CNASA is proud to announce that we are accepting 4 foreign astronauts for our first mission "Sirius 13", we think that 13 is just a crazy superstition and nothing more. We have obtained a Saturn V lunar launch vehicle, that we will launch from Cape Velcioraptor, a site 12 miles from San Diego. We hope that in a NS year that the astronauts will go up into space, we welcome assistance from foreign nations.

OOC: This is basically a space exploration RP, with maybe something like Apollo 13 type problems happening, this is open to foreign astronauts.

Astronaut R.J. Krueger has indicated his desire to be an astronaut on this mission.

OOC: Now you can RP arriving at Cape Velicioraptor for the preparations before launch, John is there, he has had some extra training.. They will be picked up from San Diego International by a CNASA Suburban and taken to Cape Velcioraptor.

OOC- The Coalition will be waving at you from slipstream, and the ressurected Ingram will possibly do supersonic flybys :D (he was ressurected by my FT nation, due to need of skilled pilots)

John said to the other astronauts, "Let's go in the simulator again and review the docking to the LEM module procedures so that we can be precise.." He clambered back in the simulator and awaited the others.

But we will at least be brave and go and explore space." He put his own suit on with help and said sighing "My wife will be worried about me those 3 weeks we are up in space.."

Agreed, he will arrive soon at Cape Velcioraptor. He has been through some training already, as he went on the third ship to attemp to go to the moon. (The first two crashed to the Earth and didn't make it out of the atmosphere.)

John waited for the astronauts on the tarmac of Cape Velcioraptor, the big day was coming up quick, he was in the simulator, practicing his re-entry checklist, he had made it succesfully through the atmosphere in the simulator. He had practiced all of the possible emergencies in the simulator, he knew how to work it.

John looked up at the Saturn in the launch pad, thinking of the Apollo men, that were brave, and how he was going to go the final frontier himself.

A plane touched down at Cape Velociraptor, and RJ Kreuger stepped out.

He walked over to Arnold. "Clever name for a spaceport, though I'm not sure I agree with it. But whatever." Kreuger shrugged and awaited the others.

John shook R.J Kreuger's hand and said "Yeah, we named it for the dinosaur, we needed a good name that didn't sound like a rip off of Cape Canaveral!" He laughed and said "I was looking up at the rocket that will get us into space, and I was thinking, we are exploring basically the final frontier."

"HASLEY!!!" yelled Johnson, startling the sleeping pilot "huh? what?" he said waking up "you are on duty Major Hasley! give me fifty pushups!"

Henry stared out the window of the small helicopter that he had been sitting in for the last 9 hours to get here. The helicopter slowly pulled to a stop and landed in the middle of the landing lanes they where was mostly empty except for a familiar man that he thought he saw on the news once, standing in the middle of the tarmac. Finally he was at Cape Velcioraptor. He stepped out of the plane with his small black back pack, he walked a few steps away from the helicopter and the pilot wished him good luck. he nodded in reply and walked over to John Arnold.

OOC: Nothing wrong with the post Greston...

John said to Henry "Hello Henry, our fellow astronaut R.J Kreuger is here, all we need is Ryan..."

"Very nice to meet you Mr. Arnold as well as you Mr. Kreuger, I am glad I can finally go on another space mission. As the NGST Program Director probably told you I was on the first succesful Grestonian launch."

John nodded and said to Henry and R.J "Right, well, the Program Director today wants us to work the simulator for the command capsule and LEM, so that we know our stuff, I've worked my parts, mainly flying it into space, and the re-entry." They walked into the CNASA building, and he led them to the simulator.

Ingram's V/A-12 floated through space, as he was asleep the Intercom buzzed "this is Hasley" said Ingram "Hasley, you need to stop sleeping, it's all you've been doing lately" said Admiral Gardener "yeah, i know, its just i miss my freinds and all"

As John and the other astronauts worked in the simulator, after a particularly difficult mission in the sim that they had barely escaped burn up, he commented "If Mary could see me now, she would be proud of me, after all I am putting in sweat."

OOC: No, Cazelia. Explain to me how you would have retrieved the body.

We will be sure to wave at your spacecraft as it passes by our massive orbital space station, Taikong I (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/16/Spacecolony1.jpg/800px-Spacecolony1.jpg), home to twenty thousand Londinians. You are more than welcome to use the facility as a refueling/resupply station.

Krueger was concerned. "I have a bad feeling about this mission. Maybe it's just me."

John said to Kreuger "Why do you say that, is the fact that the number 13 freaking you out?"

"Yeah me two but it's not the number freaking me out, it's that in these simulations we are barely makeing it out alive. But if we die in the sims it won't matter, but what if this is to happen during the launch? Then we're dead."

OOC- BL, I'm using the Coalition. not Cazelia. there has to be some sort of Ingram's DNA somewhere, even if i did'nt get the body. and in FT, i could clone him and bring back his memory. i decided to go FT since my MT nation is dust.

"I was born on a 13 so It doesn't bother me, dieing on this space mission does though, I don't know anyone of you so I would die alone, and My body would never be found, so lets hope we don't chrash and stop talking about this crap."

Krueger sighed. "I don't know, something unsettling. I don't know what, though."

Ryan nodded thoughtfully. "Have you ever had this before?"

John said sighing "Mary's fine Ryan. I know what the problem is guys, Kreuger, you fly us a bit two shallow in the re-entry pattern, we need it a bit up, Henry, I think if we forget about the 13 we will be fine..", and for the next hour they worked, and they went from barely making it, to doing great by his standards and said "Gentlemen, let us get some rest, tomorrow is the big day!", he lead them to their rooms and he said "Do not worry, if we do all of our jobs like we're supposed to, it'll go great." He went into his room, and fell asleep.

Krueger burped and held his chest.

"Perhaps that's it..." he mused, running off to get an antacid.

John woke up the next morning, and went downstairs to breakfast and announced to the astronauts "Today is the big one gentleman, in an hour, we will change into spacesuits and walk up to the gentry, and board the command module."

"OK then, let's do this!" said Ryan. "Can I bring my iPod Nano?"

Krueger awoke, his hair in disorder. He yawned. "I feel better today." he said, going to comb his hair.

John said "Kreuger is not yet downstairs, but we can get a headstart I suppose. Yes, Ryan you may bring your iPod, I am bringing my iPod Video. Remember the Apollo missions, they had tape players." He went to the room and people helped him put on his Spacesuit.

OOC: I'm going to my friends house, maybe I can post later tonight, if not, tomorrow morning. Just pretend I'm all hyped up and I'm just walking a long and stuff like that.

OOC: Okay..

IC: John was already in his spacesuit, so was Ryan, all they needed was Henry and Kreuger to start going up to the gantry.

John said to Kreuger "Get your spacesuit on, with the help of these people" he gestured to the CNASA suit preparing the suit for Kreguer, "And all we need is for Henry to come down, and we can go up to the gantry."

Krueger walked downstairs, holding an iPod in his hand.

"What's up?"

Krueger got in his spacesuit and walked onto the gantry.

John saw Henry come down and told him to change, and 15 minutes later, they were all suited up, and up on the gantry. John climbed into the mission commanders seat of the command module, and the others followed him. Then the CNASA workers put their boots down and strapped them in hard and then the pulled back and closed the door. The countdown began and John knew this was real, not the sim, but real..

Krueger looked through the window, taking in the view.

"9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3,2, 1, LIFTOFF!", John felt the rockets roaring as they were thrust upward, he saw Cape Velcioraptor looking smaller and smaller, and when they were high enough, the rockets dis-connected.

"My god it's beautiful." He let out anothe smile athen started to grip his back pack waiting for the count down.

"Oh, jeez." Krueger said, as he felt the G-forces from liftoff.

A little later, he watched the rockets fall away.

"Confirmed separation."

Ingram watched the rocket fly through the air, and started the engine "engines accelerating" said the computer, launching the V/A-12 forwards, accelerating mach 3.5, he caught up with the rocket...

Every time he did something like this he had a feeling, a feeling like when he was a kid and watched the foriegn liftoffs and promissed himself he would do that some day, now he did, and he did it twice, he might even do it a third time if he wanted.

They got higher and higher up until not only could you see all of Cape Velcioraptor but you could see all of Calizorinstan then all of Calizorinstans Continent. Then he started to fell very light as if he just lost 20 pounds then he knew they were leaving the atmosphere.

The rocket sailed into the upper atmosphere, nearing the Londinian spacestation.

"We ought to stop and pick up supplies." Krueger said, steering the rocket towards the docking port. He pulled on a lever, which was determined to stay where it was.

"Dammit, throttle's stuck!" he said, desperately trying to break off his approach. The main module missed the station, but the last ascent stage caught on the side of the station and broke apart.

"That... was close."

"What the hell was that!"

"An extremely close call. I hope they're all right."

"Wait people live there, wow now I've seen everything."

Taikong I Space Station

The station consisted of two counter-rotating cylinders each three kilometres in radius, and fifteen kilometres in long. Each cylinder had six equal-area stripes that run the length of the cylinder; three were windows, three were the areas in which the occupants of the station lived and worked.

It was so well built, one could hardly tell that they weren't on Terra. Grass grew from the artifical layer of soil, ersatz rivers flowed through the landscape, and even buildings - shopping malls, office buildings, research laboratories - dotted the landscape.

"Attention! If you can hear the Spatial Hazard Alarm, please proceed to the nearest emergency shelter and don your Mark III space suits immediately!" cried various alarms throughout Cylinder Alpha, shattering the idyllic atmosphere of the station. "Prepare for immediate decompression!"

And it was then that the launch module of the Calizorinstani ship slammed into Cylinder Alpha, ripping through the layers of nanophase aluminum that comprised the window sections. Air gushed out of the station, hurling trees, objects, even people into the cold vacuum of space. Inside the cylinder, sudden loss of pressure caused the blood of thousands to literally boil in their veins.

Such a massive object flying into the space station had never been imagined, and only one experimental technology was available to restore the cabin - plasma shields.

A solid layer of high-charged plasma appeared over the gaping hole in Cylinder Alpha, and, whilst it did stop the loss of oxygen, it vapourized the hundreds flying towards it anyways.

Ingram saw the tragedy "this is callsign reaper of the Coalition marines to Londinian space station, is assistance required?" he asked

Henry sighed and looked out the window his eyes widened and he said in a a bone chilling calm voice, "No I hadn't seen everything, now I have." he was staring at a big gaping hole in the space station, trees, plants, and many different objects were being sucked out of the hole that Sirius 13 had caused. Even bodies were pulled out of the space station and seconds after being suck out their bodies became pale, their blood was boiling inside, as their lifeless bodies floated around space. Then a big green plasma screen formed over the hole. People and objects crashed into the plasma wall and fell to the ground, that was going to cause a problem for British Londinium.

"God bless their souls," Henry whispered then started to raise his voice and said, "dammit R.J. you friggin killed at least 300 people and as well as that you blew a hole in the space station!!"

"Accidents happen. Let's hope this is the only one."

"Yes, ok let's go chrash into a space station, kill 300 Londinians, cost them billions of dollars to fix it and just look it over. Sounds like a good idea to me."

"Well, what are we supposed to do? We can't help."

"Taikong, this is Capcom, requesting daily status report, over," said a capsule communicator, a youngish man with a crewcut and short-sleeved white Oxford shirt. "I repeat, this is Capcom, requesting daily status report." All he recieved in response was garbled static, followed by silence. "Capcom, Taikong space station, do you copy? Do you copy?" Still, nothing.

Another man, this one older and looking slightly more mature, walked up to the Capcom console, drawn by the capsule communicator's frantic attempts to reach the space station. "What seems to be the problem, Jim?"

"Taikong isn't responding," Jim, the Capcom, replied. "I got static, and then the link went dead."

"Ah," the Mission Operations Director replied. "Somebody, bring me up external cameras - maybe the comm array was hit by something."

The large display at the front of the room switched from a polar projection of the planet to an external display of the ravaged space station.

"Holy fucking shit."

Taikong I

"Oxygen and pressure levels stabilizing," a calm voice announced throughout Cylinder A. "Situation nominal. Plasma shield holding. Remain in your space suits, please."

Sergeant Cisco Hoyle, a THEL (tactical high energy laser) gunner, looked down at the devastated station, watched dazed, half-asphxiated men and women stagger around, children cry for parents lost to the cruel gods, husbands search for wives, people sobbing as they saw the floating corpses outside the plasma shield.

"Hoyle, do you copy?" the sergeant could hear through his earpiece.

"Yeah, yeah," he muttered. "What?"

"There's a spacecraft hovering outside near us," the earpiece replied. "Garbled transmission, but it's most likely the fuckwits that blew through the window. Take them the fuck out."

"Roger," replied Hoyle with a sinister smile. He fired his deuterium fluoride laser at the craft, aiming square for the cockpit.

He sighed then said, "Well I guess you're right can you contact them, at least let them know you care. And find out how many died."

"Thanks, I felt bad that those people died, what the fuck was that!!!!" the ship rocked when at least a half a mile behind some ship that must have been following us was shot at from the space station, "Fuck that, I wish you took out that entire station and killed every one of those assholes on it! They thought that shuttle was us!" As he finished talking a transmission came in. "My god it's Hasley. Should we go back for him?'

Krueger picked up the mic.

"Londinian station, do you copy? Sorry about that, we had an engine malfunction."

Henry got out of his seat and went towards the back of the plane he got half to the back and heard the sound of chrunching metal then the scream of R.J. "Holy shit theya re shooting at us!" Henry screamed as the vacums of space started to suck him back to the front of the shuttle. It missed the cock pit and hit a space inbetween the cock pit and the back of the shuttle.

OOC: I don't think so. We're still on the move, not hovering near the space station.

EDIT: I need to confirm it, however.

"shit!" yelled Ingram, pulling his fighter to the side "hold your fire! i did not hit your station! hold your fire!" but his effort was in vain. the laser his the fighter's main hydrolics control, sending his fighter twirling through space, but he managed to eject safely, being launched miles away "this is Hasley to any spacecraft in range, please respond, my fighter was comprimised, requesting pickup"

John saw Henry hit the stir tanks button and swore as they heard an explosion from one of the oxygen tanks in the service module and said "You were supposed to hit that button, but something went wrong...", suddenly he saw the Space Station and the damage they had caused..

"can i speak with John?" asked Ingram

OOC: Who are you asking? I don't think anyone's made contact with you.

John saw Ingram in a F/A-12 outside the window and shook his head, so many things were going wrong, if they had known about the Londinian space station he thought bitterly. John said to the cabin in general "I feel sorry for releasing that service module into that Londinian space station, I accept full responsibility."

John saw Henry hit the stir tanks button and swore as they heard an explosion from one of the oxygen tanks in the service module and said "You were supposed to hit that button, but something went wrong...", suddenly he saw the Space Station and the damage they had caused..

OOC: What did I do? I didn't press any stir tanks

John looked around, they were headed towards the moon, when without warning the computer displayed "Amp short, shutting down computer now, 2nd engine shutoff.", John noticed one light turn off in the cockpit and said to the crew "Do you think we should we go into the LEM now?"

"Sure lets go."

John crawled into the LEM, and said to Ryan "You can keep the for in the command module, we aren't going to disconnect it, we are just going to transfer the Command Module computer data to the LEM. Now, we need to find a lunar colony of some nation incase we are forced to land and survive on the moon.." John took out some maps of the moon.

Henry crawled into the LM with his back pack in his hand and sat next to John who was giving orders.Then he layed back and waited.

John said "Let's prepare the LEM to land where we were designated, this LEM is alot bigger then the Apollo LEM and the service module will stay stationary above the moon. I've got a moon tent kit that we can use, if need be, we can sleep in the LEM.."

John nodded and said "I am preparing to land this thing on the moon now Henry!", he turned the LEM around and navigated it to descend, they were going to land on the moon at last..

Three Delta Gliders, operated by ADF space, detached from the satellites they were furtively attached to, and sailed towards the spacecraft.

John saw Ingram in a F/A-12 outside the window and shook his head, so many things were going wrong, if they had known about the Londinian space station he thought bitterly. John said to the cabin in general "I feel sorry for releasing that service module into that Londinian space station, I accept full responsibility."

Two of the crew members helped Hasley into the medical bay, checking for any injuries while the Glider sped off towards the moon.

John hopped out of the LEM as they made contact with the moon and he grabbed the Calizorinstani flag and the plaques and he planted the flag and plaques on the surface of the moon.

Henry stood above the Calizorinstan plates and Flag. He took out a flag and some plates saying

and in front of it he put up his flag, then he stamped his foot on the moon and when he lifted it up it had a shoe print and the smae thing as the plate, for he carved it into his boots before hand.
