OOC: Due to being Cazelia inspired by what occurred around Cazelia protection of a species of ‘sentient’ cat people which I would find interesting to do by the government sponsoring the destruction of the species that has some intelligence.

“Earlier this year a new species that is closely related to Homo Erectus has been discovered in the upland areas of the central province of Lanap. This discovery was made in the areas of the province which had been the source of rumors of strange hairy creatures in the mountains and uplands. As well, it has been confirmed that they are an extremely violent group which cannot be trusted to exist along modern humans. With their population of 170,000 it has been determined that they must be eliminated in the greater part due to the fact that they have been the causes of at least eight thousand disapprences in the last ten years and in the direct murder of over four thousand Imperial citizens due to their expansions and raids upon humans.

To counter the threat posed by them the governor of the Imperial legions garrisons has ordered for the destruction of a greater majority of their population, which itself is not very advanced and faces much infighting. So as a protection to Imperial citizens the military is being sent in to reduce their population to controllable levels.
