EDIT AGAIN: They were escorted by 300 Greal Shark fighters.

Green Hawk's Air Force is large and when I say large I mean 1 million personnel in total large. Aircraft, no matter the size of escort, will not get into Green Hawk easily. Try aircraft with low radar signals and try to lower the amount of aircraft as well. 300 craft will be seen and intercepted by the Air Force. The civilians of Green Hawk are not dumb. They know an invasion force when they see one and some also have the number for the military bases near where they live.

Even if you get though Green Hawk's border with such a large force, people are going to notice 1,000 guys with guns moving around. I'm usually nice when I rp, but this is starting to turn into godmodding and I don't like to use that term since this is for fun not to win.

The Shores of Green Hawk
The boats, still full of RG-32 Scout [a fast maneuverable vehicle, "Primary Objective vehicle of choice] began unloading her cargo, quietly. This felt like any other operation. With the agreed upon meeting place set, 50 miles outside of the rebel stronghold, Lt-Col. Parker ordered his men into their RG-32 Scout's and begin moving towards the zone.

OoC: "Primary Objectives is a PMC, and while they are mercenaries, they are very highly trained. Think "Executive Outcomes".

This is my fault, sorry. I have yet to post a factbook or even a map so I'm sorry about this. Green Hawk (most of it at least) is very cold. Cold so that the water surrounding it is ice. The ice is thin so most boats can break though it, but the closer you get to Green Hawk the harder the ice gets making it hard to invade by sea unless escorted by cutters or just really big ships. Also, ever heard of border patrol?


Now this is for everyone. People, stop posting your forces leaving for Green Hawk and landing on Green Hawk in the same post. It makes for bad rp and is not fair for me because I have no way to respond to that IC'ly. So, people need to start some big time editing or I'm going to have to ignore some post. I'm here for fun, but when people send invasion forces and rp them getting into Green Hawk unnoticed that makes me a little mad. Thank you to those that understand. To those who don't... Well, just do your best to understand.

So it is as if they never happened, and ask that anything thread still relating to anything Qadeshi-related be ignored. Because the conditions of said rp were not set down and understood, people misunderstood what your were attempting to do. Because of the very-strong air force and cold water conditions, inserting a force is difficult at best. Regardless, this is your rp, you may run it however you want. I believe, from my postings pov, I cannot edit them enough to make them rp-worthy and/or applicable to this particular operation.

In my opinion [I could be wildly off] but with conditions being as they are, to assist the rebels, a country would have to almost openly declare war on Green Hawk [with all the requisite military forces and buildup] , and fact the wrath of any allies and alliances you may have. This leads to larger international incidents, which to person rp'ing may not have anticipated. Again, you're rp, your rules. If I have said anything out of line, I apologize. Just my opinion.

I still intend to make an IC post in this at some point, just been super busy. For reference, I'll be coming in on the side of the rebels. Not with any kind of super giant force, probably some sort of special operations team, mabye a battalion of troops plus equipment at most, plus equipment for the rebels (if they want it).

Sorry to see you go. Really I'll let things pass with large forces getting though the border, but people keep leaving for GH and landing on GH on the same post. If you want to give it a try again later try smaller forces with simpler methods of entering GH then though brute force (which will never work in any nation). Like sneaking onto ships coming in for trade (GH has a free market so the boats would enter the border unchecked). However, if you wish to leave then that is okay. Good luck with any other rp's you join.

OOC:okay, green Hawk, just ignore my previous posts, but please read the post I posted just a few minutes ago.

What could be the limit on the forces I send? If I side with the rebels I got alot of normal infantry equipped with AK-47s, RPGs etc. But I can also send in special forces.

Note that it will have taken a while for the pods to have fallen to deployment altitude, so take that into account. You should have been able to have them under observation for 10 minutes or so, at least.

Wow, I didn't think of that. That could be fun, but it wouldn't really last long since it only takes an anti-tank missile to take it down and GH has the off button. :D

IC: A massive naval fleet was now heading toward Green Hawk, among the fleet was a large number of troops. They were preparing to land. 2000 Shark fighters took off heading toward Green Hawk.

Night Skies, Green Hawk Capital Region

"No resistance so far. It appears as though all that's painting us is civilian traffic control radar."

"Confirmed. Proceed with neutralization of radar and chaff deployment."

The first wave of pods continues to roar through the atmosphere, slower now. Braking thrusters fire several times, before stopping, and the pods continue to fall. It becomes obvious now that for the most part, they are directed towards Green Hawk's capital region.

Glowing lines appear along the sides of the first wave of pods, and the metal/ceramic shells spring away, propelled by small explosive charges. Inside are revealed racks, with missiles and large cylindrical objects. The remaining thrusters on each pod fire once more, and each pod begins to spin rapidly, as it begins to discharge it's cargo. Thousands of pods, each containing a hundred pounds of chaff, fly outwards into the night sky, then a small explosive charge in each one detonates, flowering the contents outwards into a radar-blocking cloud.

The pods carrying missiles spew them forth as well: a rain of high-speed smart anti-radiation missiles. After leaping clear of their launchers, most race off towards any active radar sources in the area that they can see. WTF? First, next time a warning OOC'ly would be nice. Two, even though this is a war I didn't expect anyone to... Go all out. You do know that no matter what anyone does the rebels lose right? This was meant to be a small war where I can get some experience and have some fun. However, I'll put this rp on hold so that I can think about some stuff (mainly if I should ask for ppl to edit their post or to go along with it). Who's going all out? This is standard procedure for me to do during an orbital drop-- radars and chaff to impede interception measures, and the power plants/radio stations to just cause general chaos and confusion.

I won't be doing an occupation, just shooting stuff up. I can't land more than light equipment using drop pods, after all.

I just had a chat with Axis Nova on AIM and now I have a better picture of what is going on. Thanks once again Axis Nova. ;)

Okay, I was too busy yesterday to type up an IC post, but I'm about to make one right now. If anyone wants to tell me anything before I start, tell me now. I plan on making this post pretty big since what Axis Nova did to GH will get a big response and I just thought up a bunch of character names (this is usually impossible for me). :D

It would only be sold in small numbers only to super close allies. Not even UFAN knows about it and UFAN is the only allies Green Hawk got. So no.

Without a patch that is as close as to committing all out suicide that you can get in Green Hawk. Like I said both OOC'ly and implied IC'ly. The T-REX is the most powerful conventional weapon Green Hawk has in it's entire military. It's secretes are guarded as if they were planet destroying nukes. Also, just like in MGS 4 (for the PMC), everything has a serial number (everything from soldiers to REXs). If one goes missing for no reason someone will know.

Also, your my ally why would you betray me? lol :confused: I'm confused, isn't the purpose of UFAN is to protect one another? rofl I love this alliance more and more everyday. :p

EDIT: The Greal fleet by now was off the coast of Green Hawk after several days of traveling, troops got ready to board the landing craft, over the Greal Naval fleet was hundreds of F-65s flying over to make sure there is no trouble.

Okay, but the war with the rebels is pretty much over. I haven't rp'ed it yet, but the rebels and Green Hawk sorta cut a deal (read the speech Thomas makes). The communist won their right to get to chose if Green Hawk becomes communist or not. While, Green Hawk gets to end the war and get some rest. So everyone has pretty much stop fighting. I planned this out so I could focus rp'ing with Axis Nova instead of separating my focus, in hopes of making better IC post. So in terms, the war of communist V.S. Green Hawk goverment is over. There are still small battles there and there, but for the major part, the war is done with a tie.

Hmmm, did the company see Thomas Glower's speech IC'ly? If not they might not know that the war is over. Could make for good rp if half-way though fighting they find out that they been killing and dying for no reason at all. Could be pretty funny too. What do you think?

Well, if no one else has anything to add, I guess I'll make another post in a bit. I was holding off in case anyone else wanted to reply.

Is anyone still in the rp? I was away for a day or two so I wasn't able to get on that much (or at all). That is why I wasn't on (no duh), but seriously is anyone still here? If I get a yes I'll bump the thread otherwise... It's been fun. Either way I'm doing a complete overall of Green Hawk so don't expect me to be open to posting a lot. I have new ideas and I think I have enough for a factbook. So I'm going to start making one (if I can get my ideas together that is).

I havn't posted yet since I was waiting to see if other people would, but if no one else is, I'll post. :)
