Alright, here is the IC thread you all having been asking for, but of course this is closed to only people involved with the Galactic Spheres thread.

The Deputy Marshal in charge of K-01, the first communications post and the largest of all one hundred and seventy eight of them, was having a rather busy day. A Premier Order had come to him early this morning, telling him-nay, ordering him-to send out an official dispatch to the Kashian Empire, a nation full of slaves.

While the practice of slavery was cruel and inhumane, the need for allies in an era of war was crucial. And so the Premier, acting on the advice of the Party, drafted the message that had just been sent to the Empire.

In a most troubled era of war and hate, it is imperative that like minded and strong nations bond together for the good of both nations.

Frankly, our nation is still building up our Space Navy. However, if your intergalactic empire and mine were to join together, we could offer each other aid, mutual protection, and free trade that would greatly help both our nations.

The Deputy Marshal hit the button that would send the message to the Empire. And then he returned to his stateroom, where he loosened his tie and opened a bottle of vodka. No doubt he would be sending a lot more messages in the coming days, and he wanted as much free time as he could get before that happened.

The metallic marching of thousands of cyborg drones could be heard as they marched across the vacant city of a once prosperous human civilization. The humans of this world had already been overwhelmed by the superior tactics and technology of the cyborgs. The human resistance in this world like hundreds of thousands of others were exterminated in several months of occupation and Incorporation. The humans were rounded up and put into camps and day and night were taken in groups of hundreds to be “Incorporated,” The process was fast paced and brutally efficient as human mothers were torn from their children and forced towards the factories.


The marching cyborgs in their metallic armor and weapons surveyed their conquest and promptly began Cyberforming the planet. The planet would be stripped of natural materials and would be populated with metallic structures that would serve as housing barracks for the millions of drones that would occupy this world. The atmosphere would become toxic once the Factories switched their purpose from Incorporation to production of weapons and parts.

This world a nameless world was one of many that had fallen to the Cybernetic Union of Xharn. The Cyborg Drones were continuing their expansion to exterminate the “Great Enemy.” It was only a matter of time before these humans were marching under the drum of the Almighty Patron, The undisputed leader of the Union…….



The sky above this world was covered with massive warships designed for the sole purpose of war and expansion. These ships were at the moment busy trying to hunt down refugee vessels that were trying to evade the advancing Cyborg troops on the ground. The refugees had only one place to go and that was to the Ramio Empire in the northern sector, and they were being followed by a very determined predator. The recon taskforces were sent from their main fleets to hunt and look for new worlds as the Union keeps expanding….

He knew these orders would ask something that would be damned near impossible because from what he had learned during the Suppression Wars that the higher up your orders came from, it would be harder to complete them. As he Finsihed reading, the top of the file started self-deleting. That's Strange. He though. Only Classified information does that. Better get us started then. He informed the Bridge officers that they would be undertaking on a mission to seek out non-human life forms and that the recent upgrades had included a new expermental Slipspacedrive that could move a hundred times faster than the standard ones.

spaceThe UNSC Arabia moved itself out system before jumping to harvest syetm, and jumping to a new location 2100 lightyears away. The Arabia entered the system ten days later, and found a a habitable planet with several ships in orbit....

Himp is a busy planet. A colony world in the further reachs of the Xiscapian Empire, it is a world that all manner of traders, hunters, miners, warriors, civiliians and soldiers come though. Currently in orbit was the Space Station Shield, as well as two large civilian transports bound for the Inner Planets, a ore hauler, and three military ships. Two Cruisers and a Destroyer hung in orbit, ready to protect the world. There were more ships on the ground, ready to be called up at a moments notice. The Arabia's presence was noticed the moment in jumped in space. Almost immediatly about 100 drone fighters surronded it. The Shield's guns came online and the warships turned their broadsides toward the ship. The following message was sent to the ship from the Shield:
Unknown Ship, state your orgin and reason for your presence here. If you do not respond within ninety seconds, you will be fired upon. This is your only warning.

Captains Room, Julii Heavy Cruiser Indomitable

Grand Caesar Octavian (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=4kxt2c1) looked out the window of the Julii flagship Indomitable (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=4zdzwj4) at the beautiful blue and red planet below him. The home of the Julii, as it had been for hundreds of generations. He was the first of his race to embark on a military campaign in hundreds of years. The Julii expanded through economic means dominating three of there neighbors without there notice, at a word he could cause there planets to fall into chaos by simply cutting off all supplies into the systems. Now he knew the time was right to search for new conquests. The Julii armies were eager for it. Word had spread since his rise to power that they would move to seize the planet Hekel Prime, a population rich, military power in the system just outside there own. With the help of there three puppet planets the Julii would use there allies first, to weaken both them and the mighty Hekel fleets. Then the Julii force would make landings on the planet. Octavian sighed and turned around to sit in his chair. On the table in front of him was a tactical report of the enemy they would face.

"1,400 ships." He said to himself. The Julii worked in a diffrent manner on ships than other races, they were awsomely armed rather than numerous and relied on mutual support over single encounters with the enemy. The Julii fleet humbered a mere 900 vessels, including 400 heavy fighters (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=4pt9f0z) and some 400 allied vessels. The battle ahead would serve his means. After air superiority was won the Julii trump card would be played, some 80 million troops would land on the planet, led by the ever known Hastati (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=6c6802v) with there fearsome forearm blades and acid coated spines they would face the enemy and crush him.

High Orbit Over Hekel Prime

Octavian looked at the holographic battle being carried out below. The allied vessels had faired slightly better than he thought, and yet they were pathetic. "Pathetic!" He said slamming his fist down. "Our allies are being torn apart! Its as if they arent even trying!" He spat. Over 200 of the allied vessels had been destroyed or disabled.

"Sir, I bring bad news." An ensign said holding the comm to his ear. "The Hekel 3rd Fleet has just hit the Borkin flank, there fleet is trapped!"

The Grand Caesar looked down at the simulation below, one of the allied fleets was indeed trapped against the enemy, in a matter of minutes it would be destroyed. He looked in ever growing hatred as his other allies streamed over to assist them falling into the carefully laid Hekel trap. He ground his teeth. "Wait for the order." He managed calmly. In the end this served his designs, his allies would be much easier to, persuade, if there fleets were hunks of metal in space. The allied vessels were eaten and tore apart by the Hekel heavy batteries and missle stations. The Julii had yet to engage the enemy, they were waiting for the right moment to decloak the fleet and jump on there enemy. After an extremly tense quarter of an hour the guns stopped firing. The Julii fleet still remained hidden as the Hekel forces moved in and claimed thousands of prisioners and hundreds of thousands of tons of otherwise useful scrap metals. Octavian smiled and sat in his command chair. "Decloak the fleet and open fire." He said now calm.

"Yes sir!" The ensign said tapping several buttons on the console. The entire Julii fleet began to declaok, it was an awsome spectacle, a hundred vessels simply appearing out of nowhere. The guns began to fire immediatly, thousands of rounds spat out towards the enemy fighters as they moved to engage the new enemy. The Julii, unlike most races, still used projectile weapons, containing energy of course. They formed a cloud of flak that took there enemy by surprise, the bright red and silvers of the Julii armada gave a very imposing look at death. As the heavy batteries began to fire the heavy fighters of the Julii moved out to engage the enemy. The 400 vessels each carried Dual Psionic Phase Cannons and a slowly rechanging battery of 18 'Ceberus' missles good against both fighters and enemy capital ships. "Its working!" The ensign said excited, the enemy had been taken by surprise and already dozens of there vessels were exploding in a fantastic light show.

"Tell the transports to be ready to move on my command." The Grand Caesar said simply. Of course it was working, the defences of Hekel may be many, but they couldnt stand against superior tactics and firepower. He predicted that in an hour the battle would be wither a descive victory making the land invasion that much easier, or so utterly devastating to the enemy that they would surrender to him. He personally hoped for the second.

Surface Of Hekel Prime

The battle in the air had been won. Also, much to the delight of the Grand Caesar, they had not surrendered. Now the hundreds of transports unloaded the dreaded front line troops of the Julii, after fifty million were unloaded they would be followed by the second line troops, the Principes (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=52p3sid). Should this massive force be beaten back by some act of god the Triarii (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=4mi1atv) would move in and clean up the mess. The total invasion force totalled some 80 million including the 10 million Auxilla (http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=6hfuky1) that would garrison the planet after its surrender. No real resistance was expected, but it was known that at least several hundred thousand would take up arms. Octavian predicted full integration in a single year. By then the Empire would have enough power to make sure it was kept safe and secure from any enemy. All that remained now was to 'presuade' his allies to join the Julii, 'In the name of mutual protection.'

Emperor Flavious had recieved a report. Several strange looking men with the faces of Eagles had appeared in the city plaza. Outside he could hear people running about confused by there appearance. Casualties had been fairly minimal and worthwhile, 100 000 for the entire campaign. No Julii ship had been destroyed and the conquest was clean and quick. Ten million Julii soldiers now garrisioned the planet setting up the defence network and calling in Julii builders to repair any damage the invasion had caused. The Julii war machine was fine tuning itself. The experience the military had gaioned would prove invaluable to later campaigns. Now the Grand Caesar knew his allies would easily accept the "Mutually Assured Protection" of the Julii. As of now his fleet was moving to "Offer" Julii protection from any enemy. The only planet that he would have trouble gaining total control of was Nicabor, but it would succumb after the others. Now he was impatient, he wanted to expand faster. He sent out a lone scout vessel unmanned armed with nohing but speed and its cloak. One was dispatched towards the far rim of the galaxy wher ehe had heard of a powerful race that called themselves the Shakal after reading the Hekel database. He would await there reaction with great interest.

Captain Thoma slept in his room aboard the SIN Denial. The patrol was so boring so far that not even one of his bedfriends could keep him entertained. He was genuinly shocked to hear the slight beep signaling a communication coming in from the bridge. "Speak." He said.

"Sir, we have detected unknown energy reading coming from a distance of about 3 million kilometers." The Commander said over the intercom. The Captain grumbled and got out of bed and got dressed. He walked to the bridge. He nodded addias with a simple nod.

"Any idea what these readings are coming from?" He asked sitting in his captains chair.

"Most likely something small sir, a probe or small scout craft." The commander said to him tapping some commands into the ship.

""Move to intercept." Thoma ordered. He was finally going to have some fun on this mission.

The pilotless scout sent the message back to the Julii that an unidentified vessel was closing in on them. Within a few minutes the Julii would have word of the contact. It then sent a message to the approaching vessel.

"Unidentified Vessel, this is Julii Probe Ap-928424 computer autocontrolled vessel. We mean no harm. In the name of the Grand Caesar the fondest of welcomes to you."

IC: The Tau Empire had been existing for thousands of year to this date, slowly colonizing and conquering, as well as adding races to the path of the Greater Good. Along their travels, they came across information, tidbits here, tidbits there, on an ancient and powerful race known as the Eternals, who had watched over the universe until a great war forced them to leave on day, leaving their duties to lesser nations. And right now, there was a power vaccum of sorts and the Tau Empire planned on making use of that vaccum. As such, they continued their probe launches throughout the universe, seeking to find new nations, new worlds....and new information on the Eternals and their technology.

The Tau were naturally curious and combined with their great skill for technology, were very interested in acquiring new tech, and as such, kept an eye, or to say probe, open for such. So it was when they came across Zeri, they realized they had found a goldmine, as information washed over the probes and the Skether'Qan escorts they sent, and they knew this had to be an Eternal world. They could find out what happened to the Eternals and possibly discover tech during the process. And so it was, that after two weeks of gathering ships and supplies, as well as soldiers in case they ran into resistance or another nation was there who refused to allow them to land, they headed for Zeri.

A fleet came into existence as the Tau ships exited the warp, broiling violet energy cascading outward from the tear in spacetime. A fleet of over 35 ships, 2 Battleships, 6 cruisers, as well as 27 escorts of different classes and types. This entire fleet, along with the troops and scientists in their hulls, were here to claim the planet as their own, and discover for themselves the technologies of the Eternals.

The shuttle flew back to the fleet, where all the blueprints were transmitted back to Xiscapia under the highest code. Aboard the ships engineers began to attempt to intergrate the tech with their own ships, though this may take a while. A transmission was sent out and another 46 ships were on their way to aide in defending the Isan outpost, as well as two cargo ships to set up automated defenses and mines around the area.

To note this is my offical ruling so you have to fight him off. The unoffical rule before you have the tech is a five real days before you have full access to the world's tech for your own.

After orders from the Empress were recieved Admirals Raedar,Donitz and Engels began to organize the fleet for the cmapaign. It would be the largest ever conducted by any Empire known of in this galaxy. Some 10 Billion men would be gathered as an army for the first Operation, along with some 1500 ships. This would form the Van of the crusade. If the Empress wanted her lands connected to those of the Goauld Kash, it would be so, and nothing would stop them.

A fleet suddenly jumped into existance near the astroid field. 40 of the ships (20 Cruisers, 10 Carriers, 5 Destroyers, 5 Battleships) took up a defensive perimiter around the area. 4 Medical ships moved to the astroid base for permission to dock. 2 Cargo ships began laying passive and automated defenses around the base. 100 thermo-nuclear mines, 50 defense satellites(with either laser turrets or missile launchers), 100 fighter-drones, and 25 force-field projectors. The cargo ships stayed in-system until all the defenses were online, then jumped back to a nearby Xiscapian colony. The smaller fleet already there took up point beyond the astroid field. 2 Cruisers, 2 Battleships, 1 Destroyer, and 1 Carrier.

The Grand Caesar sat aboard his ship. The Julii had performed much more admirably than even he could have ever thought. Now the news of the Empress of Shakal marrying this Kash made him sour. He was planning to do the exact same thing. Still worse was the news that the two Empires had sent thousands of ships to secure a corridor between eachother. He would try and convince the Shakal to let him assist them, then he could recieve some planets closest to Julii space. First, however, he needed to fight his way to Shakal borders. A fairly large task for an Empire of a mere 5 planets. Even as Octavian thought the fleet was massing some 300 ships plus 600 fighters to embark. Most where older ships of his former neighbors now incorperated into the Julii fleet. The campaign would go generally easy, the neighboring systems were disconnected with the exception of the Quekek Union, a smaller empire consisting of semi-iindependant systems allied for mutual defence. They commanded a fleet of some 2000 ships and hundreds of billions of troops. He would not be able to defeat them should they come to arms.

The Empress had not yet returned from her voyage to the realm of Kash but the fleet was still preparing for the crusade. The van was about to head out spearheading the entire thing destroying anything that resisted. The main bulk of the fleet was some 5000 vessels and an additional 8000 fighter craft. The troops going on campaign were massive in number, 200 billion troops would leave in the first year alone. The crusade was predicted to last 100 years by the Empires greatest analists and cause upwards of 10 trillion deaths on all sides, still it was the desire of the Empress.

Kash viewed a holographic screen, it showed his territory, along with his planets, Yellow dots represented his fleets, they moved ever closer to the Shakal space. After they reached the Shakal empire, they would double back and take any planets that were habital.

The Shakal van cruised forward. Three systems had fallen already, granted they were basically useless space it was still an advance. From here they began to hear of a mighty empire that possesed almost a hundred systems and hundreds upon hundreds of ships. Admiral Donitz smiled. He was leading the Van, and he would crush this little Empire with minimum losses, he would tear a path straight to there home planet and then take it. From there the occupation would begin. The Van was positioning itself for the quickest route to the Empire of Kash.

5 systems had fallen as the Goa'uld blitzkrieg moved on ward, so far there was little to no resistance.
