CHAPTER I
Hindi India's nuclear program was originally supposed to be top-secret. Intending only to be as a measure of self-defence during the Cold War, the program had helped the massive country modernize by means of nuclear power.
It all began at the end of World War II after many of Hindi India's neighbors were freed of the Japanese Empire's rule. Many refugees were beginning to return to their countries, leaving entire towns abandoned. These towns were found commonly around the eastern borders, but where some distance away from the rest of civilization. It was an almost-perfect setting for any research projects Hindi India wanted to work on outside of the public eye.
After the Iron Curtain was called on Europe, Hindi India's western ideals seemed to be a threat to the national security, but the country did not want to have their lives controlled by a war of fear. The government faced many protests for and against the western ideas, occasionally sparking into a riot. Hindi India's government then tried to reassure that there was not going to be an invasion, and these claims were true unbeknowest to any Indian due to the USSR's focus on Capitalism elsewhere.
Despite the USSR's uninterest in Hindi India at the time, several spies were discovered over the next few months of the Iron Curtain's awakening. Many were fearful and felt that they needed to get the upper-hand. Several Hindi Indian special ops were then assigned to retrieve the plans of the nuclear warhead from the Black Market.
After retrieving these plans, the project was set in motion. One of the first things that needed to be done was to begin construction and find a suitable testing site, one that has recently been uncovered.
