The Zhonghua Renguo Historical Society would like to collect information on the history of other nations. Please take the time to write down the histroy of your nation. In return, the ZRHS would like to share with all of you the history of the Empire of Zhonghua Renguo.

The EZR is a relatively small island off the coast of Mainland China that was founded around the same time as the Republic of China, also known as Taiwan. Though the nation of Taiwan was created by Chinese Nationalists, the Empire of Zhonghua Renguo was part of several hundred other organizations that also seceded from the Communist Regime of the PRC, though, not nearly as famous and for different reasons.

Since the founding of the EZR, there have been two rulings regimes. The first was Kai Fengli and his family. After the island that is now Zhonghua Renguo was settled, he established the Yuan Dynasty and declared himself Emperor of Zhonghua Renguo, colloquially called China or New China. His first 20 years were years of prosperity and serenity. However, he soon fell ill and his only son Kai Yang became emperor.

Emperor Kai Yang was a dictator in short. He oppressed the people, robbed them of all their money, and waged needless wars. However, his personality did not bring him any human happiness. He could never find a woman whom wanted to marry him so he never had children. He died without an heir in 1987.

Soon after, the Imperial Court broke into disarray and the former officials and generals of the Kai family fought for power. Among those was Grand General Wang Shilong, now the current emperor of Zhonghua Renguo.

Eventually, Wang Shilong managed to defeat all of his competitors. After the defeat of his greatest rival, Kung Yi, Wang Shilong believed himself to have the Mandate of Heaven, an ancient Chinese belief that whosoever triumphs over all odds and seeks to have the Imperial Throne should have it for the gods of Chinese religion deem it so and protect the seeker and his family.

In 1990, Wang Shilong at age 45 established the Chang Dynasty and delcared himself the new Emperor of Zhonghua Renguo. He has three sons two of which are married and have children as well.

On August 19, 2007, Emperor Wang began to experience a high fever and was rushed to the Imperial Hospital. He was diagnosed with a simple high fever. The day after, his eldest son Crown Prince Wang Shaoyun was declared the temporary emperor. Crown Prince Shaoyun's status as de facto emperor is pending on the recovery of his father.

The EZR has been involved in no foreign wars but has had 4 civil wars as of date.

The Grand Confederacy of Scaveutland Began with humble origins. As a small peninsula, Scaveutland Proper was hardly the great multi-star empire that it is today.
With the rise of the Kingdom of Scaveutland, came the conquering impetus. Beginning with the reign of Fredrick III, who led the conquest of the island chain, Kelonia, the young monarchy was able to flourish. With the new profits from fishing and sea trade, new areas were able to be conquered. But progress was still slow, it was 70 more years before the next conquest. With the ascendance of King Griffith the Great a new age of conquest began. First with the conquering of the mineral rich lands of Gavon. And then the fertile plains of Esabar twenty years later. The rise to power was inevitable.
Over the next 300 years the kings of Scaveutland led many successful campaigns to conquer lands neighboring, at first, Scaveutland Antiquita, then neighboring the provinces who were conquered by Scaveutland’s kings. But change would come to this land.
In the year 654 a.u. (after unification) the king, Abram XIV, set his sights on a small land, the Confederacy of Scavdinavia. Following a brutal war of attrition, the Scavdinavians surrendered to the much larger Scaveutii army. However, their mode of government intrigued the Scaveutii people enough that the monarchy was jeopardized by the new ideals of Confederacy. This was the beginning of the end for the monarchy.
After the death of king Abram XIV in the year 658 a.u. His son, Isaac IV, rose to the throne at a young age of 14; the mistake of placing a king on the throne with such little experience would cost the monarchy its rule. One year after Isaac’s rise to power, his advisors, the merchant princes, demanded that massive taxes were to be levied against the ‘common’ merchants, or those who were not of the monarchy. After only a few days, Isaac signed the “Articles of Ascendancy” to roars of outrage. Almost immediately revolts sprang up across the massive land. Far too many for the army, large though it was, to suppress the many revolts. The final result was Revolution, the Great Revolution as it was called spread, not from the outlying countryside, but from the capital itself, where thousands of, not only the merchant middle class, but also many of the regular army marched upon the palace of the king.
Despite the valiant efforts of the royal guard to protect the king, the guard was greatly outnumbered and the palace fell. Isaac was killed during the attack on the palace, not by the revolutionaries, but by the merchant princes, in a vain attempt to spare their own lives from the rebels, but, the princes were not spared from the flame and were massacred. Thus began the reign of the Confederacy of Scaveutland.
Despite the bloody fall of the monarchy of Scaveutland, the conquering impulse was not quenched. For the next 900 years, the conquering continued. Advances in technology made conquering easier. After 923 years, the planet was fully conquered. The only place left, was the stars.
In 500 years the entire system was colonized. From the floating platforms above the gas world of Ka’tel, to the Desert-like abodes of Reva. But this golden age would end with an extra-terrestrial wake up call.
In the year 2115 a.u. an enemy would come, one that would shake the very foundations of Scaveutii society. The Wanderjarian invasion of 2115 lasted for only one week, but during Wanderjar’s attack the entire defense system of Ka’tel and the entire fourth fleet of the Scaveutland Confederacy was destroyed. In response, the Scaveutii government sent out expeditions in order to colonize far reaching star systems, to prevent the crisis on Scaveutii survival to ever happen again. Upon the colonization of the second and all following star systems, the government of Scaveutland deemed to rename the Confederacy of Scaveutland to its new title, The Grand Confederacy of Scaveutland.
For now the prospects for the Grand Confederacy are pretty good, with new star systems to colonize, there is little on the horizon that could jeopardize Scaveutii survival.

The Darkstalker Empire.

The history of the Darkstalker Empire begins shortly after prehistoric times, the region was first settled by small nomadic tribes that found themselves comfortable in the region.
Shortly after establishing the first towns, they began exploring the seas close to the region and setting the base of a solid tradition of the Empire:navigation.
These people joined forces to repel barbarian attacks and also the ambitions of the nearby state city of Kaor.

They went into war with the Darkstalkers know at the the time as the Dragon Sackers (They used the Dragon as symbol and this title was given by the first Kaoran population that was attacked by them ).
But they were defeated, so they joined with other small tribes and waited to strike back.
This time under the leadership of the warlord Cesar Adolfus, they massed a trained army that destroyed the mighty Kaoran Armies.
The outcome was that the Kaoran Kingdom recognized the Darkstalkers as equal for some time (230 years)
During this time, the First Darkstalker Republic was created and arts and culture florished, making a stronger country.

The new Republic engaged war with some neighbours conquering vast areas of the continent until the Kaoran launched a massive strike against the Republic jealous of the hasty grow of its hated rival.

The Dark War lasted for more than 550 years, the outcome was almot anihilation of the Kaoran Kingdom, that was spared by the wise Senate leader Lothar Adler after the death of the republic leader Consul Caesar Plubio.
The long war left the republic in a shameful state where anarchy, poverty and diseaes ravaged the streets of the republic meanwhile the politicians lived like Kings.
This was followed for bitter years of civil war where almost evrybody was hailed as Caesar in every region of the Republic.
This lasted for 120 years until Caesar Kurt along with other revolutionaries and idealist seized power.
He refurbished the social structure and limiting the politicians power and influence setting the base for the Empire.
This actions saved the Darkstalker Culture and legacy and boosted its presence in the world.
Arts, trade and culture flourished again because of the freedoms that the Empire offered.
The Old Empire conquered new regions and gained new allies during that time.
Lasting for 1700 years until its partial fall because of the corruption and lazyness of the population and the foreign invasions of new enemies.

The government was settled in the former Kaoran Kingdom where it survived for 800 years (AD1421) where it slowly regained the lost territories from individual states and kingdoms.
Thanks to the survival of the Darkstalker Culture and Science a new age of discoveries flourished in this region that quickly spread to the recovered territories that boosted development and cimented the empire once more.

Specially bitter wars against the Giloi Muster Empire and the Hadrian Kingdom, for trade routes and colonies were the constant of these ages, and this wars ended 400 years later (aprox 1800 of our time ) even they were not fought in consecutive years.

During this age the Empire was reformed to a Republic by the General Edgar Dorough that improved trade and industry in the empire and also reforming the army.
Peace lasted for 130 years until a World War broke, the Imperial Dark Realms Federation was created, this countries fought against the Republican Coalition that was finally defeated after 25 years of war. ( a fragile truece lasted only 10 years )
This war boosted new technologies and discoveris that were vital to the reconstruction and future of the Imperial Dark Realms.
After the war the Imperial Dark Realms Federation ocuppied the vacant space left by the defeated enemies and followed a peaceful and productive age that last until this day and continues with the exploration and colonization of space.
Shortly before the war ended a new government change took place when a wide gap of the population supported by the military, scientists and culture supportes a paceful government change from Republic to the Empire, most of it being a quite simple change of name.
This was achived by cooperation, trust and mutual support from the members of the Federation.
Today the Darkstalker Empire is a safe and quite industrial nation.
Social and political estability are granted as well as investing and development.
The Darkstalker Empire is the head of the Imperial Dark Realms Federation.

Since circa 250 AD there has been a native tribe on the island which is now known as Uiri. They developed a system of trade and established a base unit from which the value of everything was calculated. It was called an Ret. It was a unit of measurement and not like coins or paper money we use today. They developed a tribal system and the value of everything the tribe had was calculated once per solar year. There was no private property only tribe owned property. At first there were many tribes on the land of what is now Uiri. Eventually, through marriage they emerged around five tribes and they defined there own territory and because of the size of the tribe breeded only with in themselves.

Then at around 1500-1600 a French boat trying to find the spanish south america sailed right aournd south america thinking it was the northen continent. This ship eventually spotted The Pacific Islands and landed on the coast of the Uir tribe. The Uir tribe had by then, established dominance over the other tribes. They called the foreigners Fran because there first statement was "Je parle Francais". They believed Francais to mean Fran to mean Foreign and -cais to mean royalty. They thought the foreigner said, "I am foreign royalty". When the foreigners asked what they place was called, the natives were just deciphering the first statement and said "Frani"; and so the territory became the French Colony of Frani. (It's my second country to show what it was like during French rule, with some exadgeration.)

So, the land of the tribe became a colony for around a century or two. That is when the peasants in main land france rebelled and the government of the colony was in distress. What would become of their king? The natives, sensing this, rebelled and drove away the french. The french language and customs became integrated into their society and so they developed the Arjet from the french word for money and silver, Argent.

The tribe struggled to find a system of government where they would choose how they were run. In the Republique de Uiri each citizen would vote from one of three options on what to do on any issue brought up by anyone. They couldn't force everyone to vote but jus as they were trying to solve this problem the English invaded.

The English were soon overthrown and the Uir (by now extended to mean all the natives) enforced a law to make everyone vote. This is how the country has been since around 1830. There haven't been any civil wars and the country has stayed within the Pacific Islands mostly, until the formation of the UN which they joined.

Well, the plains of Greater Roubus was originaly inhabited by a proto-Turkic culture only known as Kez (Labeled by our biased historians) but unfortunately, were suddenly misplaced by a wave of fleeing refugees of the Hunnic invasions. The new occupants were several Gallic tribes and a small horde of Sarmatians. One decade of wanton warfare and genocide (the Kez untimley demise) and a new social order sprang up: the Sarmatae or the Kez term Sar'ko tey (Thieving Bastards) became top-dog and the nobility of the land. The Gauls, or Luk became the fodder and the regular citizentry. As for the Kez, well thay have permanent job at the temples:D. However two new problems emerged: Arian Christianity, or Orthodox Christianity. This happened around the council of Nikea (orginization of the Roman "Orthodox" Christianity"). Missionaries from both sects (and a few Gnostics) came to bring the locals into the fold. Conflict arose, Which one is true? Why should we join? What if the Gods become angry?. The archaic Sarkoes(to insult the Kez, who had a few enclaves left) prefering the old ways of Paganism decided to become Arian and slaughtered any Luk'lu liked the "Meek shall inherit the Earth" ideal and revolted calling themselves theMaek'lu then the Schismatic War of 430 broke out.

The war ended 5 years later. There wasn't any real winner but the entire kingdom split into 7 City States: the Sarphoan, Emerial, Rohoubi, Quartzo, Onixe, Korchok, and the Kez Refuge. The Rohoubi, the weakest decided to survive by offering their sword to the other states. The Tribal leader, Crogus of Fyr wondered about the outside world, other peoples, other peoples' gold...
So he, and his warband of footmen (the other tribes rely on horsemen at the time) set off to the strange new land. After years of service the grandson of Crogus returned to the Shattered Motherland with his army The Infamous Ruby Company, consisting of Welsh, Lombards and Poles. This man's name was Jetterlas a half Welsh and half Roh, and he sought to claim the Throne.

Undershi used to only be made up of what is now Undershi Province. It, as well as The Republic of Northland, The Republic of Saint Rynald and the Republic of Paxton were colonies from a more advanced European-descent area on a new continent that was occupied largely by asians.

With their superior technology, these three states carved out their own spheres within the new continent, while the natives were forced back, except in the case of the Kingdom of Southland, which developed its own technology, and became an equal of the colonists.

In 1846, both Undershi and Northland declared their independence from their mother-lands. Northland had been settled by German protestants, Undershi by the English, and Saint Rynald by Italians.

In 1848, Undershi began admitting large numbers of immigrants from other nations than England - Germany, Austria-Hungary, Poland and Turkey were the source of most of these immigrants, although some Italians and Spaniards also immigrated. Undershi has never had a problem with racism - they accepted these new immigrants.

Over the course of the next few decades, Undershi, Northland, Southland, Saint Rynald and Paxton all industrialized.

When World War One came along, Undershi sided with the Entente powers, while Paxton, Saint Rynald and Northland remained neutral. Southland sided with the Central Powers, and was soundly beaten by the Undershi, who took territorial claims.

The corrupt Southland king was overthrown by pro-democracy rebels after the peace was signed, who proceeded to begin killing each other over the issue of communism versus capitalism.

When World War Two came along, Undershi sided with the Allies, while Northland, filled with pro-German sentiment, sided with the Axis. The war between Northland and Undershi was brutal and fierce - millions perished, but in the end, Northland and its industry was seized by the Undershi. The fighting began in 1940, and ended in 1944. The IIS and Occupation Police organizations were formed in 1942 and 1943 respectively.

After the war, the Undershis annexed Northland, forming the Undershi Empire. They then expanded into the Western Steppes.

In the 1960s, Undershi troops invaded Southland, and occupied it, acting against the Maoist communists who had triumphed in the civil war. Southland was annexed as Northland had been.

In the late 1990s, Undershi expanded further into the Western Steppe, before attacking the small independent nation of Jenshalem in 2000. Jenshalem was annexed, and Undershi now expanded to the western coast.

In 2002, Undershi invaded Saint Rynald and occupied it, something it went on to do to Paxton in 2003.

In addition to its expansionism, the Undershi people have been seized by an ideology - they believe that they must form a new species, to transcend human limitations.

As such, they practice extensive genetic engineering and research into mechanical augmentations. Just how far along they are in their work on the True Undershi race depends on whether I'm RPing MT or PMT.

Since the 1920s, the Undershi have systematically taken every child from its home at age six and sent them to a boarding school where they are indoctrinated, and, in the case of the True Undershis, the citizen elite of the Empire, trained to fight and to kill.

Burlovia is a northern, isolated nation, wich is located in Giberian
Continent. However, Burlovia is a part of Socialist Paradise region due
to political reasons. Burlovia´s northern border is the coast of Great
Northern Sea, while in east opens first a small mountain chain of Urgo
and behind that are numberless deserts. In south is a group of smaller,
feeble nations, which Burlovia has had a long war history. West is
mostly waste land, wich is declared de-militarized preserved area.
The first marks of settlement in Burlovia are from 600AD. The population
formed a small civilization, wich is known for bronze art and stone
temples. The population got it´s food from big rivers, fertile land
and by hunting some wild animals. Penguins living in the very
northern part of Burlovia were considered holy.
By 12th centrury Burlovia was a succesful monarchy, which had wars with
southern nations and some tribes in Urgo mountains. By 15th centrury
Burlovia had doubled her land area, but still suffered from a small
population. By 17th centrury country was breaking apart, and fell in
anarchy. The civil war started at 1709. The parties were the monarchists,
who consisted from the noble, priests and the land owners of the society,
and the libertarians, who consisted from the peasants. After 8 months of
fighting the libertarians were defeated and the remaining resistance
surrendered. The monarch gained more power and the leaders of the
resistance were executed.
After two hundred years in 1920 a new ideology raised amongst the
poor and weak population, communism. A new revolutionary movement was
born, and within two years of time the communists made a coup. The monarch
was executed and a new age began. The communists - against all
expectations - rebuilt the nation´s former glory and constructed roads,
factories and big farms. The retarded nation was turned to a modern
democracy in two decades, and conquered lands were returned after
500 years to their original owners. The time was concerned as a golden age.
The elections were first free, and the communists always were capable to
form the government by their own. However, by the 1950s communists started
to lose their support because of growing corruption in the party. Noting
this, some radical members of the party tried to make a coup in July 1958.
They failed, but after the communists lost the majority in the senate in
1961 election, another coup attempt was made. This time they succeeded,
and free elections were cancelled. Burlovia started to build a war
machinery and soon gained a big army. Burlovia made her first nuclear
test in december 2003, and currently informs to possess 21 nuclear war
heads, though specialists believe there to be more. Burlovia is now
technologically highly developed nation with strong economy, wich lacks in
civil and political freedoms. Her army of 1,2 million soldiers mostly
consists of super clones and the reserves are vast due to public military
service.

Mokastana started out as a large Caribbean Island, while much of the history before Alex Zapata's Unification is lost there is enough to asume what happened.

In about 1400 the island had 36 different warlords vying for control, it is believed Columbus had landed on Mokastana but there is not real evidence to back that up, but the rumors say that he landed when the Viraxia tribe was being overran and fled the island.
In 1689 British colonial forces landed and fought against the remaing warlords, which is assumed to be between 12 and 15 at that time. The British exterminated most of the warlords but three remaining ones had formed an Alliance, calling themselves "pale's terror" they ransacked and killed many colonist, forcing the british to flee after 12 years of war. The reason was the king believed the resources of the island weren't worth the cost of maintaining it, or so they said.

During the war one of the warlords had been captured and after the exodus of British forces the two remaining warlords began to fight. The island civil war lead to the remaining indigenous population to over through the warlords and they eventually returned to a tribal lifestyle.
In 1790 The Spanish Empire had landed and quickly claimed the island for themselves. The locals had long forgotten their history of violent fighting and quickly was assumed into the Spanish empire. However in 1810 the island joined with Mexican Forces and rebelled and one against the spanish crown. This period became known as La viva Mexicana or in local dialect, The Mexican Life, the locals and Mexicans reproduced the race today known as Moka's of the island Mokostan, as it known as.

Unfortunately the Mexican instability of governments quickly turned the small nation into a death trap of political turmoil. Mokostan signed there independence in 1856 to try and escape the chaos of Mexico. Unfortunately many Moka's wished to remain Mexican and rebelled against this new government,starting the Mexican-Mokastan war.
The war ended in 1864 when Mexico, after losing many men to Guerrilla tactics gave them there independence. Immendiently the western portion declared independence from the Mokan Government. The First Mokostan civil war began, eventually leading many landowners to arm themselves against either faction. Soon the landowners and farmers formed the "People's Defensive Army" under the leadership of Alex Zapata. With growing support and constant attacks by either government Alex Eventually overthrew both governments and formed the first republic of Mokostan in 1872.

The republic swore to keep foreigners out and remain isolated. This government survived until 1906 when the first military coup occurred. This lead to many governments and regimes until 1936 when General Wata opened the borders to allow many Russian refugees escaping Stalin's Reign of terror.
General Wata formed the third Republic of Mokostan and Ruled until 1943 when another period of Political instability rose. In 1996 the current dictator in power was assassinated leading to many of his aides to war between each other for the power over the island. In this Civil war the first few corporations of Mokostan formed the Mokostan Army of United Corporations (MAUC) to protect their interest. Soon after in 1998 the Mokostan's People's Army MPA, was formed by a Teacher/Socialist named Miguel Zapata, who is believed to be a descendant of Alex Zapata. IN 2001 MAUC and the MPA were the only factions left. they both signed the Agreement of St. Alvido promising peace between the two governments and democracy for everyone on the island. The northwestern was to be called Mokastan and the southern Mokastana

In 2006 Field Marshall Anthony Durkin lead a coup against the Republic of Mokastan and invaded the south claiming was was going to “free Mokostan of the weak conservatives and evil leftist.” However after much international support FM Durkin was overthrown and The republic of Mokastana assumed the Island. Which was renamed the Sovereirgn Socialist Nation of Mokastana.
