is based off myself, and leaders like John F. Kennedy, Tony Blair, and the like. He's an Asian politician with Western education.

It depends, at different times I've been evil and good. If it's my current incarnation, evil, I'd run and hope they didn't catch me, torture me to death, and then impale my mutilated corpse. If it was my good version... I'd probably become their evil leader.

Hmm, it depends on whether they realize they're NS characters we've made, and meet us as their creators, or think of themselves as real and we just fel into the world.


None of my characters is based on myself and almost no on real persons (at least famous), though some have references to well-known fictional ones, e.g. it's pretty clear who Paul Neumann, modified Interpol agent, is based on.

Either way, I'd do something that lets me to get out of my nation for most of the time, so in "I fell into the fiction" case would take the place of Aerospace Logistics high-rank executive. If I could turn into my character, that'd be the aforementioned Paul.

If I remember correctly, it is because his NS Nation is a union of the RL nations of Southeast Asia, but he couldn't get the usertitle on NS because it was already taken (thus he settled for Southeastasia).

If I met the Griffincrest family, I would probably see if there were any executive spots opening up.
