SIC:

Colonel John had been forced out of his office to meet political pressure from British Londinium, once they had done that and paid BL, BL was pleased with the leadership applauding the move. He had gone down to the airfield by night and took off in his Cessna Mustang N32AK.

He flew out at 1:00 in the morning, at 1:30 a Calizorinstani F/A-22 popped up on his radar, and he swore to himself, and the voice crackled on the radio "I am just here to escort you out of your territory and to make sure you don't come back Alpha Kilo." John gulped, his own government denied his existence, he was even now disowned by his father. "They will pay for that!" he thought angrily.

He headed towards VDB, he determined that if he couldn't make the airport, he could at least crash land and make it to VDB.

OOC: This is SIC, so only VDB and I know where he's headed...

The Vanek'ian International Airport was commanded by the authority of the Princes to let a certain Cessa Mustang N32AK land. The heir to the throne Ryan Getzlaf and his father, Prince Ryan Getzlaf Sr., were waiting for that Cessna to land.

SIC:

Col.John Arnold landed at Vanek'ian International Airport, with only 2 gallons of fuel to spare, and when he parked where Ryan Getzlaf and his son were waiting, he hopped out and said "I was intially going to be in fake exile as it were, but my father has publicly disowned me and said that I have no part in his inheritance. He said that he wants his government to be more aligned with the British Londinians, it was only a matter of time."

Senior swore. "Colonel John Arnold. A pleasure to meet you. I've heard a lot about you. Come, we've got an inconspicious car to take you to the Princial Palace, then we'll decide what to do from there." They started to walk toward a black Chevrolet Tahoe used for occasions just like this.

OOC: I just realized, this is the first time I've had an ATTN: VDB before. Sweet! Though this isn't the time.

Col.Arnold hopped in the black Chevy Tahoe and said sighing "I swear that I didn't intentionally disconnect that service module at the Londinian space station. I think what happened was an oxygen tank exploded and sparks burned away the link between the command module and the service module and the service module just seperated and impacted their space station."

Senior started to drive. Junior said, "Hmm. I don't remember it quite well. That could have been the case. Anyway, we've offered to pay off some of the money that's due."

Col.Arnold said "The Government's paid all the rest, my father still loves me, he didn't disown me he says in the text I got, he just wants to keep Calizorinstan safe from British Londininum, remember that nuking they did with North Calaveras?"

They both shivered. "I hate British Londinium," said Senior. "We've been insulting them for the past week, but there was no ground until the Dominion of Amazonian Beasts stepped in. Thank Goodness."

Junior: "Here we are." The Tahoe pulled into the front driveway. They started to walk up. In the shadows were members of the VDB equivalent of the SWAT team, looking for danger. "We've called an emergency meeting of the Four Princes, of which my dad is one. Also, I get to sit on it, and my cousins, sons of the Princes. You might like them." They walked inside. "We're going to the basement. Convenient, since it's a certified bomb shelter."

Col.Arnold said "My wife is coming here too to escape the now corrupt government. What will the 4 Princes be discussing?"

"Your wife's coming? Good. Anyway, they'll be discussing you. Basically, what to do with you. Besides giving you up. Here we are."

They walked into a room with 6 men and a woman sitting down. Ryan Jr. introduced the woman. "John, this is my younger sister by two years, Sammy. And here's a chair. These are the other Princes of the VDB and their sons. I believe you've met Prince Thomas Vanek. (TBCS)."

Getzlaf Sr. immediately quited the room. "So what are we going to do with Colonel John Arnold from our friends the nation of Calizoristan? He had to escape from the BL ( a round of hissing). Any suggestions?"

Col.Arnold was hardly there, he was physically there, but his mind wandered to the ill-fated Sirius 13 mission and he remembered a critical detail, He had thought that the oxygen tanks were not good quality and he tried to tell CNASA but they ignored him..

Ryan raised his hand.

"Yes, son?"

"Well, Dad, I think John and I should go to our property out in the cottage country. It's isolated, but we can keep in touch everyday."

They pulled up into the airfield and boarded his Boeing C-32.

John and Mary sat down in the front together and he said to Mary "Well if we're going to be outcasted from Calizorinstan, it's best to do it together eh?"

And, I believe it's like 7, so when we get to the cottage we'd better go to sleep.

John said "Yeah, I think I'll take a nap now." He fell asleep waiting for them to arrive at their destination.

Ingram smiled. His new V/A-12 would be at the cottage. He also told the ship to bring an extra two seater. Mary fell asleep next to John, leaning her head against his shoulder

Ryan woke up in his favorite bed, and walked downstairs to breakfast. He hugged the woman making pancakes. "Sam, I haven't seen you in so long."

Ingram and Mary heard something "what was that?" he said, taking out his colt 1911 pistol and walking out the door, before noticing a figure, as Mary came up from behind him, putting the pistol the the back of his head "freeze it, punk" she said, as Ingram walked over "Rykov?" what the hell are you doing here?"

Col.Arnold saw Rykov and said "I think the situation has changed since you last saw us, I went on a space mission that I nearly died!, I had a service module seperate and hit a Londinian Space Station, and when I got back, I was brutally forced to resign.." He showed some bruises, and said "I was forced into exile to satisfy those pigs that hail from British Londinium!" He spat that latter country's name out and said "I will begin broadcasting on the air as "The Rejected Prince."

"Fething A. Those bastards think they can really rule the fething world, huh. well maybe this will change your tune."

Rykov threw down some papers.

John let Rykov in, and he gave him some hot chocolate and said "It seems as though King Cargil has shut down the ICFS, is that true Ingram?"

"Simple enough. I'm on a spy mission for Duneria. I needed shelter and presto! There you guys are."

Um, sure Lord Sumguy, I've heard a lot about your RPs, and I'd love to see them. There's a runway w/ hangar on the cottage property we're on.

Basically, John's running away from the BL due to an incident with Sirius 13, a space shuttle. And then everyone started arriving.

OOC: good. I'm not so good with wars and such, but i do love character RP's.

IC: Lord Sumguy was sitting at his desk reading the paper, having just woke up. He had reached the end of the A section when he spotted a small article in the corner of the page. The headline read: Calizorinstani astronaut on the run, disowned by family.. He read the article with growing anger, and turned to his PC.

Perhaps I was wrong to forgive you Jack, you seem to have a habit of betraying those who trust you in order to save your skin. After he had written this, the Hegemon turned to a telephone on his desk. He picked it up and dialed a barracks of the Royal Guard assasination/espionage unit. A Lieutanant picked up on the other line.

"I want you to find a way to contact Col. John Arnold of the Calizorinstani Air Force. Find him, and protect him. You are to spare no expense, as not only is he a friend of mine, but there is something fishy going on in Calizorinstan and he may know what it is."

"Yes sir." was the response, and the call ended.

The Lieutenant turned back to the men with him, who were eagerly awaiting news. "No assasination." He said, and there was a collective groan from the gathered troops. "However, we will be going to search for a certain John Arnold, and protect him from any that would end his exile prematurely. If we are lucky, we might see a bit of action. Now let's get to work."

The barracks became a flurry of movement, as men hurried to work stations. Every file containing John Arnold's name was brought up, including transcripts of every conversation he had had witth Lord Sumguy during the Royal Tour. Every known place he had been in Calizorinstan was looked at, and his entire file was poured over, looking for some clue as to where he might be. Meanwhile, 155 Royal Guard began to change into plainclothes and head for the nearest airport. These were the men who would be the most effective in this mission, each knowing a multitude of languages and able to change accents at whim, they were the true eyes and ears of Lord Sumguy. They boarded a number of planes, all headed for either Calizorinstan or VDB.

OOC: let me know if anything in that post is unnaceptable and ill change it. John is in VDB now, right?

OOC: Yes. But this is all SIC, I'd like to know how you'd find him. He's in the middle of nowhere, except with satellite TV and superfast Internet.

OOC: a long and expensive search, of course. Certainly people saw him in passing and he left a trail of some sort. (sightings by citizens, purchases in his name, things like that.) I'm not going to be finding him until Cali want's me to though, as i can really only get the general area that he's in even if my men are really good at what they are doing. At this point LS isn't trying to find John so much as he's trying to let John know that the Royal Guard is looking for him.

At the cottage

"OK," said Ryan as he started to walk in what he thought was a general direction.

"Sgt. Alan Johnson of the Calizorinstan Marines, I'm on vacation. Say, have you heard about John Arnold's exile by any chance? It's all over the news back home. I hear even the Hegemon's getting involved, got some of his Royal Guard searching for Mr. Arnold in disguise." The man replied , looking around him as if to make sure there were no Sumguaians. "I doubt they'd be trying to kill him, as from what i can tell he and Lord Sumguy are pretty close friends. Bit of a waste to look for one man if you ask me." He continued as he drank.

OOC: at this point the RG are just trying to spread rumors about said search, as that would be the best chance of alerting Mr. Arnold without any complications that may arise from it being too publicly known.

"Wow," said the barman, already drunk. "Yah, it's been all over the news. Apparently, around midnight, a truck pulled up at the capital. And then it left. The next day, the news was all around the world."

John grabbed his M-16 and said "We need to set up a defensive perimeter around the cottage now!" He called up his 5 Calizorinstanian Special Operations bodyguards, and they grabbed their IMI Gailil's and ran outside and dug themselves in behind some bushes.

"Very good, thank you." The man said, handing over the stack of money to Donny. "I assure you that my intentions for the Col. are entirely friendly, so you needn't worry if you have done any harm to Mr. Arnold today. I suggest you use that money to get yourself some rehab for your apparent alchoholism. Good day to you sir."

The Sgt. stood up and walked out of the bar. He turned into a nearby alley and dialed a number on a disposable cell phone.

"I have a direction from the capitol for John Arnold. Southeast, and from what i can tell he was last seen travelling by car. I suggest immediate relocation of all agents in the northern and western portions of VDB. I will be exxiting the city within a few hours, and I request permission to use some of the money i possess to rent a car. Thank you sir, I will report my location again in exactly two hours."

He finished the call, threw the phone in a nearby trash can, and headed by bus to the city's airport, where there were sure to be car rental services.

Meanwhile, all across the nation, the other agents that were not speaking with civilians or travelling were spraypainting the logo of the Abrahamic League on buildings in nearly every city and town within VDB.

"That looks good." Corporal Hopkins said, standing back to admire the huge logo that he and another RG had spraypainted on the side of an apartment building. "This ought to get his attention." He looked through the window and took one last look at the cottage and smiled and said "I am not in exile anymore at least.."
