The Imperial Navy of Condure has never had the right vessels too defend their shores from foreign invaders that see the lands that condure stands upon as a treasure chest waiting to be raided, one of these foreigners were Payal who wanted to bring their treasure which was condure back into their occupational rule. At the end of the Payian/Condurian War the Imeprail Naval Administration started the department of Naval Defense Development ((NDD)). The NND's job was to design and development new means of defending condure by sea.

The NND has been operation for three years and have designed numerous ships but not all have been put too sea, one of these designs that have had the honour to grace the sea has been the Omega Class Battlecruiser, design only a year ago her class currently serves in active duty within the Imperial Navy Of Condure ((INC)). The are only two of her class afloat in the Imperial Navy at the moment.

Development:

The Omega Class Battlecruiser was developed by the Condurian NDD department to serve as condure's fist within the oceans, so that invaders of condurian waters would pay the price of such an act of war. The Omega was first primary designed to hold the line and protect the waters but never thought to be used as an offensive ship in which it has been developed into and now has the force to serve both priorities.

Being Given the right amount of fire power for both defense and offense the Omega is one of the most finest ships to have been put forward by the NDD and too this day a shining example of the great minds that condure has to offer.

Isn't 2000+ people on a battlecruiser a bit high? I mean, a CV has a crew of some five thousand, so you're almost half that. Perhaps I'm wrong but its just something I noticed...

EDIT: A Nimitz has a population of some 5600 men.

yea might be a tad bit high even if includes marines, 1890 would do i think ^^

The Battle Cruiser HMS Hood only had 1,418, The Battle Cruiser USS Guam 2,251 officers and enlisted, HMS Renown had 1,181 officers and enlisted

so its not to big on crew but I think it would be much less compared to WWII standards with almost everything being computer controled

OOC: That number includes marines, he could just have a large marine complement, which would help with fire control if nothing else

Bad beam... should be around 47 (make sure you increase displacement accordingly. In fact... you will then need to up your draught a metre or so to make sure you're not losing speed from being too fat...

otherwise... you seem to be improving, taking onboard the suggestions i've passed over to you at draftroom...

keep it up.

btw as a tip you might want to replace "essentially unlimited" range with "limited by supplies" which is basically the same thing but more technical.
