I'm looking to start a new RP, a world war that begins in 1898. I only need 6 or 8 nations, 3 or 4 on either side, and once I have them I will start a new war. You can only use the technology that was available back then, which were:

- Bolt and lever action rifles.
- revolvers
- Artillery, (Mortar, Shell for example)
- Early machine guns. They were big and hard to transport
- Cavalry
- Ships were powered by coal and steam

- No airplanes
- No nukes

To move armies horses and wagons were still used to pull supplies, food, guns, and shells.

Aaaand volunteer.

Side one:
The Mandrivian Empire
The United Socialist States of New Brittonia
The Worker's State of Kulikovia

Side Two:
The Rogue Nation of Trolling Maniac X
The PLANT Province of Spit break

Independent:
The People's Republic of Hurtful Thoughts (Fighting alongside, but not with Side one against Side 2)

Hope you don't mind me using the Hale rocket and generally representing a technologicaly isolated and backward nation.

Rifle would be based upon the Arisaka Meji 38 rifle and carbine (http://world.guns.ru/rifle/rfl22-e.htm), thoughh I'd like to lengthen the mag to hold 10 rounds like the SMLE.

We need just 1 more to sign up for side 2, and then we'll start.

alright gives me time to look up a 1898 japan, so far there naval ships are not bad, most just large ships with two 14 inch duels
