Announcing Kelos

Kelos is not your average nation. It is a poor and small third world country, that does not have a strong leader or a strong justice system. Most of its money is made from mass production of computer parts by large companies outsourcing their labor from other nations.

Truely Kelos is a no more then a slave labor nation, filled with poverty and violence. Warlords, drug cartels, slavery (sexual or labor), and even the most despiciable acts of abuse are common. Children are sold into slavery from an early age, then are either killed or sold as laborers once their bodies have become unsuitable for their masters. Feeding the workforce of companies that pay the equivolent of a dollar a day.

A place in which villians and serial killers from other nations are but small-fry, and wouldn't last a day in the hell-hole of Kelos. Amidst the pollution, poverty and desolation there exists gangs which steal weapons and carve their territory.

Amidst these squabbles of territory and control arose a great influx of pirates, modern day pirates of everything of material and ideological value. Children, guns, software, money, military hardware, sex and even human sacrifices all are cargo for the gangs and pirates; these products are cargo and have no value besides the cash they will get for selling them.

It did not take long for a dumping ground of computer and electrical parts to become a common sight to see in Kelos. Electrical garbage piles as high as skyscrapers into the sky, awaiting melting and remaking into newer products for the companies that own everything. From these dumping sites items of great value can be salvaged from the dumping grounds of many rich nations.

Computers were one such speciality. The very parts they produced in several years time were worthless to the original consumers, but for the poor it became a source of great wealth and interest. Internet piracy soon started and the weak government of Kelos did not have the time or the resources to prevent its own people from accessing their information and stealing information.

Thi information was used against companies large and small in blackmailing and later high profile scams to keep secrets under wraps. The gangs and criminals of Kelos became funded by fearful companies, and they only got stronger from there.

From the depths of the criminal underworld arose a powerful band of hackers, an 'Internet Hate Machine' that struck out with cruel precision on weak targets, stealing money, identity and any other information they could. They turned their victims lives upside down, feeding on the hatred of the rich in other countries.

So apparent was their power that the fearful government of Kelos under pressure from larger nations; cut their own communications outgoing from the nation.

The machine died. At least for a time, but cell phones and satellite dishes soon enabled the elite hackers to open connections and continue their work using defunct and useless outdated communication satellites to transmit their terror and hate. Now the Internet Hate Machine spurs its wheels once more, acting as insurgents and hackers for hire.

Cyberterrorism has arisen from Kelos once more.
