Brasland

The news spread quickly accross the world: The young King George of Brasland was looking for a new wife.
When his late consort, née Princess Constantina of Magnus Valerius, died in childbirth, the world watched a devastated King walking behind his wife's coffin, holding his one-year-old daughter in his arms. George was in his mid-twenties, and the Queen's death was a terribly painful event for this. Now, months later, the King had realized that he needed a consort to provide new heirs for the House of Balkronn, the dynasty that have ruled Brasland since the XVIIIth century. With this purpose, he invited Queen Shodan of Zero-One and her daughter, the beautiful and extremely intelligent Princess Nisehime, who were now in the Palace with their host.
The Braslandian media, usually respectful and discreet about the lifes of its royals, made an exception this time, covering Nisehime's arrival extensively, and putting papparazzis outside the Royal Palace, to take any possible shot of the (according to them) Queen-to-be of Brasland. Unfortunately for them, they could only take a few pictures, but this was enough to have the Princess in every front cover of every magazine and newspaper of the realm. Soon, the news was not only of national interest. The Ixnayan media published it too, and quickly it spread to other regions, making other dynasties interested in providing a suitable consort for the Sovereign of Brasland. Meanwhile, King George is quietly chatting with his guests, not even knowing the interest that this meeting has caused in the NationStates world.
